I guess that wasn’t clear with your typo. Too bad. I wished it was me.

I thought the brotherhood was intensely close lol. I don’t think anyone claims they’re less close btw. It’s definitely not what I observe. Maybe there are differences in how you talk about vulnerability and insecurities and shame. Maybe it’s a stereotype but it seems like women tend to speak more about these things, probably because their gender role allows more room for vulnerability without facing ridicule.

I get that. But there’s a difference between caring on a socially involved level and caring in letting it get to you. I can’t say for you which one you are. I’m not saying either is wrong.

It’s not that women aren’t interested in sex with men. They clearly are. But from the female PoV it’s very easy to feel reduced to your body only. Especially when many men start to talk about high and low value women, slut shaming about body counts… And the ones who aren’t like that are so desperate for affection they scream “oh I’m not asking for much and I still don’t have success, I’m nice, why are women so mean”, giving women the impression it’s not at all about who they are as a person, jus…

Ah another one who thinks he can read my inside through my playful tone that gets misread. Oh the detriments of being a neurodivergent woman. You are all so sexually frustrated on this sub you have got collective tunnel vision. But hey prejudice can be a great appetiser for building up sexual tension. Or so I was conditioned to believe watching Jane Austen movies. Are you quite the Mr Darcy? Bit moody? Bottled up male pain? So charming!

> And especially those who are inclined to disagree with me, they want sex the most. They want it so much, so badly, they need the big mental walls, mental blocks to repress them. That’s how wild they are inside. Maybe men these days are too repressed from not getting laid enough. Wanting to sing so badly about sex but holding themselves back lol. Also I do honestly think since MeToo maybe there’s a collective sense of “let’s tone it down”.

Ah yes. I’m soooo wired to lie, lie and entice you and make your head spin and your dick crazy. I’m the whore until I pledge my devotion to you and no other man, only then I shall be Madonna.

> And the way of looking at it, through the lens of some coddled journos and activist academics, is never the right one. It’s part of my personal hygiene to not play moral binary games. Right and wrong as a dichotomy are constructs, they’re not real. It derives from religion. Reality is to be cringe 50 shades of grey. > The obvious irony is that their framings, the ones which never consider men valid in their own right, but always put the frame somewhere between "Dysfunctional work-in-progress" …

Just wat he says I can’t say it any better. We’re all wired to want sex. We sneakily make dirty associations with very mundane things and then feel a wave of shame “gosh why am I so gross”. And especially those who are inclined to disagree with me, they want sex the most. They want it so much, so badly, they need the big mental walls, mental blocks to repress them. That’s how wild they are inside. But the sex itself is more about power. About control and surrender. About breaking those walls dow…

So you can read my mind too now and read that I’m lying? You should get your own magician’s show! It’s amazing!

Hahah I get so much criticism for my comment lol. Just because I pointed out there’s several angles to look at something, not even making a claim myself.

I never said I think women don’t care about other women’s mental health. I just said everything is about perception.

> people are typically more obsessed with women's well-being Could be, could be not. It’s a perception you have.

I can say that and I did. I’m not claiming that what I said was correct or truthful. I’m just saying that whatever you read, you read through the coloured lens of your own trauma and shame. That’s the only point I made. Several ways to look at something. I’m not the one here claiming “this is the correct interpretation” you all claim that. I don’t think it’s very wise to claim you know exactly how something is intended.

Or people are more concerned about men’s mental health and wish for them to have a great support network and they care less for those things with women 😉 always several ways to look at something

Maybe he meant 2004 since that’s when bell hooks wrote The Will To Change.
