Being well-read doesn’t work one-on-one at all. Most women don’t want you to be well-read to have intellectual conversations with you. They want you to show that you are well-read while hanging out with her friend group and impress them so that she can brag about her boyfriend.

Also didnt man prevent woman from having resources for the 1000s of years of womans exsistence? No, they didn’t. If anything, men have always been the driving force in cultures becoming increasingly resourceful, and they happily shared the new resources with women.

One must not confuse these two aspects. Women do not admire "confidence" as an abstract concept. Women are drawn to sexually attractive men who display confidence (possessiveness, strength, sort of aggression, you name it) in their relationships with them.

I doubt we will ever find out the actual reason for: * women’s double standards * the „women are wonderful” effect We live in a time when questioning anything feminine results in instant ostracism. This is getting worse and worse because it has become politically incorrect to criticise women's “natural” behaviour at all, while it is entirely okay to tell men they have to keep their instinct behaviours in check.

No, this isn't. Rape has always been exception rather than the rule. Women seek to reproduce (in fact, all life on this planet does), but they are willing to reproduce primarily with the male who got on top of the hierarchy after fighting and competing with other males for resources, status and access to fertile females. “The winner takes it all” is basically the rule amongst all species. Monogamy in mammals is rather rare, only occurring in 3–9% of these species, so it cannot be evolutionarily …

But that’s the point. Men have always fought to gain access to women, just like most other species do. Losers don’t get a wife, whereas winners get many wives. The social experiment that even losers can get a wife is doomed to fail, leading to social tensions. Let me quote Wikipedia, for that matter. In social living groups, members are likely to compete to access limited resources and mating opportunities. Rather than fighting each time they meet, individuals of the same sex establish a relativ…

In many animal species, nearly 90% of the females but only 20% of the males reproduce. Humans are no different, as genetic studies, notably those by Jason Wilder et al., show that about 70% of women in history managed to reproduce, whereas only about 30% of men who ever lived left traces of their genes. So, yes, we’re getting back to the norm, I’d say.

Women, on the other hand, are natural-born princesses, full stop.

He didn’t say that these things are mutually exclusive. He stated that women tend to prefer funny guys that are good in bed over those who are only kind, emotionally stable, etc.

It doesn’t matter—until it does. (Read: when it affects her). The same for height. So long as her partner isn’t on the shorter side amongst her friend group, she’s fine.

Isn’t this approach simply universal amongst women across all cultures? Their actual views become naked when it comes to their son’s life.

Lol, sure, let’s account for 0.001% of cases to justify imaginary fear. Following this logic, I shouldn't even leave home because so many bad things could happen to me, such as a lightning strike.

I wouldn't say it indicates whether one is "safe" or "not dangerous”. This kind of narrative suggesting that every woman is fearful of men in general is pure misandry.

My tip: listen to what women tell you and assume exactly the opposite. Works in the majority of cases.

Have you maybe read Pride and Prejudice? It was like the early 19th century, but still, Darcy had to be the tallest and the richest one in the county.

How did you get to experience being above average, average and below average, if you don't mind me asking? I suppose that you got better looking with age, but it made me curious.

I mostly agree with everything you wrote. You started by writing about breakups, and, in fact, men seem to have harder times than women. I know many guys who couldn't get over a woman for a few years, only to suppress their feelings by finally getting to date someone else. On the flip side, I have never known a woman with a similar issue. I don't mean that women don't suffer, but it's a much quicker process for them in general.

But women have a stronger drive for procreation and, therefore, will be with men only because they want to have children. Men have an easier time suppressing this desire, though, after all, the purpose of all life on this planet is procreation.

This is yet another time when the question of what women bring to the table is raised. When you exclude sex, there is not much, really, for the majority of guys out there. If men weren’t motivated by sex more or less on demand, they would see no point in chasing women.

Because she’s kind-hearted, feminine, cooperative, in amazing shape, easy to get along with, low n, and 8/10. In real world, I wouldn’t even have a chance to date her, so if you ask hypothetically, I would absolutely love to date her.

As a man, it's okay to feel sad and cry when your dog dies or something similar. That's an acceptable show of emotion. However, you shouldn't express that you are depressed or can't handle your work, as that makes her uncomfortable and she feels threatened by such situations. Therefore, that's unacceptable vulnerability.

To me, what you suggested rather sounded like acting distant and not confident.

This is not universal, though. There was a woman I knew for about two years whom I considered to be of average appearance (definitely not ugly, though), but we didn't speak with each other very much back then. Then, after those two years, I got to know her a little better, and something clicked inside me, and she suddenly became beautiful in my eyes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
