Then stay off OLD. You can walk around any busy center in a city and see attractive women with average looking men(by those OLD standards). Women aren't purely physical creatures, and you can 100% improve to look above average when the average is literally dressing decent and showering daily.

Yes, and she was used, and now she's lashing out. Look at post history. It's nothing but spite over a man she claimed used and manipulated her for months only to abandon her.

100%. Kids seriously have no gauge on how much a small action they had when they were 6 will affect them in the future. There was a girl I met who was a part of one of those family blogs. She said she still struggles to get a job, because when recruiters look her up, they see a ton of embarrassing stories of her that her mother posted. Seriously messed up to exploit kids for short term financial gains

Most don't, but you never hear about the "Nice, chill housewife" of your favorite NFL/NBA/Other player, because the media only reports on girls who make a big stir off the field(Patrick Mahomes wife is a perfect example, she got torn by the media for her behavior). The vast majority are women you'll never hear about. Obviously, when you have national media with eyes trained and laser focused on a group of a couple hundred to thousands, there's bound to be a few that stand out as especially bad.

I mean, your post history suggests you're just a bitter, sad person who can't move on even though that man was apparently just "so bad" for you that you're still posting about him 8 months after a breakup.

Start reporting the cases of women perpetrators who, by the CDC's own words, commit rape at the same rate as men(or as they call it "Forced to penetrate"). Bad people commit crimes. Difference is, women are, statistically speaking, significantly less likely to actually be held responsible for those crimes. https://www.nsvrc.org/sites/default/files/2021-04/NISVS_Report2010-a.pdf Here's a link to the 2010 national report, which states that women and men were both raped at similar rates, but women …

They never told me they wanted casual, they wore a mask and were a completely different person. This is someone who was nosying into my life even though I kept them at arms length, always wanted to know what I was doing, checking in on me — they clearly knew I was vulnerable. Then proceeded to court me for months on end, “missing puzzle piece” and all gassing up behaviour, making me think I was the one, as they would purposely show texts from other girls signifying they aren’t speaking to them a…

That's just flat out wrong. Sofia Vergara, Alina Baraz, Ana De Armas, Kim Kardashian. There are so many women who are older who look great. Brittany Renner got a reputation as someone you don't want to be around, but I can flat out guarantee there are multiple attractive, successful men that would absolutely date her. She's focused on raising her kid, but there are still plenty of dudes that would date her.

Even if I were to remove the equivalent of my ex out of this and speak on a more generalised note. If we circle back to hookup culture, “situationships” and all this common nonsense, grass is greener syndrome is very rampant in this generation. Therefore discard and moving on is so common, it’s also masked under; “avoidant” which is another common push. You do realize you don't need to go into these kinds of relationships, right? I mean, if a guy tells you he only wants casual, then you pushing …

Agree to a certain degree. Men absolutely should be more about men's rights nowadays, and I'm seeing more and more men be bitter about the whole market and how things have turned out for them. These aren't bad looking guys either, they were just in their 20s and now that they're doing even better in their 30s its flipped for them. Beating him over the head, by calling them autistic, weird, or anti-social, when the men no longer care because they feel unsupported in society will only push men fur…

They absolutely can be above average. Average looks are easy in the short term. Above average takes a lot longer. That's why women who are average generally have all the short term stuff down, but not the long term stuff. Men can easily go from below average to average in a month, but it'll take like, a year or two for either gender to go from average to above average, because what you need to do to get there takes a hell of a lot more effort.

I think nowadays due to how social media has riddled everyone’s brains (grass is greener syndrome, more accessibility like Tinder and love being so devalued like people seemingly forgotten the proper meaning of what it’s like to be in love or to love someone) this is why it’s harder to believe that it’s deeper than that, and that they’re coping; often imo they aren’t. I think that’s where the lines get blurry nowadays but a couple years ago it was likely to understand it was coping. Not everyone…

It actually becomes a lot easier when you're in a relationship as a man. When you're a man and you get into a relationship, all of a sudden it's like all the women who never paid any attention to you want to ruin things for you. Just can't see a man happy I guess.

It's a double standard. They often don't really want a "traditional wife", they want to exercise their spending power to have easy sex with women. It makes sense; if you have no success with women in the states(Seeing the UK a lot more), go somewhere you'll be appreciated. This comes with obvious downsides. There have been a lot of reports of men being drugged, robbed, and killed in places like the Philippines and Colombia. Most of these men simply cannot get sex in the west, so they go elsewher…

Putting themselves out there more. Most average men fail because they put themselves in the worst places. Apps, bars, and clubs are all places where people are generally the most on guard and only looking for looks. Meeting through friends or social settings that are more relaxed are generally all better indicators. The girl I'm currently seeing I met in a coffee shop, and she has literally told me she probably wouldn't have paid a ton of mind to me if I was on an app because I would've been fil…

I read that men get over a breakup quicker but then down the road actually process their feelings later. While women take longer initially but when they move on they are moved on. Sometimes, but generally it's just avoiding putting the work to reflect on why things ended. It's a defense mechanism. It happens for both genders. Rest of your post I fully agree with. OP is just a narcissist who sees women as sex objects that you can trade in when you get bored.

I don't know if that's really true. A lot of men and women use bounce backs as a way to avoid introspection. Basically, they say "Well, my last relationship ended poorly, but this one is going great, so it must be them!". Sure, there are men that didn't care and move on fast, just like how there are women who do the same, but generally both genders need an amount of time to actually process their own emotions. They aren't affected, and they found you diposable. They're with someone else immediat…

A 190 score suggests some error in the test. It's because you cannot use a universal test to understand IQ. The woman with the highest IQ(somewhere around 228) said the test is useless because, once you fall outside of a statistical range and push into outliers, the math doesn't make sense and you start to get extreme numbers that don't make sense, which makes perfect sense to me. Also, being good at math is not a great indicator of intelligence. PDE and SDE are math that are used in my workplac…

The biggest manifestation of men's self-worth being tied to sex-having is struggling men being told to self improve. And sure, what else could we tell them? And THAT'S my point. What else could we tell them. That's men's reality. Men can be in a position where you are "not good enough", however you wanna spin why, and many are. Women don't have a 1:1 equivalent to this, not to this degree, and their libido is different so they don't really get it. Although I do agree, in defense of women I have …

While that is true, the amount of single fathers making great money without a ton of options is really small. I work in an industry with a lot of highly paid men. They can get divorced tomorrow and be dating within a short amount of time. The fact of the matter is most of these men aren't really getting divorced because they don't have any reason to get divorced. Income is actually one of the biggest indicators of divorce, as men with higher incomes tend to be ambitious, driven, sociable, and ge…

Men think women are bad at sex too. A lot of the population sucks at sex. Difference is, men don't complain about it because then they wouldn't get it. If a woman tells a dude he sucks at sex, that won't mean he'll never do it again. Hell, he might even try to improve. You tell a woman she sucks at sex...good luck trying to get sex again.

It's just an example of "Grass is always greener". Men think women have it easier, women think men have it easier. You can probably pull 100 different statistical analysis's out to support either side. There's way more nuance to this than you're allowing.

I mean, you are right, but that example probably isn't the best one, because generally the percent of people that defend the woman in that instance is incredibly low. I went to a gym where a woman did this to another guy. She got perma banned from all gyms in the area after the TikTok went viral. Other women in the gym defended the dude, saying he was literally just looking around. Yeah, of course men are attracted to young women There are some things that will generally be attractive I said this in the original post. I didn't think it needed to be emphasized. Both genders are attracted to some sort of youth and health. That doesn't mean men don't also find older women attractive. Selma Hayek still looks incredible. Age isn't the only indicator. Women have more access to dating while young, so when a woman is young she gets attention and gets the world showering her in praise and attention and love. Men, meanwhile, get absolutely nothing in their 20s. You've gotta work for every inch. That lines up well with relationship status, rates of depression, loneliness, and reported lifetime regret. Men in their 20s have higher rates per 100,000 for being worse in all of those categories. However, once you look at the data for 30 year old's, it …

Because it's your gut telling you to "run away and never look back" because there's some trait the man has that your gut is trying to tell you about, and it's designed that way to make sure women don't get pregnant from a man who won't give the best possible offspring. She's mainly right because it puts you in a bad crowd of people. Generally, promiscuous people tend to group, and in that group you're more likely to have people who assault others. It sucks, but it is a fact of life that most women are not randomly assaulted, but rather by people they know.

How is that overriding any biological instinct? And what double standard are you talking about? The only one I can think of is the body count one, which is men listening to their instincts to procreate with more women, which men are hardwired to do, and women are hardwired to seek out men with higher body counts. Mate choice copying is a heavily studied topic.

That's just fundamentally untrue. I believe whoever has the most downtime should be the one doing most of the housework. If I have a project at work and my GF is at home, I expect most of the chores to be done. If I'm at home and my GF is working on something, then I'll get whatever needs to be done, done. You're projecting because you pick men who don't put effort into relationships with you and you want to blame the opposite gender.

That's so wrong it's comical. The number of domestic abuse cases police follow up with where the man is getting abused is in the single digits. If a woman says her husband is beating her, the first thing everyone says is to leave him. Vice versa is not true.

If you define equality as everyone doing exactly the same then it's obviously harder to achieve. That is the definition of equality I find it odd that you wouldn't want an equal partner. But then I define it differently. I do have equal partnership, but everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and to deny that a man who brings in twice the income is somehow not more important to the household is absurd. True 100% equality is near impossible, but women want equality in the stuff that benefits…

I never said I want equality. I was responding to you asking what equality is for men. I've never thought true equality would work. Both people have their strengths and weaknesses. I love to cook, so I do most of the cooking. I don't like to do deep cleaning of bathrooms, so my partner does them. If I see a chore needs to be done and I have free time, I do it. This whole 50/50 thing is just another way to attack men when women pick guys that never put effort in So you want less responsibility fo…

Let me ask you this. When you want to be a great basketball player, do you read books on how to be a great basketball player? Do you watch basketball games? No, you go out and play the damn game. What this guy is saying is that men need to wait to actually get skin in the game, when that's how you're meant to do it.

Those men aren't worth dating. If it's 50/50, that means 50/50 in everything. That means the man might plan for the first date, the woman has to play the second and so on. That means the woman has to approach men just as much. That means women have give as much emotional support as men often have to give. If a woman does all these things, then realistically she shouldn't ask, but should expect a man who does half the housework and childcare. Every time a woman has put in effort with me on the fr…

Men don't really have those instincts. They have the "she's hot, I'm horny, I want to have sex with her". That's about our upper limit on instincts. The rest has to be purely logical. Edit: I can't read. Point is wrong

Because Costco is cheap. I never said they were eating there, but they do go there like once a week to buy big things of chicken and crap to cook. If a mugger comes up and holds a gun to a couple, or a group of men start harassing us, it's almost always on the man to do something about it. When we say equality, we mean you either split everything 50/50, or you aren't equal. You split money 50/50(or however based on income). You split bills. You split responsibility. The thing that's tricky with abusive relationships is that the concept of "mutual abuse" is still widely debated. When two people in a relationship seem abusive, one of them is acting out through "reactive abuse." Generally, these are situations where I just think it best that both sides break off. I actually think men are pretty clear about what men want. First, men are much more varied in their preferences. Studies generally back up that men find a wider range of women attractive than women to men, so it's not really like every woman will be attractive to every man. I, for example, really am not attracted to blue eyes. It's something I've never been attracted to. Plenty of other men are attracted to it. So it's fairly difficult to say for looks. I've never seen a public speaker try to learn in inner depths of someone's personality and make a deep connection for 30 minutes straight. Public speakers aren't connecting to one person. They're connecting to an audience, which is generally very different than connecting to an individual.

It's very different. When in a group setting, you never go super deep into conversation with one person. Everything is either a debate or surface level. One-on-one is way more about getting to know the individual. It's a completely different ball game. It's like saying a person who's really good at basketball must be a great free point shooter, when we know that's false, because they're different skillsets that require different angles to work at.

It has to do with biology and anthropology. The part of the brain responsible for that "ick" is much larger and more active in the female brain than the male brain, while the part responsible for the logic part is much less. I think if someone is average and stops thinking about what they want and rather looks at what they can give, it makes it a lot easier to find people at your own level. I used to want want want, but I started thinking about what I could give, thought it wasn't much, and changed my own actions, and now…

No removing the patriarchy means also ridding men of the gender expectations. Otherwise you havent removed it and only some of it... You can remove societal expectations, but you can't remove biology without centuries of evolution. You know the whole "Ick" thing? Yeah, that happens because a man wasn't upholding the typical gender expectations.

In basically every sitcom over the last 2 decades there are examples of women shamelessly slapping men across the face played off for laughs. You can pull a lot of shows that display this. If I remember correctly, everybody hates chris started with Rochelle slapping Chris across the face. Now, imagine if Julius had slapped a woman. Or when in modern family Gloria slapped Jay for A DREAM. A DREAM. It was played off as comedy. That's not even mentioning celebrity situations. Remember when the whol…

Yes. You seem to have fallen into a trap where you think men are publicly with each other like women. What's actually odd, is that it is normalized in tv, movies and any media to berate men. Kinda unexplainable... as the "top" successful men are in charge of companies that own the channel television companies, the ones that own Instagram, Facebook, etc... These men do not care about the common man, because it is not only acceptable to berate men on national television, but it gets laughs. Men do…

Women have significantly easier access to relationships earlier in life so they're able to get a model of what a good relationship and a bad one is much earlier and easier than a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 05:22 PM

What does that even mean? Does that mean everyone has to always mind their mouth? Should a woman be shamed on the internet for calling a man short, or fat, or ugly, or poor? I don't see anyone going after these women.

That...that's not what an incel is, factually speaking. You don't need to dislike the opposite gender to be an incel. You just need to not get laid. These people were never informed that it takes an average of X rejections for a guy to find a GF. This is just not true at all. An attractive guy can approach 10 women and get the phone number of maybe 3(dependent on type, single, etc.) while an average or below average guy can approach 100 and get none. There is no "secret formula" it's just being …

I mean the fact that there are probably 20 videos for men to every 1 for women. Most women don't need pickup books or anything like that. Most women can literally just learn a skincare and makeup routine, not be overweight, and they'll find a BF
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 07:33 AM

I felt that way for a long time until I met my first partner in college. She made me feel a lot more comfortable in compliments and feeling mutually adored. It helps a lot to experience compliments and being able to give them in a way that isn't hostile. A lot of the issues around men being unable to express themselves sexually literally just comes from the lack of any sexual experience and, therefore, a lack of a real model on how to treat women. It's like asking a random guy to play basketball…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 07:09 AM

It would create less incels by...making the barriers to entry harder? Incel means involuntary celibate. By not going out into the dating world, you are becoming an incel(or I guess volcel would work here too)
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 07:05 AM

Right, but society never allowed for a middle ground. We were told from a very young age that any objectification is wrong. If a girl is wearing a nice dress, you CAN'T comment on it, otherwise you're a creep. Just forcing young men to be unable to express anything arguably leads to more of the "for fun" discussion, as people are unable to properly know how to respectfully talk about the other gender. Also, how do you want men to refer to women they'd only sleep with and not commit to?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:57 AM

I used to feel that way, and I know a lot of people who used to feel that way. It mainly comes from households where there was a lack of affection or real model of what a relationship should look like. I know 5 guys that at least used to be like this, and every single one of their parents are divorced without a new partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:54 AM

The difference is, when women have purity culture men still approach. When men have purity culture, women complain about not getting approached.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:53 AM

While I do agree that men need to put in more work, why are we not allowed to date until we've done a fucking CER on dating? Seriously, no one tells women "You need to watch these 5 videos on how to attract men or you're gonna die a virgin" but with a dude you say we need to "research the marketplace" like, what does that even mean? Do I need to go get peer reviewed research or something?

As I said from the beginning, it's not about who's hooking up with who, it's about treating people with the same standards. I treat every woman with the same standards and set of rules. If I find out a woman does not, I don't want to date her. Simple as that.

It's not about LTR and when you sleep with them in an LTR. That's different. What I'm speaking about is making a guy wait because he's "boyfriend material" while allowing other men easy hookups. I've never slept with a woman on the first or second date, and never done a hookup. They don't align with my values of wanting a long term partner who doesn't aspire to hookup culture. They can be intense, This is definitely not true. The whole "spicy Latina" thing is a stereotype that only comes from the fact that American men don't understand the cultural differences. Also, Latin America spans hundreds of different cultures and has a little under double the population of the US. It's such a broad spanning continent. Some cultures are way more "spicy" than others. Oh, yeah, I agree with your point. For a lot of older women it's the thrill of it all. A lot of younger men are more horny and less experienced. For them, it's like getting to "show them the ropes" if that makes sense. It's just that older women are told by society that being outward with sex is a bad thing, so they aren't as vocal. You rarely see it publicly because it's kinda taboo in society, which does also add a bit of fun to it all.

Yeah but those men are rare and the ones that exist don’t want the kind of partnerships women want. Not necessarily. When you're in your 30s and 40s income peaks. That's more attractive than a man coming out of college that can't afford a lot. I haven't heard of many women who actively seek to date younger men past sex, because women just prefer a lot of the traits of older men. While I do agree that over-promiscuity is a serious modern problem, a lot of these things are just because of a minority of the population. That's also online dating, where all you can really go by is looks. A lot of guys become a lot more attractive in person. Women literally say "A guy who can make me laugh" because it's genetically hardwired into their brains to like that. How can you make a girl laugh in a photo on a dating profile?

Women are bad at dating advice because their emotional, subconscious brain has a lot more control than they like to admit. We, as humans, cannot control how we feel. We can only react to those emotions. According to research, men feel less emotions and generally have much more of their thinking grounded in the very logical, conscious part of the brain. This is why, when a woman tells us problems to vent, we're trying to come up with solutions. We don't really think with the subconscious part of …

I agree, solely because people are more scared of a Trump presidency again than people think. In 2020, Trump won 94% of the Republican vote, with Biden winning the same amount for Dems. That's just fundamentally false. First, I've been approached probably 20 odd times by women. It happens, but only when you look good. It took years of time to get there. Second, if you never get the "fuck me" eyes from women, you might just not be very attractive

This is the fundamental problem. Women make the first move...by looking in your general direction. Choosing signals are a real thing. If a girl isn't staring you down or giving you some sort of "Please please please approach me" signals, you have basically no chance. Guys will just approach anyone, rather than the people who directly want to be approached. Do I think it's dumb, for these stupid little games to be played? Yes, but dating is a stupid little game.

Not once did I say it's not important. No one is obligated to do what they don't want to do. If I walk away because a woman won't have sex with me, I get called a pig and someone who's just interested in sex. Then for a lot of man that's a deal breaker, just like how women exclude men for being obese, ugly, short, broke, etc. Why is it such a hard thing to imagine a man would have standards past purely personality? It's unrealistic to say looks play no part, because they do, for both genders. For some people looks matter less, while for others they matter more. It really depends a lot on context and the individual.

Do you keep trying to sell the bad product? No, you fix based on feedback. You sell to people who are more likely to buy. In startups, they teach that, initially, maybe 2% of people will want your product, and it's your job to find those 2% and develop the best product possible. What this means in datin…

I've never done a hookup. Usually for me it's a red flag when a woman wants a hookup. That's telling me that she values sex very low in a relationship, and doesn't see it as an intimate act between 2 partners. I wouldn't hook up with someone until the 3rd date, which is usually when I decide if someone is a person I'd be willing to see long term or if it's better to cut losses and move on. Also, it reduces the risk of STDs, unwanted pregnancies with strangers, and putting your dick in crazy. Had…

As a man with ADHD and PTSD, yeah. The dating market is so skewed that, as a man, you basically have to be perfect to even have a chance in many instances. That said, I try to use it to my strength. Some women love the fact that I can ramble on about random topics for hours because they once became hyper fixations. I've oriented my career around what my ADHD is best for, and that has allowed me to excel in my craft and make a hell of a lot of money. We, as men, can never look at our own deficien…

I'd argue it has more to do with the unexpectedness than anything. If a girl smiles at you or gives you solid eye contact, it means she sees you and is likely open to a conversation. A lot of guys will see a girl and just straight walk up, catching a girl off guard. It happened to me. I was just standing in line to get food and a random girl walked up and just asked for my IG. It was a bit startling, and I didn't really know how to react. That girl was at least 5 inches shorter than me and I had…

TBF uggos that are rich tend to get to date hotter women, but at the same time do you really think those women would date those men if they didn't have money? Money should be a bonus to an already loving and trusting relationship, not the base of it.

There isn't a lot of evidence to suggest that. There are theories that women cheat due to emotional reasons vs men due physical, but it's all theory. There hasn't been any major peer reviewed studies to show either effect, and all we have is theory. End of the day, you are inherently selfish if you cheat.

When did I say not seeing obese people was a plus? I said not needing to do cardio and living in a walkable area is a plus, and lower obesity rates are a result. Also, why call NYC a shithole and great in the same post.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 09:12 PM
8

I've actually found that most of the people who I know who've cheated literally don't give any thought to what their partner would do if they found out, which is the problem. If they thought about what their partner wanted, then they wouldn't cheat, but they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 09:10 PM
38

I believe it was something like 56% of people who cheat say they are in a happy relationship. Basically, they're hedonistic and think about the short term gain without ever thinking of the long term consequences. They literally don't even think about their partner, which is the problem. They're inherently being selfish by cheating, and they really want to fuck their cake and eat it.

I think they're thinking the money and status boosts SBF more, but they're kinda just disregarding how their relationship started when Alameda was barely a thing yet, so SBF had very little money or status. It's also pretty hard to convince someone to commit multiple felonies for you, so I don't think SBF was exactly eager to get rid of someone who knew he had committed a LOT of crimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 09:06 PM
4

The "commitment less attractive" typically only happens when a girl theoretically hits "the wall". Vast majority of women I know who got with and settled in their mid to late 20s have husbands that are pretty much perfectly aligned with their wives. The few 35+ women I've met looking to settle have to get a bit less picky, but it's usually a result of not taking care of health or body in your 20s that leads to the whole "wall" concept(which I don't even know is a real thing or not)

I never have to do cardio because I can walk everywhere. It's really rare to see morbidly obese people in Manhattan because you literally walk everywhere. That's one of the biggest issues. Car culture has made it so people walk less, and that means way more people are obese

Idk why you wouldn't do the ancestry test instead of a paternity test. It gives way more plausible deniability and is actually pretty cool. I never even mentioned cheating. I said randomly divorce. That's not a random divorce reason. I consider a random divorce to mean both sides know it's not working and end up deciding it. Also, why only call out men, when women also cheat for reasons at similar rates of justification
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 06:09 AM

That's still a 75% more likely chance to have a father figure, and that's of the already half of the population that gets divorced, so if you have children in a 2 parent household there's just a 12.5% chance of abandonment. Also, there is absolutely NO ONE supported men abandoning their children. Like none. Everyone calls out parents for abandoning children, for both genders. That isn't even close to the point being made here; using a fallacy to back up a point just makes your argument weaker.

It has to be both. Sexually compatible is really important in the start, and it can really help a relationship. How do you know she just doesn't wear her ring everywhere? Hell, I don't even think homeless people would spend the money filing for marriage. Second, if you think someone is "the one", get married. It's just not really right to knowingly deprive a child of a father figure in their life. 2 parent households are one of the key indicators of life success and fulfillment. A lot of young men nowadays are lost because they lacked a strong male figure, a lot of young women are unable to properly assess men because they have "daddy issues" due to a lack of proper role modeling of how a man should treat a woman, and both genders have issues with what a good relationship looks like without 2 parents…

It's also worth saying that most of these men will be much better off in their 30s, when, unfortunately, these women realize they can't break the laws of supply and demand, and need to find someone to settle down with. It really does suck for a lot of guys in their 20s, because they're basically told "wait your turn" by society, and they're just expected to be okay with that while women and the top…

There is more PUBLIC support for women. I've never heard someone talk more shit than a woman about another woman behind closed doors. Women all say what will get them put at the top publicly, and speak harshly privately. Men are somewhat the other way around. If a guy talks crap about you to your face, it likely means he respects you and will defend you if someone attacks you privately.

That's only partly true. Women are more valued on average by average men. Above average to top men are probably in the best position they've ever been in. Previously, a huge chunk of the dating market was married, so these top men wouldn't get nearly as much attention or benefits. Now, with more single women(and more access to these women) top men are having a hell of a time, and everyone else is losing for it. The top 20% of men are probably valuing women the least out of any point in history, …

That's fair. I've heard of a few people that I knew from college who ran into relationship problems because the pure amount of partners they had made their partners insecure.

No one wants to be someone's plan B. It's the worst feeling in the world when you know that you're only getting attention because you have something that you didn't use to have. Ultimately, if young women aren't looking out for themselves and finding a life partner, then they will likely face a harder dating pool as they age(unless they have those Hollywood genetics, then they're probably fine)

I'd actually have to disagree. Men almost have a strong drop off curve for women, like a heavily positive skewed curve, while women rate men on much more of a strong bell curve. It's just seen as more acceptable for men to have 50+ bodies than women. I'm not saying that is the way it should be, as the risks of STDs, pregnancy, and general mental health problems down the line(anyone who's done hookups/casual for long enough knows that eventually it becomes empty and meaningless) are always really…

It's almost comical that women complain about the double standard of men wanting low body counts but not being expected to have low body counts when they actively go after guys with more experience.

One reason I always see left out is resentment towards older women. One of my friends is now 33, dating a 24 year old. He was never someone women looked at when he was in his 20s, even though he worked on himself and did a lot of things you're meant to do. Now that he has a very good job(VP at a bank) and has grown fully into his features, all of a sudden the women who never wanted to date him(a lot of which he had previously asked out/shown interest in) all of a sudden want him. He literally to…

Though, IME, it's heavily dependent on the sub culture, and what has happened to the person. But generally I think he's right, terrible things happening to white middle class people makes headlines (in the west), but the kind of terrible things that happen in low income ares is generally never mentioned on the news. It's because middle class white people getting killed is considered "Out of the ordinary" everyone expects there to be dead bodies in the southside chicago, but no one expects it in …

A poor hardworking single mom getting raped doesn't garner the same sympathy as a pretty suburban housewife getting raped. Similarly an academically excellent student getting murdered more sympathy than an average student who got murdered. This is pretty extreme, and it usually just has to do with circumstances and media. Who watches television the most? A lot of housewives and people with disposable income. That means the media attention is pointed there, because it hits with the core demograph…

No, that's not true at all. Most of the cases of mass rape and assault during wars are because higher command actively encourage scorched earth policy. They indoctrinate soldiers into thinking that the enemy is not human, and that rape, murder, and all other crimes are necessary to win the war.

Women have it hammered into their heads from a young age that you don't do anything alone with a guy without at least knowing them first. What can be even sadder is that most assault cases are from people you know. As a man, I know our SA and rape doesn't get talked about nearly enough, even though the CDC literally stated in the 2010-2012 study that men get forced at similar rates but less reported, but it still has never felt like I was at the will of a woman or like I couldn't use my strength…

War is particularly bad. A lot of rape and assault in wars is not about the act, but rather the "revenge" on the enemy. Rape is really bad in instances of terrible wars that seep down the ranks. Just take one look at the accounts of how women were treated by western soldiers vs soviet soldiers during WW2.

It's completely messed up that women genuinely have to fear walking around in public. I really didn't understand how bad it was until I was with a group of girls who said that the number one reason they won't go on a date with a guy is fear of being assaulted. Even if it's just a minority of the population that does anything like this, it ruins things for everyone else.

Tiktok doesn't show videos of people talking about their great experiences splitting the bill with a guy in their league where they're planning another casual date. It only shows the extremes. This is why a big red flag is someone who spends hours of their day on SM

It really does make dating so much harder for men. I have a friend who asked a girl out, took her out, paid for everything, kept the conversation going, brought her home, and didn't even get a thanks, or a "this was nice, why don't we do it again" or a hug, or literally any appreciation at all. Man just felt so unwanted and unseen. It sucks so bad to bend over backwards when a girl could literally make a guys day by doing something so small to make them feel wanted.

Often, I find the "we should hang out" line is used as a nice "this was okay, but I really am not interested in talking again". If a person said we should hang out, and didn't do anything more to get the number or make any plans, I'd just assume that they were saying it out of courtesy rather than actual interest in doing something.
