I said three things there. I said libel/defamation is illegal in some places around the world. I said freedom of speech is fine. I said defamation isn't okay. It can seem that I was implying illegal defamation but, I definitely wasn't when I wrote it. I already told you I'm not claiming this to be a case of illegal defamation. I'm not wrong. I know what I wrote and why I wrote it. Implying requires a deliberate intention to do so. If you think I was implying illegal defamation, I wasn't.

I still don't understand why you're going to the protest to stop a discussion of issues. Maybe after the conference when there's clear proof that it was all hate speech, I'd understand an outcry but, until then, there's no validity to the protest.

I think the M&M's analogy works if you can identify which are poisoned. You can tell if a person is an asshole and avoid them, therefore you should be able to spot the poisoned M&M's and not eat them.
