I hear you brother but when analysing a story we can sometimes start projecting what we think will happen based on our own preconceived notions. Look at the way Rose lived her life after Titanic. She purposefully lived a working class life and fulfilled her promise to Jack of doing what she truly wanted as can be seen with the pictures by her bedside at the end. "Nobody will notice the thousands of deaths in the background" Huh? The entire second half of the movie was nothing but those 1500 people that died. We see deaths in every single scene and Rose specifically comments at the end about how 1500 people were going to die and only one boat came back.
