That's not even a joke. We had an emergency part come in from the Airforce (Navy guy here) to fix an aircraft part. Last time it was checked good? 1968. Shit still worked after we modified the connector and checked it, so we used it.

Eh, more like Tumblr is full of SJW types seeking to rework every word's meaning into something they can use to brow-beat people with. I just would have never expected it out of a work like headmate of all freaking things.
/r/MensRights26/03/15 04:17 AM

In the Navy a bathroom is called a head. In the barracks, depending on the type you get assigned, you could share a head with another room. This allows 4-8 people to share the same facilities. The people you share a room with? Roommate. The people you share a head with? Headmate.

Then all apologies, good sir. I do believe your usage of "based" is a regionalism to which I've not been heavily exposed. You might check out the full definition of base[1] at merriam-webster.com to see what I'm talking about. Based is a word being bandied about, typically in reference to 3:a and 5:a definitions.

While I am sure they are good at what they know in their class From my experience they are very knowledgeable about their field. Unfortunately, few of them actually know how to teach, let alone how to communicate complex information effectively.

The way it works for social "science" is, Theory, work backwards to support theory, only admit data that supports theory, if you cannot substatiate the theory based on collected data, then manipulate the study as needed to produce the desired results which may hint at the theory you set forth to prove. Our self-proclaimed SJ teacher in my Civics and Ethics class essentially told us, when researching for our discrimination papers, "Look at the title, look at the opening statement. If it doesn't p…

The only CS related scholarships at my university are all female-only.

Nah, you just get sent to the principal's office a lot and get low grades. These days with all the police in the schools? Probably jail time and a record.

I get to learn about patriarchy in my 'civics and ethics' college class. After hour-long rants about feminism and evil men.

I checked the scholarships available at my university. All but one were 'female required' and the last one was 'female preferred'.

Currently taking a required 'civics and ethics' class. It started off reasonable, but now that you can't drop the class its turned into an hour long feminist rant. The professor even says that she is a social justice educator. I figure that if I just sit down, shut up, and do the homework I can at least get a passing grade. Then I won't have to torture myself further by having to re-take it. I have no illusions about any man getting an A in that class. She gets this look every time a man speaks …

enjoying cold iced Cappuccinos from Tim horton's. It is both horrifying and hilarious to see some of these bases now. Instead of just dirt, dust, sand, and rocks now you get Burger King and Tim hortons.

It also established a record with the police (if they are doing the proper paperwork). This is good for any future lawyers you may need. Edit: speaking of records, keep a notepad and write down everything she says to you, whenever she visits your place of work, or any other details you can think of. Make sure to put time and date on every interaction as well as anything you can think of to write down. And if need be, copy everything new you put into that notepad and back it up.

They have been doing it for awhile. The last few months has seen a much larger amount of censorship than normal, most likely due to the increasing number of SJWs taking over popular subreddits.

Why are universities allowed to handle crimes instead of the police?
/r/MensRights01/08/14 03:11 AM

Pre-crime: coming to a dystopia near you! Remember citizen if you aren't a criminal yet, you will be.
/r/MensRights20/07/14 05:18 PM

If multiple different women with no connection to each other all report suspicious but not criminal behavior from a man, that man is almost certainly a sexual predator. Are you retarded? Read it again.
/r/MensRights20/07/14 04:21 PM

This is why we have such a biased and terrible criminal law system.

Reminds me of going through the scholarships available at my University. All of them except one are female required and/or preferred. And I don't qualify for the one (most non-perfect people won't).

We can't convict people without evidence so let's change the rules. Gotta fill up those prisons one way or another. With all this 'legalized' marijuana going on they have to have another way.

Its interesting that "call the police" is not on the list of advice on how to deal with female domestic abuse. Because the man will be the one arrested. And there is a distinct possibility of being beaten to death on camera while the police go on holiday.

As a society we are moving very near to debt bondage. With the recent world wide agreements between multinational corporations this sort of poison is begging to spread.

I haven't had a smartphone for years. Just got a new one this xmas as a gift. Downloaded an old (and useful) app from the google play store and suddenly my phone autoupdates several hundred contacts from both my throwaway gmail account and my main yahoo account (somehow) and I think it even got my FB contacts in there somehow. Its not really a question of letting a service do something as it is a question of how to keep such invasive "services" from happening in the first place.

It's always men driving around beat-up work trucks looking for scrap metal to recycle. Well yeah. Women always have a fall-back plan. The oldest fall-back plan. Men (usually) have to get more creative to keep from starving to death.
