it's hardly noticeable what (if any) positive impact it's had. I follow the TSA on Instagram. Every week they post how many guns they confiscated. It's usually around 70, most of them loaded. When the TSA has a "positive impact" literally nothing happens.

In 2005 he wasn't a presidential candidate. In 2005 he was on a reality television show and was primarily famous for being a bit of a dick.

Yeah, how dare he generalize a gender-based movement based on what some shitty website says?! /r/MensRights always makes sure that it only upvotes 100% accurate material and would never mischaracterize anybody else's views! Btw did you hear that "the real agenda of Feminism is to spread male hatred? I know it's true because it's on the front page of /r/MensRights

I like hot girls. I wonder what girls are into.... definitely not hot guys. OMG my initial assumption was wrong?! Well I better start believing a different set of double standards since that worked out so well for me the first time.

I had lunch with a man whose openness about sex and sexuality impressed me until I declined his offer for an afternoon quickie – his response made it clear that his feminism had no room for my apparent frigidity. Then there was the gentleman who messaged me every second day to ask my fem-pinion on everything from vajazzling to Lena Dunham’s memoir. When I finally asked him to cool his jets, he responded furiously that I should be grateful for his incessant questions and I was lucky a man wanted …

In those ones she was shoot first, ask questions later dismissive of challenges Her parents disowned her for doing what she wanted instead of being a good little lady, but she didn't care. You're right, in the future I'll refrain from saying stuff like "you have an overwhelming inability to grasp what analogies are". Oh wait... OP said that.

Actually, your comment just proved my point. Checkmate!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/15 10:14 PM

Right.... so if I disagree with the premise of the analogy in the first place that doesn't mean i'm some moron who doesn't know what an analogy is. It's almost like that's what my comment was about. Here, look through these and then get back to me. You clearly have an overwhelming inability to comprehend basic sentences.

Posting on TRP is like molesting kids, because posting on TRP is bad and molesting kids is bad This is why analogies are pointless if you're trying to prove anything. Analogies are fine in literature or if you're trying to illustrate why someone thinks a certain way. But they're useless as stand-alone arguments.

No when in the months he spent writing the program and when eventually sold it You mean after his family bought him a computer when he was 10 and sent him to private school? Yeah no "props" there. The speaker had her own description of men going off into the wilderness and doing their own thing, and I think that's comparable enough to people pursuing their goals seriously enough to devote 80-100 hours of the week towards it. And that's the only way to be "conscious"? What a retarded definition. …

of the people who are gamechangers an overwhelming number of them are men. How many of those people rely on "props" and how many of them are "conscious while living in the wilderness"? It's also pretty easy for men to make all the big decisions in history when we literally didn't let women do anything for the vast majority of it lol. Filing joint taxes, not having to pay an inheretance tax when your spouse dies, getting post-mortem benefits like social security and veteran's benefits when your spouse dies, if your spouse is an immigrant that makes things way easier, family health coverage, you can't arrest a husband and wife for the same crime (joke, but you get a ton of legal benefits)

feminism bitches at things they believe are social constructs. Huh, silly me. I thought that stuff like "access to birth control" and "family leave policies" were determined by society but TRP just proved me wrong again! Funny how places like Scandanavia are so biologically different from the US. But on the flip side they have higher taxes, I guess that's just another biological difference. We are led to believe that Patriarchy exists in countries which ban paternity tests and have alimonies up …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/15 10:57 PM

Uh.... both TRP and feminism bitch at social constructs. TRP also spends plenty of time talking about "biological imperatives" which put men at a disadvantage. The real difference is that you agree with the stuff TRP complains about and disagree with the stuff feminists complain about. Doesn't change the victim mentality of either group.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/15 08:36 PM

And that isn't "retarded and disingenuous," society has just taken to conflating the word conspiracy with grand nefarious plots by organizations. Or in other words, "everybody else uses 'conspiracy theory' in a different way but I'm going to be overly pedantic and stick by a less used definition of this word to win an argument on the internet". This is for you

I will confess that I would actually prefer to date promiscuous women. Same. They're better at sex and are less emotional about it too. Then again I'm not looking for a LTR or marriage. I went on a Tinder date with an 18 year old and she turned out to be a virgin. I noped the fuck out of there because I ain't dealing with that shit haha

TRP's view on marriage is nowhere close to being mainstream. Hell, Bill Burr is one of the most TRP comedians out there who talked trash on marriage for years and even he tied the knot. There are a number of legal and financial incentives to marriage and "b-but divorce rape!" does not cancel them out.

feminists tend to look at what society was before they were born What feminists are you looking at? Most feminists I see are bitching about things that happened on social media, which as far as I know didn't really exist in the 20th century.

parents and teachers encouraging gender roles are conspiring to do so. Uh, no? To conspire means to do it in secret. It also means that you're doing something with intent. It also means that you're doing something that would subvert the status quo or current laws. The Patriarchy refers to mainstream society, not a few people behind the scenes.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/15 07:17 PM

Like I said, I'm pretty sure you're confused with the definition of "conspiracy". Saying "society gives preferential treatment to certain types of people" is not a conspiracy.

citation needed The Patriarchy isn't referring to some Illuminati type conspiracy or anything. It refers to our society and the way everyone treats each other based on gender. A single mom encouraging her daughter to dress up like a princess and not encouraging her to get an engineer is part of the Patriarchy. A coach telling a little boy "men don't cry" is part of the Patriarchy. I'm not a feminist and I even disagree with most feminists' discussions about the Patriarchy but you should at least…

I mean, there's no reason for America's Funniest Home Videos to still exist either but that's still kicking. As long as the government provides benefits to married couples there will always be an incentive to get married. I believe the government will have to change it over to "civil unions" with terms that are more fair if they want anybody to participate at all. If anything I think society will be the one to redefine what "marriage" means. We're already seeing a movement away from the traditio…

Feminists believe that society is biased in favor of men (the patriarchy), TRP believes that society is biased in favor of women (pussy pass). In reality, both men and women have problems and their own set of advantages/disadvantages. Both TRP and feminists suck with empathy and can't admit that not literally everything in society is stacked against you.

I'm 22atm and have never actually tried to flirt with a girl. Yikes, you have some catching up to do. Tinder's alright but you're not going to get far if you don't know what you're doing. It's hard to actually have a conversation on there, I usually get a number in less than 10 messages. There's really not a substitute for actually meeting women and talking to them. Depending on your circumstance I might even suggest forgetting about flirting right now and just work on being a fun guy that women…

Uh, duh. It's a free country, you can do whatever you want. I will be graduating college as a virgin because I was not in a fraternity Lol wut since when is being in a frat a prerequisite to getting laid? You're a virgin because you didn't have sex. I want to spend at least 10 years of my life doing the wild partying, drinking, and fucking tons of different women to make up for lost time. It depends on the context but I think it's fine as long as you stay in touch in the meantime. People are busy. Remember that dates don't have to be anything too serious and time-consuming. Sometimes it's best to just get a 30 minute coffee/meal and convo and leave them excited for next time.
/r/seduction05/10/15 09:47 PM

Yeah, a lot of guys spend so much time theorycrafting and then never actually apply it. It's usually because they're worried about failing so they want to be as perfect as possible before they start trying. While this is understandable to an extent (you should have some basic shit in order before you try to start dating) there's no substitute for experience. The real players out there have been rejected by more chicks than inexperienced guys have even approached in the first place.
