I don’t think he’s gay, but possibly trans. It doesn’t sound like he’s attracted to men as much as his fantasy of what being a woman is like.

It’s not petty to have a preference, you can’t help that. But by the same logic, he can’t help who he is either and you aren’t going to change him. He deserves to be with someone who accepts him for who he is, not someone settling bc she thinks she can’t find better.

Why are they all about sex? This reads like a kink or fetish thing, not Biblical at all.

Right, the “9-5 prison” thing made me roll my eyes a bit. Nothing is stopping you from dropping out and living under a bridge if you want total freedom. With the crappy job market and AI about to replace so many positions, today’s college students should feel lucky if they score a full-time white collar job with benefits.

I know several families who make it work, but both parties are capable & competent in their roles. This isn’t the case here. She’d grow to resent him quickly, stop respecting him as a man and see him as a dependent. And nothing kills marriages quicker than resentment.

Men bring many different individual values to a relationship, and some bring little to no value. It’s your job to vet them accordingly. Personally I’d be honest, and tell him he doesn’t have the homemaking skills to be a stay-at-home dad and that option is off the table until something changes. Don’t solve the problem for him, just identify it. That gives him the chance to either improve his skills, show you different skills, or show you he has no ambition to improve his skills and will be dead …

Exactly! Does right or wrong even matter when you’re miserable and surrounded by mice & roaches bc your abusive manchild boyfriend won’t clean up after himself? It’s wild how much chaos people will tolerate just to say they have a man. I’d rather die alone under a bridge.

Oh please. Dump him already. This man brings nothing to the table and you should have enough maturity by age 42 to recognize when you’re wasting your own time.

Being attracted to someone = \ = getting obsessive and crashing out

So you’re validating your behavior even though it isn’t getting you any positive results? Ok, good luck on the husband hunt!

No offense, but have you asked yourself if you’re marriage material? Because there are some red flags here, including the extreme pickiness, crash outs, choosing men off looks alone, and “literally getting obsessed” with random strangers off Hinge. I think you’re scaring these guys away, and you need to do some work on yourself so that when Mr. Right does come along, you’re the best version of you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
