0	The other 66% is irrelevant Back to my argument, someone who has a problem with an article of this nature because it doesn’t include men are doing the more equivalent of responding to the phrase “black lives matter” with “all lives matter.” Nobody is saying homelessness is acceptable for men or that men don’t have a higher rate of homelessness, the article is simply reporting on an especially vulnerable demographic of the homeless population. You’re also ignoring the likelihood that s homeless woman is fleeing domestic abuse and studies such as this one which reported that 78% of homeless women reported being raped. We should do something about homelessness, in general. Nobody should be homeless but to pretend that homeless women aren’t more vulnerable than their male counterparts isn’t logical. I’ve certainly gone through some tough times and have had to couch surf, sleep in my car or the office where I used to teach but not for longer than a month at a time. I have, however, worked directly with the homeless population in an official capacity. None of that’s really related here, though.
