You also failed to mention the correlation is a lot less for men than women.

FDS seems like a place where undesired women go to pump up their egos when they repeatedly fail to get a "good man". They talk about about filtering, but that only works if you can attract the guy you want. Something tells me they aren't. Worse, the response seems to be filter harder rather than improve.

Women tend to pick useless degrees. I do find it funny when one of these women considers herself educated. Personally I think a lot of them come out of college dumber than when they went in

Most factors driving women's attraction are not mutable. No amount of working out is gonna make you taller. Sure, maximize what you got, but if you're 5'7 you are not going to be drawing any women's eyes.

Does anybody here actually step outside? Go to a bar in any major city. Good looking guys are getting women there too. Game means nothing. An attractive dude on dating apps will also do comparatively well at a bar. There are no "other ways" that don't involve looks or money or being literally famous.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 09:52 PM

This analogy is just an easy way to expose the hypocrisy of women. Women (who are more liberal) will talk all day about income inequality and hating on the rich, but will go on banging Chad. The equivalent of the rich in the sexual market. In fact it's even worse than this. At least you can make more money. You can't just get taller or change your race, etc.

The premise of your take is based off a clickbaity and purposefully trashy podcast and this somehow is representative of real life? Facepalm

I love how you assume I struggle with women. I don't. Also thanks for confirming my point. Looks give you a chance

PPD women logic never fails to amaze.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 07:05 AM

Exactly. If you are invisible as a woman you are almost certainly well below average. Notice how another woman in this thread claims to be below average but still gets too much attention on dating apps. Lol the memes continue.

Bruv all you need to do is spend 5 min on PPD or any other feminist leaning sub to know you should avoid these women. I've gone on dates with "feminists". After 3 times I decided any girl that declares herself a feminist is an immediate deal breaker.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:26 PM

Lay off the feminism juice brah, this is nonsensical.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:21 PM

a woman who makes every man wait I too love anecdotes about unicorns
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:19 PM

Because women don't grow, they just get older and switch priorities to finding somebody with resources but they don't lust for like the ppl they banged in their 20s. If a woman actually matured and improved they wouldn't have n counts in the double digits by age 30.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:16 PM

Just be Chris Hemsworth bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:12 PM

Never heard this one before 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:11 PM

Yeah, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:08 PM

Maybe if women breaking their "principles" for attractive guys wasn't such a common occurrence men wouldn't think this way? I'm not surprised, most of this women on PPD are pretty far removed from modern dating so these ideas may seem foreign to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:08 PM

Yes we are aware the anti social shut in sheltered women on PPD are all about "personality" and "would never do ONS" and "aren't like the others". blah blah.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:05 PM

Women do it all the time because they confuse the two.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 05:01 PM

You are out of touch and it shows. Women's actual standards, especially young women, are largely based on physical, unchangeable attributes

Not everybody has access to cheap prostitutes. An actual good woman can be a benefit to your life. Finding one is extremely hard these days, but can be done. Dating isn't that miserable. Go Dutch, do stuff you were gonna do anyway, have sex, don't commit.

Yeah more ppl need to get this. Good looking guys slay, whether they are muscly or not. Be tall, have the right skin color (not gonna delve deeper cuz race talk isn't allowed), have a good jaw, and have low body fat. And that's it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 12:46 AM

The emphasis is "equality" you know the thing that women demand so much. But as usual, women are only feminists when it suits them, as evidence by all the women in this thread saying men should pay.

OP straight up misquoting the study by the way. It theorizes sexual frustration leads to misogyny, not the other way around. In case you didn't already know she isn't debating in good faith

/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 09:01 PM

This is a rehashed version of "personality is most important". It's not. It's not even close to mattering as much as how you look. there are a million studies, datasets, papers that outline this pretty clearly, but just step outside and it becomes pretty obvious. Happy guys aren't hot, hot guys are happy. Vibes aren't attractive, attractive men give off good vibes to women. Women will attribute whatever positive attributes to a hot guy to make her seem like she's with him for his "personality" a…

Mgtow is too small to make a dent in metrics like these. They also skew older.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 04:40 AM

lol what kind of convoluted humblebrag is this.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 09:51 PM
2

That's not my assumption. I think it's more that women who choose to message first are women who care less about physical attractiveness and more about other things. A more practical woman maybe. But again this is conjecture. Whatever my assumption is though, it's still a small minority of women who think this way.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 09:41 PM

Men who can afford to give commitment, typically don't until later or do it whenever they want. Others don't have that luxury, but are happy to just find one person to stick with them for the long haul. Unfortunately, women don't really care about the first guy because he's probably not that hot. And having casual relationships with hot guys and trying to lock them down is preferable to a long term one with a regular guy. Well until it's time to settle down. Then the standards slowly begin to dr…

Just don't be a neck beard bro. Lol. You can't make this shit up. I refuse to not partially believe this is a secret incel troll account to spread blackpill by using purposefully stupid arguments.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 12:35 PM

Worse, that's just for women who messaged people first. Very few women message first on dating apps. So she's even more wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 12:31 PM

Women make certain men jump through hoops. Men would be wise to not put in effort into that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 11:22 AM

Yeah no. Most men don't think like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 07:03 PM

Taking dating advice from women, and particularly women on this sub is a terrible idea for men. They have trouble separating their feelings/perceptions from reality so you get very inconsistent advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 07:02 PM

Because there's some truth in it? Women, despite liberation, still prefer to not get their hands dirty.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/21 03:07 PM

Wrong. If this were the case you'd expect a dramatic increase in achievements in stem as women became more liberated. This obviously has not been the case.

What percentage of women send messages first on OKC?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/21 10:46 PM
24

Yup, the fact of the matter is, a lot of things that made you desirable 20+ years ago don't matter to most women today. Because social media and technology have made us all connected artificially, women have pivoted their priorities to match. If a women couldnt see you with her on her Instagram she ain't dating you.

Your quoting it yet, drawing incorrect conclusions. What percentage of women message first? Without knowing that the data does not really support your point. Maybe not you I don't use OKC so yeah that would make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 11:57 AM

I'm gonna need access to the full studies here, but these don't seem as definitive as u claim. not to mention, these studies kinda reaffirm my beliefs. Personality is nothing, looks/status are far more important. A lot of this seems self reported as well, which we know for things like this isn't very reliable. That being said if you have full access I'd like to dive in. Secondly these studies are still kinda old. Tinder was released in 2012. Thirdly, my main focus is mostly on under 30 crowd. I …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 10:03 PM

^ you didn't actually understand the OKC study at all. Of women who messaged people, it showed they messaged people more in their league. Most women don't message people first on dating apps. OLD is the norm, tinder and other apps are representative nowadays. OP is 100% right. Dating app data is very good for understanding trends dating, especially among younger people

No, men understand chasing a girl when she's got 5 other men in a rotation is stupid and undignified Women definitely don't need to be beautiful. Just not fat and you'll be hit on. Actually even that is optional. If men have nothing to offer than I'd say women offer even less

Maybe because they used to have somewhat romantic views on finding a partner, and realizing that women don't really care about being a good person, or having principles, or believing in growing together, or modesty, or anything resembling maturity, is not fun. This is a very important point. When women complain about men, they are always almost talking about top men. "Men run the world", no, extremely rich men do "Men have unrealistic beauty standards", no, just the top men you want "Men just use me for sex", again nope just the ones that can afford to And so forth. Average men don't really even register as an entity to the average woman.

Women are notoriously terrible at gauging attractiveness, they rate 50% of men unnatractive. So to them while what you say is true, in reality it is not
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 12:15 PM
11

Mostly. Personality matters, but not much compared to how you look. I don't think there's a single experiment done that showed personality even having a 10th of the correlation looks has to attraction. As a guy ending up dating below your physical league is fairly common, given mens physical standards are more reasonable. As a woman, pretty rare, but can happen. Usually cuz he's rich or famous etc. IME intangibles can at most bump u up or down 1 point..and I'm being very generous.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 11:52 PM

Yup what she meant to say was, men that can afford to have standards are attractive. But that's because they are already attractive. I've learned over the years is that women hardly understand their own attraction. They create some narrative in their head and retroactively apply it.

You've haven't met any of the men on this subreddit in real life. You have no idea of their social skills, prospects, or hygiene. You assume these things because youve succumb to just world fallacy. Those who complain, those who have issues, it must be something wrong with them, it couldn't be possibly something else. I think there are a few studies showing physical attractiveness being a major factor in spurring orgasms in women. "Getting it" may just be being hot rather than some technique. In my experience, most girls don't orgasm from PIV. Or at least say they dont. Its not clear to me if this is them trying to be nice, or I'm not hot enough for them to orgasm from PIV. A minority of girls I've dated take a proactive approach and literally just tell me what gets them off. And then we do that. And it's tha…

Yeah I would say most men under the age of 30 are at least moderately red/black pilled. But idk tho I do see a lot of simps out there... But yeah as 80/20 turns into 90/10 it'll become more and more prevalent.

Women dictating the smp has been a thing since humans were a thing. Women and education isn't relevant to this. Your statement about millennial men seems to be based on personal anecdotal experience, so I can't really take it seriously.

Because the average guy eventually gets a relationship doesn't mean the average guy is bp. That logic makes no sense. Also, I don't think the average guy is bp. And no. Average rp will do better. A big part of rp is understanding how important maxing out attractiveness is. Just on that alone means they will be far more successful. I'm not even rp and this much is obvious. It has become rare in the sense that women, due to a variety of factors have upped the standards of who will receive their love. There's a lot of love going around, just between a small subset of men and many women. I reject the premise that today's relationships have "more" love than ones partially born out of necessity. A lot of relationships today are still grounded on things that aren't "love".

Yes porn addiction is bad. But watching porn somewhat regularly is different than porn addiction. most men don't have issues with porn addiction. So the theory that men are undateable due to porn usage is pretty stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 10:01 PM

That's not what I said at all. But women's decisions have incentivized men to watch porn. Watching porn is still an individual decision. Also I don't watch porn so why are u referring to me specifically?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 10:00 PM

This makes no sense at all. Avg men date ugly women all the time. Because avg women still try to lock down attractive men so they have to settle often.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 07:56 PM

Classic "it's men's fault post" Most men aren't addicted to porn Watching porn regularly does not equal addiction Men watch porn as a response to outrageous standards women have (which are only accelerating). Men do not prefer it to actual sex, but given the numbers the juice often isn't worth the squeeze. I agree on one part. If women do not want to settle for less than Chad, then yes they should prepared to die alone. Maybe they can finally shut up about "where are all the men" then.

They have more choice period. You are better of having options to try and discard if they don't work, than not having any options at all. If you want to find your favorite flavor of ice cream, having many flavors to choose from is better than not having any flavors at all. This is basic logic
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 10:23 PM

No. Women to a more significant degree have more choice. Men do not. Choice is the first step. The fact that women choose poorly doesnt mean women have it harder. And even if they choose poorly it's quite easy to find another.

This is your brain on feminism. The only thing men are "mad" (more like laugh at) about is women with high standards with nothing to offer themselves. My point is most dynamics that occur stem from survival strategy, not a Boogeyman patriarchy. There wasn't a common belief among men to keep women down. True equality in any other time period would spell disaster for women. A large portion of women didn't even want the the vote, men helped that change. Getting us away from those times was done on the backs of men. Ergo men have really helped women much more then they have helped themselves.

I don't know what that is. The post was deleted so I can't re read. But there was links to data and it sparked some good discussion. Also what qualifies it as "incel content"?

There's nothing more important for increasing your chances to get an LTR than attractiveness. This is a statistical fact. So while other things are important, this is still most important, by a large margin. I don't need to make assumptions because the data is already out there.

men inherently more interested in violence Ooohhh so there are inherent gender preferences and inclinations??? WOAH. Maybe that might explain most or possibly all the differences between men and women, not a Boogeyman holding the women down. Who would've thunk? Women attempt suicide 3 times as much And yet still have lower suicide rates. You can take this as women being so inept they can't kill themselves properly, or these are more cries for help or attention than actual intent to kill. "Less i…

Cuz we have realistic standards. We don't demand supermodels if we are just average. We are content with someone at our level (and a lot of times, below our level). The same does not apply for women, hence guys resorting to dating way down.

No, it's a low iq take. An intellectually lazy way to play the victim. Who make up most of the jail population? The homeless population? Workplace deaths? Suicides? Who is falling behind in college attendance? Homicide victims? Harsher jail sentences? Who controls consumer spending? Who gets custody? But yeah, muh patriarchy. Nice ad hominem btw. Fastest way to show me you don't really have an argument. Just another intellectually void feminist. You are a dime a dozen.

That could also be true. And there's a fairly logical basis for that. Since women give a pass to attractive men, there's less incentive for them to treat them well. In my experience I can't say I've seen that play out. Most attractive guys I know are ok people, but it's a small sample.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/21 04:13 AM

Nah you're misunderstanding what men think about this completely (like most women do here). Men don't think good looking men treat women worse than ugly men by default. What they do know is that women put up with being treated badly by good looking men much much more than being treated badly by ugly men.

Youre not addressing my point. A date is supposed to be a mutual thing. You're spending time, she is spending time. Why do you feel the need to pay for something you both are doing? Because you're the one who set things in motion? That seems to make even less sense. It's ok to pay, but your reasoning is more rooted in traditional norms than transactional logic, which is what you initially claimed

I am continually impressed by the stupidity expressed in this subreddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/21 04:13 PM

The people who talk about dating success are likely to attribute it to things they can control. And thus, if you're not successful, they think you are doing something wrong. Game is subset of personality/behavior by definition. As u know this does not matter much, so can't say I can take your experience as generalizable in the slightest.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/21 02:28 AM
11

It is simple, but nobody wants it to be. Thats why these forums and arguments exist. Nobody likes being reduced to "simple" even though most adhere observable and strong trends. So people will spend endless time, saying "women are complex", or "I'm not like that", etc. Everybody wants to be unique, especially when it comes to dating, even though it is one of the most painfully predictable things there is.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/21 02:26 AM

You learned to not be socially awkward. Yes being aturbo autismo can mess up anyone's chances, even if you're attractive. Either way good for you, but I've never ever seen game change a woman from no to yes. Which makes sense given what we know about how little personality/behavior affects initial attraction

Not really, those studies explicitly claim the possibility of screwing up cause and effect. E.g. happier/healthier men choose to get married, not marriage creates happier men. Key to an indentured servant Or the key to losing half your wealth. Given divorce rates, divorce laws, hypergamy, you making the claim that men are the parasitical entity in marriage is pretty hilarious.

I agree, but people are saying that the top 20% are varied among women which isn't true. My point is, of you took 100 women and put them at a party and asked them who the 5 hottest people in the room were, there would not be much variation.

Zero evidence to support this. Female arousal is highly correlated to looks. In fact you claim that men care more about looks than women which is false. There is not a single study or experiment confirming this. In fact it's quite the opposite. Why do people bother posting ridiculous opinions with not even a semblance of data or logic to back it up. Most of us want true romance Lol. One of the biggest mainstream lies is that women are the romantic gender. It is the opposite. Guys do the stupidest things for women that aren't worth their salt everyday. I've asked them, why. Why. Why. And they unironically want to fix, console, protect, help, etc and they love her. Even though she brings nothing to the table compared to him. They are broke, have emotional issues, drug addictions, debt, mental disorders, family issues. They aren't even hot. So…

We already know what they find attractive, you're the one who is clueless. You say idealistic things like women have a complex framework of assessing attractiveness. They don't. It's actually very simple and we have the data that shows it. You have nothing but a wish to make women seem more noble then they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/21 02:51 PM
7

No, women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/21 02:48 PM

These studies didn't ask women what they want. They were based on what women actually did. Women will tell you all day long about how much personality matters, but in general, it is not true, unless you are sufficiently attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 09:34 PM
0

Possible, but rare. but since we're talking about outliers already (women dating down in attractiveness) then yeah maybe more likely among this group.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 09:31 PM
-1

There is not a single study supporting this. By and large, physical attractiveness is the #1 predictor of sexual attraction from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 09:27 PM
2

Bro stop, you are out of your element here.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 09:25 PM

Rape isn't common enough for us to factor it in heavily into any of our decisions in a meaningful way. I don't distrust other men even though they commit most violent crimes. Why? Because most men don't commit violent crimes. Couple this with the extremely broad definition of rape used these days and a lot of women choosing to date abusive men, will result in apathy, and for understandable reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 07:59 PM
17

Online dating is the new norm
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 07:52 PM
17

Or alternatively, women are more shallow than men. You truly have mastered the art of turning any fact about dating into an attack on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 07:51 PM
1

I have empathy for trauma that isn't self induced. Most of the time when women talk about their relationship traumas, it is almost entirely self caused. I have female friends that have gone through real trauma, and we have created deep bonds discussing it. But empathizing with a girl who wants to take things slow because the previous 6 guys she dated and slept with on the 2nd or 3rd date ended up abusing her? Nah, thats called being a sucker.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 05:07 PM
8

You said it was debunked, you prove it. You simply claimed it wasn't true while providing a link to an experiment confirming it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/21 11:06 AM
9

80/20 has not been debunked. And it doesn't just come from OKC.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/21 10:53 AM
56

Being nice is irrelevant. The nice guy meme is a convenient way for women to dismiss when ugly guys are interested in them to make them seem less shallow.

Nope.

No. More like, "would you rather starve, or have to choose from a menu with 200 items to eat".
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/21 11:36 AM

Ah yes, pointing out basic truths about modern dating that portrays women in a slightly less than positive light = incel. The memes really do write themselves here.

As a guy: be tall, not fat, with above average facial features, and light skin As a woman: not fat, average or above facial features, some semblance of a shapely figure Generally, if you are a 8+ as a guy on average women will find you attractive. Generally, if you are a 5-6+ as a woman on average men will find you attractive. After you've crossed those barriers above you need to then have a personality that appeals to a lot of the other gender. I'm not sure if there's a single personality that …

Not comparable 1 the chance of a man assaulting a woman after a rejection is quite low, so factoring this in as a major dating problem is a bit disingenuous. 2 men make up a large majority of violent crime victims
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 10:38 AM
10

Ah the classic "you've got to be happy alone to be happy together" Not true. Plenty of emotionally damaged people have no issues finding relationships. Especially women. And they do just fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/21 10:39 AM
14

What a dumb question. The chance of sexual assault on any given day is miniscule. How many young men compared to young women aren't having sex? How many choices does the average man vs the average women have for a partner? How hard is it for a man to be considered attractive vs a woman? And so on and so on. This "but rape" argument is not sound.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/21 10:24 AM

Men not getting sex is not a rare occurrence. Do you even hear what you're saying?

It might as well not matter a lot compared to attractiveness is my point. That page does not have anything but a summary without details of how much personality affects attractiveness. It just said it does have an affect.

Nah. For acquiring both short term and long term relationships, physical attractiveness is most important. It matters a little less for long term. But personality is still far behind I'd say. with modern dating the gap has probably narrowed. But you are painfully oblivious to how dating works nowadays so not surprised.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 03:31 PM

Can u post the actual paper. I tried to get to it from that page but it goes to a dead link. It does not mention to what degree it affects perceived attractiveness. I doubt its anywhere near the effect of just being hot. Which is the point being made.

Given this sounds like being attractive is extremely important given the lack of "smart" girls. It's almost as if in general women don't care about personality nearly as much as looks. Ah wait we are back to the original point.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 02:23 PM

Somehow, women losing basic houseworking skills is men's fault. Lolol. The reason a lot of women suck today is the attitude you just displayed. The willingness to blame others and never look inward.

The difference in treatment average women give to good vs ugly looking men is wild. You know what's weird, 8-10 women don't do this nearly as much. Sure they still aren't going to date an ugly dude. But they usually aren't actively hostile like average/ugly women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 09:03 PM
21

Can be, but is much less likely to be perceived as creepy
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 09:00 PM

And I'm saying all that is irrelevant if you're good looking. There is no "right timing" if you're ugly. If you're Chad it's always the right timing.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 08:59 PM
6

Lol no. Women make exceptions for Chad all the time. Also nobody is angry at Chad. Pointing out attractive men's extreme advantage in dating due to extreme female standards is not anger at Chad. It's just pointing out simple facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 04:45 PM

Yeah exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 04:36 PM

Eh I'm not sure I fully recommend that either. Just don't put a relationship on a super high pedestal. Don't simp, don't double text, dont spend money on dates, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:54 PM
9

You know if women defined rape culture this way I wouldn't even be mad. It be the first time in awhile women would be honest about something.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:51 PM
1

Well yeah it's gonna be tough. That's how it is these days. Hypergamy, online dating, and choice paralysis, has made women very very picky. My advice is to do your own thing and don't break your back trying to find relationships, not worth the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:42 PM
1

If a woman is rejected, it's usually because the guy is taken or is out of her league. I've never, literally never, seen a woman ask out a guy less attractive than her. Guys get rejected by people in their league all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:33 PM
1

They will break these rules if you're famous or rich enough. Holding frame and style don't do anything. This is the part of red pill that is bogus.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:30 PM
3

Out of all the countries I've visited, Australia had the largest attractiveness gap between males and females. Not only are the guys decently good looking, the girls are pretty mediocre looking. It was bizarre.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:26 PM
1

Ding ding ding
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 06:38 PM
15

Because a small but growing number of men realize they are usually one of many dudes a woman is talking to and putting in the time at the start is a bad ROI. Smart guys know if they are keeping the conversation going, or have to double text, etc they need go into low effort mode because that's likely ending nowhere. This might not apply to your specific case, but you get the idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/21 06:50 PM
17

This is some next level pseudo-intellectual male bashing with some extreme strawmanning tossed in.

Ask again, or talk to her friends. It usually comes out one way or another.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 11:54 PM

Usually I just ask again. Or a third time if it's obvious she's lying. It's usually 3-4 times higher than the original number.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 11:52 PM

For women multiply by 3-5, men divide by 1.5-2. This has been stunningly accurate in my experience.

You gotta adjust for the skewed physical ratings women give men. She probably considers a dude that's a 7 a 4. Unless she's living around very very rich guys, I would take this with a grain of salt.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 08:55 AM

Having access to relationships doesn't automatically mean access to mutually beneficial, healthy, or loving relationships. Access to relationships is necessary to get one though.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 07:42 PM
6

It's valuable to me, but only as an indicator of character, similar to n-count. If a woman makes good money, she probably has a skilled and/or demanding job. To get and keep that job you probably need to have a good work ethic, organizational skills, good planning etc. I don't actually care about the money itself (I make more than enough).
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 07:39 PM

What I noticed is that their level of evidence is almost entirely internet-based : instagram comments, youtube videos or some thirst tweets about Henry Cavill . /r/PurplePillDebate10/04/21 02:45 PM

I don't think you even understand what you write honestly. I am a single person. I do not control the way people act. Whether it's OKC, Tinder, or others it does not matter. The same dynamics occur.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/21 02:22 PM
25

Nearly half of all relationships are now started online. It's not that shallow people use tinder, it's that people are shallow, period. Dating dynamics of tinder don't really differ that much from IRL.

Not sure what universe you live in, but unless Stacy is borderline autistic, she's not getting with anyone below an 8. Women aren't nearly as punished in the dating market for social disabilities as men are. Overall though yes, social capacity can reduce attractiveness for both men and women, but at extremely different degrees.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 01:32 PM

Women have sex with hot guys, in casual or non casual settings. This environment nonsense is a load of junk. Just be hot. That's how u get casual sex. That is 90% of it. Attractive people can literally order sex on hook up apps. Tinder exists for a reason.

Do you have evidence men rate other men on the same skewed curve? I haven't seen any. Not self ratings, assessment of others. Which study are you talking about? Your last statement doesn't even make sense. No gender is more beautiful than the other. It is all based on a relative scale. The most attractive man is a 10, the most attractive woman is a 10. this concept isn't hard to understand.

Black/red pills expose some ugly truths about dating, and women. People don't take kindly to things that put them in a bad light or doesn't match up with their perception of the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 12:19 AM

The guy is usually hotter than the girl. Women will say otherwise but that's because they grade men on a harsher and skewed distribution. In reality the man is usually more attractive. If the man is truly uglier, he's probably very rich and or famous

Wow you are pretty clueless. I really wonder how people get through life without an ounce of critical thinking, boggles my mind. Go start with the ok Cupid blogs and tinder experiments. And if you want more rigorous material there is plenty of psych papers on this. So, bring some good data or stop talking. Your "real life experience" is hardly quantifiable or sufficient.

Depends on who's giving the advice. Reasonable blackpillers give the best advice. Followed by reasonable red pillers Blue pill advice is the least useful and borderline detrimental. I say blackpill is the most useful because it probably has the most data backing it. It's also the most simple advice. Nothing will improve your dating life more than becoming more physically attractive. This is known and undeniable. One you've achieved a physical peak, then use RP to achieve marginal gains.

We tried this, it was called womens sexual liberation. Turns out with the "shackles" off, they wanted to bang Chad. Stopping slut shaming does not help the average man. It helps women and chads.

No men have accepted that for awhile because we're hit over the head with this idea that men are horny, shallow, dogs, that are toxic by the msm. Turns out women are all that and then some. I'm ok with everyone being shallow, I'm not ok with people lying about women not being just as shallow as men (with all evidence pointing to them being even more shallow).

Never said that, read again please. An actually short man has a cap on his attractiveness. He can still be attractive, but he's not getting beyond an 8. And no , 5 8 is not short. In addition he has to really make up for lack of height to make that bar.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 02:41 PM
3

I never moved any goal posts? I never said women only want 6ft men? Stop strawmanning please. Still waiting for the data showing women in aggregate don't like tall men.

They comparable in that they are both largely uncontrollable properties, but not comparable in how they affect overall attractiveness. A girl with small boobs can be an 8, 9, or even 10 depending on the guy you ask. A short dude cannot be an 8. Period. There is no fetish for short men. Womens preferences are simply not as differentiated.

They aren't bad people but it is prone to producing bad results. I don't slut shame, cuz people should do whatever they want, but it's hard for me to say with a straight face that sleeping with hundreds of people will do you a lot of psychological good. It's also hard to say because there are so few examples of what i would call a well adjusted slut. Most I've known have serious issues. So you have this phenomena of sluttiness feeding into mental issues and vice versa.

They are both fallacious ideologies to an extent. But TRP at least has some directions that undeniably will improve your chances. Those mainly being take care of your body. Then again I haven't been on either subs so I'm going by what I've come across tangentially.

They lie, sometimes unintentionally. A women will say they are or are not many things. But around Chad none of that applies. She's whatever will keep him around. Generally most women do not really give you the honest truth about themselves to avoid internal dissonance. Sometimes they let it slip though. One time a woman told me she thought her fiance was not attractive, and admitted she settled, "but he makes good money". Keep in mind this chick was a straight 3 on a good day.

there is no formula There is, you just don't like it because people like you have trouble accepting it. You also assume, because this formula makes you uncomfortable, that someone who knows it must be broken and unhappy or is lying. Yeah I knew a few girls who told me they got nervous or had trouble taking to really attractive guys. Tbh I was so surprised because this wasn't even in a romantic context. Literally just talking to them, about anything, was intimidating to them. Wild.

Lol life isn't a comedy sitcom, this does not work unless you are in the general ballpark of Chad attractiveness (7-10), but even then it's a bit tenuous. There are plenty of interesting ugly people, that aren't rich and famous that get nothing. There are a miniscule amount of good looking people who aren't rich that don't get any (whether they are interesting or not). That is the point that nobody can refute, because it is a statistical fact.

Cool even if what you say is true (I doubt it) it isn't the case most of the time. So your advice really doesn't apply in general. There is no study on the planet that has shown personality is more important than looks, money, or status. You're peddling blue pill nonsense.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/21 04:06 PM

And that 50% is wrong. Again not understanding me here. These two stats: 80% of sex had among 20% of people (80/20) Women finding 20% of guys attractive Are separate things. People here are really bad at basic math. If the preferences of women varied so drastically then the 80/20 stats wouldn't exist. It is most certainly not true. All dating statistics confirm this. For sleeping around, it's rare a guy can grab a girl more attractive than him. Usually the person saying they see ugly guys sleeping with hot women all the time are women. We also know women rate 80% of men unattractive. So in short it makes sense why this gets said alot. People who fall for the "toxic masculinity" bit are doing themselves a disservice. It's not a real issue. Toxic masculinity is when a man women don't like does something they don't like or is perceived out of line. Or when low tier women complain about Chad's behavior (they are really complaining about Chad not giving them the light of day). They then proceed to ridicule all men with criticism. What does exist are jerks and scumbags, but that's hardly a gender specific issue.

What is your point? That's still a whopping 30%. Within the 70% how is the sex distributed? Do you purposely misinterpret data on purpose?

Based on how men rate attractiveness, id say women care far more about sex appeal than men. The rest of the post was also off base, but others have already pointed out why.

Probably matters more for ltrs than casual flings. Out of the trifecta of money, status, and looks, it probably matters the least.

"there's no way to really know" uhh yeah there is. Just ask. Or ask her friends. It doesnt even matter though, I've never met a high n count girl who I was considering for a LTR before I knew what her n count was. It's highly corelated with non ltr characteristics.

Men sleeping around and women sleeping around are not the same, because men and women are not the same. This post is built on an false premise.

1 there's an argument to be made that it is a pretty decent proxy for nightlife but whatever 2 ok it isn't, what's your point. A lot of guys try in real life with similar results. Is it so hard to grasp that people do most everything reasonable in trying to attract women and fail anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 04:52 PM

Lol classic just world fallacy. "If you can't get a girl it's YOU that's doing something wrong." Nah dude. Some people are just ugly. They will get nothing and best case scraps. And a lot of the time, it won't be for lack of trying. These people always existed, but never in numbers as great as they are now due to changing social dynamics. But of course you can never be convinced because it shatters your entire worldview and removes your moral superiority. You care more about preserving that anyt…

Hmm I've never seen that IME but that's a shame if it happens. Ugly guys are invisible everywhere not just on the streets. Most obvious in social settings. Since you're not an ugly guy or even average guy it's probably hard to wrap your mind around the experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 04:39 PM
13

No, a most try and fail alot. I don't blame them, return on investment is shitty for the average guy in terms of asking people out. So they eventually reprioritize and spend time on other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:48 PM
10

It depends, average looking 5-7, I think the feeling might be comparable, any below that they might actually be offended for the guy trying. To a lot of women these guys are supposed to be invisible. In fact there was a study that if asked out by an unattractive dude a woman will behave harsher towards other unattractive dudes or something like that. I've never ever seen men behave this way towards gay dudes. Usually they have an awk conversation and try to make it clear they are not gay asap lo…

Men do care, but not for flings. And at least for me, it's very easy to find out the real number, or an approximate range.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:34 PM

Or just multiply whatever number given by 3 and make judgements from there. Most times she'll eventually tell you anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/21 02:31 PM

Huh? Mathematically you would just shift the phase of the correlation, it doesn't change the correlation. So no those studies are still valid.

I usually just multiply by 3 for a woman and divide by 2 for a man, in my experience that's been the most accurate. Scientifically it's hard to measure this. I think there was a study where when hooked up to a lie detectors, the n count reported by women was sig higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 04:30 AM

Lol at believing self reported stats about n count. Women undercount and men overcount. AWALT is dumb, but to ignore general trends is also as dumb. Also your post did nothing to explain how dishonest men are. They are pretty straightforward about wanting hot chicks this isn't a secret. They won't pretend that it doesn't matter or it doesn't matter lot. That is the difference. I'm not even sure what you're implying men need to be taking responsibility for?

It's always a catch 22 with this particular topic to avoid making women seem shallow. If a nice guy doesn't get any, it's because he wasn't really nice anyway. If he does it's because he actually was. And then the next level of catch, "well niceness is just a minimum", there's more needed etc etc In reality, it's (mainly) because he's just ugly. If you're attractive being nice barely matters to the average woman. If you're ugly being nice probably won't help. This has been established in multipl…

Men don't make excuses and lie about it. Women often do. That's the difference.

I know the difference, touching my arms and chest repeatedly is more than being friendly.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/21 10:58 PM

Yeah I don't think feeling up my biceps counts as "just friendliness". It actually made my girl a bit uncomfortable at the time and we had to talk about it afterwards.

I'm not sure why u keep bringing up the 60s. My point is that women capable of being the breadwinner are still showing a bias for their partners earning more, today. And unsurprisingly u are unable to see the 29% in a different light. If the man is not working that could be from a lot of things. He might not need to work, because he doesn't need to (retired, annuity payout, family money, etc). Or he is still in extended education (grad school, med school, etc) You are assuming this is because he…

U know somehow I legit missed that. Das my b. I do understand your broader point as well. I don't think we are in disagreement on that.

Yeah preselection among women is a thing. I didn't believe this untill I showed up to a party with a girl on my arm and a girl who basically ignored me for months was all up on me. I almost couldn't believe wtf was going on.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/21 04:09 PM

My definition is literally from the dictionary. You are the one who needs to adjust your understanding not me. The US is NOT a patriarchy by the standard definition. If you want to make up meanings to words go ahead, but u are no longer debating in good faith.

38% not 40%. And this number includes marriages where the man isn't making anything at all. In marriages where both earn some amount of money it drops to 29%. You aren't helping your case here at all.

Not going to define bad boy, but my point was u were pointing out a contradiction that doesn't exist. Women have jobs now, they still date up financially. Call it gold digging (which I don't agree with) or whatever, it is the reality.

Eh I guess when I speak in absolutes I think of the average man. So yeah there are some ppl on here who may blame women in a sense for being picky. I haven't seen it much. And it isn't any different no. Being picky about the"wrong" things is what creates single mothers. Of course ppl can do whatever they want, but you can see how annoying it may come off to guys when women complain about men they chose to have relationships with. The average guy does not GAF about revenge fantasies. You spend to…

Monogamy isn't natural, so no you are wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/21 02:08 PM

Nobody blames women for being picky. They resent women for complaining about the consequences of doing so. (eg afbb, waatgm, single mothers, blah blah) Your argument is also kinda weird. Going against our biological urges in many instances help build civilization as we know it today. Reverting back to primordial state in the context of relationships could be a step backwards.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/21 12:21 PM
3

Not really, it's a good proxy metric for other things. I've never met a girl with a high N count that was relationship material. High n count is correlated with bad relationship qualities. by the time I get to knowing a girls actual number, I already know the ballpark. And I've never been wrong. Judging by n count directly is kinda weird and impractical, but would generally work if you did it.

Bad boys != Low earner, so not a contradiction. Women date up and across financially, men date down and across. I don't think any gender deserves the label gold digger, but if one did it would be females based on the data.

I think if a really attractive dude that was out of your league asked you out you would say yes. This is rare, because there's by definition not many of them. So in that sense I agree. Due to the high barrier of attractiveness to inciting lust in the average woman, women do not care about sex as much. But when a man that women wants is involved they definitely do care, quite a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/21 10:46 PM
4

They can care more than the average man depending on a few factors, the primary one being how attractive the man is. There is pretty conclusive evidence around this. You also phrased this weirdly, just because sex comes easier for women doesn't mean they care about it less. Guys don't resent women for getting sex easy. There are guys who resent women for complaining about not being able to find a guy when it's extremely easy to do so as a woman (comparatively)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/21 10:29 PM

That's not the definition of patriarchy. A patriarchy has specific systems meant to subdue and prevent women from amassing wealth or power. That is not the case in the Western world.
