People tell you they think you are scary. You can't figure out why. If you were well-calibrated you'd be able to link certain behaviors to their reactions and know what to stop doing.

I knew some dudes in college who could score at will, and had rotating harems. But they sure as hell didn't go around bragging about it.

Been pursued by them. Used to hang occasionally with some work friends who lived in the city (Detroit) and their wives/girlfriends' friends would be all over me. Didn't indulge, not my thing.

It means you can't read their cues. If a girl is uncomfortable you can't read it so you can't make adjustments.

(disclaimer: the below advice will work for a healthy, well adjusted female. If your wife is a crazy bitch, well, sucks to be you) RP has given me an understanding of female psychology and motivations. For example: I understand that my wife's femininity and her neuroticism are flip sides of the same coin. Understanding that enables me to process when she behaves irrationally or unpredictably. Heck, I even encourage her emotional expressions, because they are manifestations of femininity. On the …

I'm 54, married 26 years. I discovered "game" and RP about five years ago. It absolutely works. my marriage has improved tremendously. It's about understanding female nature and acting accordingly. It's not a manipulation trick, it's a perspective on reality.

Not dating but a long time married guy here. I think the advice holds though. Cultivate emotional stability. Learn not to react emotionally to things.

You just spent several hours with a woman. The timing of your follow up text isn't going to matter. Text her whenever you want. Propose a new meetup. Get out of your head.

I've noticed this as well. There's a lot of theory or abstract posts versus field reports or experience based observations and conclusions. I figure it's young or inexperienced people trying to figure things out. But man, what people don't seem to get is, all this game stuff is optimization, not fundamentals. You still have to be attractive.

I've been married 26 years. I had the "buffet" experience in college and I don't regret any of it. But you are absolutely right, having that deep intimate relationship is infinitely more rewarding. When I was 24, I had this moment where I swore off the party girls and decided I would look for nice, sweet, marrying girls instead. Within a few months, there she was, and the rest is history. By the way - I'll guess your "success" at pickup was not due to studying, but rather that you were attractiv…

Not my story but my brother's and I saw it happen. My wedding reception was held in a college banquet hall. One of the other halls in the building had some sort of formal dance going on, and some girls wandered over to our reception. My brother chats them up for a few minutes, then gives them his hotel room number, tells them "Come on by later, I'd like to sodomize both of you", and then walks away. Around 2:00 AM, they BOTH show up to his room.

"Years ago, when I was backpacking across Western Europe, I was just outside Barcelona, hiking in the foothills of mount Tibidabo. I was at the end of this path, and I came to a clearing, and there was a lake, very secluded, and there were tall trees all around. It was dead silent. Gorgeous. And across the lake I saw, a beautiful woman, bathing herself. but she was crying..."

Start a conversation. "You seem like you' d be interested in [whatever] , I'd love to hear your opinions on [x]. " Keep the conversation going with added thoughts or questions. When the time is right float a get-together.

Married over 25 years here, and what follows is an account from a guy who has sort of figured it out. My marriage has always been OK but then something happened that took it up several notches: Back in '21, I got into a stupid fight with my wife over my work. I let her know that I had gotten staffed on some consulting work for a "Big Pharma" corporation. She made some sarcastic demeaning remarks about it and I lost it. I told her she was ungrateful, petty, childish, and a bunch of other unflatte…

I disagree. They won't tell you, but they'll usually show you, if you're paying attention. How do most of her relationships (Friends, family, coworkers, whatever) look? Does she over-react? Does she dramatize everything? Does she respond inappropriately when things go wrong? Does she default to blaming people? Does she seem to be surrounded by toxic people? Does she gossip or badmouth people? Put her in situations where she'll experience the right stimuli, and she'll show you everything.

Usefulness and ease of implementation are generally inversely correlated. Lay Count is an easy button, a fallback for people who can't read people. You briefly mention a few personality attributes to look for. This is the way to go, although my list would be a little different. These are easily discernible to people know who themselves and understand human motivations and common archetypes, but are utterly opaque to those who do not.

This shit does not work in a high-performing culture. People who play these political games are always found out in the end. A simping yes-man provides no value. Do quality work. Do what you say you're going to do. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Make your projects succeed.

I didn't buy my first house until I was almost 40, and I didn't buy my "nice" house until 45. Life has always sucked for young men. It gets better, and this inflation is transient, it'll go away. I hate it when young people bitch and moan about how unfair the world is for them. The world is better than ever in a lot of ways.

I make a tad over 100k and have 4 kids and a stay-at-home wife. Two of my kids have new cars, one is in college, we have a nice house in a safe and pretty neighborhood, and my retirement is well funded. We don't travel to Europe or drive Ferraris, but I live a life beyond my wildest dreams of 20 years ago. Midwest US. Sheesh. EDIT; Oh, this guy is selling something. it all makes sense now.
