In college I was friendzoned by this girl. Was totally into her. I would just get drunk and make advances at her over the course of a month. Eventually she gave in and we started dating. Fuck yea for alcohol? But that's not really helpful at all. Sorry.

No I was escalating and seducing. She wouldn't do much beyond heavy make out sessions. She said she only sleeps with guys after at least a month. So I respected that but still kept it very sexual. Then she started talking to her ex again and it was easy to see her entire mood changed. Way less receptive, a lot more distant, cold etc. at which point I concluded she was still attached to him

Thanks. I kind of just threw my cards out on the table. It didn't seem like a good use of my time trying to win her over her ex. Made more sense to me I guess to put the ball in her court so she can come to me if she's ready even though that goes against every pick up guide ever.

Yea it was definitely a knee jerk type reaction. Don't necessarily agree with me thinking I don't have a chance. She is definitely into me, but she just isn't over this douche of an ex (who she always complains about and talks about how much of an ass he is) I guess I was trying to just tell her I'm not going to waste my time as long as she's still attached to her ex. Except I imagine it probably came off as pathetic. Oh well.

I lost my shit at "In the end though, I got way too drunk and blacked out. I had a couple out-going calls to a number that wasn't saved in my phone. It was a girl from the bar, but I didn't remember her name. It didn't seem like a very good situation to follow up on." I used to always do this shit. Completely burns any and all bridges with that person. Doesn't happen anymore now that I've gotten rid of my alcohol crutch
