-7	Female BBC manager publicly declines promotion over pay inequality \| After she threw a public tantrum, it's revealed that the male manager had several years more experience than her, justifying the difference in pay. The BBC is standing firm for once - good for them! While I think the extra experience the man had probably explains the pay gap, I think this comment is really wrong. Karen even said that she was told if she chose to decline the promotion her career would be damaged, and she’s specifically said she was fighting for equal pay.
