1	He ain't wrong I would guess that more American viewers watch a men’s qualifying or group-round stage than for the women, but I would also guess that viewership increases significantly for the tournament, and increases further as you advance. You’d also, I guess, have to disentangle the impact of the sport itself. The American men’s team is not attracting viewers to the World Cup finals, but the women’s team is because the women are actually good in their sport. Nobody's saying women's soccer is as popular as men's soccer.
