If you add up what ALL women make and divide it by the number of women, and you add up what ALL men make, and divide it by the number of men, the number on the women's side is roughly 77% of the men's side. The problem is that the 77% statistic is most often thrown around to incorrectly show that women are making 77% of what men make for the same job, which just isn't true. There are dozens, if not hundreds of factors that go into different wages for two people in the same position, including ev…

BUT that "personal choice" that accounts for almost all of the gap is something that feminists often jump on as being out of women's control because "society has conditioned [me] to gravitate towards different fields" as an attempt to derail the personal choice aspect of it. That sort of volunteering up your own agency doesn't seem to have any sort of negative impact in their own minds, though.

Because the tactics feminism uses to "balance the scale" by pushing as hard as possible on one of the sides, knowing that at one point, the scale will be level, but without accounting for what happens when they push too far is one that only gets backlash after equity is achieved. They're learning it from men, and if the men's rights movement tries the same thing, you'd better bet your ass they'll fight back, and the pendulum will keep swinging. If men's rights activists instead take the high gro…

I think it's ironic that the people who don't want to defend someone else when they still need defending use that exact argument as a reason to look down on other groups (men are one of those groups) when they point to evidence that shows that those groups are using the same rationale. Sorry, but sometimes you can group every group together under the umbrella of "humanity" without having to choose a subset to focus on. We're all in this together, and as soon as you divide up into teams, you turn…

It's weird how the closer someone gets to being a "true feminist", the more they just seem like egalitarians.

I have noticed that whenever someone asks whether women like cut or uncut dicks, the overwhelming majority of them say they prefer uncut or that they don't care, which goes a long way on the thoughts and minds front.

Which one is it? marriage is declining, causing a decline in birth rates or too many people are being born out of wedlock Maybe people just don't like being nagged by their kids when they go through one of the loudest, most disorganized box stores out there, and would rather buy toys online in the relative peace and quiet of their own home? Maybe they like supporting local toy stores.

What I worry about is that the truth and what we're all about will be so closely-related to the things that Trump says that they'll be dismissed with the actual garbage that comes out of his mouth, and despite the fact that the men's rights movement hasn't done anything wrong, what we're fighting for will be tarnished by Trump's stank.

Tell people about how everyone has their own problems that they deal with on a societal level, and while it's easier to empathize with the ones that we experience, it doesn't mean that they're either the only problems or the most important ones. While feminism is an alternative to egalitarianism, the men's rights movement is supplementary. It doesn't say that the things we talk about are the only problems out there and propose an alternative to the way society works, it serves to draw attention …

I don't think I'm on board with this...natural selection has definitely steered us in a direction where females trend towards certain traits that have led us to think of those traits as feminine, and males trend towards other traits that have led us to think of those traits as masculine, but it hasn't predetermined personality characteristics overall based on sex. It's needlessly reductive, and it makes you sound bad, not them.

I've worked with and dated a decent number of self-identified feminists, who believe in logic and are sane in every other way, but every time we get into the gritty details of what they believe, it devolves into trickle-down equality, personal exemption from moral agency, and insistence that the grass is always greener on the other side. Without exception (in my experience), they seem to believe that while men can't possibly understand what it's like to face the issues women face, they have the …

Cool, we can just slap the word "patriarchy" on all bad things, and slap the word "feminism" on all good things? If a feminist does something bad, it's the person, not feminism, but if a non-feminist does something good, they're "being a good feminist"? Maybe standing up for all people, regardless of what's between their legs is just being a decent human being, and trying to Hungry Hungry Hippos the good things doesn't actually make your movement better.

I've only been groped by my girlfriend, and none of my friends have talked about anything more than girls grinding on them in clubs. When I get groped by my girlfriend, I grope her right back, and she usually says something along the lines of "It's different when I do it to you!" I always tell her that if she's going to act as if it's ok to do it to me, she should expect the golden rule to come into effect. Of all of my friends, male or female, who say they have been "sexually assaulted", when p…

That's weird, because in a way, it draws attention to all of the ways they do have positive qualities in the real version. If men are so horrible, why would you need to take out parts of a movie where they aren't horrible in order to make a point?

Because being cognitively superior to someone else is completely useless if you don't use those powers to subjugate the group you're cognitively superior to. If you use your powers for good, no one notices, and probably thinks less of you for being so damn normal. Look at Peter Parker. He's just a socially-awkward nerd because he hides his powers.
