As a fellow bi woman, why would you choose to date men? 😅 There’s so much male garbage out there and so many HVW. Just my personal opinion, but I’d avoid men. I know plenty of straight women who lament to me about wishing they could be gay. That being said I’m not closed off to the idea of meeting a HVM. I’m just realistic about the probability. I’m very cautious and alert to the behaviors of men I allow into my life. They tell on themselves quickly and early if you’re paying attention- good or …

I think his grandmother’s ring sounds lovely as an anniversary gift. But personally I would want a ring that represents the bond with my partner.

I’ve said “I think I’m about an 8 or 9 out of 10 on the hotness scale. What do you think?” Most men make a joke about me being so confident in my assessment. Some say I’m 11/10. One man said “I don’t like to think of women like that.” “Like what?” I asked. “Like a piece of meat being graded for consumption.” I’m not sure this is a good thing to say to test for red flags, though. I don’t do it anymore because it doesn’t feel right to put down other women just to gauge a man’s reaction. Kinda in t…

Yessss go off about the girth! I don’t see why men are obsessed with length. Sure I’m not trying to work with a chode, but I’ve had snake peen and that’s not fun either. Lemme see you calculate that volume! Get that π 3.14 times radius squared times height formula up in your OLD bio! Let us know what we’re workin with.

I’ve gamed off and on over the years and out of the hundreds of dudes I played with and got to know, only 3 stand out as being capable of moderation and prioritizing their family above the games. I don’t know what it is but some hobbies tend to attract a certain type of person. Then the culture of that hobby shapes them further. Haven’t dated a male gamer in over 5 years and honestly no regrets. Don’t do it ladies, it’s not worth it.

Congrats. I know some boomer women who are feminists but that wasn’t the point I was making. NoT aLL BoOmErS. The idea of garments inviting men to rape likely came from hundreds of years ago. Powerless women who were treated no better than livestock had to raise the next generation of women to be strong and to stay safe within their means. They probably thought it would keep their daughters safe to tell them to do everything they could to not draw men’s eyes. Because men weren’t held accountable…

I heard a scrote talking about how he thought burkas were sexy because they left so much to the imagination that he couldn’t stop thinking about them being completely naked beneath them. Then he mentioned a porn subreddit featuring women in burkas.

I know a few boomer women who say this stuff today. I attribute it to the times back then and their laziness to not want to think for themselves today. Their mothers didn’t have rights so they taught them what they believed could help keep them safe in a man’s world. That doesn’t give boomer women a pass. We should all continually question status quo. I have no idea why gen x or younger woman would believe such filth today.

Yes, OP talk to your gyno. They can at least put you on a birth control commonly used for endometriosis to see if it helps. Mine put me on Heather and I will start hormone shots soon to reduce the growth of endometrial tissue. Bye bye painful periods.

Some men have told me that they feel an immense societal pressure to provide and they think men crack under the pressure. I’m not even going to get into all the ridiculous standards and expectations for women… Yet we don’t crack under the pressure and become dead beats anywhere near to the extent that men do.

In my experience this doesn’t always work. They want to poke holes in every excuse. “Well what about in vitro?” No! My cousin spent almost $100k and it didn’t work for her. Why would anyone casually suggest I gamble half the cost of my home?

Huh. I never considered the simping and hierarchical thing. This explains why some men give other men shit for “simping for women.” They’re supposed to simp for other men. For men above them in status. To simp for any woman is beneath them since they see all women as lesser than men. This explains so much male behavior I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing :)

Huh. I never considered it like that. Men probably invented gaslighting because it didn’t matter what a woman would say, society would believe the man. We’re only 1-2 generations removed from having rights equal to men. My mother was a teenager when it became legal for women to open their own checking account. She was in her 30s when marital rape became illegal. Men are angry that we don’t have to listen to them anymore when they spin their bullshit stories. They don’t have leverage but what we …

Dang this is such a good point. And silence is still an answer. When I’ve asked exes why this or why that and they just stared at me. They were giving me an answer. They didn’t feel like they owed me even that much.

Truth. LVM don’t know anything but projection. Nearly everything negative coming out of their mouth is just projection. If he comments on one of your features, guarantee he’s insecure about at least one of his features. If I was projecting and someone called me out, it would blow my mind. But they’re so disconnected from their own emotions that they’d dismiss it immediately.

Oh for sure! I’ve talked to my therapist about this extensively in the past year. I wondered if I was letting myself go. For me personally, I decided that I was letting myself be comfortable because I really didn’t enjoy all that girly stuff. That I was just doing it because I’d been programmed by the patriarchy. It was exhausting keeping up these standards for myself when it wasn’t making me happy. And that’s the key. Every act of self care should feel good and our motivation should be for the …

Also the scented products like perfumes and lotions. The razors or wax appointments. So why can’t ThE LoGiCaL SeX see this answer because it’s so obviously logical? They pretend to be so much when they want in your pants so why can’t they pretend to care in order to get laid? Obviously I don’t want that, I just don’t see why they aren’t doing it. How is it any easier to go to a dead bedroom subreddit and complain and be miserable than to romance your wife? And do a chore. The bar is on the floor. They don’t even have to do half the chores to get some women excited.

This is such a good point. Whenever I’ve tried to explain something I’m experiencing to a man, I have to rephrase it in a way that he can see benefit for himself. Why do they not want to do selfless things for others? Like giving us an orgasm because they want to see us enjoy ourselves. It always has to be about Muh Penis. I’m glad we have a male ally, Jonathan McIntosh, who’s breaking down these sexist tropes in film. Many films play this out ad nauseam and it never sat well with me, but I couldn’t find the words to describe my disgust like he has. But then they’ll say “yeah but you’re probably ugly.” Because pickmes and most men believe our true value lies in our looks. So no matter what you attain in life, it will never be enough because of your looks. Which can I just point out is absurd for the sex workers to say? Them calling other women frumpy is bizarre. I was told this never got off the ground out of fear of women using the devices maliciously. Never mind the fact that this would easily help us find rapists. It’s a weak excuse. We could license them like we do with firearms so that the purchaser was easy to track down. This would make it hard for the rapist to claim he thought it was just a pocket pussy when arriving at the hospital.

Decided to go for a run on the track at the middle school a few months back. Kids weren’t in school and it was the middle of the day so it should be empty. God YES!! Another thing I’ve been thinking about. How I’ve been raised and basically groomed by our society to give up every part of myself for others. Don’t set yourself on fire to warm others. I read that on here somewhere and it’s been a mantra for me at times. I’ve been thinking about how I know more women wrestling with burnout than men. Sadly I don’t think his view is abnormal. I suspect this is a byproduct of porn usage. When men see these “perfect” women all the time, they’re going to think their SO is the odd one out. Just because she’s a natural woman without makeup on her ass and stomach and doesn’t have hollywood lighting to hide cellulite. I don’t want to take the blame off this guy in any way. Oof. Guilty. Remnants of pickme days. We have a habit of humbling ourselves in all things. I read an interview with him a while back. He said he can’t respect and date a woman without her own career. If he ever married he wanted someone who worked. But then he also said that he wanted her to be able to travel with him as he worked. I am so sick of men that want women to have a career but always drop it to prioritize the man. Lmao flashback to me dating a NVM for a couple months and he invites me to his place for dinner. I see a picture on the wall of him and a young woman. After I ask who that was he proceeds to gaslight me. “I swear I told you about her on our first date. No I definitely did. You must have forgotten.” Bye 👋

Ugh gross! I used to ask them on the first date their thoughts on getting married. If they squirmed I knew it would never happen. Best response I got was the guy said “What like right now? Alright well I guess we should tell the parents.” He called his mom to say he was getting married! LOL! So it’s not fool-proof but it might help weed some losers out.

Years ago I put in my dating profile that I loved watching period dramas. The sheer number of responses I got referencing this was disappointing. Everything from “sounds messy” to “isn’t every period drama for you?” So if you haven’t given up on OLD yet, this is a good filtration statement.

I have a theory these women don’t exist. They know men will love what they say and favorite their video. They know women will get pissed and leave tons of comments. This gets their video on more FYP which just explodes the watched count. Then they collect a paycheck from TikTok. Haven’t figured out how they sleep at night though.

This is a good point and an issue I’m currently facing at work. Women who further drive sexist roles while simultaneously being in positions of power afforded to them by feminists who paved their way. The epitome of pickmes is scary because they’re not brainwashed. They intentionally further the divide and for the life of me I will never understand why. Like girl get a therapist. Damn.

This is so obvious now and I feel silly for not seeing it sooner. They’re terrified of being alone and responsible for themselves at 40. Meanwhile most 40 something women I know are very successful in their careers. My mother told me that when men are young they want a whore. When they’re middle aged they want a housekeeper. When they’re old they want a nurse. At 40 they want all of the above.

Oh yeah for sure! We should continually recommend the handbook because that think is gold. But in the context of this post, when someone has a bad experience and posts about it, they shouldn’t get snarky comments telling them to read the handbook. This is what I’ve witnessed and I hope it doesn’t scare any newbie women off. I understand that tone is difficult to assess in text. Occasionally the passive aggressiveness is unmistakable. This whole conversation is a good example of why I feel uncomfortable posting sometimes. I feel like I have to tip-toe in this sub because some women are super aggressive and looking for a fight. We shouldn’t fight each other. We’re supposed to support each other! If someone respectfully proposes an alternative viewpoint, we should politely disagree and work to educate each other. And in the end we might not change each other’s minds and that’s okay too. The priority should be to be supportive b…

This gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their maturity by saying “That’s so interesting! How long have you been doing that?” A LVM will immediately make a sexual comment. But if it’s in your profile, they might be specifically contacting you “to see what them hips do.”

I absolutely will say this in the future, thank you. The men I work with are so toxic. I hate when they try and elevate the situation when I stand up for myself, though. “Calm down! Woah. For myself (a woman) and the majority of my friends, the g-spot exists as is described by Wikipedia. But for 2 of my friends it does nothing. It seems like hyper sexual men use sex as an outlet for their emotions. Because they won’t deal with their myriad of emotions, it comes out in the bedroom. Since that doesn’t actually solve their mental problems, they keep chasing that dopamine to distract them so they never have to address what’s really going on.

I wish I was more clever and I could reply with something witty to make them realize the absurdity of telling another person to smile for no reason. I read that it doesn’t exist as an actual piece of anatomy. It’s a concentration of nerves. Most women tend to have this concentration on the other side of the clit. But the clitoris as an organ is very large with only a small portion being external. So theoretically the concentration of nerves that creates a g-spot could be on the other side of the vagina. As a non-scientist, I can only speculate this is why some women get off in certain positions easily while it does nothing for others.
