Pressing charges isn't up to the school. Now I'm going to assume they're both minors and we're not talking jail time. But if it's a recurring problem then yes, there are measures you can take. As a teacher i well never encourage violence, however i will admit to being a hypocrite because i have straight up decked dudes for disrespecting my wife. Note i said dudes.
