I get really pissed off when I hear feminists talk about "mental load" or "emotional labor." I spent fifteen years listening to my wife go on about some other guy she had fucked so she could process some shitty past relationship with a guy she knew she should have stayed away from, all because I was too naive to know I had no business doing that in the first place, at the cost of my own well-being. It pisses me off because it ignores everything I went through.

Honestly, in my experience, a lot of women really aren't that good at empathy, at least if it's towards something outside their experience. I had a woman therapist a few years ago, and while she was a very good therapist, she struggled to understand how bad certain experiences in my marriage were, because she could not relate to the experiences of a man, since they were different from how she experienced things. I love that response of "then reward it." It seems to me that many women don't realize that sex is a pretty powerful behavioral incentive, and that oftentimes they end up incentivizing shitty behavior in men in whom they choose to have sex with. If you have sex with a man with shitty behavior, he has no motivation to not be shitty, since being shitty got the desired results. Trying to be a decent man often gets you nowhere.
