A fun one I did was befriend the entire bar and wait staff at a local restaurant/bar. I then took a couple of dates there, and interacted with them as I usually would. I can't guarantee it helped, but it sure as shit didn't hinder.

Probably 3 months I saw significant improvements in the weights. 5 months I started seeing shape. It was fat loss through fasting that gave the biggest change. The confidence came from elsewhere, but the physique opened doors I didn't know existed.

Personal experience coming from some who had virtually 0 positive interactions with women 12 months ago, and idea of being in shape about 2 years ago was that round was a shape. Get fitter. Keep lift. Get a direction that inspires and chase the hell out of it (I love the band idea).
