“I lost the ability to give her grace” is such a profound and thoughtful way of putting it. At some point even the best of us cannot do it any more.

OP, if you want to stay in the marriage, be patient. Be the best version of yourself you can. Regardless of the outcome it will be the best thing you can do for yourself and for your family.

I understand, and it’s of course your call. I personally would be scared of having a gun in this sort of situation since it seems so easy to have a terrible outcome in just a second. Take care of yourself, I wish you the best.

33 is young. Take the time to heal and work on yourself. Do not rush into a relationship because you are hungry for something - a family, kids, whatever

Your episode with the gun is pretty scary. Perhaps consider not having a gun in the house for a while till you are in a better place? You could have a trusted friend hold on to it or put it in a safe deposit box. Hope you feel better.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
