Sounds like you’ve engaged in neocapitalism and gender norms. Being a successful capitalist doesn’t make you a happier person but you can certainly make money. Redpilling is more the belief that women and progressive ideologies are the reason men are lonely and poor and this must be eradicated.

I’m sorry you have conflated 4chan, your brother and father and all men. I don’t want to not all men your very important and real observations, but I think you need to be much further away from these people and spaces. Because honestly, there are a lot of men and women out there who don’t behave in this way. Patriarchy and misogyny do pervade all aspects of life though, so as others have said you need to find support to build resilience. Have you considered building muscle or learning to fight? …

Leave. Get therapy. Enquire within as to why you felt a man who hated all women (except you) was appealing or justifiable.

Oof that’s embarrassing, how do you introduce him to friends? Family? This is not a viable long term relationship. We have been making fun of the Trumpet for Patriots in our household all campaign. Your ick is probably based not only on your ethics, but your pride and confidence in him as someone who can be part of your community. I had a friend that dated a guy like this and it was honestly hard to keep her as a friend.

I wonder if there’s a bias here based on the types of women entering military, I don’t know any myself but perhaps they come from families where the fathers are domineering and traditional. Just a thought. Sometimes humans can be their own worst enemies, especially in your 20s you can perpetuate shitty dynamics you experienced growing up and sometimes you realise it and change your ways and sometimes you don’t.

I left someone with a big penis for someone with a much smaller one. Curiously, nothing about their penis sizes were relevant.

It could be an interesting goal for you to become more sexually progressive and consider how you could be in a sexually free relationship one day where you respect your partners bodily autonomy enough to be comfortable not being monogamous. I’m not saying to actually necessarily go for non-monogamy but even dabbling in the philosophy and concept of it more broadly could help you let go of some really limiting fears. If you’re constantly bracing yourself against someone cheating on you, you’ll al…

It’s so curious that you find them addictive it goes to show they’re looking for views and hits over being authentic. It must be like the pokies. Nothing will change until you stop hating yourself though. There’s something in you that is resentful and needing to blame others for your lot in life (and realistically there are a lot of social systems you could blame). It’s not an uncommon trait and the way your brain is trying to feel better is through consuming content that makes you feel like you…

When this has happened to me I have had men step in on occasion and ask me if I would like to sit with them and their partner, that was helpful. I can see why these guys didn’t engage, some men have been physically assaulted when trying to intervene even if the situation didn’t appear to be escalating. Hell, I’ve stood back and watched this sort of thing go down, quietly planning what I would do or say if things got worse. Like others have said, sometimes you can feel like no one cares but every…

“Baggage”. Or…. Life experience? Valuable wisdom? Interesting conversation? Only insecure people seek out very young people as partners (of course there are age gaps that aren’t perverse), because they need to feel like expectations are low, that they can impress their partner with their worldly experience, and they can dominate the relationship, as opposed to being equals in life.

Well, men do have it better on most fronts, statistically speaking, except for the realm of heterosexual casual sex. But as he’s mentioned, there are reasons for women to not enjoy casual sex as much such as rape and unwanted pregnancy. But the patriarchy certainly constrains men and women to limiting gender norms and I feel for men who have a hyper focus on sex because they’re not getting any other intimacy through friendships.

It’s worth considering what your make or breaks are in a partner yourself (and be honest), then ask, well, why? Why do I want my partner to be honest, forgiving, loving, funny, interesting, passionate, attractive? Are these things total deal breakers or just nice to have? It perplexes me why males think their female partners should be X, Y, Z but it’s unfair that they can’t be ugly, depressive and antisocial to find love.

I’m sorry you sound like you still don’t see her as a complex human being but a “female” with a use-by date. You probably need to do some more soul searching. No one is required to give you any emotional attachment they don’t want to, especially when it comes to the sensitive nature of having a child to protect. A younger man once told me I was fucked up and afraid of commitment because I didn’t want a relationship with him. It was those words that reinforced his immaturity to me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
