My first advice is be prepared to be rejected and be cool with it. Flirting at the gym does happen. It sometimes works. Sometimes it doesn’t. It’s obviously different for men and women. Men should be more hesitant. Women can be more direct. Still, a majority of people who go to the gym, go to the gym to exercise. I’m NOT the most handsome man in the world. However, I was approached by a woman once. I was completely confused. She was close in proximity. Made a lot of jokes. She complimented my ph…

You want to approach 10-25 girls in one location then go to another location and approach 10-25 girls. You also want to pick a location where it is common to get approached. A college campus, a bar, a club, etc. I personally would NOT encourage you because I don’t think that you are ready for THAT much rejection all at once. You’ve been rejected twice and it sounds like you’re flipping out already. I would encourage you to approach one girl a day for 40 days. Then approach 60 girls in one weeken…

Mark Manson, the author? I just watched some dating advice from him. I had no idea he wrote a book about dating too. Damn. Anyways, watched the video, I already do most of the things he suggests that you do. So, I can say, yes, because I do a majority of the things he suggests. Here’s the thing though, I “figured this out” by myself. No one told me to be honest, to screen, focus on values, etc. I learned these strategies through trial and error. The thing I see with guys a lot is that many of th…

Make female friends. Crazy I know, but if you have female friends, you can playfully flirt with them. Guys flirt with other guy friends all the time and pretend to be gay because they think it’s funny. The guys know it’s all in jest and still completely platonic. You could do the same thing with women. Additionally, you can practice by going to bars, clubs, etc. It’s very simple but difficult if you choose the later. Moreover, don’t immediately flirt with a woman you JUST befriended. Take your t…

You’re response is fine. It’s good. Just keep it lighthearted. If, IF, it’s serious, she’ll let you know. But, a majority of the time, it’s a shit test. Other guys shared their own personal response. Again, just keep it lighthearted. Now, are you overthinking it? Maybe. It’s probably just a shit test, but if you feel like this question comes up too often, you might be inviting them over too soon. I disagree. I think it should be higher than 100. 400 or 1,000 even. The whole, “what’s the point”? The point is to learn from trial and error. Meaning, you go and try, with the mindset that you’ll probably fail a 100 times but you’ll learn and start to get better. 1 - 10, you’re scared. 10 - 25, you’re awkward and a bit less scared. 26- 50, you’re a bit less awkward and almost not scared. 51 - 75, you’re less awkward and aren’t scared anymore. 76 - 100, you’re not scared and barely awkward. I.) Stop doing things you DON’T want to do in the first place. “I don’t even like taking most women on dates but…” But nothing. I’d you don’t feel like it, don’t do it. If you think, date = sex, you will be destined to fail. II.) You have to be ok, you have to be willing to accept, you MUST be at peace with your decisions being your decisions and NOT a desired outcome. Example, if you don’t want to take them out on a date, don’t. If you just want to have sex, let them know, and let it be. You go…

I used to spend a lot of money on dates. Now, I don’t. I essentially pay little to no money on dates for the first 4 dates, I’ll start to spend money after that. There are women, not all women obviously, but there are some women who go on dates for a free meal. So, I avoid spending any money, if possible. How? I go on walks, go to free events, coffee dates where I bring my own water. IMHO, if she’s interested, she will still have a good time. If she’s not, she’ll probably end the date early. I’v…

Dawg. ioi’s are ioi’s. ioi’s don’t mean that you’ve sealed the deal. Also, ioi’s can easily be misinterpreted. Many times a woman simply being polite is misinterpreted as an ioi. It’s true but people need to take this advice with a grain of salt. Being vulnerable and/or “weak” in front of your romantic partner should NOT be taken lightly. You Should NOT be vulnerable with your partner if you genuinely DON’T feel comfortable or ready to be vulnerable. Yes. I’m not a pretty guy. I did have a glow up though. I started to get more attention. My game was horrible before the glow up. After the glow up, my game was still horrible. No. I agree. You have to work with what you got. I just dislike the narrative that “pretty guys” don’t have game. It might be mediocre. It might even be “bad” but it’s never “THAT BAD” for too long. I’ve taken multiple co-parenting classes. They each called parallel parenting as a type of co-parenting. “Co-“ means joint and/or mutual. You are mutually parenting. It is separate but mutual. It did. We have a very good co-parenting relationship. All water under he bridge. I don’t hold anything against her. Our mutual friends see us being cordial with each other. Be smart. Don’t be emotional. Lawyer up. Do your due diligence and research. Let your ego go. Focus on your kids. Again, be smart, don’t be emotional. Imagine what the judge will think if he has one parent who thinks they should have ALL the holidays, ALL the summers, can travel wherever but the other parent needs approval? Making all these “demands” with the reason is, “She’s a bitch your honor.” It’s not going to go well. If you have substantial evidence that she is incapable of spending time …

IMHO, getting married is important to raising a family. Yes it is a risk, so make the best decision for yourself. Do you currently have a partner? Statistically speaking, being married increases the likelihood of being able to raise your kids in the most successful fashion. Moreover, being married guarantees you that you are the parent of the kids you have during your marriage. If your aren’t married, you don’t have any parental rights until you take a DNA test to confirm. Additionally, I think it’s the best thing is that there is a proposition for VA that if you are married and end up filing for divorce the custody of the kids will be 50/…

You only make the situation worse by being upset over it. Separation is hardest on the kids. Let them have this joy. Be happy for them. Be the best you can be when they are with you. That is all. That way, they will always be happy, which will help them in the long run because trust me. They are hurting a lot. [+]

Usually when a man is thinking about divorce a woman is planning for it. Meaning, partners should be on the same wavelength. When they are not, separation enters their minds. I.) Girls usually don’t pursue men. It’s usually men who pursue women. II.) Most of the advice posted here can be useful for men and women. E. G. Don’t make yourself always available, prioritize your life goals over finding a romantic partner, confidence is key. III.) Most of the time, it’s men who are clueless. Rarely is it women. IV.) To answer your question, in two parts. A.) What I initially attracts me is mostly superficial. Fashion is big for me. Like I was telling this one girl, she doesn…

I feel you and while I agree to an extent, it kind of makes this subreddit, useless. Why sign up? Why post? Why interact? If the only thing we “need to do” is “be ourselves,” why bother at all? While I agree we should be ourselves, there are, for a lack of a better word, strategies one can use for seduction. Like the importance of creating sexual tension. Being able to read the room. Solid ice breakers, not pick up lines, but ice breakers. The importance of being unique/different. The importance…

Yeah. Your paradigm works as well. I am unsure if you read the follow up post, when Viva explains what she means about faking it til you make it. I think you are both right. Because these mindsets work best for each of you. [+]

I get what you’re saying, the going out of your comfort zone long before you were confident about it. Yeah, that’s faking it to you make it, in a way at least. I get that. I also still struggle with that. To use your example, I want to tryout a new outfit like wearing a fedora with a denim jacket, let’s say, I’ll try it on, and if I don’t feel confident/comfortable, I won’t wear it. I struggle to “fake it till I make it,” and go out with the outfit. But, I’ll happily wear some orange pants, with…

Respect. Honestly, I struggle with this. Not confidence per say, but more of “fake it till you make it.” If I don’t feel confident, I accept it, and work on it. Sometimes I work on it at the moment, get myself hyped, and realize that I’m dope AF. It doesn’t always work, so when it doesn’t, I just accept that I don’t feel confident RN, and I should work on that. Never thought about faking it til I make it. Good food for thought though. [+]

Someone who is comfortable doesn’t go out of their way to prove that they are comfortable. They just are. Same with confidence or anything. My initial post shared lyrics of Ludacris while expressing how amazing sex can be. The argument being made here is that the concept of “no sex” is vilified so much that it promotes toxic mindsets; one being self worth. Your case for example, if you view yourself negatively because you didn’t have sex until you were in your mid 30s and that it was through prostitution, that’s bad. That’s horrible. Your self worth should not be based solely on your sex life. Moreover, my posts share how “pretty go…

I disagree. The concept of “consent” is so poorly taught in schools, at home, and around peers. There is much more of a discussion over “having sex” and how important it is than there is a discussion of consent. There have been multiple cases of sexual assault claims where the accused make claims that the sex was of mutual consent. Moreover, when people read about these cases, there isn’t always a clear and agreed upon stance if it was sexual assault or not. Many people want to over simplify the…

Not true. This kind of is in the sentiment of the OP, of: Must. Have. Sex. Must. Sex. Must. Have. Some. Sex. Better. Than. No. Sex. It’s frankly a corrosive mindset that perpetuates toxic traits such as toxic masculinity. No sex is better than coercive sex. No sex is better than date rape. No sex is better than some sex because some sex is awful. I agree with the sentiment of valuing one’s worth with sex is terrible. However, I think great sex is worthy of praise. That being said, one shouldn’t …

Yeah, but “pretty good,” isn’t anything to brag about, strive to achieve again, or worthy to value in any high regard. Pretty good sex is equivalent to a self session. That’s just me though. Sex only becomes greater than a self session when you are connected to the other person and have some form of investment that comes from time. [+]

This post makes me think of that line by Ludacris, “Some say that sex is overrated, but they just ain’t doing it right.” That being said after reading the OP, I understand. I agree with the sentiment that we should not value ourselves based solely on sex, how often, how many partners, how good, etc. However, I must say, sex is amazing, one of the greatest things in the world, but not all sex is good. I appreciate this. To be honest, for me, personally, it’s the same thing, wording wise. I am on my own and I am alone are the same thing, to me. I appreciate the sentiment tho. No. People are saying that it isn’t a guarantee it will work. The proof is in the pudding both ways. The OP has experienced it working. Other people posting have experienced it not working for others. It’s just not a guarantee in certain places. That’s all we’re saying. No need to get upset. [+]

No it’s not, Homie. In LA, there’s a predominantly Hispanic population. The other collectives hear Spanish often and usually pick some up. Therefore, your “cheat code” is basic. Everyone does that here. It’s not impressive. It is definitely a good start but not a “cheat code” that guarantees you’ll leave with someone. You have to have rhythm. You have to be charming. You have to make a connection. You have to have good dance moves. I ain’t tryna diss. I’m just letting you know, your “cheat code”…

I feel you, but I’ve witnessed a dude who had no job, no car, no money, not in school, and not doing much except smoking weed all day with Homies who could afford to buy weed, I saw him date a woman who was 5 years older than him. She let him drive her, she paid for their dates, and again did not offer much. However, he swore he would be the next big thing in music. I’ve also seen people who are in school, have a job, are saving money, and keep busy with healthy hobbies, struggle to find a date.…

No. It actually is true. While I agree that confidence isn’t everything it is the most important aspect. I’ve known several guys who don’t have much going for them but they act like they are on their way to greatness and had a lot of women. I’ve known a lot of guys who had a lot going for them, school, work, transportation, hobbies, etc, but acted like they weren’t doing much, and hardly would attract any women. I have to agree on the mysterious label. I have been called mysterious by some women in my life, and I have also been laughed at by some women,!when I tell them that I have been called mysterious. It’s all relative. I have heard, “Mysterious? You? You are not mysterious. You’re just boring.” At the same time, I’ve heard, “[Uchiha], why are you so mysterious.” Again, relative. Therefore, you can’t bank on being “the mysterious one” because you can’t control how people will perceive your lack of d…

I’m sorry but this is adorable. You good homie. Don’t put pressure on yourself over such a superficial thing. I kissed a girl when I was 5 but it was a game and I didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t kiss another girl until I was 19 years old. Don’t put pressure on yourself and work on your “game” or charisma on the “unattractive girls” then when you find yourself next to a girl you are attracted to you’ll have more “game.” [+]

Maybe. I was still hung up on my ex and Blu was adamant that she didn’t want to get into a relationship because she didn’t want to get hurt. I didn’t want to hurt her. Again, I was hung up with my ex. I didn’t want to string her along. She was my type, but I just thought neither one of us was ready to move on. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe I was right. We decided to meet up. It was a lot of fun at the start. She is absolutely stunning to me. Blue was very much my type. However, at one point, she mentioned her ex. Yeah, that’s why women seem drawn to men who are in relationships because when you have a woman you’re more secure and definitely less needy. Thus, you look much more attractive. I’ve tried, but I can never replicate the level of carefreeness I have when I am spoken for. I honestly don’t care because I have someone. When I don’t have someone, I kind of want someone. Ahaha [+]
