It’s all hypothetical at the moment, I haven’t been on a date in over a decade!

I like my popcorn salty, just like the tears of incels.

Exactly, it’s “highly frowned upon” because it’s illegal.

TIL a new derogatory word! That’s the most fucked up logic I’ve ever heard. Having sex once with 100 men is exactly the same to your labia as having sex 100 times with one man. Is it caused by jealousy or ignorance?

Those changes won’t last, they are not sweet gestures they’re manipulation. He’s proven to you that he’s capable of doing what it takes to keep you, but only after you have told him to leave. He will go back to how he was behaving before if you allow him to stay. You need to woman up. Stay strong and kick him out, you know you deserve better than him.

Not all of the fish being caught are killed. The guys I know with those photos go lake fishing, which is catch and release. They’re showing you a photo of a fish suffocating before being returned to the water, only to be caught by someone else later. I don’t know which is worse tbh.

Mine asked me why I wouldn’t give him another chance after I left him, and then accused me of living in the past! Like, duh, all of those things happened in the past and that’s where they’re gonna stay.

Those are low value men and they aren’t even worth the steam off your piss.

You have to look after yourself first, nobody else is going to do it for you. Prioritising your own health shouldn’t be seen as seen as selfish imo, it should be normal! I am doing well now, thank you. It’s taken me 2.5 years to get to the point where I am starting to consider dating again. I recently discovered FDS and I think it will be a life changer. I hope you are also doing well in your life.

My future always includes a log cabin in the woods near a stream, always with my cats and sometimes a dog or two, but never with a man! If anyone tells me I’m too picky, I tell them I’m making up for lost time. I wasn’t picky enough in the past and I’ve suffered for it. I’m the most important person in my life now and that’s how it’s staying.

I don’t know why you’re getting down voted for sharing your experiences. I’ve had similar problems with women only groups when I didn’t fit in with their aesthetic, I thought this place was different though.

Yeah, I have no problem being called cold and unemotional by whinging scroats! I prefer to use the anger and turn it into something more positive to benefit my life.

That’s fair, but they just seemed polar opposites and they appeared on my feed quite close together.

I’m confused. I just read a post that talked about not showing a man you’re angry with him because it gains you nothing, and yet here’s a post celebrating Taylor Swift for writing a song where she’s doing exactly that. What am I missing here?

They might not be the exact same picture but they were taken very close together, with the same lighting and the pose has changed very little between photos. Tbh they both could have been edited, it’s just as easy to make someone look worse as it is to make them look better.

It definitely does. I was in a relationship for 8.5 years with a gaslighter and it takes it toll. It happened so gradually I didn’t see it coming until I felt trapped in the relationship and was unable to see a way out. It’s taken so long to get to the point where I can trust my intuition again, I still feel like I’m in recovery mode at times, even after 2.5 years on my own.

..... chew his food for him, wipe his arse for him, got to prison for him. Where do you draw the line sis? The only man worth doing any of that for, would do it for himself in the first place!

The first line is the lie. They say”not all men” to try and prove that they are different, but they know it’s a lie.

I wish I knew then what I know now, the last ten years of my life would have been totally different. I don’t know if I would be in such a great place now if I hadn’t been through such a shit show of a decade, so there’s something to be grateful for at least!

They probably weren’t crazy at all, they just seemed that way to him. My ex told me all about his crazy ex, and from his perspective she was crazy. Over the years he repeatedly tried to convince me that I was crazy, it almost worked and I did start to question my sanity occasionally. After I left him and learnt what gaslighting is it finally made sense! I’m probably made out to be the crazy ex to whoever will listen to his sob story now.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
