Oh trust me I know. Mentally, I'm lightyears beyond where I was. I was diagnosed with ADHD last year, which explained a lot of my hurdles in life, and I'm still trying to figure that out. To be honest, where I'm at in life, women are the least of my concerns. Keep my job, excel in school, pursue my passions. And so far, so good. Honestly, the hardest part is that I just... forget to do things I want to do. Even medication doesn't help. I started meditating. Went solid for a week. Forgot to one d…

Interesting. A good friend of mine is an accountant and had to take high-level statistics classes.

I want you to consider that you're contemplating risking your health because of the attraction of women.

Stop. Just stop. Okay, I know this is hard to hear, but if you keep pushing, you'll just be making a clown out of yourself.

I should've probably said *just the food but oh well, I've made my bed. I don't disagree with you, anyway.

I'll probably have to fix and expand on this tonight when I get home, but I'll start. I found TRP at 19 when my girlfriend and best friend of 10 years decided to fuck a raggedy ass human being in our apartment, on my couch that I paid for. Since then, I've gone through phases of introspection, self-improvement, relapse, repeat ad infinitum. I'll be honest, I've taken a lot from the community but I'm not in the top 10% of men. I'm overweight, I don't take care of myself like I should, and I dont …

You're right, but it's a subreddit that owes its entire existence to women, so what do you expect?

I don't think it's the food, it's the mindset. Taking control of your life. Your decisions are your decisions and as men (or even women, if they can get themselves to see it) progress is the greatest drug imaginable. A finished project, or even noticeable progress, feels better than any alcohol or drug you can find.

You're putting too many fucks into the situation. Just back off, pursue your life, and if she shows up, she shows up. Don't center your life around someone else or you'll end up hating it.

Okay so, you need to ask yourself, "What do I want to do?" And be honest with yourself. Do you want money? Chances are, PoliSci is not the route for you. Might you get lucky? Yeah. But chances are, you'll waste your money and end up at DQ. So what might interest you? We'll always need Engineers. Always. Aerospace is taking off in the next several decades and now is the time to get your foot in the door. Electrical Engineers should always be able to find a job, our world runs on electricity. Comp…

On one hand, you're right, this is a grab for attention. On the other hand, as much as many RedPillers like to espouse the idea that women aren't human, that's literally false. This girl's father died, and she's probably hurting. Showing compassion and being a kind human being =/= feeding her craving for attention.

Dude. Being a compassionate human being isn't blue-pill or beta unless you're doing it with the expectation of a reward. Which means you're not compassionate, you're an asshole.

What is your definition of fascism? Because, let's face it, there's no such thing as purity in this ln world, especially when you're discussing politics. Even Russia has elements of capitalism. I call myself a progressive for simplicity's sake, but I'm center-left for all intents and purposes. Back to fascism. Let's look at some of defining traits: -Nationalism. Heavily evidenced by the anti-immigration mentality of today's right-leaning citizens. Not damning in and of itself, but let's continue…

You should first understand that these problems are inherently your fault for failing to command, but secondarily that you likely were never taught masculine values that would guide you in command. You got a dog and you never trained it because you were told that you and the dog were equals I do not like this mindset at all. You're both adults, and you're both equal. It was her responsibility to be an adult and she chose not to. No matter what you do, or could have done, you can't make choices f…

Yeah I saw that when it was posted. I'll be honest, when I first saw that my inclination was that most of it is bullshit. You have to be socially aware enough to figure out if any of it applies to your situation, anyway. You want to be noticed? You need to be different. But that doesn't mean you'll be noticed in a good way.

You're over thinking this. I've never been to NYC but if it's like any other city, you and everyone on the street have somewhere to be. You're walking to your destination, and so are they. And right now it's fucking freezing so nobody wants to be out there more than they have to. If you want a woman to notice you in any substantial way, the hustle from Point A to B isn't the place to do it.

He sounds absurdly insecure to me. The need to irritate someone else just to bolster his own confidence reeks of it. You know how you look at someone that just said something stupid? Eyebrows raised, the "did you really just say that?" face. Do that. Because he's made it clear that he's a child, so you go ahead and treat him like one.

Do stuff. Seriously. Just find something you enjoy that doesn't involve trying to get laid. Go to the gym, learn to blacksmith, knit a quilt. We attach so much worth to the opposite sex because we have nothing else to attach it to, and that applies to men and women both.

In what situations? There's not much that can be said to help you without some background. How old are you? Are you tall? Short? Fat? Skinny?

The average redpiller doesn't understand nuance and find it easier to ignore other causes that don't fit the narrative. I support TRP at its core (men helping men be stronger and better), but it's become a bastion for the angry, the "disillusioned", and the political right. People today are weak, not just men, and so a good many of the posters/commenters here are trying to use the tools they're given on the sub to build a facade around themselves rather than rebuild themselves. Thus, they look i…

There was no major blue pill society ever before Marx and his virus spread Really? I've seen this sub repeatedly cite one of the causes for the fall of Rome being social decline. Hard times->Strong men->Easy times->Weak men->Hard times

This shit pisses me off. Marxism has had a massive impact on the modern world, and to pretend otherwise is blatant ignorance. Karl Marx was, like you and me, and imperfect individual. A man. And his views on life were the result of his experiences in life. Just like you and me. So, yeah. Read Karl Marx. Understand why he was how he was. Understand the pros and cons of his views. No system of government is perfect. Socialism hurts itself. Capitalism hurts itself. Libertarianism hurts itself. They…

Don't let your career define you, brother. It's an important mindset that I've spent a lot of time trying to help others around me understand. Your career gives you money. Money gives you options. No, programming isn't a exactly a glorious job, but it's typically well paying. So what do you do? You take that money. You invest some in your future finances so you don't have to work forever. You invest it in your body, making sure you look good, smell good, and dress well. And you invest in your pr…

Go to the gym. Seriously. It is the single most important thing you can do as a man, especially without confidence. Learn how to say no. If you don't have a set schedule for your life, make one.

Look man, you're working from a position of power. You have a job, so you're doing better than a lot of people. Is your day to day life great? No. But that can change. If you don't like your job, go out, interview, and keep your goals in mind as you do so. You're much more like to find a job when you already have one. But you can't build your life without money, so be patient.

You got it. Remember too that what separates adult men from the rest is that doing what we want comes second to doing what we need. Otherwise we're a slave to our vices, and you end up living in your mom's basement at 40. Good luck brother.

Being dominant is just walking your own path, man. You want that? Take it. You want to do this? Do it. Fuck everyone else, you decide who's opinions matter other than yours. Edit: If men don't treat you with respect, you're doing something that doesn't sit well with them. I have a buddy who is basically a rug for men or women to walk on, and even though he's a great friend, it's still hard to not judge how he acts.

Similar boat here man. Your game has to be pretty tight, and you'll need to find a way for your personality shine before they decide your looks are who you are.

A lot of friendships with women tend to be one way. Imagine if your best guy friend was constantly getting favors out of you, but never did anything for you. It's like that, a lot. That being said, sure you can be friends with chicks. A lot of guys here make the women they know out to be vapid whores (and a lot of them may be) but there's value to be found in everything. I know women smarter than I'll probably ever be, kinder than I'll ever be, but also women that are capable of things I can't w…

To kinda back up what some others have said, READ. About everything. I personally find philosophy (classical at least) to have the most impact. Aristotle, Marcus Aurelius, Machiavelli, etc. Reading make a you learn. The more you know, the more you'll learn, and it snowballs.

I seriously hope this is a troll and if not you really need to stick around a read some more. You come off like an arrogant asshole which, contrary to what you may think, is NOT a "Redpill" mindset. Trust me, she can do better. She can always do better.

Honestly man you're kind of coming off like an over eager puppy. Heed everybody's advice here, but remember that being "redpill" means owning your own shit. Nobody goes from crawling to running without falling, so own the fact that you messed up (honestly it's not that bad especially if you're just starting to wrap your head around it) and pretend like it never happened. Go stay busy.

Sure, most people today are shit so most music is going to reflect that. I love the people saying they didn't/don't listen to shitty music though. While "pop" music isn't exactly unique, and sure 90% of it is the same whiny bullshit mixed with the same general musical progression, "shitty" music is just like your opinion, man.

Do you have your shit together? A job, a car, etc? From my own experience these girls (low counts/limited experience) like to latch onto the guys who's traits match up with what their parents have always told them to go after. Doubly so if you're attractive. They've generally not been pumped and dumped enough to see the realities of life.

Anything you do should be for yourself, not a woman. Sure, beat the shit out of him. You'll have proven that he's a threat. Honestly, since you've already brought him up to her, you'd make yourself look even more weak. Insecurity isn't a turn on.

Dude, you're 14. You don't 'approach' because frankly there's nothing to approach. 14 year old chicks can barely figure out what they're doing that night, much less what they want to do with you. You're young. Stick to school, join a sport, and overall have fun and enjoy it. Put the effort in now, so that at 16-17-18, you won't need to approach, they'll approach you.

Could be. She wants her space, so I'll give her her space and do my own thing. I'll let her come back to me.

That's what I'm doing. I told her that I'm not the only one that apparently needs to get her shit together, and she needs either come get her stuff, or decide what she wants instead of just trying to lead me along like a sad little puppy.
/r/askTRP10/04/14 04:48 PM

Some may disagree, but any physical confrontation will look like weakness on your part. Sure, that's what your instincts tell you to do but if/when it's all said and done, she won't respect you any more. Your best bet is to get out, make some friends, and cut contact entirely. I was in a fairly similar situation as you, and it hurts, but after a few months you'll just be laughing at her.
