Me being annoyed about being shortchanged is not me assigning morality to being shortchanged.

obviously the phrase nice guys finish last is not in reference to genuine nice guys but passive pushovers and desperate people pleasers These people are not suddenly not nice just because you don't like them.

The argument isn't that "masculine" men get away with abuse The argument isn't that "edgy" guys get away with abuse I think there's been some miscommunication on that. When we refer to "average men" we're talking about guys who both don't look good AND have lame beta male personalities. These are the "average frustrated chumps" the manosphere has been centered around helping for over a decade. As dating discourse shifted focus to apps, where personality is irrelevant, looks became a bigger part …

So does saying misandry don't exist make you a PickMe male?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 08:59 PM

Funny how ya'll don't mock women for getting ragebaited by misogynistic incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 08:56 PM

Looks are not the only things people are superficial about, we don't know how superficially macho or edgy this guy is. Either way this scumbag dog killer was picked over guys who don't do that stuff, so the point stands.

You claim "naturals and blue pillers aren't the same thing", but I'm a natural who doesn't believe in the red pill. I meant they're not inherently the same. Naturals can be blue pillers. I was just saying it's not universal. I believe in all the universal common sense (blue pill) things that the red pill claims as its own (fitness, confidence, etc.) The ideas are not exclusive to the red pill but the willingness to boldly state them basically is, as blue pillers are arguing against such action. …

No specific pill is blue pill. The blue pill specifically denies the red pill. No pill refers to total neutrality/apathy on the subject. A blue piller believes the red pill is false. A no piller has no opinion. Basically a blue piller is if Neo made the elective choice to take the blue pill despite seeing that the red pill existed as an alternative. While the average person hasn't been confronted with a choice of pills like Neo has to begin with, and therefore hasn't decisively invested in eithe…

Incels don’t exist because Red Pill’s “alienated” them. The modern incel community started back on PUAHate, a forum dedicated to calling out snake oil salesman dating coaches. Guys going overboard with their promises is a direct cause of the backlash. turned Red Pill into a Losers Club where they all agree with incels that it’s impossible to improve. It varies, some are simply observing the increasing difficulty and diminishing returns. Whether the juice is worth the squeeze is becoming a big qu…

TRP has had to evolve past blatant delusions because they were alienating too many young men towards the "dark" pill instead. The key is to behave as if you are the prize. It's all about action.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/26 11:18 AM
3

You’re not going to get very far “copying naturals” if you think you’re literally incapable of doing what they do. At the core the non-natural cannot do the exact same as the natural. The non-natural is either authentic or competent; he can't be both. How are you RP if you don’t even believe “I Am the Prize”? Behaving with abundance mentality is the substitute for simply having it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/26 08:06 AM

Naturals and blue pillers aren't the same thing though. Naturals have no specific pill but behave like red pillers. Blue pillers are blue pillers. Some are naturals, some are simps, it's a big spectrum. Sometimes the simp accusations are accurate, but sometimes they're a result of miscommunication. The issue is that a lot of blue pill naturals give advice that won't work the same way for non-naturals. For example they may tell you to be genuine... But that only works for them, since they're natu…

Except they don't, it's constantly said that women should pick better and not sleep with those men.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/26 06:30 AM

This concept is already covered. Naturals do the best. Red pillers are just trying to copy naturals. But imitation is rarely perfect. Nobody is promoting TRP to popular guys saying they're doing better and you should follow them. TRP is promoted to struggling guys, "frustrated chumps", as a potential means to improve their stations.

Piker's an absolute jackass, just not a sexual predator like some of these dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 07:48 PM

Thing is the whole point is that they're highly egregious individuals but still get laid. Basically "these guys total bozo assholes, criminals, and addicts but get sex for XYZ shallow reasons." As long as they have access to women they can't be debunked regardless of any other discredit to them. They get attention not just as low-hanging fruit but because they most blatantly prove arguments the manosphere is trying to make regarding looks/money/status.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 07:46 PM

Clavicular got an interview with 60 Minutes. Society's jumped the shark.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 05:35 PM

The guys who get into TRP were mostly failing at dating before they got into TRP. That's why they looked it up. So why weren't they getting laid before TRP?

A sizable 10% of young males and 7% of their female counterparts in that age group are still virgins. But people are gonna still claim male loneliness isn't a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 09:45 PM
6

Women kinda are a secondary problem here, they judge virgins more harshly than experienced men even though according to your statistics virgin men are part of the tiny 5% of men that don't commit rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:14 AM

I don't get why PPD refuses to believe that people who are more casually sexual are also more likely to commit sexual malpractice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:12 AM
5

Probably similarly bad or worse (men are more likely to get themselves caught cheating/brag about it), but it doesn't really matter since women have free selection of high count or low count partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:10 AM
2

There are character differences between the guys sleeping around and the guys not. If they were the same they'd get similar results.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:05 AM

Women here are often in relationships or marriages, and thus not representative of single women actually available for dating. Also they're wealthier (many upper-middle class) and taller (5'7 average) than the standard woman. A lot of guys here would have no realistic prospects of dating these women.

At least he didn't deny the studies like ya'll blue pillers do when the shoe's on the other foot. Anyway, the data is correct. But her "retire the fantasy" takeaway is not. Regardless of anything she mentioned young women are still more attractive than average, and closer in experience to the types of late bloomers in pill communities than women their own age, so despite potentially poor odds the man should still pursue younger women. What she said doesn't somehow make older women preferable. If…

Guys are afraid of gold diggers but not sugar babies. They have different terms for a reason. What a sugar baby brings to the table is worth the money, what a gold digger brings to the table is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 04:26 PM

So I think its about time men stop spending all their time defending their age gap fantasy - because its just a fantasy. All the stats you mentioned relate to relationships, theoretically casual dating is still possible.

Having good social skills is indicated by people actually liking to interact with you. Not quite, if you compare an attractive woman to an unattractive man many more people will want to interact with the former before either opens their mouth or demonstrates any "skill" at all. But I agree that OP's benchmarks for social skills are off.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 10:44 PM

If she enjoys the sex too then it's literally not a fair deal, she got the same outcome with less risk/work in that case. Basically only relationships where the woman has to do lame duty sex are fair by this logic.

If a man doesnt have thrown courage or confidence to talk to women they cant be shocked or upset when they are alone Sure he can. People constantly discourage approaching nowadays. When a guy follows the rules but sees no way to advance within them he's gonna be pissed. Women don't need the ability to approach. Hell even gay people don't, dating apps actually work for them. They all get to date regardless. The lack of this skill only screws over straight men, so that's an inequality, and if wome…

Involuntarily? How are men involuntarily being stopped from hanging out with friends and social groups? If nobody wants to associate with you then you're kinda stopped from doing that. We're not talking about Republican voting men though, OP specifically referred to men who oppose poverty. Yes that portion of men is supporting men, only for liberal women to fuck it up. Said women don't want to raise the tide they want to raise their own boat, identity politics over class politics.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 10:23 AM

This is mostly true. It's also true that the women who a man respects least of all are ones who have casual sex with others but not him. if you actually do this the men tend to not actually want to be in a relationship with you Realistically they didn't want a relationship with her to begin with.

We can close the pay gap when we close the dating spending gap. Young women make more than young men in many cities yet STILL often expect the man to pay for dates. Kinda bullshit if you care anything about fairness.

The male loneliness epidemic is about both genders? This is like complaining about the anti-Violence Against Women Act not being about both genders. Men are significantly more likely to be totally involuntarily isolated, so yes it's a male loneliness epidemic. There's a broader loneliness epidemic in general but women typically have more options to alleviate it. And that's where it ends. They never actually do anything about it. Common sense says that if the woman doesn't care about social justice in general then obviously they're not being called upon to randomly start caring about the opposite gender. It's the hypocrites being taken to task here. Feminists constantly demand men care about women's problem but often don't reciprocate the support.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:19 PM

Guys are preoccupied with not getting the short end of the stick or being settled for. Loyal commitment is the greatest thing a guy can offer a woman, so they want the woman's best back as well.

I really hate this because it's like she's trapped in having to fuck in a way she doesn't really want, even if she changes her mind, or else he'll presume it's because of a lack of attraction. 1 only applies if the individual slept with other people faster. Either never do that or always do that. I think it's probably best to never do that, but for some reason that advice is often ignored at least once, which then complicates 2 and 3. So yes the problem you bring up is legitimate, OP, but it's largely self-inflicted. Older relatives often advise their young not to have sex too quickly for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 02:38 AM
3

why on earth do you all expect woemn to care about "men" in the abstract I expect people to either care or not care. Not to selectively care (claim manosphere grifters are exploiting men, but not sex workers/OF/etc.). Anyway feminists typically request for men to care about women in the abstract. If they can't do the same in reverse then that expectation is unreasonable.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 11:25 PM
12

We don't agree that either are exploitative, so this isn't about us. Thread is about the hypocrisy of the people claiming manosphere grifters prey on men but not sex workers/etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 03:35 AM

They usually oppose it on the grounds that the women are being exploited, not the men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 02:29 AM

“As long as there are other problems, this must be ignored!” No he's asking why people ignore the other issues and literally never call out women. Shit's obnoxious and warrants dismissal from jump.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 02:28 AM

My only issue is don't do this then act surprised about pump and dumps. Heavily marketed sexuality + high standards = you'll mainly be dealing with popular guys who just want to bang.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:45 AM

Most women are extremely boring in early dating contexts since they don't approach, plan first dates, sexually escalate, anything. If you made most women men and kept their personalities the same they would not get laid. Regardless of their "rich lives wit different goals and hobbies and commitment to art and literature, and rich inner universes".
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 01:40 AM

Difference is that you're not critcizing cooks who put pickles on burgers, so not criticizing customers who like pickles either is consistent.

Your username is literally calling out men just for existing in a state that you don't like, I don't think it's a strong leap to expect women who criticize men for behavior they don't like to also criticize women for encouraging the disliked behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 03:47 AM

Dealing would be legal/decriminalized, purchase would not. That's how many liberal areas handle prostitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:32 AM

We could turn this around and ask the same question of men - if you guys dislike users, women with sexual pasts, and women who date assholes so bad, why are you taking issue with the women and not the men who entertain and reinforce their behaviors? Men have consistently referred to those guys as jerks/bad boys/assholes/scumbags.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:31 AM
1

I rather have men choose to do the right thing (whatever that looks like) despite the positive outcomes of choosing to do the wrong thing. That's completely unrealistic. Especially when the men who suffer as a result of doing the right thing get zero sympathy, and accused of secretly being bad guys when they lament their situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:27 AM

Why would I pushback on a woman for having a different opinion from me? Same reason you pushback on men with different opinions?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:25 AM

Literally no, he's asking why one group of women doesn't call out the other group of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:22 AM
8

Missing the point. OP acknowledges that different groups of women exist. There's no claim of overarching authority. He's asking why women group A doesn't call out women group B, when women group A is perfectly fine with calling out men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 01:18 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 08:14 AM

Rejecting hookup opportunities due to low quality is considered not complying.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 08:27 PM

That's because you're married and would refuse to hookup and/or would otherwise not comply with the kidnappers. I'm single and willing to comply, it just wouldn't be functionally possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 07:44 PM

No it's not. If someone held my relatives hostage and told me I have a week to find a hookup or they all die, I would lose my family. Meanwhile a female equivalent of me with the same weight and facial quality would just go on a dating app and solve the problem in a day.

The girl can cheer herself up with the fact that half of men don't give a shit about the additional stuff Stacy does.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 10:53 AM

Nope, different issues entirely. Older women have fewer options, not no options. Older women experienced being desirable back in the past when they were young. Different from a total social reject being accepted.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 10:51 AM

So not even those women who cut peens off? Please think out your ragebait.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 10:49 AM

I don’t think men understand how judged woman can be. Low value males get judged plenty, they just don't get any partnership alongside it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 10:40 AM

There are plenty of quiet girls who have casual sex though. Hell femcel forums are filled with women who have sexual intimacy but barely any friendships or stable relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 10:37 AM

His point is that an autistic woman could avoid the problems OP mentioned by just never dating or masking. While an autistic man doesn't really get choices; he just can't date or mask by default.

Would you rather be a forever virgin or afflicted with PTSD due to repeated sexual trauma from exes? Men and women are different. Many foreveralone males would prefer the latter. Autistic men often have PTSD for other reasons regardless.

why would women fight for the right to vote, work snd control their own money? None of that contradicts their ability to extract resources from others. Women still expect men to pay for dates/etc. despite making their own money. And why now that most women rely on their own resources, are we seeing the rise in loneliness of young men? Government assistance replaced young men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/26 04:21 AM

He's exaggerating but he's not just making stuff up. As he said, women aren't gonna get it lol. In order to experience that, it requires that a woman feels valued and respected as an equal first Many real life examples say otherwise.

I think I used to be empathetic towards women's dating but the more I interact with them (especially on this sub) the less empathy I have left in me. Same, I started off agreeing with feminists lol. Like being desired by the physically stronger and typically more aggressive sex. That is a very scary thing Thing is weak passive men tend to be avoided, so it's hard to think women have that big of an issue with the strong aggressive ones, despite the obvious risks. Basically yes, all these problems are real... But a lot of the time people seem to be walking into them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/26 03:41 AM

Do you understand women's perspective? Probably. Do you feel like you sympathize/empathize with them? No, since I'm not a sucker who provides unreciprocated support. The modern social discourse is like shaming a homeless bum for not volunteering for charity. Society fucks me over but I'm the sole bad guy for not propping it up? Screw that. How well do you understand women's reasoning? Well enough, but not enough to care. For that to change they would need to stop throwing low value males under t…

There are guys who have no options from the other gender whatsoever. At that point it's kind of a broad gender thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 11:50 PM

And how many of those guys in real life you speak with are actually virgins/never got any women?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 08:43 PM

The point of having kids is achieving purpose, producing people with a lifelong loyalty to you (if you don't suck as a parent), and being properly cared for when you're older. Many people consider the sacrifices worth it. and so is the perceived need to have a man in your life. Quite the leap, I'd think there'd be more virgins if that were any particularly popular notion.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 12:38 PM

Your claims contradict. "women aren't sharing the top men" "women are more likely to have rosters" If you have a roster then you're probably sharing, it's unlikely for someone to be part of a roster but only bang the one roster holder. Usually if you're on one roster then you're on multiple rosters.

The idea may be offensive but the nature of biological sexuality doesn't change based on what we find culturally acceptable. All else equal women typically reach peak beauty in their 20s. I'm only referring to what turns dudes on the most, not necessarily who they'd actually try to date in real life.

TRP is about doing whatever it takes to achieve your biological imperative (getting laid). In a theoretical situation where you literally can't do it within the current social paradigm, it would actually be encouraged to do everything within your (limited) power to shift the status quo. Even if that includes whining. "Stop whining" advice would only be given in the case where there was a more productive action than whining. But it could be argued that for sufficiently autistic males below a cert…

Oh boy! So glad to know age no longer matters to men. Men want hot 20 year olds, whether the man himself is 18 or 80. That helps my point. The preference is completely detached from the man's own ranking. It's absolute. Someone should let the men with age range filters set from one year older to two decades younger know this lmao The filters are set based on realism and social customs, not preference. We're not magically becoming more attracted to older women over time, we're just adding them to…

Yes, it’s assortive mating basically. But these guys often seem to reject the idea of assortive mating and try to claim that ALL women only want the best men. Because assortive mating still fails some men. For some reason their woman equivalents do not want them. Compare to thug criminals, who constantly get their assorted partners. It then becomes obvious that the thug criminals get credit for being tough and edgy. Which fits the notion that women like powerful masculine men, and do not like gu…

For the love of... Between an accomplished CEO, a drug cartel kingpin, and a stereotypical guy on Reddit, who is lower status? The answer is obvious. The cartel leader being a degenerate dreg does not make him low status. My issue is that they claim hypergamy. Women only going for the best men. But also saying they are always going for the worst men Yes you can, there are different hierarchal lines to judge people by. What is it? We can't be going for the creme of the crop while also going for the shitty people Both are the creme of the group, one in social status while the other in masculine reputation/street cred. And this the REAL redpill: no one is impressed by a guy just because he doesn’t commit crime. Okay, so the women don't exist, and your thread is pointless. There is no group of women that these guys are ignoring. Women who want good men expect more than just a baseline requirement. They expect a bunch of things unrelated to morals. Any men not getting picked proves the point. There are no non-picked women, any woman can get tail on a dating app, thanks to men not being hypergamous. Men having to pay for the first date proves the point harder. Women want to date up financially, so he has to pay more.

It’s hypergamy to them because masculine traits are good and worthy of admiration to them, and feminine traits are dull and inferior. Strength is the result of hard work, soft breasts aren't. Come on now.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 09:08 AM

Their belief in female hypergamy is entirely unfalsifiable: there is no possible measurement that could ever be made that would convince them that a woman is not inferior to a man she has sex with. No, it's pretty easy to prove on paper if that ever happens. I don’t think the guys who believe women are “hypergamous” are even aware that they’re also admitting that they think men are superior to the women they end up with. In most cases the dude put far more work into courting the woman than the reverse. What else are we supposed think? To be fair I think women are better than men on average in many non-dating contexts. But it is pretty clear who's taking on the lion's share of responsibility in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 08:56 AM

Indeed. If the best a woman can get is a guy she views as lower in the relevant hierarchy, she just won't date anyone. So there's more going into the calculation than just "the best she can get". But his explanation is still useful.

I don’t believe some men can actually be in love with a woman. We can. If the 6 had a nicer personality than the 8 then we would marry the 6. Nature compels us to sleep with both, but only the more compatible woman deserves lifelong commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 08:45 AM
2

I personally think men are hypergamous Men are not hypergamous, nothing about our sexual preferences is determined by how the woman compares to ourselves. We want the hottest women, most feminine women, etc. but just wanting the best you can get is not hypergamy. A man will dumpster dive if the best he can get is below him. A woman will just outright stay single if the best she can get is below her. That's the difference between non-hypergamy vs. hypergamy.

A woman doesn’t actually care if the man is “ better than her” she just wants the best she can have out of a man regardless of her own position. No, that's how men think, not women. A woman's standards get stricter as she herself improves. A 5'4 woman is far more likely to want a 5'10 man than a 5'10 woman is. Why would a guy be happy with paying for a date, then never seeing the woman again? They basically got used for a trip. We've moved past the point where women are expected to sleep with guys they date. So in a lot of cases the guy is paying for nothing. Women's gender roles were enforced societally. (ex. a masculine behaving woman was ostracized by her family and peers) Men's gender roles are enforced individually. (ex. a feminine behaving man cannot get laid) Feminism eased societal enforcement of gender roles, but not individual enforcement. It should not be a surprise that men are turning against feminism in this case. Since women being free from gender roles but men still having to adhere to them to date feels like a scam.

Because from where I see it, all it has done is create a society in which women are now expected to work full-time, but also still do the bulk of the domestic labor. Feminism has removed a ton of weight off of the shoulders of men and placed it squarely onto women. That only benefits men in domestic relationships with women (and only if they don't prefer housewives). Feminism has made it a lot harder for a man to actually get to the domestic relationship stage.

But if the work still would not get him the results he wants then he is objectively not the problem. You're assuming the outcomes are available to everyone if they just put in enough work. That is not always the case. Also, the requirement for him to do disproportionate amounts of work is also not his fault.

It's doubtful that the successful men are facing all of his exact limitations. And also, you're underrating random chance. If I play the lottery but someone else wins that doesn't mean I somehow played the lottery wrong. It just means there was a low chance of winning, and while he got lucky I did not.

Regardless, you would likely find relationship options eventually if you allowed online courtship from mid and below men and vetted them for morals and commitment (ex. not having sex right away). The guys saying they cannot get relationships mean they have no options in any environment.

Do you think it's okay for 10s to have this attitude? It's not okay for anyone to have that attitude, but it's at least more understandable and tolerable the more attractive you are. I can easily not to talk to especially attractive women. I would have to actively go out of my way to avoid average women, which is annoying and severely cuts down my approach options. She could be apple-shaped with a fat gut and toothpick legs and have a completely different (lower) level of sexual attractiveness. Yes, that would be ugly instead of mid. Men continue to ignore how sexual dimorphism specifically affects this. A little extra fat doesn't make her as "ugly" as a man with a little extra fat, and it's not because men have lower standards. I'm sure that's the case sometimes, but in other scenarios the women have literally posted themselves that their "best sex" was with those guys. I do not think we are correct when we say we are attracted to most women, in fact, its imprecise. What most of us mean, is most women do the job of the minimum Which means that men's minimum is not hypergamous. That is the only distinction being made. practically speaking however, as do our porn tastes reveal, we all have a certain type of "stacy" we are actually attracted to. And? Nobody said men aren't attracted to hot women. It's just that preferences are not requirements.

He said "of himself" so presumably they're equally facially attractive. It's hilarious how much women are trying to skate around this question. Most humans find face symmetry more attractive than a number on a tape measure, you are quite unusual. This is not a gender difference, this is about you personally being an extreme outlier. Ask most men here and we'll agree with OP that we'd find the female version of ourselves attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:49 AM

That is why some women who aren’t even that good looking get treated very well by their man who is obsessed with them he thinks she’s good looking and that’s all that matters. On the flipside there are women who are drop dead gorgeous who get treated like crap by their man. That's entirely on their choice of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:42 AM

So might as well give up on even trying to present adoration, agreeableness, and lack of opinion voicing. Most women aren't hot, so they'd still need to compensate. I mean who wants to be like that anyway?😵‍💫🤢🤮😵 I would be like that if it was what women wanted. It's easier to do than what they actually want. The real honesty is in being who you are regardless of what you think is generally sought after. Men can't afford to do that unfortunately.

I think a big problem is that when people complain about ‘not getting attention’ or not being able to date, it’s because they’re aiming for conventionally attractive people that everyone else also wants. LMAO no mens dating advice is just as trash as womens. Getting dates/etc. is way easier for women, so it's impossible to give them equally bad advice. They could take advice from a toddler and still functionally date. Women's advice is uniquely able to lock a man out of dating. Mens advice is self serving and always boil down to “give him a chance he’s just awkward maybe you approach him hey don’t overthink that” which will just result with a woman getting pumped and dumped. Two reasons why the issue differs: Women tend to not give advice regarding what men actually want to do, that being sparking instant sexual attraction and getting laid quickly. Men will honestly give advice for anything women are asking about; if they want to be hot we'll tell them they should lose weight if they're fat, wear makeup if they're ugly, and be flirtatious, if they want to be desirable for relationships they should be nice, soothing, and keep a clean dating history, and if they want …

So then I ask you - if you’re a straight man - why aren’t you able to make that detached by when your female partner (real or hypothetical) has multiple partners? If the dudes got to do the same thing then there generally wouldn't be a problem.

blaming another person for your own shortcomings Dude, if you cast baseless blame on someone they're gonna do the same back. It's like the contrapositive of saying that if men were to say en masse that they like assertive women, that women should become caricatures of boss babes - no, that'd be offputting AF. Boss babes still get laid and thus can still get away with that takeaway. That similar leeway is not extended in reverse makes the alleviation of gender roles sound like an illegitimate agenda only intended to benefit women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/26 03:32 PM
7

They think it shouldn't matter that they don't have financial stability. There are broke guys who get laid. She's probably banged broke guys before too. Why do I suddenly have to have money? I respect the standard if she's always lived by it, but otherwise fuck that. But you still have to be attractive, and that means effort. Conveniently women don't have to follow gender roles to be sexually desirable yet men largely do. It's completely fucked up.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/26 03:28 PM

It's really irrelevant how happy women are single. Are they happier than men while totally celibate and/or virginal? Because that's th3 actual fair comparison.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/26 03:25 PM

I am clearly asserting that your example doesn't adequately support the claim of a contradiction. There are probably better ways to make said point.

Who commits the most crime? Certainly not the people with the "feminine" set of traits, the law-abiding peaceful folk. But TRP isn't about what's "good" it's about what gets straight men laid. Unfortunately men with "feminine" personalities don't get laid, and guys who worship women also don't get laid, so even if women have the superior set of traits to men overall, it doesn't benefit us at all to glorify them.

Nobody needs advice for how to sleep with men. So yes in this context it's just women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 08:48 PM

The advice is simply given as-is, regardless of whether the listener is willing to partake. Most of the men that need the advice to begin with probably won't take it. But that doesn't change its necessity level.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 08:46 PM

No, most men are naturally like that. The ones who need the advice are the portion who aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 08:43 PM

There's not much point bringing up the many bad aspects of men when women incentivize most of them. TRP is about being desirable to the opposite sex. If I have to advise you to do bad things then it's inconvenient for me to also have to constantly remind you that you're becoming a worse person. It sends mixed messages. But to be clear yes many men are bad. I think women tend to be terrible at telling which are bad and avoiding them, though, hence why the widespread mistreatment of women persists…

What is the actual issue here? Everyone knows women in sports are unlikely to support Trump, hence why the invitation was used a subject of comedy, and predictably got rejected.

I usually oppose US globalism but I fully support their operations against the Mexican drug cartels. The problem is just too close to home and the Mexican government has proven largely incapable of handling the matter alone. Ever since America got El Mencho taken down yesterday the cartels have already killed 25 innocent Mexican soldiers in response. It's time to bury these monsters.

To be fair I think a lot of people are using "just be yourself" as alternative way of saying "don't be shy", which is technically something you really usually can't afford to be as a straight man... But the phrasing overlooks the the fact that some dudes are in fact naturally timid, passive, and submissive. In their cases they have to be the opposite of themselves lol.

All the remaining advice is "how to keep someone you want to keep, once you got them". Again, useful as fuck when you are attractive. Most attractive guys do struggle with the mid-term relationship things like this Thing is I'm pretty sure many of those attractive dudes are already aware of the advice, but don't care. You don't sleep with dogs nor are they intellectually stimulating, and the connection is conditional on personal support rather than attraction which is the whole reason guys are wary of older women to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 08:30 PM

My younger bro's young girlfriend forces him to watch shitty anime but also tolerates him being unemployed, living with family, and being abusive. Sure seems more favorable than my options. I'm a man so I don't give a flying fuck if a woman is anxious, poor, or submissive at work, and being naive to manipulation is a plus since that means it'd be easier to keep her attracted. The stuff ya'll women like and the stuff us dudes like are very different things.

Thing is the problem isn't that she put out early, it's that she got with the types of guys who use women for sex. Judging someone for having a hook up at some point or for having past casual relationships is stupid, and the fact that the person's standards changed or are different at a later point in life generally has to do with multiple variables. Well we're just different, I actively bitch about Reddit bans on Reddit while no longer Reddit banned. The ban literally no longer applies but I'm still mad it ever existed. Men bitch about no paper abortions even if they don't have sex. Men bitched about Michelle Obama proposing taking pizza out of US school lunches despite being years out of school. We bitch about no free speech laws in the UK/etc. despite never going there. Unfair treatment is very serious business to men.

It is a sexist, self-owning term that only exists because of men who are too insecure about their own lack of sexual success that they feel the need to insult women--women who are living the life they so desperately wish they had, by the way. Men are not going out and dating the women they complain about here. Most of the complaints are about not getting to date at all. They're just telling it like it is, while everyone that disagrees is bitching about nothing! Nobody said the bitching was about nothing, we're saying that many women are still choosing the guilty men over lonely innocent men anyway, so their complaints are hypocritical.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:40 AM

If temporarily getting someone to put up with him is success, you could argue that he's successful. They're successful compared to the guys who get nobody. "The ladies who can be tricked" aren't a demographic men should aspire to impress. Yes they are if the alternative is nobody.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:21 AM
3

I've seen plenty of people argue that many of the men who post here are struggling with dating because of their bad personality because they have a bad personality. And that's still nonsensical, since they were still failing at dating before they had toxic personalities, and the failure is what caused it to begin with. Deflecting to personal attacks and refusing to explain why there are actual morally good guys who still never get to date is why young men don't buy the blue pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:04 AM

It's true that many bluepillers often overestimate how important being "good" is for dating, but many redpillers underestimate it. Mentally stable women tend to go for decent men. TRP is going for the women who are into TRP, though. It's not known how to make a random guy appealing to all these non-TRP-wanting women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:26 AM

Just saw another story where some guy's wife, who chose him for "personality", cheated on him with Tinder Chad. You should absolutely not date someone you had to win over with "personality" if they're willing to hook up with others regardless of personality (i.e. just from seeing them on a dating app). Raw sexual attraction must be the foundation.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 01:47 AM

Second, if a guy can't meet the standards of women who want to be hit on, why would he meet the standards of women who don't want to be hit on? Trump and the GOP need to hurry up and make English the official language of the US already. That's like one of the main reasons to have them in power. So why do men complain that they don't get casual sex when they don't think women should have it? You should stop worrying about women having casual sex with other men and accept that it isn't for you. You're the guy women come to for something serious, there's nothing wrong with that. I don't want anything serious with women who have casual sex, unless they're similarly sexually liberated with me. They can easily go get other men.

Problem is your interpretations of implicit beliefs are going to fail since you're not a man and don't grasp how men think. Explicit belief: Women claim they want the nice guy or good men, but they always want the bad boy as long as he’s hot. Implicit belief: When women say they want nice guys / good men, they must mean they’d be willing to have casual sex with any guy who isn’t a felon. No. It just means they shouldn't get intimate with bad men. Women’s standards for what counts as a “good man”…

So then inexperienced people can't be confident. Yet straight men can't gain experience without confidence. The double bind proves my point.

Blue pill has a serious problem with spreading "just be confident bro" rhetoric yet constantly saying things that would make men not confident.

The blue pill is wrong. Beyond whatever it means specifically it's wrong because it denies the red pill, which is by far the view closest in line with actual human studies. And no it's not "everything that isn't the red pill". The blue pill is specifically against the red pill. It's possible for someone to be pill agnostic (no pill) or moderate between the two (purple pill) instead.

Dems now threatening to force the Trump family to testify on Epstein after the GOP subpeona'd the Clintons. Shouldn't they, like... Just do it? Trump is obviously guilty. If Dems can bring him in then they should just do it, instead of threatening to do it as some sort of revenge for the Clintons, making it look like they're trying to protect filthy pedophile Bill.

Well yes, if we limit the context to dating then those guys aren't losers, but limiting the context like that creates a circular definition problem. "Women don't want to date losers." "How are they losers?" "Because women don't date them." "Why don't women want to date them?" "Because they're losers." "How are they losers?" Men are not saying X happens to all men so much as all men must do Y to avoid X happening to them. I.e. all men have to be socially dominant or otherwise sexually desirable to not get excluded from dating. "Below average" men are just men who do less of that.

No I mean literally no options. No women available. I don't think a man can have just any set of looks and personality traits and still have women interested in partnership. The guys here talking about there being no women are mostly being completely literal and serious.

No woman is going to conclude that, the most politically correct option is what they said, "go try somewhere else I guess 🤷‍♂️". One can try this with AI too, feed enough negative attributes into the equation and eventually it'll basically just tell you to move. It'll never go "women are picky and hypergamous and you should lie to them" since that violates the guardrails.

Real life dating for straight men is hell on earth by default. Look at everything guys are expected to do in offline dating, how likely they are to be rejected and even seen as creeps, etc. Offline is only a better experience for women. Hence why dating apps are 70-80% male, since offline absolutely sucks for men.

Or they say that women pay attention to looks and then are surprised when they end up with shallow men, subtly equaling good looks with shallowness in a person. So the better you look the more shallow you are? No people in general are shallow, but ugly men don't typically have access to women who are hotter than the one getting the advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 03:17 PM

Even if one takes that as true, it still does not change the simple fact that each sex is capable of trends that would members of the opposite sex on them. So your implication that the guy must've always been misogynistic is just false.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 03:12 PM

Even though you could argue similarly that lying to bypass those standards actually justifies the 'pickiness' you're complaining about, as it proves that being cautious is necessary to avoid being misled. Nobody is talking about that type of pickiness.

It is ridiculous to only think misandry comes from poor treatment while misogyny is just some natural thing.

But for (basically) every character type there are many others out there who match that well. The people with one character type can greatly outnumber the people who match it. Flat earth has overwhelming amounts of contradictory studies. Red pill has basically none. The most blue pillers have managed is, "this study doesn't mean what you think it does / is outdated / is cherrypicked / comes from a biased source" but they still generally fail to produce contradictory studies regardless.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:20 AM

And if thats true wouldnt we expect that after a few generations there would be fewer objectively undesirable men ( atleast in things like height ) than there are now ? The problem persists regardless because nothing prevents short (or otherwise unfavored) women from reproducing in either system. Their genes will perpetuate the traits. So it just is what it is.

It doesn't really work in this specific context. In the past being rich made you god, you got the best possible treatment accessible to men back then. In the present being rich just makes you rich; you're still not higher status in dating than Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:56 AM

You’re comparing being a decent match back then to a “Chad” now. Because being a decent match back then was the ideal being aspired to. Men just want the woman they're with to treat them like the best. If the best is being nice provider husband, as was the case back then, then that's fine. But modern social dynamics flipped the ideal treatment to something unobtainable for many men. It causes complications. Naturally charismatic and extremely attractive people were rare back then too. It’s naive to think getting rich was easier in the past. Social mobility is a fairly recent development, and for most people, discrimination and class barriers severely limited their chances. I'm not saying it was "easy". Just that it's "easier" than becoming the guy who gets a bunch of matches on hookup apps. There are many men that can pass the looks threshold (even if just barely), but those morons will still talk themselves out of getting laid. But they're not doing that via "bad personality" they're doing that via being socially awkward, neurodivergent, and autistic. Bad at communication ≠ bad person. Morals have no actual effect on the initial dating stages. Asserting otherwise is where blue pillers lose people.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 02:07 AM

Yes, but: Just working harder and earning more money was theoretically easier than meeting the modern requirements for ideal treatment, which are potentially intrinsic and inaccessible. The parents would be the target of resentment instead of the woman herself, at least.

Women are generally shorter than men. Already went over this shit, a woman dating a taller man by coincidence is not hypergamy, it's the specific requirement of, "my guy has to be taller than me" that's hypergamy. Unless men go around thinking, "my girl's gotta have bigger breasts than me" the analogy is junk. Men are not comparing their chest sizes to women's. If there's no comparison then there's no hypergamy. Even morbidly obese men aren't sporting DDs Nor are all attractive women. and even i…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 08:15 PM

Regardless it clearly doesn't interfere with their dating preferences. The obsession with tallness in dating is only widespread among straight women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 08:05 PM

They want women with bigger breasts than them. Men don't generally have female breasts at all. This is like saying women are hypergamous for wanting men with bigger Ds than them, which would be asinine; things exclusive to one gender do not count, as there is literally nothing to compare between the two. Even we do count them, the statement is still false. An obese man is still going to be equally attracted to a standard hot woman as a non-obese man is, even though the obese man technically has …
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 06:40 PM

Because men's physical preferences aren't based on a personal comparison. Men just want hot women. They don't care if the woman isn't as hot as them. A hot dude's and an ugly dude's attraction to a mid woman will be the same. How the guy himself looks doesn't factor in at all. Unlike how a 5'3 woman is significantly more likely to want a 5'8 man than a similarly 5'8 woman is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 06:29 PM

Wanting a partner who spends more money than you is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:49 PM

If women still disproportionately care about partner earnings and spending that's still hypergamous, doesn't matter if it's less so.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:34 PM

Since men largely don't give a damn we can safely conclude that it's women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:21 PM

Hypergamy (colloquially referred to as "dating up" or "marrying up"\1])) is a term used in social science for the act or practice of a person dating or marrying a spouse of higher mating value than themselves. It says it's about mating value in general, not just finances. But women generally prefer their men earn equal or more, and spend more on dates initially, so even by that metric hypergamy isn't disproven.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:01 PM

My favorite is when they pivot to just basic sexual dimorphism, which is in OP too. Like yeah women usually date men taller than them… coincidentally, most men are taller than most women! Dudes are referring to the specific preference of "he must be taller than me", not just women coincidentally dating taller men but not actually caring about height.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 04:55 PM

Thing is if Nick Fuentes specifically was insecure about his height, why would he willingly take a picture with a bunch of ~6'3 dudes to begin with? The assumption makes no sense in this case. One only reaches this conclusion here if they themselves have already attached negative connotations to being short.

Any group of people can have assholes. I'm not saying the whole manosphere is assholes, just those specific dudes. Assholes often do well with financially and sexually, so I'm not necessarily saying they're wrong to be assholes, but it still is what it is. Contrary to some red pillers here who are decent men of culture.

Yes they are. 🤣🤣🤣 All the time. The pic is a bunch of dudes online conservatives love. The proof is this conversation. How can a conversation between a few random people who don't know the guy prove that he's insecure about his height? The insults worked. The point of insults is presumably to work on the target. If your insults do not piss off the target, but instead random people who already didn't like or agree with the guy you insulted, but now also hate you too, that's a failed insult. There…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 07:19 PM

Except they do care. That’s where a lot of the anger and the insecurity comes from. But the other dudes in the pic are just as angry and insecure and some of them look fine. There is literally no way to tell why someone is an angry insecure asshole. Assuming it's because of X is bestowing negative connotations upon X.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 07:09 PM
1

No, it proves that mocking someone's shortness hits the insecurities they were trying for. If the dude cared at all about this why would he even take a pic with half a dozen dudes a head taller than him? The presumption of insecurity makes no sense in this context. There's no proof. The only way to make this logical leap is if you have a default assumption that shortness is a bad thing and thus men are ashamed of it to begin with. The grifter probably knew these cretins would react this way, pis…

How? Nick doesn't give a single fuck, otherwise he wouldn't have let himself get heightmogged to begin with. Stephen Miller didn't give a fuck. Mike Johnson doesn't give a fuck. These are rich influential dudes who do whatever regardless. All the liberals "hurt" is random short guys without money or power who see that even when every dude in a particular group is a piece of shit fascist, liberals will still hypocritically hate on the one who doesn't fit conventional beauty/masculinity standards …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 06:57 PM

Well yeah but Nick gets even more gay jokes lol (perhaps understandable since he's the only virgin in the pic, but still). But still they didn't get bodyshamed, only the short guy did. Because libs hate short guys just like everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 06:53 PM
2

Then that proves there's a bias against shortness that doesn't exist against tallness. A lot of the people in those comments said Nick's vileness made it "not surprising" that he's short. As if being short has something to do with negative personality traits. But when most of the villains in the pic are tall guys, why was there no similar assumption tallness gave them big egos or something? Because simply liberals are superficial shallow fucks just like conservatives. There's no higher ground.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 06:51 PM

Obviously, because they are not those things. I'm saying they insulted the short guy for being short but not the tall guys for being tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 06:31 PM

As a man I would date the female version of myself. If I was a woman then I'd have the same obnoxious hypergamy standards women do, there's no reason to assume otherwise, so I guess not.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 06:10 PM

Morals are propaganda. People tell you not to do X but let then do it themselves and let those they favor also do so. Look at all the sex pest politicians and religious figures. All the people calling you porn-brained while having frequent casual sex themselves. Constant hypocrisy meant to isolate you in boredom while they do whatever they want.

In the recent photo of Nick Fuentes and all the other manosphere assholes (Tate, Myron, Clavicular, Sneako, etc.) only Fuentes got mocked for his height. Most of the vile pieces of shit in the picture are tall. If you wanted to make an observation about looks but were unbiased about it, you'd conclude that tall guys were more likely to be scum. In that generation, it is assumed that the woman works AND does the majority of household chores and childcare - this is the main thing that I do feel like is changing. A lot of men back then wanted their wives to stay at home, and pre-2008 recession it was economically feasible for that to be the case. Gender roles were way more enforced (constant messaging of this gender is x, that gender is y, this gender should do x, that gender should do y) and it was less socially acceptable to stray from …

Rather than admit that, they pretend all want felons and had a bunch of hookups. One is enough, and you have said elsewhere that most women try hookups at least once. So therefore, unless hypergamy is real, most men should be getting to have at least one hookup too. A guy wanting one hookup is not "focusing on a small percentage of the population" at all by your own logic. He wants one of the many (by your own admission) women who are going to try it or already have.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 01:12 AM

Every time a blue piller's brain is too small for civil discussion they resort to personal attacks. Nobody has to change their flair just because they disagree with you on which personality traits are attractive. There are countless dudes with tons of friends who still get no ass. Just talking to people platonically is not sufficient for pulling women. Shut the fuck up. 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 10:46 PM

That remark helps my point. Being "tactful socially" has nothing to do with sexually arousing women. Men get told to be "tactful socially" and master kind consideration yet still get flat 0 women, then wonder why they were lied to about what traits to focus on.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 10:13 PM

Suicide & becoming a social pariah sounds a lot harder than adapting to the changing environment around mating. The requirements for superficial charm and looks are rising, it's becoming increasingly unacceptable to approach in real life but it's impossible to stand out on dating apps, and most of the behavioral advice men get during their formative is liable to make them less sexually desirable instead of more.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 09:35 PM

It's bad if she wouldn't have been willing to just sleep with the average guy too. Men generally would've been willing to just sleep with every single woman they ever date, so their marriage partner is not being settled for in that regard. Also men are not Stacy only in either context to begin with. I said nothing about only exploring with Stacy or only dating Stacy. You added a whole discriminatory distinction, so of course that changes the dynamic.

We really got women in here saying, "that's only if she's young" or "that's only for casual sex". Those are literally all that matters at first, who so GAF about other scenarios. A dude just starting out in dating wants to explore, not immediately hop to boring old people relationships.

It's sure not settling in the specific relevant context being referred to, though. Virtually no man is dating a woman that he wouldn't have been willing to have casual sex with instead. Unless he just doesn't believe in casual sex at all. Meanwhile PLENTY of women who've had casual sex are dating guys who wouldn't have made the cut for it. 7 inches is above average and often described as an ideal functional length. Bigger may be more visually attractive but not necessarily the best for actual sexual acts.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/26 02:40 PM

If the trans man physically and vocally passes for male then the women rejecting him have no idea that he's trans yet, and therefore that's not the cause of the difficulty spike. You have a point if the trans man is losing interest from women in the dating phase after having revealed he was born a woman/doesn't have a D/etc., but if he's not even getting to the point where he can share that information then no it's not the source of the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 11:29 PM

Just saw another thread where a trans man complains about how much harder it is to get with women after transitioning. It's wild how people deny this is a thing. We really have blues/purples here saying, "lesbians just know other women better than straight men do, that's why they do better, straight men need to level up." 🤓 No, they're just held to lower standards, women trust other women more than they trust men.

If I can literally objectively verify a clean history and mindset there's no reason not to.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 08:07 AM

The simple truth is that we're constantly battling negative suspicions regardless. So many men are paranoid about their partners potentially cheating or trying to "upgrade". Theoretically, knowing the truth would lessen all the false accusations out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 06:41 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 06:37 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 06:00 AM

You have zero experience attracting straight women as a straight man. It's a completely different thing compared to whatever you do instead. Like the other guy said, if you've been healthily fed your whole life then you have no experience battling starvation.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 05:25 AM

But men would not be attempting to be emotionally available and mature, failing to attract anyone anyway, and lashing out at women for misrepresenting their preferences. Nor would people be telling those guys they're alone because of their "toxic personalities", when in reality they're alone for lacking looks, social skills, and/or assertive masculinity. The whole "bitter nice guy" element is removed.

I already have enough red pill knowledge. Idle knowledge isn't all that great, you still need to the ability to functionally apply it. Being able to see all sexual history would give me immense social leverage and let me know almost exactly how to approach, what traits to emphasize, who's down for casual, who's worth committing to, what their standards are, etc. It completely clobbers the other ability. /r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 04:56 AM

That's great for ya'll, though the behavior wouldn't have been "naive" with the right decent honest man so it's understandable if he still seeks it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 04:55 AM

But why not be Patrick Bateman? He gets laid. There are other consequences to being like him, but they're not relevant to the basic act of finding partners, which is all some dudes are focused on. The reality is that you have to get your foot in the door before dealing with what's inside the building. A dude struggling to take the first step isn't well-served with premature worrying that he might become like Bateman.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 04:46 AM

Yeah status kinda blows on dating apps since if you were so high status you wouldn't need a dating app, just being there is massive reduction to one's aura.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 04:42 AM

Those guys seriously date 9-10s but they hookup with/have situationships with less attractive women. That's the root of the modern pairing issues.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 08:34 AM

The simple fact is that nobody gives a fuck what women consider a - if it's presence or absence doesn't actually change who gets to date. Chads and fuckbois are still getting laid despite misogyny. Every virgin on this forum would still be a virgin even if they were all running feminist blogs. Since it changes nothing for 99% of the audience men do not care to hear about this issue. Women weigh a man's level of misogyny more heavily in the intermediate and late phases of dating. But by then the …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 08:27 AM

Unnecessary because there is no woman who can't get laid. As the dude mentioned the chromosome change is required.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 08:20 AM

Know yourself, dont put up a fake front, dont hate women or yourself, show some care and kindness...you will get dates. Dude, you just mentioned that a lot of the women you spoke to mentioned having terrible toxic boyfriends. So if some assholes are dating, it logically follows that some non-assholes are NOT dating. So this advice clearly isn't sufficient for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 08:18 AM

Then how are there still non-radical men who can't get laid?

In your case you're justified in being annoyed, you've earned equal relationships, but with the common woman there's an unspoken contract in place that a guy to bring X things to the table, and naturally he's gonna expect Y things back.

If leadership is irrelevant in 2026 you might want to inform all the women that still require men to approach them, plan dates, pay, and escalate sexually. Since even if you don't need a leader if you're taking 0% of the initiative relative to the other person's 100% you're still basically being led. And if protection is irrelevant in 2026 you might want to inform all the women that still want big strong tall men. Can't exclusively select for protection-related traits but then go, "well actually…

A disgusting violent incel doesn't believe you as a woman warrant a constructive response, so there's literally no point asking them. While a disgusting violent fuckboi is gonna tell you to get in the kitchen because you love the D. The rest of us are just gonna stress that there's a lot of effort women disproportionately request from men too, and that if compromises are going to be made on this then they shouldn't only benefit one gender.

Now when I point out, "Plenty of autistic males have empathy, autists actually statistically rate higher in empathy than neurotypical people on average, yet even the autistic dudes with empathy are still treated worse..." OP will respond with, "Having empathy doesn't entitle you to anything!!!" Trying to make me look entitled and completely deflecting from the main point that her original assessment was inaccurate. Threads on repeat. 2026, same as 2025.

Being considered a hookup guy is respect to us. Men and women view respect differently.

I'm not seeing the issue. Men and women are different and value different things. That I cannot even perceive what the alleged problem is with the scenario your presented is a testament to that. We know for a fact that most men on dating apps aren't considered fuckable, so being part of the group that happens to be is a high privilege.

So apparently 2028 savior Gavin Newsom was just on Ben Shapiro's podcast saying Israel didn't commit genocide and ICE isn't acting terroristic. Look if ya'll want young men to start voting Dem. again it can't be for pussies like this. The left needs balls. All Newsom brings to the table is "Trump bad", he stands for no ideals on his own.

I predict men just won't argue with each other though. they'll say all men are wonderful or something and men won't pull each other up on this. I am biased because men here gang up on women even if they also disagree with whatever the man said anyway, which obviously leads to all these annoying NOT ALL arguments we have to apparently do into eternity forever. Utterly delusional take, men argue here every day of the week. good fucking luck finding women arguing here more than once a week.

That seems like y'all problem. Not a problem with women. If men's unique preferences and emotional needs are a "problem" then so are women's. I don't care if my girlfriend is my bi. You probably care if your boyfriend is bi. I could easily say, "women sure have problems" about that but I won't because it's just common sense that it results from men and women having different expectations of their partners.

—> Isn’t it true that women endure singleness better, because women have better social circles (and cats, according to some, lol) It's true that on average women experience better conditions while single than men. I was just arguing against the claim of a fundamental difference. Also, women don’t lash out in the way men do. The underlying sadness might be similar but the actions are what sets single men and women apart. Also true, but the dissatisfaction could be equal even if it's expressed dif…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 08:39 PM

People say that women are happier single to make a point that they are not desperate for some man no matter what he is. And I'm saying that point is baseless, since the women who are extremely desperate for men just go get men, thus no longer being single. One cannot judge the total amount of desperate women vs. desperate men based solely on looking at single people.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 08:32 PM

In this case people should just stop acting like something fundamentally different between men and women makes women better able to endure being alone. No, it's just that a woman who's utterly desperate for partnership is more likely to be able to get it than a man who is. So the desperate women leave the pool of data being examined at higher rates than the desperate men do. The latter group drags down the average happiness rates of single men, since they literally don't want to be single.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 08:18 PM

Yeah I don't get how people flop here, single women are on average happier than single men because on average a higher percentage of single women are single by choice. Compare the ones who who explictly don't have the option to date for actual useful data.

The cost is the added risk I take on that you don't. Bears vs men drama aside, there is a significantly higher chance for me to get roughed up or killed than you and then there's the pregnancy thing. When we appreciate men for their accomplishments, it's because we try to not trap them like we're trap ourselves, we evaluate will rather than genetics, but men apparently prefer identifying with their bodies. Because: Not every man can accomplish anything. Accomplishment-based attraction is often less lustful than appearance-based attraction.

I dont understand how this is gendered because the biggest religion on Earth is based on a selfless man who cared for the needy and rejects, stood back up to the corrupt churches, and wanted forgiveness for the people who sentenced him to death. Pretty sure that dude wasn't LGBT friendly.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 04:48 PM

so why do men complain about being in the friendzone then? Probably because those dudes want to be in a relationship at some point in their lives yet it never happens, despite people liking them enough for friendship. what you're saying implies that men put themselves into it by choice. Men simply realize they're in a friendzone either when: they develop affection for a friend that's unlikely to be reciprocated. they confess to a friend but the friends says they want to stay friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 08:59 AM

As said women glorify the methods assholes employ while demonizing the methods gentlemen employ, hence the predicaments they end up in. Someone who is a friend has already put in the effort of building bonds and learning about the other person on a deeper before making any sort of move, the perception of them only being after sex is ridiculous, the attraction is clearly romantic. As long as women think the way they do on this issue dating is gonna continue to be poisonous.

“Women do not merely encounter bad men. They actively pursue them.” ?—> IDK… most women don’t “pursue” isn’t that one of y’all’s gripes? Doesn't matter if it's not a majority, someone will oblige, unlike for the male equivalent.

That's naturally and logically true, but less and less people being able to meet the requirements doesn't change what they are. 15 years ago or basically any guy with game could live the Chad life. Whether you can or can't it's the only option, so it's not like you can just give up after some set period of time of failing. The "best" version of a passive obedient man is still that, so he remains fundamentally undesirable to women. He literally has to not be that.

Nah the combination of autistic and short basically nukes you out of dating as a straight male. If you're autistic you basically have to have nothing else wrong with you or else it's over. I think this last paragraph gets into the weeds, but I don't buy society has pushed that at all...and to the degree it has...these men would not fit into even that box because they're not agreeable nor pleasant - thus the beastly aspect. Women don't feel safe with them. There are plenty of lonely agreeable men too though. So just not being disagreeable isn't sufficient advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/26 09:34 PM

Also, for all the redpills complaints about women being seen as the better people, when they claim "Women are the selectors of sex", it's implying female sex offenders are doing a public good because males will always say yes, so why should society take hot female predators seriously? All her male "victims" should be happy, right? We should take anyone who feels victimized seriously, and punish any relevant offenders to the fulllest extent of the law.

I don't like being treated worse than criminals and cheaters and I'll continue to voice that. Why should they go ask out a bunch of other dudes in addition to the ones already coming to her? There's a selection bias regarding the men who approach, only certain types of men do it, in theory if she wanted to date a guy who doesn't then she'd have to approach him instead. Guys who approach are more likely to possess various traits... Lots of men are giving up on dating because the fear of rejection is too high. Not cowardly in that case, men actually are extremely likely to be rejected if they approach, unlike women.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 10:31 PM

Extremely based.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 10:15 PM

It's only hard if you have high standards. That claim always overlooks the guys who genuinely have no options. Whether the cause is attractiveness or something else (many different things factor into dating), it's not "high standards" if there's literally nobody to choose from.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 10:14 PM

or to be clear, that present and conceive more like that than females 🤷‍♀️ Well that applies to basically most dudes lol, but most dudes aren't perpetually isolated, so I'd still wager that the determining factor there isn't this type of behavior. The isolated generally don't fit in or don't live up to society's expectations of them (based on gender, etc.); plenty of scummy aloof avoidant men do fine, since that's expected of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 10:11 PM
5

Mine are statistically backed. Studies show that dark triad individuals, sociopaths, narcissists, and even psychopaths and ex-cons, are all less likely to lack "experiences" than average people. There is no way the people you're pointing out make up the majority of perpetually isolated men. The reality is that people also often avoid weak, soft, sensitive men. Either out of disgust or a fear of the traits rubbing off. And these guys are far from sociopathic narcissists.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 10:02 PM

It finally happened to me, got perma-banned from one subreddit by a bot purely because I had posts on another sub. In order to get unbanned they want me to delete all posts on the offending sub, then request a manual unban via modmail. Secondly, a man should evaluate whether his sex life is good based on his own needs and whether he is currently happy. Thing is men don't tend to see it that way because most men would love to have more sex than they currently do. They already have to accept that their desires won't be fully met. Most women do not want to have sex as much as them or in as many ways as them. Realistically he has to live with that. And this is actually men's fault because they insist on giving their attention and energy to women for just existing. And when you tell them to stop chasing women and giving away their attention to them so easily, they dont want to hear it. Provide an alternative means for them to find partners, then. Because we have a lot of online men who "don't give women attention" and they end up still kissless hugless virgins at age 30.

Why would anyone be rich off of advice that's already freely shared? TRP had a whole subreddit of freely shared advice and a network of freely accessible blogs prior to that. /r/PurplePillDebate07/01/26 02:03 AM

I don't know what you're rambling about. He's saying that TRP advice underperforms because a lot of men can't properly/fully execute it in real life, not because it's wrong.

A woman would know that she has to try harder as a man in order to attract women. It's true that some women in the thread acknowledged that. Or someone in a city with 100 Ivy League colleges exclusively? There being more Ivy Leagues means nothing when literally all 100 are gonna reject the av…

Women have easier access to every aspect of dating, it's just that it's harder for them to get proper relatiionships than to get sex, but their relationships still come more easily than men's.

That explains why y'all complain so much. Your privilege is invisible What fucking privilege? Guaranteed 99% of anything you could hink up is either something that doesn't apply to stereotypical Reddit males, or is something men aren't actually happy about. How? Most women don't. Approach strangers. Sexualize early conversations. Plan first dates. Pay full for first dates. Initiate early physical intimacy. How would they clean up as men without doing these things...?

Quantity is irrelevant, it's a harder for the average man to appeal to a straight woman than it is for the average woman to appeal to a lesbian. Also women pursuing women have less competition to deal with.

This is a debate sub, not a lifestyle sub. Arguing that the red pill is correct does not require doing red pill things. One can easily believe it's correct but still feel any accompanying behavior is scummy and beyond their moral compass. A woman being a virgin displays mental strength, an ability to resist temptation. Promiscuity shows suceptibility to charming/hot men regardless of potential social consequences, a high urge for sex, technically careless behavior (prior to contraceptives/abortion promiscuity was extremely risky for women), etc. Come on you can't just frame your desires as good but men's bad, there are a lot of ways to play that game.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/26 05:50 AM

Why would women have to hold the same stupid standard in order to note that it's unfair? It's entirely fair for a guy who is not promiscuous and does not like promiscuous men to also not like promiscuous women. OP is simply saying that women in a similar position could also choose not to like promiscuous men. He's not saying they have to be hypocritical about it. Rather they're confirming what they already independently perceived in real life with others online. Hence why, "watch what they do" is a red pill staple. /r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 06:01 PM

If all men had the same amount of standards as women, most women would never get picked. The simple fact that the average person needs to realize is that they are not special. They are average. Common. Standard. My husband alson dated and slept with a ton of women before meeting me. Cool. But most men can't do that, so expecting them to enforce the same strictness is bizarre.

Many of them wanted to be promiscuous but just couldn't, and even some of those who didn't want to be will still feel a rift in experiences if their girlfriend was. Same isn't necessarily true for women since women who care that much about promiscuity can just go do it, and in general women don't determine their sense of value or desirability based on sexual prowess.

I was asking myself this question because I see a lot of men acting a certain way that make me question their foundations. Why do you guys only judge when men act contrary to traditional gender roles? Modern women do too. It's a people thing, not a man thing. Equality can't just be a one-way street. The male loneliness epidemic is a phenomenon I don't really get to understand since there has always been lonely people (men and women). Marriage isn't a universal goal nowadays. The dude is in a position where the women his age "had their fun" and want to settle down while he didn't get to have fun, and a lot of men get very bitter about being pushed to marry under those conditions.

You cannot make people like you or want to associate with you. That is out of your hands. Socialization is a two-way street. It cannot individually be one person's fault when they will never have total agency over the situation. All else equal people tend to trust and favor men less than women, so on average men have less friends. That's just how life works.

The two had zero in common and would not have met naturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 12:08 AM

Men distancing themselves from feminism is a result of women largely refusing to reciprocate feminist style concern towards men. Why TF would a struggling man support a movement for helping struggling women when everyone, including those women, mostly still treats him like shit and refuses to sympathize over any of his misfortunes or the unfair gender standards he faces. Same reason people keep demanding men be feminists. It's nonsensical for society to request men sympathize with women but then offer no sympathy back to men. Generally, men used to feel deep shame about not being able to succeed romantically, and would hide this fact at any cost, not a sense of requesting sympathy and pats on the back from women or society. So were a lot of things women used to feel shame about, before society encouraged them to embrace those qualities instead. Not being able to…

The latter are not obligated to be helpful to society, and many are the opposite.

Women are less interested and place less value in FWB/ONS than men do, which is why women even have “easy access”. No it's because men's standards are much lower. If the reason you think you can’t find the right person is because you believe you’re objectively ugly/unlikeable/worthless, how the hell do you even like yourself? Because it's well established that many peoples' preferences are either shallow or dumb.

Why do they have easier access to these things than men though? It’s because women aren’t as interested in ONS as men. Not a full answer. It's also because the women who are interested in ONS still only want it with a small fraction of men. Meanwhile men would sleep with anyone not repulsive looking, which is an an easier bar for women to clear.

The advice to not be a nice guy, be a "good man" makes no sense to me. If people don't respect nice guys then they don't deserve "good men". If you can get by with being an asshat there's no reason not to. And if people don't like it they should treat nice guys better than asshats; they shouldn't only reserve the respect for "good men".

Mods 🤝 downvoters. Usually women or pro-woman. Just sayin'. (before I'm accused of bias I acknowledge murderers and rapists and whatnot are usually men)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/25 05:59 AM

Certain subreddit threads are now justifying political violence and peddling rhetoric about how debate and conversation is a "Western" people thing, and that guys like Charlie Kirk would've been more careful with their words if more people voiced intent to assault them if they spoke out of line. Yet these same people bitch about police brutality and domestic terrorism from MAGA. I just want consistency bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/25 04:33 AM

I'm using liberal phrasing to better commumicate the point. Also technically TRP mainly pertains to dating dynamics and doesn't require any particular political lean.

Would it be funny with the genders reversed?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/25 09:15 AM

Dunno how people don't understand modern dating frustrations. Reasonable people talking about the loneliness epidemic don't care if some MAGA scumbag can't get a girlfriend, or rude nasty guy or a bigot. In a lot of cases it's a good thing if people avoid those guys, not a bad thing. The concern is about morally good socially conscious individuals being alone. Not very many people are saying bad guys should get dates.

Then why do you think women think it's okay? I'm referring to the ones who do. As representative (official) of women i say it's not, we take this seriously, we will conduct internal investigation and all at fault will be punished accordingly. Unfortunately some women really do take criticism of how some groups of women treat men as an assault on the entire gender. It's deeply irritating.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 10:27 AM

Irrelevant. I'm referring to disrespect i.e. insulting/mocking someone or taking them less seriously based on genetics.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 10:22 AM

Instagram and Facebook are full of fat middle-aged men - somehow with many shameless photos of them with their shirts off - calling women solid 4s or 5s. Thing is I know those types of losers, and when insulted for their own looks back they don't usually go on some big social campaign about fatshaming or shortshaming being wrong; instead they respond with either performative macho bragging like, "I still fuck tho" or "but my money's stacked tall", or just misogynistic insults regarding the woman…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 06:15 AM

I still can't understand why some women think it's fine to disrespect men based on genetic traits but get mad when called fat, ugly, or weak. Can't take heat stay out of the kitchen. Also inb4 "but I'm not fat or ugly." Well I could probably still beat you up, so that one stands.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 05:20 AM

54% of male voters picked Trump last year. No way are half the men on dating apps actually confessing to that. Dudes openly admitting they're MAGA are a minority. That's like thinking dudes here tell women they're red pill and post on PPD. Come on bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:10 AM

Democrats didn't release because Bill Clinton's all up in there. Photo just dropped of him in underwear sharing a hot tub with one of the victims.

It's black pillers' faults for constantly interrupting personality-centric discussions with, "but it doesn't matter if you're hot"-esque rhetoric. Yes it's generally true but not relevant; assume looks are equalized in discussions where the attractiveness of different personality traits is being debated. People really don't understand that accidentally marrying a woman like that is a lifetime failure award for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/25 11:06 PM

"The reason a lot of young men don't get any is because they're MAGA." How do you find out a guy's MAGA before you hook up with him tho. 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/25 11:05 PM

This type of comment generates misunderstanding since it's just too general and accusatory. Many women are dating men who are not better looking, richer, AND higher status. Many women face difficulties in life. Women have many nigh unique disadvantages. Many blue pillers will dismiss the whole point off of such exaggerations. But is it true in an on average sense that women tend to expect a man to perform better in some field (such as assertiveness), and tend to get more assistance and leeway in…

Okay, expand it to the manosphere at large, including MRAs. That's beyond the scope of this subreddit. I don't know if those groups do those things or not, or if they try and run into logistical obstacles, and I certainly don't trust the accuracy of a report on the matter from feminists.

And it is absolutely sad and tragic that you don't realize this is a self-inflicted dead end for men. I realize America is collectively dead-ending itself. As long as the people continue prioritizing themselves at the expense of their scapegoats and boogeymen, their rivals will do the same, and we'll all lose out in the end. Nobody can be left behind. And we very much have two sides simultaneously failing to comprehend that. If we want to kneecap women? Reduce the simp and performative masculini…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 12:18 AM

No. That is not why women are better at friendships. I'm claiming it's why they can be more motivated to focus on non-dating things even while lonely. Their romantic prospects don't take nearly as much of a hit when consciously ignored. A man who consciously ignores dating will mostly likely never date in his life. No offer will manifest. So him devoting everything to work and friendships would literally be doomìng himself to die with no intimate experience. Because women invite women…. And they…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 11:48 PM

Even knowing nothing about the person, I immediately assumed on intuition alone that their post history would probably contradict their claims somehow, but unfortunately it was hidden. Good to know I'm not just paranoid and cynicism works. Remember: She told us how she felt. How one feels and what they're actually suffering are two different things. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 11:27 PM

It also gets more attention because there is no female loneliness epidemic; women are more lonely now than before, but not as much as men. Women are generally offered more supportive social circles, and can easily find men if they really want to. Total solitude is largely by choice for women. Contrarily, women can be romantically lonely yet still nurture their friendships, still care about their community, and still work to maintain their comforts. Because they still have a realistic chance of b…

/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 11:08 AM

This is true but only applies to very few people. Even most incels are wrong about their own self-assessment. Most are likely correct via neurodivergence. They're not too ugly to date, but the combination of being nothing special looks-wise and being too socially neurodivergent to successfully fit male gender roles in dating kills.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 10:59 AM

If you can’t, there’s probably more than just nature going on. Today's social environment is trash.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 10:54 AM

Sexual frustration is more accurate but still a simplification. A lot of the guys adopt hyper traditional beliefs, and back in the day there was no sex before marriage. Yet the dudes would wholeheartedly sign up for that waiting period if they got to be with a traditional chaste woman. In that scenario the only draw would be the romance and sense of purpose. So it's more of a sexless+loveless epidemic; the guy would often be fine with one or the other, but is getting neither.

If you take a man who has no friends, weak family ties, no community, and then gets a girlfriend, and a man with close friends who hang out all the time and are emotionally open and supportive, a tight-knit family, and a community, but no girlfriend, who would identify as lonelier? Well the amount of dudes with a girlftiend who complain about being lonely is not high, while the amount of dudes with a social circle who complain about not having a girlfriend is quite higher.

The reason people don't have options is because they're not physically or socially attractive. But that has nothing to do with whether they'd be caring loyal partners in a relationship or not. People are judged by other things in the early dating phases.

If you're gonna go for anyone who comes first, you have no experience, and no self-respect and idea of what you want from a relationship. Or you are specifically so conventionally undesirable that the type of person who bothers with you is already proven to be genuinely unique as a person. It's part of the reason why teenage/college relationships rarely work out, few people settle down with the first person they loved. OR, get this, there are psychological differences between these men dictating both how many options they have AND their desire to cheat. I.e. non-cheating personality traits are correlated with low-option personality traits. Timid submissive considerate guy is both less likely to have options and less likely to be disloyal in general. But putting that idea aside... So why not flip this idea on its head and talk about the other side? A man with no options is only with you because he's desperate, …

Research aside, I think it’s important to recognize that a lot of men shame and belittle women who have casual sex. Similar in principle to the thread, casual sex having women would probably be less hated if they weren't as exclusionary about who gets casual sex. Take gay men. Anti-promiscuity bigots still hate them. This is growing pains of equality for men. There is no equality to be found on this subject. It literally does not exist. The basic benchmarks men have to hit to be desirable are astronomically higher relative to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 10:29 AM

Does that mean us dudes are also allowed to respect women less based on appearance? (I am actually not guilty of doing that unprovoked. Like I get not being attracted to someone, but I don't respect those I'm not attracted to less)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 10:09 AM

They're only not prepared for failed feminism i.e. feminism that doesn't actually establish social equality and instead just fucks them over. It's women who complain whenever equality is successfully established. They complain about having to pay 50/50, etc.

Women who date simply accept this reality. We don’t celebrate it, but we acknowledge it and adapt. Because women are passive daters and can just wait to be approached. Meanwhile when a man learns something bad about women, he has to change his whole behavior to accomodate that, if he wants to successfully date. And he can feel that he was misled into prior fruitless efforts by the false narrative he was previously told. But the real question is: Why is it surprising that a 6'5”, blue-eyed, trust…

The best way to cope with poor interactions with women is to remember that you're a face in the crowd. Women reject most men so it doesn't really matter if you're yet another one. Men creep out women on a regular basis so it doesn't really matter if you accidentally do it. Etc. You're not some uniquely bad guy for this stuff, you're just the standard guy. Don't be paralyzed by perfectionism.

But none of them have anything particularly to do with feminism. Yet here we are.

I don't think most average men have experienced the specific type of rejection where you thought someone liked you for who you are, but you find out they actually like you for an entirely ulterior motive. Unless that's what the person said it's just an assumption. A friend wanting to date doesn't mean they don't value you as a person. We're not talking about pump and dumps here, just a dude asking to date. Your claim is a massive conclusion to jump to from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 11:21 PM

It's a negative assumption without proper base. You can't read peoples' minds and you are not the lone objective arbitrator of truth. Fact remains that people do that stuff to men's preferences, but are dead silent on women's. In my opinion that's a sexist bias... Though I won't be arrogant enough to assume I can't be wrong on that in some cases.
