Agree with this. Dynamic warmups are the best. I would look into prehab guys instagram and do the drills they show for specific muscle groups you plan on working. I would day doing a warmup should be as nuch as 20% of your gym time then hit your weights hard. You’ll be a lot more thankful when you’re older and can keep injuries at bay

I've always been told BJJ if you're short. I've always liked muay thai and that's what led me to go into it. I do it just from a fitness perspective. I don't have fight aspirations as I can't devote the level of time I feel is necessary to get into adequate fight shape for my body size. Even if i was 0% body fat right now, I'd have to fight in the heavyweight division and there just aren't many muay thai fighters in the amateur circuit at that level around here.

5 years ago I would have agreed on point 7, but if you start training on any activity that is physically taxing, I recommend doing at least some level of base training before going full bore into a strength training regime. Typically you want to avoid questions and learn how to conversation thread. Statements trump questions, even if your assumptions are wrong. I.e. You look like you're from the midwest vs Where are you from? I usually take it a bit further depending on the energy in the interaction and make up something ludicrous, depending on my mood... Ymmv doing that though, as its high risk high reward usually.

Not a big fan. I'm the least photogenic person I know so I'm hardly getting matches at all. When Ido get matches, they're all fat, Cam whores, or both. My friends that have gotten a ton of matches are very photogenic. Or have lots of women in their pictures.
