Thats just fearmongering for men. The reality is getting an STD is hard and not a big deal for men.I have had unprotected one night stands with 50+ women and only had chlamydia once (sorted with antibiotics in a couple of days). HIV as an hetero man is almost impossible to get even with repeat exposure, just look at the research. You are just lied to minimize risk for women and contain the prevalence of STDs, only thing I would worry about is to get someone pregnant

I’m a guy, and I feel awkward when women I’m not interested in make moves on me, and bear in mind I’m talking women moves i.e very subtle and just showing some interest, not blunt like men approaches, so just the thought of having “people” approaching me all the time would be very off-putting and makes me anxious. I have had some conventionally attractive girlfriends and it is a pain, not necessarily because I’m jealous but genuinely feeling sorry they have to live through that, like for example…

Sex with the same person can get boring after a while regardless of how attractive that person is, while there's always some sense of excitement when it is someone new. This happens to men all the time as well, I reckon probably more often based on countless episodes I've seen of men cheating, even myself, with less attractive women Attraction is of course important but ultimately after the initial "new partner excitement" fades you need to know how to get her in the mood etc

Nonetheless speaks volumes about the woke & cancel culture that a guy that got away with using institutional money on hookers, drugs, parties, and has been involved on all sort of shady corruption scandals that have consistently been swept under the rug by spains ruling party & president, is now forced out over a nothing burger kiss.

Ive seen less attractive guys faring better in smaller pools, options and social circles are more limited so it can play in your favour, in my experience people tend to rely on OLD less as well. However, if you are relatively successful and have no problem getting women then I would always choose a larger market because the possibilities are just endless

It matters a lot but mainly to amplify your success. Ive lived in smallish towns and you can run through the dating pool fairly quickly, whereas in London I could have a date every day if I wanted. At the same time it is also harder to stand out as you also compete with the best, people are more attractive and have considerably higher social value in larger cities.

“They only want you for your money, passport, status etc” As if western women didn’t care about that lol The only difference is in those countries you are already ahead of 95% of the competition so your bargaining power is on par with women

Think it steams from them overthinking everything 50x and trying to control all outside factors I struggle to understand how is this men’s fault, guess they expect us to apologise for our tendency to being generally more stoic.

No shit.. of course even henry cavill or any attractive superstar could eventually creep out women if they purposefully try hard enough, but the point is the actual threshold for that to happen. If you are attractive you will need to show a psychopath like stalking behaviour whereas if you are ugly just existing, sharing the space or brief eye contact will do

I think it is close to 100% down to how attractive you are. I have got some friends that get outright disrespected or treated like trash by women and labelled as weirdos, creeps etc simply because they are not attractive, they don’t do anything different in fact they are way more cautious with approaches etc. I have almost never seen one of my attractive friends treated anywhere close even when they go for borderline rude or too direct interactions. At worse women laugh it off and shut their adv…

You don’t see how money and status helps having sex? Take 2 identical twins 30M One works in mcdonalds, hobbies include gym, vidyas and smoking pot. Men care about looks and you are socially judged by how attractive your partner is, why would you actively promote the opposite? You’d rather encourage her to workout, eat healthy and dress somewhat sexy.

I agree it’s a way to meet a lot of women and knowing how to dance clearly helps in some social venues. However Ive been to salsa/bachata classes with my gf/exs and I have mostly only seen creeps and weirdos. Women know and read through that. If you are unattractive/unsuccessful with women you will immediately be classed as one. I know a couple of guys that do well but they are good looking to begin with they would easily get women somewhere else, ultimately I only see it as a way to magnify you…

I take it as a compliment however it can have a negative effect if you are interested in a LTR. Women can be very insecure and if they know their man could have access to casual sex it can fuel it further. My gf is somewhat jealous and she always brings it up during arguments “all the bitches you have fucked from your instagram blabla”, because in her mind I was a player there’s always distrust and extra scrutiny even if I’m 100% faithful

I think Chad would be mentally fucked… I have seen this happening with good looking guys balding, I know a couple that honestly hit rock bottom. The fact that you were attractive to begin with makes it 10x worse

The question raised was whether withholding sex is a good way to secure commitment(it’s not, quite the opposite) not how to filter guys just looking to pump and dump you

Im surprised women keep getting this all wrong. Men will stick if they like you enough, it doesn’t matter if you had sex on the first date. However, many men will certainly never stay if they haven’t received the best “sex treatment” as some random, so the moment you decide to withhold sex you might be protecting yourself to men that only want something casual, I understand, but you are not improving your chances of retaining anyone rather the opposite.

The scenario where I see this happening is where the guy is a 6- and is settling as there’s a bottleneck to date any better. I very rarely see a 7+ guy meaning someone with options that decides to be with a less attractive woman (in a serious relationship) of course in clubs sometimes you see some that just want a quick fuck with whoever is available. I know some cases where they were equal and she got worse over time and they are still together, but the guys cheat at any opportunity

The problem is you don’t really want men to talk it out or be vulnerable, you might think that is what you want because you believe that is the alternative to the toxic behaviour you mentioned, etc, but its not. The opposite is a man that despite adversity stays functional and mentally strong without showing weakness. You can’t change how your brains are wired. Every time a man shows weakness in front of a woman, he becomes less attractive in her yes

I can share my european view. I consider myself libertarian although in the current political climate in my country most people would just label me as far right/conservative just because im anti-socialism/lefties etc. I’m open about it, and OK to talk politics or any controversial point if it comes up, I don’t hide but don’t try to convince others either, just share my view and my reasons. I know several women like that and in reality what they mean is they haven’t been approached by their henry cavill that would immediately fall in love with them without further interaction They have got men lingering when they go out, forcing interactions with them with any excuse at the gym, at work, etc, they just knowingly or unknowingly shut their advances straightaway because they don’t meet their standard, then complain they are unlucky or unsuccessful

Im 31 and I have become exponentially more successful over time. It really is true than when it rains it pours. Never really struggled with women but until 26-27 I would have to work way harder to get just a 6-7, then it started to change due to a combination of things. 1- I lookmaxx and became more physically attrative. From a 6 to a 7.5-8 (massive treatment diff) 2- Career wise/Status | back then I was just another broke young guy whereas now I’ve got a great career and cool lifestyle going It…

I don’t know if that is better though I know ugly women a group of 2-3s and yes they can always get to sleep with 5-6s every night if they want and maybe that’s great from a men’s brain PoV but they are equally frustrated as they know they are just cum dumpsters and no guy they regard as valuable would date them.

I honestly don’t care, as long as she doesn’t hinder my lifestyle and have to subsidise her, I don’t mind how much money she’s got or whether she has a high status job. It’s simply irrelevant, I think it can actually be counterproductive as my ideal wife would be traditional and take care of the family/myself etc, which will be difficult if not impossible to balance with a very successful career.

I have had periods with 5 girls on demand and I'm not even a chad, just a solid 7, I don't think it is anything special just 80% of the guys are unf*ckable so that multiplies everyone elses options, I just FWBd all the girls good enough to have sex with but not hot enough to qualify as my GF. I did this when I was younger and having casual sex was harder, after I turned 26-27 I started to have no FWB as I could get one night stands easily so why bother, if anything I have one to do some "plans" …

I used to agree with your points but I’ve came to realise that they actually are a competitive advantage. I’m increasingly more successful with women not just because I improved myself but because 80% of the male population basically hinder their options.

Might be location based or smth, in Europe I think women are on average at least 1-2 points above in looks to their partners. I see this specially around above average guys 7/10 dating 8.5+. I almost never see ugly girls with a handsome guy. Yeah men will have sex with them in private but won’t take them out

I was gonna say this, I’m a guy and in my experience certainly checks, I’m thinking of my last 3 GFs continued being very fit during the relationship whereas I gave up exercising and was not at my ‘single’ peak in any case. Dating is equally expensive for both genders, if you as a man pay for someone elses meal, thats on you, stop blaming others for simping. It’s 2023 most women in the western world are already financially self sufficient. Don’t be delusional. They sleep with you because you are paying, full stop, hookers surely have casual sex for free with guys they are into. You might not be the ‘worst’ they have done but going from there to thinking they are into you is a massive stretch. I guess not everyone might feel the same way but for me I would say 1st of all don't play around if you are not interested just to have someone lingering, don't entertain their approaches. If despite that they keep insisting or make a direct attempt, just simply say you are not interested and move on. Mix of things 1- lookmaxxing: used to be a 6/10, cute at best guy. Now I’m probably a 7.5 on a good day. Thanks to this I also gained confidence and my game improved massively. Used to be very shy now I approach girls effortlessly 2- non physical (mostly money/status): back then was another broke student/graduate. 31M 100+ Its been fun and mostly worth it. The only thing I regret is not having been that focused when I was younger, I didn’t really start hooking up consistently until 26-27 mark, before that I was probably at around 20 However I must admit in my case it came at a cost, as now I’m like an addict, I’m less likely to engage on LTRs and the sex drive led me to cheating etc. On one hand I would like to have a partner for life, have a family etc, but on the other I struggle with that commitment. UK/Europe I would say most couples are equal or the girl slightly better looking (maybe +0.5 or 1 point on the scale). However I know most people would say "she's way better" just because men are consistently underrated. I have seen many instances where a couple was clearly balanced and almost everyone was saying he's dating out of his league. Men are overwhelming more likely to be subject of violence and physical confrontations/crimes everywhere in the western world so not sure where you are on the world being "unsafe" for women. if anything, we all need self-defence tools but specially if you are a guy.

I'm not sure where you draw the line on promiscuity, that's probably a debate of its own. I think men are way more likely to have a higher n-count if they actually have the chance. However most are limited to their lack of opportunities. Men are judged based on the amount and quality of women they get all the time, while for women is kind of the opposite (the less the better) and we have a higher sex drive. in terms of n-counts although the balance is 1:1 the distribution is probably for top men…

I doubt that happened. I have seen hot girls tinders and their likes are in the thousands, every swipe is a match and the chances of guys not giving her attention if she is engaged in the conv are minimal. The only way OLD might "suck" for women is like due to the overwhelming amount of options and unrealistic high standards you will always find yourselves chasing unicorns and the real world men will seem disappointing, while the ones that are deemed acceptable are only interested in casual sex

The pressure is just different, for women it can be LTR, marriage and having kids. Men are however constantly judged on their ability to get women, basically it's the one metric that defines your success and worth, I would say even more than wealth, status or whatever given most men pursue that just as a tool to actually get more/better looking women.

I'm not against OLD per se and I'm in general quite successful vs most guys, the problem I had was thinking it was an accurate reflection of my "self worth" which led to disappointment and frustration when I realized that in general, 95% of the girls I would get online are around my league at best in terms of physical attractiveness, while in face to face interactions I know I can aim higher as there are many other variables other than just "looks" that play in my favour offline. I always split and I don't think that has ever been poorly received by women, some girls even invited me. I'm sure I'm net positive in terms of money spent on dates. I don't think inviting offers you any value as a man, more importantly why would I want someone going out with me just because I'm paying? I want her to do it because she truly enjoys my company. That men value looks over anything else, that's a fact, I wouldn't go for the dumbest and there's certainly a floor I wouldn't cross other than for sex, but I'd certainly much rather date an 8/10 with average job/income than a 6/10 successful woman among top 5% earners in the country. The main reason is because I do well for myself and don't need anyone else to subsidize my lifestyle. Just focusing on money because it is the easiest example to link to success here. Get jacked/lean, haircut(depending on your balding stage)+well groomed beard to your face style, nice fit clothes, decent skincare routine. It is usually the least attractive people that neglect them because…

dating is a numbers game and a no just gets you closer to a yes.

I know this might be counterintuitive and controversial in the board but I would focus on your race, lower value women and use that as a stepping stone to scale from there. You haven't had any sort of game in 10 years and your self esteem is just negative, women can see through that in a heartbeat, the chances of you hitting jackpot are minimal if not non-existent.

people saying london is hard clearly have not lived in a small-mid sized city lol just with OLD if you are somewhat average you would be able to pull easily, let alone if you go out... I don't do daytime cold approachs so hard to tell but other than that it is as easy as it gets, unless you are comparing vs touristic areas in asia, latam where you are well above the average guy. OK competition might be tougher, but still

I guess I'll just focus on face to face approaches and just use OLD for …

I go with honesty on some like what do you do, how old are you etc. Don't see a reason not to answer these. With sex oriented tests I normally go with the vague/playful approach, but inclined to honesty. Being perceived as a player and having an active sexual life I think plays in your favour in most hook up scenarios, and if I'm discarded for a potential "serious" relation because of that, I would say I dodged a bullet anyway

Easiest way to shut a feminist. Bear in mind I'm proabortion but it's hard to justify that women rights are above the fetus/life or whatever you want to call it right to live while men's rights are below and not considered at all at any point in the process and if she decides to move forward - and don't get me wrong, I accept it is their body and decision - you have to provide your whole life and embrace parenting because all of sudden now the rights of the child matter
