Most gropey men I've seen are attractive and popular...it's become such a vague term, I think it's even looser than you say now, it's just any obnoxious man

I mainly remeber Vaush and ShoeonHead doing videos on it and their audience yelling at them for it, because "men are just suffering the consequences of their actions" ... because a ptsd veteran deserves to suffer for your jerky husband ignoring you (even though strangely HE still gets your love and servitude...)

I read a couple of books like "the Game" years ago and I thought they were just describing what a lot of my female friends at the time said about dating/flirting. I didn't think they were that controversial. "new people often cheekily banter with you to figure out what kind of personality you have" became "rape manuals"

from goodreads - 1. The author's purpose is clearly to teach women how to manipulate men. All she talks about is how to use men and what to do to always have men around who will do whatever a woman wants. 2. The author suggests to start dating with someone just to distract yourself from previous relationships. She calls it "Filler dates" and says "Date to distract your heart from the pain." "These are great dates you use to fill your time, mind or heart. ... You may go on a filler date because y…

or reddit idealizes deluded popular people and jojoblogs simply re-humanizes them

I think to stay sane you've just got to look at the reasons behind it. attractive people have a lot of good reason to want to believe and spread these things hot women don't want to consider that they wouldn't be with their partner if he wasn't hot, or that he wouldn't be with her if she wasn't. Hot men don't want to believe they're not oved for their qualities. hot people in general don't want to believe that they're enjoying privilege and other people are excluded from their lives/scenes and j…

that's the one I think trans man journalist Thomas Page McGee wrote an interesting book called "Amateur" about training for a charity boxing match with men who didn't know he was trans, he's very "left wing academic" (spends a lot of the book talking about race and racism for some reason) but he had an interesting experience and interesting "how people treat me now I'm a man" anecdotes "kill all normies" was by a female Irish journalist, it's about the modern PC/SJW internet of the time (she wro…

I tried reading "myth of male power" a few years ago but I found all the points to be pretty familiar to me from MRA forums/subs to the point that I felt like it was a bit redundant to anyone who's hung around online since it came out Steven Biddulph's "manhood" is pretty good imo that one about the woman who lived as a man is interesting (not trans, she was a journalist, I forgot the name) so is "kill all normies"

Someone on ask feminists asked why is women explaining men's behaviour there good, but redpill bad. The response - the oppressed know their oppressors and can understand them better than anyone

there's a blog post from ten years ago about Christian women who are married to guys who converted later and slept around before coming to the church. There's 100s of comments from different women in that position, and their feelings are no different to the average insecure guy - feeling like they've been "robbed", being unable to stop imagining what he did with them, etc. That was what convinced me its not a gendered feeling

i think this is part of why feminists are into trans people so much. Not to bash trans people themselves, who I do think are mostly genuine, but the feminist obsession with them. Because they think we're heading toward a utopia where we're all gonna be trans and bad cis men are gone

In reality it’s more that sexually valuable men tend to have a whole lot of casual sex with a whole lot of women. And sexually less valuable men tend to stick with the woman that will settle for him after none of the better will yeah... and I think it's kind of natural for the "less valuable" man to feel jealous and insecure in that situation, just as a plainer, shyer woman would with a hot guy experienced with models. We're human So the hatred for male sexuality is basically a way of depowering…

hot take, I think both genders are uncomfortable about the other gender's history or the idea of their opposite sex partner's history. I think it's a natural human feeling. We just hear it more from men because men's media is out there more.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
