So there's your motivation. Shut that voice up and go lift anyway. When the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain it takes to make change, then you'll make a change.

Kinda makes sense to give custody to the women...The men are just going to die in wars, get murdered, have an accident at work, or kill themselves anyway.

You could talk to her. Like a human. Express to her clearly what you are and aren't looking for, and how you view the relationship. Give her a chance to make up her mind about whether that is something she's okay with. You risk losing a sexual partner, but there's a definite personal satisfaction that comes from being a guy who's honest and not manipulative.

What did you go back to school for? I'm 29, got a useless BA right out of high school and worked a few dead end jobs. Now I have the opportunity to go back to school, and am still feeling out what to study.

Shave it all the way, and you'll learn to love it. It's only holding you back if you think it is. Sure, there will be some women for whom that's a turn off. Oh well. There will also be women who are attracted to it. My hairline started going at about 23. I spent two years trying to style the little tuft that I had, trying to create the illusion that I wasn't losing my hair. It didn't work. I was terribly self conscious about it, and women picked up on that. Finally bit the bullet and just shaved…

That women want to have sex just as much as men, if not more. Don't tiptoe around so much that you never give them a chance to just say yes.

There's a lyric from a Ben Harper song that goes, "It's not too late to be saved. But don't take that attitude to the grave." I'm sure the religious connotation will trigger a lot of Redditor's defense mechanisms, but the basic idea is that it's not too late to change and improve yourself, you can always start today. But if you wake up every day with the attitude "I'll start tomorrow," then you'll die having never done anything.

If you feel like the beard is something that is holding you back (a self-limiting belief), either work on changing that belief or just shave the beard.

I think people get this backwards much of the time. It is the attitude that one must have to become wealthy that women find attractive. In general, to acquire wealth (yes, there are exceptions) one must be disciplined, committed, confident, assertive. Money is a byproduct of this mindset. Women are a byproduct of this mindset.

Maybe flash the bankroll a little more. Chicks love money. But even more than that, they love guys who use money to impress them. /s

We're on the same page. My frustrations with my lack of success with women is what led me to pickup and the PUA community. Somewhere along the way, women became less important and I began to focus on becoming the best version of myself. "Becoming a better person, healthier, more successful." Paradoxically, a byproduct of this shift in attitude was a lot more success with women.

Financial solvency and stability are important. But it's harmful to send the message that, without these things, one cannot be attractive. It stops guys before they get started and may prevent them from changing the things about them that are more readily within their control.

You make one great point. Confidence does not ensure that you will score every time. It does, however, give you the best chance to be successful. Your other point is less clear. Is it that fame and social proof are attractive? If so, I agree. Is it that fame and social proof can outweigh unattractive physical traits? If so, I agree. Is it that, without fame and social proof, confident bald men can't have success with women? Disagree. You ask, "if he wasn't rich and famous, would he still have a …

Thanks, man. To clarify it even more, I'd say that being comfortable with your look is not the same as settling and making no efforts to improve. But in this case, what "improvement" can be done? OP was balding, so he shaved it. There's nothing else to be done. So he should learn to be comfortable with it since the alternative is doubting himself forever.

If you think wealth and fame are the only reason he gets laid, then you should probably get started on becoming rich and famous, because that's what it will take for you to feel confident. Alternatively, you can work on your self-limiting beliefs, fibd the good things about you, come to peace with your flaws, and start having sex with lots of women who don't care what your hair looks like.

Some do, many don't care. My hairline started going at about 22. For a few more years, I tried styling it in ways that I thought hid its recession. Finally, at 25, I shaved it and started keeping it at a #1. Instant confidence booster. I went from being very self conscious about my hair's appearance to giving 0 fucks. As a result of this and other changes in my life, I have had huge success with women in my post-hair life. My take? Women hate bald men who are insecure about their baldness. Insec…

Depends on the social structure. In small tribal communities in which promiscuity is acceptable, one advantage for a woman who sleeps around is the confusion of parentage. No one man would know he was the father, and many men would work to help raise the child. Many fathers means more resources, which means a higher likelihood of survival. This increases the chance that those genes get passed on. And passing on genetics is what it's all about.

"Claiming" to identify with a religion is not the same as embracing and living within its moral code. Many girls who claim to be Christian do nothing more than wear cute silver crosses... What OP is getting at is the idea that societies in which a religious morality is a major part raise women with more old fashioned values, women who fear judgment, even if there's no one around to see what they're doing. In my opinion, you want to raise a child not to fear you, because fear will lead to rebelli…

Women aren't property like cars and houses. You never get to a point where they're paid off and you own them. They have free will. If they want to fuck around, they will fuck around. You may not want to be with a "taken" woman, and that's your choice. But its equivocation to argue that someone else is "stealing" or "destroying property" by doing so.

To give a serious answer...this would be a HUGE red flag for me if I was considering a relationship with this girl. That kind of promiscuity is indicative of some sort of childhood trauma, or at the very least an absent/distant/abusive father. Doesn't mean she's a bad person, just that she probably won't make for a great partner without working through a lot of her issues. (WARNING - you are not the one to help her) If you're just looking to hook up, at least we know she's open to it. Make your …

I'll speak to just one part if your post. Shave your head. I started balding around 24, and tried to gel and style my hair in s way to minimize the appearance of this fact. Despite that, I remained very self conscious and insecure about my look. Which translates into a lack of confidence, with women and in life. Now that I've shaved my head, I feel so much better about my look. I accept that some women love a full head of hair and may not be for me. There are also some women who love the shaved …

Some old advice is, "Go out and fuck ten other women." I don't think it's meant to be taken strictly literally, but the simple act of pursuing other women, of opening yourself up to interest in other women, and the inevitable lays that will result from this will see you through to the other side.

My favorite bit of the article: Woof: "I don’t recall any women at the [county] fair being assaulted, harassed or threatened." Interviewer: "Statistically there probably were. Most women are harassed in some way every single day." Wtf? The interviewer has no idea either way that anything happened to anyone at some random county fair, but feels its safe to assume that someone was abused. And then goes on to say that MOST women are harassed in some way EVERY DAY! Yikes.

I love it. Sounds right out of David Deida's "The Way of the Superior Man." In that book, he makes the point that, not only should a man never compromise his mission to put a woman first, but she really doesn't want that either. Well done, sir!
