Or maybe the word has served its purpose and doesn't actively help anyone. The word itself is even a perfect example of "doublespeak."

Read: taxpayers. The idiot judges and other scum-sucking leaches are still around doing their thing.

Betrayal works primarily on trust, which would fall under the "superego" category, but Freud was a fuckin idiot anyway.

Most of this is bullshit psychology - if you really believe that having a firm handshake means you have more power, for example, then you are already at a disadvantage.

So she was looking for a one-time fling... of course you were as well, but... maybe you were hoping for something more? Don't worry about it, dude; things probably wouldn't have been good for you if she attached herself to you.

Woah, take it easy there, man - maybe you just aren't yourself today. :p Just relax and be a bit more selfish - which is not a bad thing at all; look out for your own best interest and never expect anything in return from any good deeds you do for others, if any at all.

The equivalent is the attractive chick with too many holdups with religion, sexuality, and the opinion of others to actually have a comfortable relationship with you. Nice guys similarly have low self esteem issues - which is why they need to wear that "I can help you" mask, even though they can't even help themselves.

Stop thinking like a cock blocker; the girls don't appreciate that way of thinking as well. Just have fun for now.

Offering a cab fare to the lady after the night is over is also something you should do, if you want to improve how she treats you next time, which for you could mean a big diference - it leaves her without worrying how much she spent for the night, and gets her to focus a little more on you.

EDIT: I also wanted to point out that either sex makes mistakes like this early in the relationship - trying to share an important idea too soon, without earlier attempts to understand completely what the other person values in a certain idea, in this case, love. Its like trying to find an answer for, "Do you believe in God?" If the person asking the question believes that there is some dude freezin his ass off up on some cloud somewhere with awesome spy technology, then of course not; if your d…

A girl that is confirmed to have seen early southpark episodes is a keeper? You need more qualifications in your checklist. But then again, maybe not...

Thats Elle Macpherson. Fuck yea shes hot. I noticed some other famous models from victorias secret stuff on there, but for the most part, I think they all need to eat an extra 3 sandwiches a day in addition to whatever dust they are snorting.

They hate you because they think you don't deserve what you have. The only good thing about these kind of people is that they keep you on your toes, which only makes you a better person in the end - while they end up suffering in their own pool of envious vomit.

I think with how new this sub-genre of science (!) relatively is, there is always bound to be a lot of flak - especially because the researchers in this field are not college graduates or hold PhD's, unfortunately losing much credibility. And yes, I would place PUA work under micro-sociology, or a segment of sociology which closely studies the formation of relationships with other people. If anyone has ever browsed through sociology text books (or checked out courses that are publicly free to vi…

I thought success in pickup is correlated with a decline in empathy, from my personal experience and observation... women seem to be strongly attracted to these traits initially, only later developing a hatred for the man because of this characteristic, so learn how to balance your empathy and improve your timing of when to be empathetic, and when not to be - if you want to hold onto a relationship, that is.

"I love me too." Seriously, a girl dumb enough to start saying things like that early in a relationship should get bitten with a response like that.

Sounds more like he is trying to act like everything is understood and cool between them, to me. But I guess that translates to "validation" in the "seduction community." Also, your name may indicate that you are a little biased on this topic...

Glad to be of help. Remember that no one sympathizes for a sore loser - so don't expect to win, and later go all loose cannon when things don't turn out your way.

Previously you said that he doesn't seem to care about you when he is not around... how can you honestly conclude this - you can't really read his mind, ya know? Also, it's not healthy to care too much about a person you haven't known for a long time. If you want a relationship, let it flow, and let the bond build naturally, I guess. I also wanted to point out that it seems like you have more and stronger feelings for this guy than he does for you. Again, don't feel defeated by this, but I have …

Alright, well first of all, excuse my assumption that there wasn't a formal inquiry or interest in pursuing a relationship between the two of you. That being said, it is possible that he fears becoming too attached to you, too soon into the relationship. Maybe he had problems before with previous "girlfriends" or crushes, and even casual friendships, which may have left him devastated in certain periods of his life - some guys are sensitive to these relationship changes, even though they don't s…

Your post describes how some female colleagues think of me almost word for word - and also explains why I think that women are equally as immature as men, in regards to relationships. I would like to take a guess and say that you two were actually never formally in a relationship - maybe went out a few times to a bar, dancing, coffee shops - always with a group of friends, never completely alone with each other. Your post also highlights a very large problem with the seduction community - especi…

Expect a change in the rules. Even that is mentioned in The Game. You could have said that you already know people. Its just that once in a while you would like to have sex with an attractive girl, you are young, etc. Couldn't hurt to be a bit more honest in this kind of situation, or when a girl has read that book.

I honestly expected a defensive retort - and I like making stupid sarcastic remarks. You genuinely seem like the kind of girl that understands playful jabbing - a most rare and unique trait that I too try to find in women. I understand now why he wants to hold on to you - all the best!

Man pulls woman around by hair, treatment becomes part of, almost a necessity in, her life. Adaptation.

No he's not - what you are really doing is saying to each of them that you are slightly interested in them. They will all start fighting for either you or your attention. Its pretty awesome and hilarious to see it happen if you do it right, and you slowly start treating them with disregard and they will start loving you for it - if done right. I was once a male gigolo and inflated prices this way in having girlfriends fight over who would take me home that night. It's like hosting your own aucti…

Say, "trick question because you have the best smile, you have the best eyes, you have the best..." and point out something nice and unique about each person.

A man who already knows what a real woman looks like attracts the woman who wants to know what a real man looks like. -or- Just let her check you out until you become part of the daily atmosphere of the office; allow familiarity to take place before initiating relations. Looking at the women at your office for acknowledgment too soon might make them feel uneasy.
