38 is so important and women experience gaslighting if they say those words out loud. “I am running for my life,” is seen as “this bitch is crazy,” and I hate it.

You certainly could file a complaint with the police if you wanted to. To be forewarned, the legal system drags victims through the mud. Going through the process has been called the “second rape” because it is so violating and traumatic for the victims. Just something to keep in mind. Keep your eyes open and maybe get some cameras for your home and vehicles. If he’s watching your social media, he might be physically watching you, too. You’d have much better luck going to the police with physica…

Actually, the trades are physically laborious and require organizational skills and responsibility to manage appointments, expenses, income, inventory, and personal energy reserves to complete the work. Men who can’t cut it in college certainly cannot expect to be successful in a trade. When you hear about the trades being profitable, it’s the entrepreneur/business owner who makes the money, not the workers he pays. Oh, and don’t forget about the customer service aspect of the trades. Imagine Sc…

Wow, thank you so much for this comment! It really helps me understand why I’ve always been drawn to something so morbid. There is an aspect of honoring the victims and telling their stories that also appeals to me. I like to bless them and their families in my own way. I stopped following everything because I really hate that murders are turned into celebrities. “Serial killers are mysterious and intriguing; let’s psychoanalyze them to see how their superior and anomalous brains function.” ??? …

I used to be into it also. I kept myself up to date on technological advances in forensics and always had a plan to obtain lots of DNA samples from my attackers, and to always leave a piece of me behind. Blood and hair in their car, etc. I always keep myself physically fit so I can escape. My biggest ally is my own brain and intuition. I have learned to outsmart them and always trust gut feelings that say to stay away from someone. This includes women and even children; the most evolved predator…

And on the other side of the same coin, don’t let a man prevent you from having surgery that will make you happy and feel better about yourself. There’s a form of toxic positivity that makes us women feel like we have to accept everything about ourselves (which men enforce), when sometimes a simple surgery will change our whole outlook on life.

Oooo yes! My brother got help while I was thrown in with the sharks. Actually, the doctor knew I had it but my mother knew better. Now it’s hard as an adult to receive treatment because “most ADHD is diagnosed in childhood. Why wasn’t yours?” And another issue was that the doctor didn’t want to give me medication for it unless I was a student or operating dangerous machinery for my profession. That made me so angry because most of those professions are held by men, so we only get medical treatme…

The thing is, they don’t feel guilty! They only feel defensive about being called out for being selfish, and then they CALL it guilt. Women are supposed to be so selfless that they sacrifice their lives for others, while men literally run away.

Yes, another telltale sign is that they sit around with their family or friends and criticize everything about everyone they know. They literally call everyone else stupid for doing things differently than they do.

“[…] while his wife frantically texted him and called police last Saturday.” Clearly his wife saw signs of him being a violent man. Normally if a decent father and husband leaves the home with the kids, the mother doesn’t frantically text him and call the police. Apparently the mother thought he looked like the type.

Yes! In my younger years I was tricked into thinking that family was important to him, which was an important trait to me when looking for a partner. I realized way too late that the importance of family did not extend to the kids and me. It was simply enmeshment and the kids and I are to serve his family the way he does. It is also extremely difficult to divorce these types because they band together and pool their resources to make sure they protect themselves and “their” assets from the gold …

God, this used to be me. I’m so sorry. It came from a lifetime of abuse and gaslighting from my parents and then my husband and his family. I quite literally hated myself until recent years, and I fully believed that I was a burden to everyone. I used to apologize for existing, basically. For getting in someone’s way at the grocery store. It was something that other people kept me blind to from birth. I could not fathom any other way of life. The veil has been lifted; however, and now I cannot u…

I deleted Facebook several years ago and never got into Instagram or anything else besides Reddit (for FDS, of course). I noticed that either I was jealous of people’s lives, or people were so unbearably negative that going online left me feeling miserable. My life has greatly improved from staying away from those things. Also, when I reported a rape, I had no social media for the defense attorney to sift through to suggest I deserved it or wanted it. “Here you are, in a bikini, with a mixed dri…

It induces a Cool Girl mentality and makes Pickmes want to prove that they’re not like other girls by giving the man a performance of a lifetime, every time. It negs women as a whole so that each individual woman feels the effects of it. Just as they intended.

LV people see cars on the road as just cars. “That car is going so slow!” Or “That car is ______.” Do they not realize it’s not a self driving machine? Don’t they understand that there is a person driving that car? Perhaps with other people inside?

Actually, we need to be extra hard on men who react poorly to setting boundaries. If a man exhibits body language like the images in her video, leave immediately. It is intimidation and it is a threat to your safety.

I’m in my 40s now, but I started dating with a strong FDS mindset. It was slowly worn away by scrotes to the point of complete pickme-ism. I used to have the man pay for me, but then one tried to force consent by arguing that he bought me dinner. To me, it said that if I accept anything like dinner or favors from a man, it is perceived to them that I owe him sex. So I learned to never accept gifts from a man. This sentiment was expressed by various men in a multitude of different ways, but that …

I mean, it's for temperature regulation. They scrunch up to be close to the body when it's cold and then relax to cool themselves away from the body when they get too warm. The bigger the testicles, the heavier they will be and the more gravity will take its toll. However, I think they need to have better underwear that support them to not end up with testicular torsion, in addition to saggier balls.

Great post! Thank you for articulating this subject so well and including that video clip for reference. PS, has anyone ever met a HVM who likes It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Such LV garbage.

If the guy is an ass, I cannot find one single attractive feature on his body. Ugly on the inside = ugly on the outside. In a genuine HVM, even his "flaws" are cute to me. If he really is HV, I will perceive him as attractive.

"[...] it's possible to help them save the relationship." I hate the idea of saving a relationship, as though it is more valuable than the people in it. The goal is to be healthy, either together or separate. I feel that therapy with an abuser (or with someone who doesn't love the other partner) is simply a professional gaslighting service for the one who holds the power in the relationship. I appreciate your experiences and conclusions. Thank you for this post and for helping people!

This is interesting because I was not attracted to this man's physical appearance when I clicked on this video. Not my type. After watching it a few times and listening to his message, I looked at him differently and found him quite attractive.

Keep in mind how you feel right now and realize that he is most likely happy as a clam with this arrangement. This is probably the life he dreamed of.

Yes! I've also noticed that this man doesn't like teachers, nurses (or the healthcare system in general, but F* nurses in particular), law enforcement or anyone who is "important" by society's standards. I think it's because they call him out on his deficits and expect more from him. This man also refrains from going to the doctor and dentist for general health maintenance. "It'll be fine. You worry too much." Followed by a shocked Pikachu face when everything is not fine.

I've been thinking about the best ways to spot these types, too. Looking back, the biggest indicator was a lack of enthusiasm. He did not care as much as I did about anything. I'll think more on this because there definitely were signs.

Ohhh, I can't go into details on reddit, but I know this type intimately. This is your everyday, law abiding man. He, and everyone else, thinks he's such a great guy! He gets a parade thrown in his honor when he changes a diaper, babysits his own children, or washes a dish. He holds a steady job and can be quite responsible when he needs to be. He'll even do chores when he's asked. He does not overtly abuse his wife or children. This type of man is emotionally exhausting to live with. He neglect…

I kind of had an epiphany about it when I was reading what you said to him. I feel so silenced as a woman that I'm afraid to speak my mind even in comments on Reddit. WOW. And what's the worst that can happen? Downvotes?!? Anything but downvotes!
