Are older single women truly the happiest?Lol no, it's not. Testosterone is a hormone that fluctuates too, so much so that both low levels and high levels are known to increase depression in men. Not decrease. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9216439/#:~:text=Testosterone%20is%20one%20possible%20biomarker,explain%20inconsistencies%20in%20previous%20results. I know you're grasping at anything to prove that women aren't more depressed because of being lonely, but you're going to need to provide accurate info if you have a poin… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 09:38 PM
Are Situationships for the most part, a result of women not being able to secure men they wish to date?Muscled man who takes care of his appearance threatens beta male virgin with a personality as interesting as office carpet. A tale as old as time | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 08:18 PM
Are older single women truly the happiest?I wouldn't gauge whether a woman who posts pictures of herself at brunch as content or happy. That's a weird standard to use, considering you can still be depressed and post pictures of your food simultaneously. If anything, you could equally infer the opposite, especially if it's compensating with "look how happy I am!" There are a lot of depressed posts masking as "look how happy I am". Regardless, the happiest women aren't posting on social media. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 08:09 PM
Are older single women truly the happiest?Menopause lasts between the ages of 45 - 55, on average. What about the women under 45, or older than 55? That's a massive demographic. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 08:02 PM
Are older single women truly the happiest?perimenopause is. That only effects a certain demographic of women, particularly between the ages of 45 - 55. Do you have an excuse for the women between the ages of 30 - 45, or the women between 55 and 80? Surely someone who actually knows what perimenopause is would have thought this through before writing this comment... | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 07:54 PM
Are older single women truly the happiest? That's a very short window, typically from 45 - 55. We're not talking about that window in particular, we're talking about women between the ages of 30 - 80. It's a huge spectrum and menopausal treatment is only a fraction of that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 07:52 PM
Are older single women truly the happiest? And these stats are incredibly hard to measure anyways. Happiness in itself is a completely subjective experience, and it's use can be misinterpreted in ways the original study did not intend. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 07:47 PM
To the men who complain about lonelinessI think you'll find most men, at least judging by the comments so far, are in a vicious cycle of depression and anxiety. Without some sort of medical intervention in the form of therapy or meds, there's only so much you can do to escape your own head/past. And treatment isn't available to everyone, unfortunately. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 06:37 AM
The wall is real and provable with statisticsMaybe don't marry a cheater? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/03/24 10:05 PM
The wall is real and provable with statisticsBecause their husbands, on average, are older than them (60s 70s), which correlates with data suggesting men live to be in their early 70s in the US. The men aren't in their 50s when they die, that wouldn't match the current life expectancy stats. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/03/24 10:02 PM
