I haven't been married long. But I'm young and in feel like everything I have, we have earned together. I don't have 'my wealth' to protect, if that makes sense. We're not even mildly religious, but it's that doesn't mean that marriage doesn't have a certain prestige and tradition in our families that we enjoy. I looked at them yeah, looked at what they were about and stuff. Obviously didn't actually read them, kinda figured I'd need to order them to do that :D edit: *Apart from the Andrea Dworkin book, I don't think I'm prepared for that yet :D

So I went immediately and looked up all of your suggestions and ordered the ones which I could afford/find. I ordered this version of the pamphlet which I found on Amazon, and this is what I got in return: http://imgur.com/a/blvPQ Not particularly relevant, just thought it was interesting. A much older more valuable version of the pamphlet!

haha Yeah I know it seems so. But I think it's similar to a kind of brainwashing, even intelligent people can be persuaded of stupid things when they're manipulated. It happens with cults and religions too.
