Your first point has merit Haha aren't I clever. However even though men are unfairly excluded from domestic abuse shelters and not taken seriously by the courts and police. I still say that it's better to let girls join a formerly boys only organization because it only further proves that the 'feminists' who tell men to go make their own shelters/groups are massive fucking hypocrites. And while I agree that male mentorship is important in a boys life I don't understand what the rite of passage …

Automod removed my comment and I'm just waiting to see if a moderator will approve it right now. In the comment I included links to two articles about the differences between girl scouts and boy scouts. Primarily I believe the boy scouts would be more effective at making girls into outstanding citizens because the boy scouts ranks are based on merit while the girl scout ranks are automatic based on class in school and such. "Both the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts have programs for kids from kin…

This is where I won't be able to put it as eloquently as professional journalists so I'll just include some links to articles and paste in some highlights for people too lazy to click the links. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/nov/23/girl-scouts-boy-scouts-differences Despite the similarities between the programs, a 2011 study in Gender & Society, a journal focused on gender studies, found that Girl Scouts are generally discouraged from scientific pursuits while Boy Scouts are pushed aw…

So you think women incapable or starting their own organization for girls? Sexist much? I never claimed that. I said that it would be incredibly hard and take decades to build an organization that is equal to the boy scouts in respect and fame. No of course not except decades of history and tradition. I don't even understand this claim. If there is a tradition of the boy scouts that would be ruined by girls please let me know what it is, my parents never had enough money to let me join so maybe …

parasitize The inclusion of girls into an organization which seeks to "...prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law." wouldn't be parasitizing it, that would just be allowing an organization to turn more young people into outstanding citizens.

I only meant it as that there's no reason not to include girls. Not as a means to shame people who think otherwise.

That's true that the mothers could have done something like that but the boy scouts are already a respected organization well known throughout the U.S. A new organization wouldn't have the same respect as the boy scouts. Besides it's not like there's something so fragile and precious in the boy scouts that the presence of girls would destroy it.

At least with the boy scouts and girl scouts there's a noticeable difference. One is a respected organization founded to help give kids discipline and values, the other is a business that sells cookies.

No. The people who are in the extreme end of any group are never happy with anything.

Quit your concern trolling and get outta here. No one's falling for it and unless you can prove they're making up stuff you can just go fertilize your garden with those claims.

r/latestagecapitalism is a cesspool of communist revolutionary roleplayers who take everything too far/literally. It's best to avoid it at all costs.

the Jewish lobby, the most powerful lobby in the USA. So where does the coal and oil lobby stand in regards to the all powerful illuminati jewish lobby?
