Navy records reveal 100,000 boys below voting age were shamed into enlisting during WW1. Why are the Suffragettes seen as the war's only victims of gender injustice?http://clinton3.nara.gov/WH/EOP/First_Lady/html/generalspeeches/1998/19981117.html | /r/MensRights | 16/03/15 04:44 PM
Feminists get black game developer fired because he posted with a hash #NotYourShieldBefore nys started, alot of anti-gg were claiming gg was "against inclusion", as in against not only women but also black people in games an so forth. Guy got mad, told them to stop speaking for him, many joined in, and anti-gg dropped it to just "you hate women" because "internalized misogyny " carries more weight with them for some reason. | /r/MensRights | 22/09/14 02:27 AM
I Don't Need Feminism Because...I had a teacher like that. The school desperately wanted to get rid of him because he was a rich pita but he was, coincidentally, a rich pita so they could try throwing money at him and buying out his tenure (didn't work, obviously) and increasing his class size over and over (he liked 30 people classes so they bumped him up to 200 or so. Only reason I managed to get into his class, actually.) He was fantastic but had a touch of the insanes. | /r/MensRights | 08/03/14 09:43 PM
Anita Sarkeesian stole artwork for commercial use: An Open Letter by the Artist she plagiarized"Content creator" is the name they gave people who repurpose content for youtube videos (like reviewers and let's players.) | /r/MensRights | 07/03/14 04:52 PM
| – | The representations of the female body in video games and movies are unrealistic and unattainableIt's basically this sub's "guys stop linking to music we've all heard already!" from /r/music. Within a few weeks there's going to be a popular "cool your jets" post, people will back off with these karma-whorey anti-feminist type posts (which isn't to say body image issues in the media isn't something worth discussing, just that this presentation lacks substance, is needlessly sarcastic, and is focused on the least important part of the discussion) for a while and then it'll start bubbling back… | /r/MensRights | 26/01/14 06:19 PM |
This is just so entirely delusional I just had to share. Not really. Before the debt ceiling, the government had to authorize each loan, bond, and so forth individually. It was a pretty huge pain and prevented things like letting citizens get (relatively) small government bonds. To fix it, they just said "okay, we authorize everything up to this amount of money." It was typically raised every time a new budget was passed (and from 1979 to 1995, I believe, it was even the rule) and some people even question if it could even stop the government from bor… | /r/MensRights | 17/10/13 04:30 AM
I always hated the "False Equivalency" comic.I've always seen this as the female->male version of "damsel in distress." It's not as bombastic or obvious as the "SHE WAS LITERALLY TAKEN BY A DRAGON AND I SAVED HER AND NOW WE ARE MARRIED" DiD trope, the "He was a shit head and then I found him and I made him not a shithead and now we are married!" always seemed to be the same kind of "I can get someone better if I put myself into it and know where to look" fantasy. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/13 08:50 PM
Is Jack White (of the White Stripes) dangerous? Or is his ex just using the standard line in order to get the kids and more money?"The entire event was completely exploited by him, his band, and his managers and legal professionals," White wrote. "The two of us did have an argument, and I did spit at him. But what he doesn't say is how he then grabbed me to pull me down and pulled out a good deal of my hair. My retaliation was to hit him to get him off of me. Then he landed on my hand, which became cut on the broken glass underneath it. The whole thing lasted less than 10 seconds." For White's context. | /r/MensRights | 03/08/13 05:38 PM

IRS is ignoring my signed court orderThe state does, as you don't have to tell them you're recording. Some states are a one-party notification state, meaning as long as one party involved in the conversation consents to the recording and both parties are in one-party states, a recording can be made without notifying the other party (in this case the IRS.) | /r/MensRights | 06/06/13 10:10 PM
/againstmensrights is very busy lately. I can only guess high schools are letting out now. Anyway, they really brigaded this /MR thread hard. Could have been a nice discussion.Someone probably got modded before anyone responded. | /r/MensRights | 05/05/13 01:08 AM
Men Need Not ApplyIt's not a real ad. Either it's just a spambot link or it's for one of the local porn sites. You don't make $20/hr as an assistant in Phoenix. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/13 04:30 PM
Saw this on Facebook. What? And, if I remember my statistics, in all but one age range men had higher unemployment than women going into the recession. | /r/MensRights | 06/03/13 05:48 AM
Just a reminder that white males commit suicide at a massively disproportionate rate than other groups (e.g. Over 10x more than black women). Take care y'all, watch out for the warning signs of your fBecause the risk for black men is hugely different, basically the same was white women. http://www.radicalcartography.net/index.html?suicide | /r/MensRights | 24/02/13 08:54 PM
"Helping my buddy choose paint for his new house when...." (x-post from /r/funny)I imagine it's a half-joke/half-"seriously, guys, I don't want your wives chewing me out anymore, okay? Get it right the first time." | /r/MensRights | 20/01/13 06:36 AM
Can't believe I had this conversation.No. Her question is "why does the black man want to mug me, instead of rape me (like I am afraid of?)" She is accusing OP of being racist and (to a degree) missing her point. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/13 05:43 AM

Saw this on r/gaybros. Thought you guys would appreciate.60k is the threshold when subs start getting bad, isn't it? It might be time for harsher moderation/self-posts only. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/13 12:30 AM

17-year-old accused of rape, gets sentenced to prison, does hard time, girl gets $1.5m damages, guy secretly records girl saying she made it all up but wants to keep the money, guy gets out and gets NFL audition. | 3 | PolitiFact: Barack Obama ad says women are paid "77 cents on the dollar for doing the same work as men"Because they don't see companies/their owners as economists/rational thinkers, they seem them as "people." So it's easy to write it off as a character flaw in the employers, and so it's easy to say something like "It's because they don't like/trust/believe in women like they do men! So they honestly believe they are going to get 77% of the work out of us, which so isn't true!!" | /r/MensRights | 23/06/12 12:52 AM
Didn't know who would be more offended, Paleo or MensRights...To personify them and make them easier to remember, as well as give a clear physical representation of what each pairing will do to your body(at least in the creator's mind.) | /r/MensRights | 08/05/12 06:25 AM
