Exactly this. They look at relationships the same way you’d look at applying for a job.

I agree with this take. If you want a traditional feminine woman , you must first be a traditional masculine man. A lot of men seem to like the idea but don’t realize being a traditional man is a lot of hard work , and not every man is cut out for it
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 11:04 PM

They have a caricature in their head of what “foreign” women are like. If the average American woman doesn’t like you, a woman from a more traditional culture definitely will not either unless you have money
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:48 PM
11

Yes that is very true. And that eliminates a good amount of men that are on here complaining about American women thinking Latin women will give them a chance. Like nope not unless you are a very masculine capable man
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:33 PM

It’s an important RMV factor for women because actual high value men want a woman who’s atleast as educated/accomplished as them. And these men tend to be pretty accomplished. Sure they’ll hookup with whoever but they’re not marrying a high school drop out
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:30 PM

Yes , those cultures socialize their girls/woman from a young age to be pleasant and feminine. Which is very attractive to most men. But don’t be fooled into thinking it’s better. Most women from such cultures have wayyyy higher expectations than American women. They are raised to be high maintenance , that’s why they’re so attractive Speaking from my own Latin background
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:17 PM

I’m not sure where you get your information from but Latin , Middle eastern and south Asian cultures all place a huge value on higher education. For men and women. Families of such cultures prefer and some even expect their children to receive higher education and focus on obtaining a stable income/ career. Yes women from those areas are a lot more feminine than American women but that’s because of difference in social norms/expectations. Not because their culture places less importance on educa…

Because I’m a feminist who’s also a “traditional” woman. I made that decision , and believe that while that’s what works in my marriage, doesn’t mean it’s what works in everyone else’s marriage.

I agree, I’m saying people THINK he’s some kind of bad boy. They’ve made comments and little jokes about how he must have been before we met. A lot of negative assumptions simply because of how he carries himself. Like no he doesn’t like to fight, he’s never been In trouble with the law and has never been a player.

My mom and I have this saying : even if I know you do it , if you respected me you’d never let me find out. This is how we handle everything from sex , to experimenting with drugs , to any shenanigans I don’t have children and when I do I won’t apply this “don’t ask don’t tell” policy until they’re 18. Until then I will try to educate them as best as I can and guide them towards good decision making but I won’t make porn taboo. It’s something I won’t encourage but I won’t be mad
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 06:46 PM

Haha this right here. A lot of these traditional Christian couples online seem to be living in a full time D/s dynamic. The reason it’s working so well in THEIR marriage is because it’s THEIR kink. They can’t grasp that different couples enjoy and work well with different dynamics Edit: speaking as a woman who thought I was just naturally great at being a traditional wife. Nope I just like being told what to do

I have 3k followers on Instagram. I wish more men would look at my following count and decide that’s a red flag because then they wouldn’t be in my DMs embarrassing themselves even when it’s obvious from my account that I’m taken.

The issue here is most men don’t actually know who’s a “bad boy” and who’s not, any mildly intimidating man who has success with women is a “bad boy” to them. People are always assuming my husband is a lot crazier and more dangerous than he actually is. They’re like “haha you’ve probably done some crazy stuff ;)” “You seem like you like to fight” Or “you must have been a player before meeting your wife” those things aren’t true. But because he’s over 6ft, jacked with a cool beard and is unapolog…

My exact thoughts. Except for my little walks in the park with my dog, Nothing I do outside my home is free. Every activity I do requires I spend money. From getting coffee with friends to my sewing class

Yes it’s not the best deal but neither is the deal my husband would give Selma Hayek if she gave him a chance. My husband and I would BOTH allow a billionaire who funds our entire lifestyle to have more sexual liberties. Most men also have a price for cheating. You don’t think any of these men on here would jump on the chance to have a billionaire sugar mama even if she has side pieces?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 12:03 AM
3

Exactly! Most people like to use their money. That’s why you have it right? And amazing memories with the person you love is never a waste. Some people sadly have never had a loving healthy relationship so they would have no idea what we’re talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:49 PM

While I don’t know if OP is telling the truth. I do know men his age absolutely say FWBs. The Gen Z kids don’t really say “seeing” or “flings”
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:30 PM

Lmaooo what , sure I’ve met gold diggers, rich and poor ones , but they are not the majority. Wanting a man with stable reliable income ≠ gold digger
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:56 PM

For me to be ok with him having sex in a non group sex setting aka only he gets to have sex with them , they’d have to be a billionaire. And he is ok with that knowledge because in order for him to be ok with a woman having sex with other men they’d have to be funding his entire lifestyle. We’ve had this convo before. OP wasn’t talking about variety , OP is talking about a one sided open relationship. Which is an extremely rare lifestyle. Most non monogamous people are with other non monogamous …

My husband, who is married to a raging bisexual who likes to tag team multiple women with him , isn’t really concerned that I’d be ok with an open relationship with a billionaire.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:31 PM
8

You don’t run in certain circles I see. Because the biggest difference I noticed when I jumped tax brackets was the sexual openness. And cocaine use lmaooo neither of which I (not usually) partake in but it’s wild to see how common and accepted it is
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:15 PM
7

Exactly, and in wealthier circles there is less stigma towards sex and open relationships/ polyamory
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:01 PM

Maybe you’re just too poor to understand
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 09:54 PM
11

Yet I know wealthy couples in equally polyamorous relationships. These made up wealthy men are not marrying some random hair dresser. They are marrying women from equally wealthy backgrounds and that changes the power dynamic. Those same women participate equally in the non Monogamy because what’s he going to do? Divorce her? She can afford the best lawyer to help her get the most money out of the divorce settlement. Especially for infidelity
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 09:50 PM
12

Exactly this. These Uber wealthy men simply don’t care or see sex the way OP does. Sex to them is just a fun thing to do. They don’t care if their wife also does it because they don’t see sex with someone else as an act of disloyalty. The issue here is people in different socio-economic classes tend to have widely different views from each other. Like how poorer communities tend to be wayyy more religious than wealthy communities. But I’m specifically talking about non monogamous individuals. We…

You don’t think like rich people do at all. So I can’t explain it to you. Wealthy people marry other wealthy people. Most actually wealthy men except for the few online aren’t actually funding any woman’s lifestyle unless she’s his sugar baby or his wife. And that’s a whole different thing. And as a wife you could do the same back cuz what’s he gunna do ? Divorce you lmaooo then you’re entitled to some of his money so win win. Every wealthy non monogamous man I’ve met , doesn’t care if his wife …

Except you’re not one of these billionaires therefor have no idea what their lifestyle actually is. Very wealthy couples have arrangements where they keep the marriage nice in public but behind close doors can do whatever they want. Yes some men do have a harem , but from my experience in interacting with actual wealthy asf couples, they tend to swing / are polyamorous. And it’s usually pretty equal I also know a poly couple where there are only other women involved essentially creating a harem …

You think these wives don’t also have side pieces? You’re delusional , they just hide it better We all know the pool boy joke Also most of these insanely rich people practice polyamory. The higher up you go it seems the less you care about monogamy
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 08:44 PM
7

Lmaoooo my husband and I just had this convo , he himself has said that while being single would save him money , he wouldn’t have been as happy. He says he’s glad to have spent money on all the experiences we’ve had. I mean he loved our trip to South Korea so much we’ll be going back soon! And he discovered a love for pickled radishes he would’ve never known if not for trying new foods while we were traveling
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 08:06 PM

I think my price would have to be billionaire. And at that point it would just turn into an open relationship because if you’re going to screw around so will I

If a women isn’t “feeling” you , what else do you need? Not “feeling” you is a good enough reason to not date someone. You can’t convince someone : actually even though you don’t feel anything towards me you should still date me because of XYZ. And that’s not how it works
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 07:32 PM
3

He’s trying to find a way to blame said women for not dating him. He’s upset that even though the date went relatively well , it didn’t lead to a relationship. Which is really normal in the dating world? People can have a good time and be pleasant and still decide to not want to pursue you romantically. But if she was rude and made it blatant she wasn’t interested I’m sure he would’ve complained about that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 07:20 PM
5

Op , not wanting to pursues dating you after a date does not mean you were deceived. That’s how dating works, you go on the date and then later think about it and decide if you wish to go on date number 2. That’s how vetting works. Next time suggest a coffee date so it’s cheaper and you know they’re not just using you for a meal. I think you put too much pressure on your dates to know then and there wether they want to be in a relationship with you or not. Edit: as a women this would be a comple…

Dating is hard and requires a lot of effort most people aren’t willing to put. Most people don’t realistically want to change or go out of their comfort zone. And dating definitely requires you to go outside your comfort zone. I see this with both men and women. Women who don’t actually interact with men nor try to improve their looks/personality in order to attract men complaining they can’t find anyone to date. And men do the same. Some people are complainers not doers

you just came on here to be bitter and not add a single thing of substance. Absolutely enraged about these hypothetical women fucking hypothetical chads instead of who? You? Just by this comment alone I see why most would pick a chad for sex instead. If the choices were Chad who doesn’t respect women Or Some ugly guy on PPD who also doesn’t respect women Which one do you think most women would pick? You can’t have a shitty view of women and then get mad women have a shitty view of you and won’t …

I think it’s fair to want to know, but it’s offensive to ask. I would never even ask a man that. It’s just a social faux pas and even if the woman herself is very fit and secure in her body, she won’t look at you favorably after that question
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 03:40 AM

Even if most women would say no , there are those that would say yes. Women like casual sex and plenty of women use several men at the same time. Female players exist. Or else there wouldn’t be men complaining about being used
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 02:45 AM
4

Yup exactly this. This is a female player. She gets everything she wants without having to give anything back simply because they find her sexually appealing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 02:42 AM
4

Sir he is getting played if he wants commitment/loyalty from the woman , and she is doing the same with several men. Plenty of men complain about getting played. YOUR end goal may be only sex , but a lot of men want continued sex PLUS loyalty. If she deceives him of her intentions , she played him. And yes plenty of women do have and want permanent FWB situation with several men , especially if those men are all investing in her lifestyle in some way I mean great example is women who use men as …

What are you on about. Except for religious individuals most women/men will not commit without there also being a sexual relationship. A female player is simply a woman who plays men. A woman who makes men give her all their time , money , attention , love without her actually reciprocating any emotions and probably doing the same thing to several men And those women exist. I mean have you never heard of the phrase “city girl” Edit : oh I see why you’re having a hard time understanding , you see…

Men can have children as well. You’re acting like women can asexually reproduce. The same way I can pay a sperm bank , men can pay for a surrogate. The end result is the same , a child
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 06:55 PM

I actually would love to adopt , I currently don’t want children for a few years but yes adoption is an option of mine
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 06:50 PM

Plenty of women also can’t get pregnant themselves. Usually the route when that happens is adoption. Men are free to adopt as well

Lmaoooo what in tarnation
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 06:34 PM

Exactly this. Years ago I used to turn down every man that talked to me a few months before moving states because I didn’t see the point in pursuing a relationship that already had an end date. I also didn’t see the need to explain all this to a stranger so I would just politely decline. I’m sure most of those men thought I had a huge ego, I just didn’t want to do long distance lol A lot of people need to stop thinking everything is an attack on them

I don’t have children , I said future daughter
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 03:05 AM

Sorry I don’t mean to generalize. I meant men on this subreddit seem to have very skewed ideas about the average woman. We’re not all perfect 10 medicated sex workers out to steal your money
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 03:02 AM
5

I mean yeah no argument from me here. I don’t think anyone should lay their life for this country. This country doesn’t even respect/value its citizens
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 03:01 AM
9

This is it. They’re angry because they don’t like the fact that you can easily get laid and they can’t. It hurts their ego and sense of self worth
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:57 AM
4

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying because women do get away with what they say, but yeah people suck. I just don’t think it’s easier being a man or a woman. Life is hard all around
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:49 AM

People just live in echo chambers , they forgot how to interact and show basic respect and decency and their little echo chamber will never call them out for it
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:44 AM

They both suck, I know the internet makes it seem acceptable but women who are misandrists are not women I respect. You can’t expect respect and not give it. I’m a feminist but I definitely do not support all women , because sometimes bitches be dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:35 AM
3

I’m not arguing with you there. I’m just stating that they’re both selling their bodies in some way for college
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:30 AM
5

Oh brother , let’s start with the oppression Olympics. Misandrists are out there but so are misogynists. I’m more scared about my future daughters reproductive rights and autonomy being stripped away. Also the high possibility of sexual harassment/assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:28 AM

I’m not going to lie, I am extremely uncomfortable when it comes to vulnerability. I am not comfortable being vulnerable with anyone except my husband , some family members and my childhood best friend. I don’t believe everyone in your life needs to know or is suited to help you through a tough time/situation. I also do not want anyone outside of those people to feel comfortable enough to unload their emotions on me. I believe a certain level of trust, time and intimacy (not the sexual kind) is …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:20 AM
4

I don’t know much about OF economics so I’ll just leave it. But my point is people take the opportunities afforded to them. You can’t say women have it easier because they “can just sell their bodies”. Most women don’t take that route. And men can absolutely sell their bodies for college as well, such as sex work (if they’re attractive) or the military.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:16 AM

Are you trying to justify someone hating and treating cruelly a whole group of people (promiscuous women) simply because they haven’t had the best life? Because it sounds like you are. If you’re being a shitty person I don’t care how shitty you’ve had it, you’re still a piece of shit
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:11 AM
4

One has the the possibility of death or serious injury, So I’d say it’s a bigger risk joining the military than masturbating on camera. One job expects you to lay your life on the line if needed, the other doesn’t. Sounds more like selling your body than OF I’m not a gay man that likes to subscribe to twinks only fans so I don’t know. But there’s a market for twinks on OF. They’re apparently making a killing even if it’s obviously a smaller market.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 02:01 AM
5

It really is a sad way to live , constantly upset about what other people do even when it doesn’t affect your life in any way. Like please , just ignore them. I personally don’t like soda , I think it’s terrible for your body and I never drink it, I’m not over here trying to police anyones soda consumption.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:57 AM
8

They get all their knowledge about women from tik tok instead of just socializing with women outside in the real world
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:50 AM
5

Lol women aren’t the only people selling their bodies to pay for college. My brother’s military career would like a word Also have you ever heard of twinks? I heard they make decent money on only fans
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:44 AM

I get what you’re saying but this mentality turns into a self fulfilling prophecy. If you believe all relationships are doomed to fail , you’ll constantly just be waiting for it to fail and not enjoying it. Which in turn will ruin the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:42 AM

Exactly this. I don’t usually fear for my life. I fear the possibly hostile interaction because it’s happened before. I’ll just be going about my day and now I have to read your body language and tone to gauge how you’re going to react to my rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:31 AM
14

I’ll always be jealous that men don’t have to give birth. I want lots of children, why couldn’t my husband and I go halfies on child birth? He has 3 I have 3. Nope , I’m going to be the one that has to go through all that pain to have a child
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:28 AM

This guy clearly thinks you stop putting in effort and dating each other once you’re in an established serious relationship. Some of my most emotional “highs” have been with my husband and I’ve dated before him. We travel together , we do all sorts of dumb shenanigans together, try new things together. I’m always having a blast honestly
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:18 AM

I love this take because I’m happily married with no divorce in sight. Also anyone worried about their assets can just get a prenup? However anything after marriage is considered a joint asset and rightfully so. Once married its considered “ours” You’re saying no one who married a virgin has been cheated on? Some married religious 20 year olds i knew would say otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:56 AM

I live for athletes baby mama drama
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:52 AM

This point still doesn’t make women look worse than men as a whole. All this tells me is women actually think it through and plan the best course of action for their future, and that men are just led by their emotions Also yes what should be the solution? Ban divorce? Lots of men in power won’t like that
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:39 AM

Lmaooo just say you’re scared of latinas and keep it pushing
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:12 AM

Taking someone’s money in a divorce settlement is not the same as killing a bunch of people in a fit of rage
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:09 AM

People on this sub like to act like they’re the only ones who face rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:40 PM

I mean yeah there is , people don’t seem to take domestic violence against men as seriously. I think anyone who downplays violence against a person is a weirdo. People just need to stop playing this gotcha game of “but men do it too” or “women do it too”.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:38 PM

I just saw a guy posting about how he loves them slim thick , I hope he sees this
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 11:13 PM

Yes. It’s pretty pathetic to start being cruel and hate a group of people simply because you feel like they owe you sex but don’t want to have it with you. Someone’s body count can be 325 and if they don’t want you to be their #326 then oh well
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 10:49 PM

This is the answer right here
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 10:39 PM

I’m not a promiscuous woman , I do not care at all what other women do with their bodies as long as it’s not with my husband. Anyone who cares that much about someone else’s extracurricular activities is threatened in some way. Either men are angry because those woman are enjoying a market they themselves haven’t been able to participate in , or other women are threatened that these women are enjoying something they’ve been brought up to think is “immoral”. And if you’re angry because you believ…

I do agree romantic companionship is important for a happy life. what I don’t like about this subreddit is that just because you haven’t found it yet , that’s not an everyone else problem. No one is at fault if you haven’t found a companion , people have the freedom to choose who they do or don’t want to date. Edit: and saying “woman have an overinflated sense of self worth” is a cheap cop out. If they’re not attracted to you , trying to “humble” them isn’t going to make women as a whole suddenl…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 10:17 PM

Yeah I agree some people just want to be mean , but I do think This subreddit seems to mostly be talking about young skinny white women
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 10:03 PM

Lmaooooo I’m a white Latina, still white passing but completely different culture. White American woman behave completely differently than American women of color. Just facts. Sometimes people are socialized differently
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 10:00 PM

Yes….? That doesn’t negate the fact that wholesome marriages exist…? Edit: you just like being negative for the sake of being negative don’t you
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:48 PM

Ummm yes , you’re correct? That would not be a wholesome marriage then.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:40 PM

Bruh I honestly was thinking the same thing recently. I’m like …. All the women I know aren’t these insane soul sucking creatures you seem to describe …. But I mostly know latinas
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:37 PM

I think most people here agree with your point , those women are disgusting and should be locked up. I think anyone who encourages domestic violence needs to be shamed.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:35 PM
2

Yup! there’s also no point in arguing with someone who absolutely will not change their mind. They’ll just think you’re too “emotional” if you try. Thank you for the discussion!
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:21 PM
2

Exactly! I really think if we actually really tried to see things from other perspectives we’d not only learn a lot but would be a lot less angry at the world. We’re all just people trying our best , some people definitely suck but the majority aren’t going out of their way to make your life harder, even if it doesn’t feel that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:14 PM
17

People owe each other basic decency and respect. Nothing more nothing less. No one owes you their time , friendship , access to their body , their romantic interest etc.. wether you think you’re perfect for them or not , if someone doesn’t want to spend time with you there is no needed reason. This goes for men and women , I’ve seen both be equally enraged when they don’t get what they want out of a person
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 07:48 PM
9

How would you know that? And If he’s getting rejected but is attractive then maybe those women just weren’t interested for whatever reason. No one is wrong for not wanting to give someone a chance. I don’t believe in giving someone you’re not attracted to a chance
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 07:07 PM
16

Wether it’s delusion or not at the end of the day the women in that environment don’t find him attractive , so still same end result Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you’re ugly to them then you’re ugly to them. nothing you can do will convince them otherwise. You going to argue with someone that “actually I’m of average attractiveness so I should be good enough for you”?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 06:55 PM

I genuinely just love meeting and getting to know new people regardless of gender. Every person I interact with is an opportunity to make a new friend. And I think my view of men has helped immensely in my romantic life. I’ve never had issues with dating because I think people love sunny personalities and people who genuinely care about others

I’m very feminine and know many feminine women, and if you can’t find any feminine women around it’s because they avoid you. I know I would
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 07:31 PM

Omg I didn’t even notice thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 09:02 PM

And I absolutely get it. No one has the time to always be dressed up. But even for occasions that call for a little effort….seems like there’s not much put in when it comes to appearance. It’s just a cultural thing, Americans are told from birth that looks don’t matter. When the real answer is looks aren’t the only thing that matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 09:02 PM

I would say style and conversational skills. I don’t notice too many people with bad hygiene but have noticed there’s not too many stylish people around. I grew up in a culture where the average person was ‘stylish’ no matter what that style was. Also seems to be a lot of awkwardness involved when having a typical interaction. I was shocked by how not “awkward” people are in other countries
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 08:57 PM

Dating apps suck and tinder is the worst offender in my opinion. It’s all porn bots and scammers. Don’t let the dating apps get you down , you can see for yourself that you do just fine in real life which is what really matters. And in my honest opinion as someone from a Latin background, I find the average American in general ugly. Men and women. Sorry to offend anyone but Americans just aren’t as concerned with how they present themselves compared to other cultures.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 06:52 PM

Exactly. I’m married to a man that makes significantly more money than me. He actually seems to love being able to give me nice things and loves it when his presents/ surprises make me smile. And the same for his friends , he’s the first one to pay for our friends or help someone out when they have money troubles. He truly is a generous man. Not once have I heard him complain about my very small income, in fact he has said I bring a lot more important things into his life than money. The only pe…

I hate to say it but a lot of redpill advice is spot on. Women do like men with status , money power etc . And those things will help you in the romance department if you don’t have looks going for you. However that doesn’t apply to ALL women. And not usually in the extremes RP makes it seem. Old Rich men are not dating attractive high school drop outs and vice versa. And plenty of women are attracted to non chads. Also I do side eye anyone who is proud to be redpill because why are you so proud…

Certain red pill advice does work. Working out, being assertive , working on your confidence , improving looks etc are all things that will help you in life not just romance. However red pill takes common sense life advice and twists it into : all women are out to use you, so use them first. This ends up actually ruining your chances because when you do end up meeting someone who is interested in you , they’ll be turned off if they catch a whiff of any redpill practices. I once went on a date wi…

OP what you really mean is “I wish women would take the initiative and approach men more often” because so far it hasn’t really been hurting women to not approach
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/23 10:38 PM

Sex isn’t a need. Sex is great and adds a lot to the human experience but it is not a need. You do not have a right to sex. If people don’t want to have sex with you there’s nothing to be done after that. You do not have access to someone else’s body unless they grant you that access. If no one is granting you that then sorry guess you’re just shit out of luck. Hire a prostitute.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 03:09 AM
15

I completely agree. When I was at my lowest and loneliest I never thought it was anyone else’s problem but my own. The men on here seem to think if they can’t have a relationship then no one can
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 03:03 AM
6

So why does it need to be fixed? Clearly it’s working or else women wouldn’t be able to have relationships. Or do you mean it needs to be fixed because specific people aren’t benefiting from it? You’re not going to convince a whole demographic to lower their standards just because some people can’t meet them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 03:00 AM
5

Yup thank you! I have noticed this too. Women aren’t as concerned as men about finding a relationship. It just happens when we come across the right person under the right set of circumstances
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 02:57 AM

Don’t date a woman who wears makeup. There, I solved your problem. I know plenty of women who don’t wear any makeup at all whatsoever. I also see plenty of women in my everyday life wearing very little or none at all, so I’m not sure where these complaints are coming from?? Or are you just angry that the kind of women you want happen to wear makeup and don’t want you even though you assume they should because they’re in your “league”

No. It was great when I first started realizing people were giving me a lot of attention but that soon lost its appeal. I prefer love and a strong connection and that’s exactly what I have so nothing is taking my attention away from my husband. Also helps that he’s hot

I used to be a lonely , awkward , ugly ass teenager with a Reddit account. Now I’m a married , hot and slightly less awkward adult with a Reddit account. I’m not sure what it is but I’ve always liked Reddit. Maybe I like having open discussions with people who have different views than I. Maybe I just like to argue with strangers…. Either way I’ve always liked Reddit and I think I always will. Even now that my life is going well.

These men making these posts are a mess. Just because you find someone appealing doesn’t mean they find you appealing. It definitely doesn’t mean they want you to bother them either. I consider myself a stylish woman who cares about her looks. I like it when people like the way I look. But that’s it. I don’t want you to talk to me , to approach me , to even think for a second you have a chance. Just because I like the male gaze in a general sense , doesn’t mean I want your specific gaze.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 01:03 AM

Yea thank you! Someone tolerating someone who doesn’t treat them with respect clearly has their own issues going on. Not exactly the kind of person to be jealous of

Ummm what about lesbian women who care about their looks? But in all seriousness , most people try to improve their appearance in hopes it attracts the people they themselves are attracted to. Everyone likes a bit of validation. But my main point : who cares? Who cares if an adult decides to get a cosmetic procedure done? The only thing that matters is if it looks good or not
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 11:32 PM

I’ve met pick up artists in real life, and no one should be paying them or donating any money to them because I promise you their tricks do not work well in real life. Most women can smell the phony from a mile away.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 06:59 PM

No reasonable person thinks that looks don’t matter. But to women looks aren’t the ONLY thing that matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 06:53 PM

Men don’t notice any of the extra stuff we do , but they like the overall look. My husband won’t notice my lashes and nails , but he prefers women who are made up and that involves nicely done long nails, long eyelashes , nice hair, makeup etc… but it all depends on the man. The kind of men I have always preferred don’t care for the girl next door look, they like stylish glamorous women. I am high maintenance but that’s exactly what a man like my husband wanted

Ummm the same way women have been dating since before dating apps….in real life. I remember downloading tinder , bumble and hinge all at once when I was single. /r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:59 PM

I didn’t read all that , all I’m going to say is I’m talking about people you choose to date not just people you’re trying to hookup with. I’m begging everyone to be pickier about who they choose to date, not who they have a one night stand with
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:49 PM

Thank you kind stranger
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:13 PM

You need food to literally stay alive , you won’t die from lack of pussy dumb dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:06 PM

I can’t speak for all women , but I promise you I have more self respect than you do. I mean look at you, commenting with absolutely nothing of substance to add
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:05 PM

They can be aggravated all they want. No one can afford to not be picky. There are way too many people out here more than happy to use and abuse you. So it’s best to try to keep them away. I’d rather be single than be with a shitty person. And I absolutely mean that. I’ve only ever had two boyfriends and one of them is now my husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 11:03 PM

I understand feeling like this. Wondering “why am I not enough”. However it still is to your benefit to be picky about who you choose as your partner. Don’t let desperation ruin your life. And a bad partner could absolutely ruin your life
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 10:51 PM

Yup. They’re always like : women only like bad boys that’s why serial killers receive love letters. Like Is that really the type of women you want anyway…..? The answer is yes because they’d have anyone. Zero self respect
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 10:37 PM

Yup. Men on this subreddit seem to have zero standards for who they date. They’ll take whoever will have them (hopefully someone attractive) and then complain when they’re treated like an option. I beg men on here to please have some self respect
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 10:25 PM
7

I mean yeah, I personally don’t think age gaps are bad in relationships but I wouldn’t date someone with any untreated mental Illnesses…. Because they always ended up being insufferable. Key word: UNTREATED as in refuses to get therapy/medication
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 07:07 PM

I mean you can just look at my posts to see I’m not fat , a little slutty but just with my husband. Again you’re full of shit, anyone can say “nuh uh, I get bitches too!” But go ahead keep Larping as these desirable men you so badly wish you were
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 06:48 PM

Lmaooo no one has called you an incel except yourself. I’m calling you a liar. You don’t have a roster with 4 women. Men who have casual relationships with multiple women aren’t bothered by women who also have casual relationships. I’ll tell you what, post picture proof of 4 separate text conversations (one with each of them) and I’ll believe you. Make sure the texts are suggestive so it actually proves they have been intimate with you
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 06:38 PM

I too don’t believe for a second that OP has anyone on his roster. Because then he’d be increasing his body count instead of foaming at the mouth angry that certain men don’t care about such things
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 06:12 PM

Lmaooo that’s when most people start a serious relationship. We met at 21 so a bit before you guys
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 05:57 PM

Exactly! Past highschool I’ve never had someone ask. My husband and I don’t even know each other’s exact body count
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 05:51 PM

I’ve never in real life heard men who women find desirable talk about body count being a deal breaker. Fucking someone they know might be but they don’t care that a grown adult women likes sex

I was the one that asked for a prenup. I want us both to be protected.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 05:34 PM

I can tell You don’t have a lot of options because men with options pick based on looks/ personality & compatibility. The men I know with options don’t place any value in body count , they just don’t want to date someone who’s fucked their friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 05:31 PM

OP you’re a whole weirdo. Shut the hell up. Sincerely, A woman Edit: this is why people don’t take us feminist seriously. The majority of us just want to be respected the same way our male counterparts are. We’re not trying to rule over men. We just want equality.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/23 11:33 PM

I do agree that the media sure is trying their hardest to divide us. The more divided we are the less likely we are to band together to fight all the corruption that’s negatively impacting the working class. However I’m not really sure what you’re saying
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/23 11:23 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 05:47 PM

You learn this as a teenager…. It’s not a mind blowing concept. You must have something appealing about you in order for someone to be interested enough to give you a chance. Wether it be looks , money, a talent etc… you can’t expect to get someone’s attention if nothing about you is attention grabbing
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 05:45 PM

I’m sorry this has been your experience but my friends don’t speak in such a way. None of my female friends are man haters nor think “all men suck”. Surround yourself with better people if that’s how your friends act. My close friends and I are very open about our struggles and feel secure talking about them to each other. Key words being “close friends” because I absolutely do not want an acquaintance or stranger to feel the need to trauma dump on me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 05:08 PM

I know there are very insensitive women out there who genuinely do not care. My experience however has been men who I am not close to, just friendly with, deciding they must tell me all their life problems unprompted. I also am there for my male relatives/ very close friends when they need to open up. I however do not want every man in my life to feel the need to trauma dump on me. I am not your therapist , mother or significant other. Please go talk to your close friends about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 04:30 PM

I’ve only ever had one fwb years ago when I was single and the reason I didn’t want to be in a relationship with him was because I didn’t see him as relationship material. And I didn’t see the need to bother dating someone I don’t see myself being with for long. Reasons why he wasn’t relationship material in my eyes: didn’t have his life together. Your partner is a reflection of you and I didn’t want people to assume I was also a hot mess simply because of him. He was a good person don’t get me …

My mother is a very conservative woman and she was the one who advised me to date and date often. She said : you’ll never know what you actually want in a husband until you figure out all the things you don’t want.

I’d say a good 50% The men I’ve met who cannot get dates at all have one thing in common : they do not know how to interact with people. They’re not even ugly but their personality comes across as annoying or weird and it’s a turn off to most women. This is just my personal experience but seems to be pretty common.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 01:46 PM

I noticed they seem to ask themselves “how can I change myself to better attract men” instead of blaming men as a whole for not being attracted to them which is the biggest difference I’ve seen so far between redpill men and woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 09:57 PM

I did notice that, it seems a lot of them strive to be stay at home wives to more ‘traditional’ men. Doesn’t seem like something they’d find in a red pill man. I’m trying to find a way to request to join r/Diabla. The name itself tells me all I need to know 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 09:51 PM

That is true. Red pill is such a weird mindset in my opinion. Everyone already knows looks get your foot in the door but personality keeps you there. No need to donate to someone’s patreon to learn that

The red pill woman subreddit seems pretty mild. It just seems to be women seeking advice on how to better their relationship or how to acquire the kind of men they want. Mixed with some internalized misogyny of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 07:35 PM

I too would like to know exactly what it is. And also what goes on in the Red pill woman side of things. What are their beliefs because I rarely see women claim to be red pill but I know they exist

/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 10:46 PM

Exactly. If you start a relationship with a transactional mindset, that’s what you’re going to get. Don’t be mad you got exactly what you wanted, someone who likes you for what you can do for them
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 10:23 PM

It’s always a possibility but that doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee. what’s stopping you from leaving her if someone “better” comes along? If someone hotter with more status showed you interest would you leave behind your relationship?

/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/23 06:13 PM

I never knew that about men! Do they really get turned off when a woman is with someone they consider “higher value” than them? I thought that would make them think the woman herself was also high value and therefor worth pursuing if she was single
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/23 06:08 PM

Exactly! No one needs to be sexually attracted to my husband except me. But I did like the fact that he does well in social settings and was very well liked by our peers when we started dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/23 06:05 PM

Surgery should never be the first option when trying to improve looks. But yes If a fit body , nice skin and a nice haircut don’t make you less ugly then you should look into getting some plastic surgery. No shame in getting work done, women do it all the time.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 01:48 PM

I have plenty of shy female friends and a few shy male friends. I would recommend extroverts not pursue them because they won’t have a fun time. An extrovert isn’t going to like spending the majority of their time at home avoiding crowds. My opinion of them? They are wonderful, fun to hangout with people , and amazing friends. We all have so much in common from books/movies we like to our values in life. I value them for just being them. They all are hilarious in their own way and I really value…

The friend zone is a thing because instead of just moving on when someone tells you they’re not interested romantically, you decide to become an orbiter hoping she changes her mind. Any man in the friend zone placed himself there. He could easily not be her friend.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 01:17 PM

I always say , you can’t get mad about supply and demand. If what those women wanted was so unrealistic, they wouldn’t be able to find it. But they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:08 AM

Just don’t pursue her, you’re not going to be happy dating someone you aren’t physically attracted to.

Every woman on this app knows FDS is just femcel territory. FDS does not represent the majority of women at all. Just the bitter few In the same way this subreddit doesn’t represent most men, thankfully

I wouldn’t take anything OP said too seriously, according to another post they are only 18. Also sometimes it’s just pure luck. I met my husband on a military base over seas. Maybe the kind of women you’re looking for just aren’t in your immediate area. My dad has Asperger’s and is the awkwardest man I know , but he somehow found a cute little Latina who’s obsessed with him (my mom) all because he took a random vacation.

I don’t deal with people who give me headaches. While tiresome you have to vet really well the people you allow into your space. Friends as well. when I was younger I lived with someone I couldn’t stand and it was awful. I see what you’re saying it’s best to live alone until you find someone who you actually want to share your space with but don’t convince yourself that person will never come along.

Haha when I was dating I would make men wait for sex and it worked out great. I also know a happily married couple who started off as a one night stand. Different things work for different people.

Even woman have very little success with online dating. It’s all just porn bots or people looking to increase their social media following

Ok so imma share a little personal anecdote. I used to be basically a femcel. I was so angry all the time because I felt like I was such a good woman yet all the men I was attracted to would overlook me for “bimbos”. Turns out I wasn’t as a great of a woman as I thought I was. While not ugly my personality was a mess. I was insecure , over shared and couldn’t understand social cues. On top of not being well dressed or groomed (I thought being skinny and not ugly was enough) so I worked on myself…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 09:56 PM

What evidence are you expecting? Seriously tell me what evidence you’re looking for because it’s hard to have solid evidence on something to do with emotions. I can tell you a bunch of little anecdotes about all the happy couples I know who love eachother but you’d also brush that off. You my friend have chip on your shoulder and while it’s not your fault it sadly gives you a very toxic mentality. It’s best you remain single for awhile because toxic mentalities attract toxic people and you don’t…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 09:48 PM

There’s no way to prove there are women out there who care about their partners feelings, but they are out there. You want me to say no you’re wrong because I am a woman and I am glad to emotionally support my husband? What will that prove? Yes his pain is my pain. I am sick to my stomach with sadness/ stress whenever he’s in some kind of emotional distress. And I always avoid sensitive topics unless he wants to talk about it. But you don’t seem to care what I have to say , you’d rather believe …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 09:41 PM

I literally just asked if me posting this bothered him and he said no because it doesn’t have actual details. Also he read your reply and says “seems he just dates shitty women, learn how to pick ‘em better” and I have to agree. No one should be throwing your trauma back at your face. unless they are pushing your buttons out of spite , you do also as an adult need to learn to reign in your own emotions. Every little thing someone says shouldn’t set you off. I too had a very abusive childhood and…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 09:27 PM

I can go on and on about how I know every little thing about my husbands very abusive childhood and have supported him through all the ups and downs that trauma has caused. And he always tells me that I am his rock in the same way he is mine. I care about him more than myself even to the point that it might be a bit unhealthy. I’ve held him as he’s cried over why his parents don’t love him, helped him prepare for when he visits his dad (which is extremely hard for him) and try my best to be the …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 09:09 PM

You’ve already made up your mind that all women are shitty so I’m not sure what exactly you’re looking for by posting this. Nothing I say will convince you that there are women out there who will love you for you and do actually care about your feelings. It won’t be every woman you meet but most people in actual healthy relationships will tell you they feel safe and loved and can be vulnerable with their partner. I’m sorry you haven’t experienced that.

I live in a city and interact with plenty of people outside of my friend circle. And most men I’ve met are dating , casually or otherwise. Now that doesn’t represent everyone but it was the same when I lived in another city across the country , and when I lived over seas. But maybe these socially inept individuals avoid going outside that’s why I rarely run into them so who knows
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 07:31 PM

While I do believe you, I have a hard time seeing that in real life. Most men I know are either already in relationships or still able to have casual sex even if it’s a hassle for them to find a serious relationship. You must know truly socially inept individuals because even my ugly guy friends get laid

I find it so funny when people talk about SMV. I know so many people who just ooze sex appeal who this subreddit would consider average. And so many people who should be easily dating because of how attractive they are, struggling to find relationships. Also funny seeing the fact that according to this subreddit I have high sexual market value simply because I’m a skinny pretty woman. Plenty of pretty skinny women out there who I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 07:21 PM

Exactly , they aren’t with them because they are attracted to them. It’s because they are marketing themselves. And for that you need to reach bigger audiences and what’s easier than some manosphere podcaster? It’s definitely easier than trying to get an actors attention

Total chad. But we met while both stationed overseas in the military. Us in the working class need to work together so that the new nobles don’t take what’s left of our rights away. Signed, A bisexual Latina woman

There are a lot of people who do not have a car and wish they had one so they didn’t have to keep using public transportation. Will you now stop driving incase one of those people see you in your car and become jealous? No you wouldn’t. You can’t be responsible for someone else’s emotions. People could feel envy over the littlest things, my dad is jealous of any middle aged man with a head full of hair. Should every man shave his head?

Im very family oriented and still (you never stop dating even when married) expect nice dates. Every woman is different. Even within the more traditional circles. I edited my comment, my tastes in the bedroom (BDSM) require experience. I’d rather date someone who already has that experience because I can’t really teach them those things. I couldn’t care less If someone was a virgin but when I was single I would not date one because yes, I don’t care to be anyones first time. Also my tastes require experience that I can’t teach you. I’m Latin and visit Latin American countries often and I can say without a doubt American woman are absolutely different. I wouldn’t say worse , just different priorities. everyone is valid for feeling upset about being rejected for any reason. But the issue starts when you make it the other person’s problem. You may not be able to “get over it” but you better fake it until you do. Because you’ll have to get over it eventually , you can’t force someone to want you. It’s up to you as an adult to regulate your own emotions and not have them negatively impact those around you.

I don’t know if this applies to your marriage, but when a woman is constantly taking care of or doing things for their partner (such as cleaning up after them) , a switch happens in the brain. The brain will start associating their partner as someone who needs taking care of in the same way a child does. Once a women’s brain is in parent mode the sexual attraction is gone.

I look at it in terms of heartbreak. I think everyone is heartbroken when they’re cheated on. Yes I was sought after but I didn’t want anyone. I was a mess for a few years and had to go to therapy because the after effects and trust issues were ruining my now marriage. I don’t know why we constantly argue on here about why men or women may be effected more about things that relate to emotions. We all have them. Cheating doesn’t feel good no matter who the person being cheated on is

I would. If she was a man’s long term partner and she left him for “something better” I absolutely would judge. I value loyalty and I expect my friends to as well
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 10:32 PM

Exactly! I don’t expect a billionaire old money man to ever look my way. Yes I’m attractive but so are lots of women. What do I have to offer him in life? A lot of people should be asking themselves what they realistically bring to the table

I’m 25 and have zero signs of aging (I wear sunscreen religiously) and yet wear makeup. It definitely enhances my natural beauty. Because I am already attractive but it brings out my better features even more. Men could do the same. Draw attention to your eyes with just a little bit of concealer and highlight in the corners of your eyes. They could wear a tiny bit of blush to make their face look brighter. Darken their brows to make their face stand out more. The sky is the limit and a lot of ma…

I do agree charisma plays a huge part in dating success. But if you’re looking for long term relationships, then women will be a lot pickier. Same way how men will fuck anyone (I don’t agree with this, just an example) but won’t date just anyone. Women are the same in some ways. We have different standards for men we will have flings with vs men we would date. Charisma and looks is enough to sleep with but long term? I need the whole package
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 09:28 PM

Also bald men with facial hair 🙌🏻
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 09:21 PM

Rizz just means charisma right? Of course charismatic people (men and women) have better luck dating. Everyone loves charisma I’ve always gone after men who have all those things because I myself have all those things and I prefer someone on the same level as me Edit: and before I’m attacked , yes I did end up with a man who has all those traits. Thank you for your time
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 09:16 PM

Not with that attitude! Also no one would know you’re wearing concealer if applied correctly
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 09:12 PM

You can’t change your height but there is a solution to baldness , it’s called a hair transplant. I know a few men that have gotten them and they look amazing
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 09:09 PM

This is the answer! Make it acceptable for men to also enhance their looks the way women do

I’d pick the confident guy. I’ve been with attractive insecure men and they are insufferable. As long as the other guy isn’t ugly as sin, I will always pick the guy who’s more fun and confident

Female beauty standards are brutal. And no we don’t only take male input into account. It’s mostly a way for us to compete with other women. I snagged a “high value man” (I hate this phrase) and his standards are HIGH. He loves me for me but he would’ve never noticed me to begin with if it wasn’t for all the effort I put in daily in my style and grooming: Nails every other week- Lash extensions every other week- Waxing every few weeks - Hair salon every week - Spa treatments a few times a month …

I didn’t get married or divorced in California so I’m sure in places it doesn’t apply but where I was married and divorced adultery definitely played a part in the divorce process
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 05:03 PM
0

Divorce settlements are very nuanced. And usually who ever commits adultery (and it can be proven) isn’t entitled to anything. Whenever you see a women get alimony it’s usually because she was a stay at home wife and I think she deserves the alimony , she gave up her career to help support you and your home. But then again when I got divorced when I was younger we didn’t have many assets so it was a pretty clean split.

I don’t think the person who is now heartbroken because their partner left them for “something better” would see it as win- win. If this is how you view relationships then I hope you don’t get into one anytime soon , for the other persons sake Also quantity ≠ quality when it comes to male attention
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 03:14 PM
2

I’ve been through heartbreak albeit very differently. But I definitely relate to the having to then start being a bit more selfish part! You realize if you’re too nice people will try to use you. And it’s a damn shame now not being as nice of a person as you’d like to be because a few people ruined it for everyone. And people can say that’s called being bitter , I call it being cautious
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 03:06 PM
7

What are you saying right now? Are you saying women should just deal with men discarding them because women can get men easier than men can get women? What kind of logic… Is that how you would feel about your children? If one passes away… who cares I have 4 more or I can make more? What about the emotional attachment?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 03:02 PM
2

I’m sorry to hear that, people like that suck. Look at the positive side, you’re no longer with such a person and she’s someone else’s problem now. Two toxic people together is better than one toxic person ruining a good hearted persons life
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 02:59 PM
4

Basically that’s what it is. If someone has never had that kind of attention before , they’ll lose their minds
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 02:52 PM
6

I’m not who you are commenting on but I looked at it from that perspective and yes I would agree it’s good overall advice to all genders. Be cautious when dating people who are still ‘works in progress’
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 02:51 PM
6

Only really lucky people find that from my experience. Women all know that once the man ‘makes it’ (whatever that may mean to him) he’ll trade you in for the kind of women he’s always actually wanted. Edit: I’m just speaking from observations. I’m happily married but he is older than me and was already established in life when we met

/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/23 02:32 PM

I’m married to a man who never lowered his standards 🤷‍♀️ And I wouldn’t be this happy with him if I thought he was ‘settling’ for me. I’m proud to be his first choice
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/23 09:40 PM

Why can’t people grasp that looks AND personality both matter at the exact same time. They are not mutually exclusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/23 02:12 PM

My thoughts exactly. I once bought my husband a fleshlight when we were long distance for a few months.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/23 02:10 PM
6

I think you’re correct because my male friends definitely have beauty standards (that they do not lower) when it comes to dating. All this talk of ‘men will take what they can get’ doesn’t actually apply to a lot of men I know. Not everyone is desperate
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/23 02:07 PM
4

Yeah being with a guy who lowered his standards/or has none isn’t a good thing. I don’t want someone who couldn’t get the kind of person they actually wanted so they settled for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/23 02:04 PM
3

Yes they can be but you have to be their partner first not some guy they just started seeing. My husband and I didn’t just start trauma dumping on each other as soon as we met, it took us months to build that trust and vulnerability with each other. He also has a healthy support system, so he’s not only relying on me for emotional support all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 11:51 PM
10

No I don’t think he would be disgusted seeing as he already knows. But they’re a couple that has always raved and partied together so it doesn’t bother him because he used to be the exact same way. Believe it or not some men do prefer their women with experience. And from what I asked my husband , he says he has never in his life preferred “chaste” women. I’m the only “good girl” he’s ever gone for and that’s only because our personalities meshed very well.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 11:40 PM

I don’t claim to ‘sense’ the victim mentality, people with a victim complex are pretty easy to spot, you’ll know as soon as they open their mouth. And that kind of mindset is no fun to be around. I already have my own issues I don’t need to carry yours as well especially if you’re not someone I trust and confide in on a regular basis (aka a very close friend) And they’re free to date all they want, it just won’t be me. Tell your friends (or therapist) your feelings. Don’t go on a whole pity party with random people especially not people you’re interested in pursuing romantically. All that tells me Is you don’t have a good support system, and that you’ll expect the woman in the relationship to do all your emotional heavy lifting. Edit: also anyone who radiates negativity is just a no for me

I don’t know what the point of this post is, but my husband and all his friends prefer more glamorous looking women who also know how to dress seductively when they want to. And that’s exactly what they all got. Now each of our “body counts” vary greatly from 1 to closing in on triple digits. And guess what no one cares because each person is with their respective partner simply because they love them as a person. (Of course the initial attraction started because of looks but the attraction stay…

My husband is naturally charismatic and just a great person to be around and I choose that personality over someone trying too hard to get women any day. Yes he’s the rizzler for sure, But that doesn’t make him a ‘player’, actually he’s an amazing human being and partner. /r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 03:33 PM
2

I’m saying just because everyone you know is lonely doesn’t mean suddenly we have a cultural dating crisis , loneliness isn’t cured by dating but by a support system. Also so what? So because there’s lonely men out there anyone who goes on several dates is in the wrong? So we must all stay lonely as well? Edit: being in a relationship won’t cure your depression if that’s what you think will magically happen
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 03:10 PM

All the men I know are happily single or happily in relationships. I don’t know too many lonely men because they have support networks outside of the women they date. They have their friends and family to rely on. So all this just sounds like a way for you to be mad that there are men out there paying to take women out on dates. That’s how dating works, you go on multiple until you meet someone you click with. Yes she’s not a good example but you don’t have to date her , someone (several someone…

While I don’t agree with generalizations, because not all men are shallow and plenty of women are. I do agree that men care about looks more so than women. Women or atleast the ones I’ve known in life , do prefer attractive people (just like anyone ) but they are more likely to give men who aren’t attractive a chance If they like other things about them. Men I’ve noticed will never give the ugly girl a chance no matter how awesome they may perceive her to be.

Checking our double standards. You can’t constantly argue about how women can do masculine things without it making us any less a woman, but don’t extend the same grace to men. Ex: when men are vulnerable, or like flowers or feminine things that doesn’t make them less masculine. Or a more extreme example: when a man wants the woman to be more dominant in bed that doesn’t make him less of a man, that’s just his sexual preference.

This entire discourse is so sad , exactly like you said , some people are entitled for sure. But mostly, men and women just express things differently. Not everyone is out to use and abuse. We need to focus on finding a partner we’re compatible with not just someone that makes us all tingly

I practiced hypergamy (am now married) but I have a best friend who checks off most mens boxes who definitely does not. She doesn’t even like expensive dinner dates because she never wants to feel like she owes anyone anything, she wants to be there as the persons equal and potential future partner. Like all things , plenty of women who do and plenty of women who don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/23 08:04 PM

I see this all the time. Men who want love, loyalty and someone who is domestic but go after women who are very vocal about hypergamy just because they’re attractive , then complain that all women are gold diggers. I see nothing wrong with hypergamy, or any other type of way people approach relationships as long as everyone is on the same page.

Some women may be coy yes but the reason everyone is so vague about what they look for is because every woman is different. We all don’t look for the same characteristics in a partner. The man that is my Prince Charming might be insufferable to another woman.

No of course not. I however think it’s ok to use whatever assets you have to improve your life. Wether it’s looks, money, connections… I see no wrong in taking opportunities afforded to you. As long as you do treat others the way you want to be treated and help those behind you. I use my pretty privilege all the time. Ive also stayed in a foreign country for a few months just because it was cheaper to go there, than a week long vacation stateside. not every person who goes to a foreign country t…

Im the product of a passport bro and while I do understand the issues with traveling for the sake of finding a partner…. Lots of foreign born women I know (family members) prefer foreigners over the men in their community. I know it’s mostly for financial reasons but the country my mom is from isn’t known for having the most family oriented men. So when she found my dad who treated her with respect, was actually serious about settling down AND American , she said she found Prince Charming. I als…

I agree with what you’re saying and have seen it , I just also know plenty of young women who check off all the boxes these men want but would never go out with them because they can smell bad intentions from a mile away. They are staunchly middle class with a more conservative background so that definitely plays a role.

Yikes on trikes. All the young beautiful women I know (who also are waiting for love) would never go for someone who thinks in such a way.

Whatever your views are, we must be kind and gracious to other humans. Please stop spending time with people who go out of their way to put people down, it’s not very lady like to be so hateful.

I think legit matchmaking services are actually worth trying. You never know who you might click with and they already have been vetted for having the values/ qualities you’re looking for and vice versa. Such as all things involving love : go for it

I love making friends so I was never upset when being “friend zoned”. But I also right off the bat keep friends and someone I’m interested romantically in two separate boxes. The time I met someone I considered a very high value man , we ended up married so “everyone wants to know what I would do if I didn’t win…guess we’ll never know”

I see hideous men in relationships all the time. American beauty standards for men are far lower than most countries. In Italy yeah you’re not getting laid if you’re not attractive. In America you can.

Not my guy friends. But they also don’t think like this so maybe that’s why women like them

My husband and I both have lots of options. We both still always choose each other
