There is a proposal to do blackouts every tuesday, I think that's a good balance between supporting the protest (much more effective than a single two-day event) and continuing to advocate for this cause in a space as notorious as reddit. Also, keeping this sub alive is convenient for redirecting current and future members to communities into the fediverse, or wherever outside of reddit. I have seen their opposition very often, but never their support. The most recent case I remember is that of Telmo Irureta, who has cerebral palsy. I think most people, regardless of gender, are pretty ignorant on this issue. Some time ago my city made a 24/365 center to help victims of rape and sexual assault. Only for women and girls. It was requested in a plenary session that they also attend to boys, since they have to wait about 6 months to use the neutral centers. To complement, it is actually normal to have phimosis at that age, it is the case for most mammals. It usually resolves naturally before or during puberty. You leave out what is by far the main reason for the gap: motherhood. This is also a matter of personal choice, but of course feminists will blame sexist social pressure. Instead fathers (who want to be fathers, since for men it is hardly a choice) will work more without enjoying fatherhood, but there is never pressure or patriarchy here, only men responsible for their own actions.
