At a certain point it just became a strange fascination on how weird it would get. And I was wondering where he was going. I left a bit disappointed tbh, don’t recommend

Do we get a reward for making it through that? Felt like it was just a crazy stream of messy consciousness from someone tripping on drugs rather than a thought out post with a point.

It’s kinda strange but also kinda cute and endearing. I think I’d prefer the more traditional route though.

No blue piller or woman cannot seem to grasp that PPBs can be good looking and successful. Honestly, the better looking you are, the more fun you’ll have as a PPB

Is it in SEA? If so, I doubt it. There are a lot of old bald fat Russian losers there, sure; but there are also a ton of young fit average looking 20s something guys that absolutely kill it there. This may come down to semantics but I’d argue that the old bald fat Russians are sex tourists or overseas sugar daddys; whereas the young bucks who the women genuinely want to fuck are passport bros Common misunderstanding though.

If men like me or the guys I mentioned in point 1 begin PPBing at higher levels, there will be less datable men in the west — making it easier for other guys like me or the guys I mentioned in point 1 because they’d have more options and less competition. How are you not following the logic?

“The men going abroad to date and marry are more than likely not desirable in the first place” As you’ve conceded, even desirable men get an advantage overseas. If desirable men get an advantage overseas, more desirable men are more likely to go overseas.

I can pull well above average in any country. Met my current girlfriend in the west and she’s very attractive — objectively a 7 (significantly above average). My point is that it’s way easier to pull attractive girls in SEA and casual sex with decent looking girls is significantly more frequent. As such, even good-looking guys benefit from being a PPB. Actually, I’ll rephrase, good-looking guys benefit more than average or undesirable guys. Many travellers know this.

When I say 5s and 6s, I mean average (so think of your friend group and pick the one in the middle in terms of looks) to above average looking (the one that the guys gravitate towards). 6s are generally thought of as being attractive/cute to the general population. Being able to date average looking and attractive women in the west makes you undesirable?

Not necessarily. I know two guys that are pretty good looking and successful that lived in SEA/Korea for their 20s and then married local women. It’s becoming a wider phenomenon because jobs are becoming more remote. I don’t struggle with women in the west, but I do become an “overnight rockstar” in certain countries (not my own phrase). Anyone able to date 5s and 6s in the west would be able to date 7s and 8s in certain countries. Casual sex is also typically easier. This means that good lookin…

I kinda agree, but kinda don’t. Not all first dates lead to a second. So just because she agreed to a first date, doesn’t mean she’s head over heels for you and you’ve already won. The date still matters and she’s still in the filtering phase. I will say how charming and fun and cool you are on the date matters significantly more than the money you spend on her, but if she suggests dinner and you go on an incel rant about how you shouldn’t have to do dinner on a first date, you’re shooting yours…

Some woman just don’t like it. I have talked with them about it and they don’t want it. I’m not going to pressure them into doing something sexual that they expressed no desire in. Are you straight? If yes, just talk with some of your straight friends, you’ll learn that many just don’t like it. If you’re lesbian, I can understand why it’s confusing to you because all girls you’ve been with have probably been super into it. But as someone who’s been with around 40 women, I know that many like it …

You’re saying I called you a loser, I didn’t. I said if you see so many LBH, how can you know you’re not one yourself? It’s not a personal attack if it’s an assumption based on the information you provided. Is it wrong? You’re welcome to inform me if I’m incorrect.

Self-reported data isn’t objective proof. You shouldn’t have to be told this. It is evidence, but it is relatively unreliable evidence like a witness at the scene of a crime who thinks he knows what he saw and thinks he can identify the criminal. We know witnesses can be wrong.

Lesbians typically get off by eating each other out, which is the easiest and quickest way to make a woman orgasm. Many straight women don’t even want to be given oral sex. About half the women I’ve been with have told me no when I’ve tried to go down on them. I feel like the way in which people have sex plays a bigger role than gender/selfishness.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 11:49 PM

Tbf, self-reported data is pretty unreliable from both men and women. Not only do some people consciously lie on surveys, but many others may have convinced themself of something that isn’t true.

Be an average looking white guy in his 20s (not fat, not bald, not below 5’5, not super ugly). Massive bonus if you’re in shape. The better looking you are, the better this works. Also, blonde hair is a bonus, and if you have colourful eyes make sure it’s easy to see that in your photos. Take some really good photos of yourself (dress in an old money style for best results) and add them to your tinder. Fly to a city like Bangkok (you’ll have success everywhere in SEA, but Bangkok is a different …

Actually, she was arguing that women don’t enjoy sex. She’s said it several times. And men don’t always enjoy sex either if the woman isn’t attractive in his eyes. Fucking an ugly fat chick or an older woman can be pretty unpleasant for a dude as well. So this goes both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 10:25 PM

She’s arguing that “being plowed (in other words, heterosexual sex for women)… is awful.” She may be a closet lesbian or asexual (not meaning this in an offensive way). Many women enjoy sex… with men. Many prostitutes also enjoy sex… you both are just projecting your own feelings towards it.

I reckon about half my first dates have led to what I’d consider a favourable outcome for myself. Like eventually getting laid on the second or third date and having it potentially will lead to a fling or relationship. I’ve had a few girls that got to date 3 or 4 before I realised I was investing in a sinking ship. You kinda gotta take some risks mate. I’ve definitely blown $200+ on a failed attempt, but hey shooter shoot. Even MJ had off days. The home runs make the strike outs worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 12:46 PM

They’re not entitled to it, but if a $10 drink is the dating requirement needed to potentially get laid or find a girlfriend, who cares? Why be so cheap?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 11:57 AM
2

Then it’s possible that you surround yourself with LBHs. I’ve been to SEA twice with two different buddies. All three of us are pretty average white guys with some favourable traits. I have green eyes and am pretty lean/ripped. One of my buddies is tall. And the other is probably a bit above average facially. We all cleaned up. Could’ve gone on a date every single night if we wanted to. Casual sex pretty much every other night. At most we bought the girls the drinks (which is a standard practice…

How has dating been for you? Not great probably. We live in a society where men look cheap/broke if they don’t buy the drink. Is it fair in 2026? Not really. But no one cares what’s fair. You gotta play the game to win the prize, even if the game is tedious and you don’t agree with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 03:47 AM

Are you trolling or you can’t read? My advice is to take a woman for a $5 coffee or a $10 drink — not an expensive dinner. But being vocal about being “financially celibate” is pretty retarded and lame and will make a woman dryer than the Sahara Desert.

It’s crazy how much they do and will try to justify this innate hatred any which way they can. Why can’t they just let men be men be happy (and let the foreign women be happy with greater optionality).

The vast majority of PPBs go on vacation for a few months and have casual sex with the local girls. Not all PPBs are trying to get married lol. Local girls like PPBs (not the old fat bald ones but a fit healthy average 25 year old white guy from the west). An average 20-30 year old PPB has these advantages over the local male population: taller bigger dick more masculine/more muscular/wider shoulders white skin/blue eyes wealthier exotic looks a bit like famous actors from popular movies (to the…

I don’t think the red pill is important for the women you date to understand (they already know deep down that appearance and money and status actually are really important to them), and they don’t really like being called liars. It’s better if men just have this knowledge/understanding and then act accordingly in dating. However, from a societal perspective, I think the media should be criticised for how they portray men vs women these days. That’s who needs to acknowledge the red pill a little…

I agree, it’s important to watch what women actually do instead of listening to what they say (this actually applies to men as well). The problem is that the mainstream is all about believing what women say and showcasing them as these morally superior creatures when they’re just as hormone/instinct driven as men are.

The topic is about women having massive social/legal benefits/advantages. Feminists claim that men (not women) are the ones that have social/legal benefits/advantages. This comment reveals many examples that demonstrate that feminists are wrong about this. Whether feminists are against conscription or not is irrelevant to this topic, as the claim is that women have it easier than men (which opposes feminist thought), not what feminists want. As for feminists being anti-capitalist… you should rea…

Well, you don’t have to. That’s what the Red Pill is for. The Red pill’s main objective is about understanding female nature through observation, shared experience, and evolutionary psychology; then developing the best strategies to proceed in dating.

This issue is that women claim guys are generally shallow, superficial, objectifying asshole in dating while simultaneously pretending that women essentially only value kindness, humour, and intelligence. And that’s bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 12:25 AM
47

On the whole, both men and women are extremely self-interested and superficial in dating, and we’re biologically wired that way. There isn’t anything necessarily wrong with that, it’s just how we evolved. Only difference is that women claim guys are selfish, shallow assholes while pretending that women aren’t.

No, it’s not. Unless the woman is bisexual. If you’re making such a bold/unbelievable claim — can you provide a source? Even if this is true for women, it’s not true for men. I know plenty of men that have fucked women they’re not attracted to, but they still won’t fuck dudes unless they’re gay/bi. Mate, go pay to have sex with homeless men if that’s such an appealing option. Your argument is so detached from reality and stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 11:10 PM
3

Having sex with someone you’re not that attracted to vs. having sex with the gender you’re not attracted is insanely different tf you talking about? 😂 And mate, have you met a homeless man? I don’t think many if any women or men are going to pay for sex with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 01:38 PM
4

Well, firstly, because gay men get laid very easily, so they don’t have to resort to paying for homeless drug addict sex as often — so the market isn’t nearly as big. And more importantly — Prostitution with the sex you’re attracted to =/= prostitution with the sex you’re not attracted to. This should be a given. If ugly women were paying homeless men to fuck them, I bet a lot of them would do it, but there is no market for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 12:30 PM

This is really on point. But I think the easiest was to demonstrate why women live life on easy mode is to think about a simple truth bluntly blurted out in a Rick and Morty quote. When talking about Morty’s future and why he needs an education and will have to work really hard in life, Beth argues: “It's not like (Morty is) a girl, he can't just bail on his life and set up shop in someone else's!”

Society expects men to protect women. The social expectation is that men pay for a first date, women are interested too or they wouldn’t be there (unless they’re using him for dinner which is even worse). If being a prostitute is worse than being homeless, why don’t women also choose to be homeless? Having a choice is better than not having a choice and is still a privilege. I Respect the effort you put into this comment. I see what you’re saying, really — and two or three of those niches are probably pretty effective. But putting on an act and changing your behaviour to attract women is lame if it isn’t actually you. The men who get women are the men who really want women and are willing to shoot their shot. You don’t have to change your personality, you just need to be motivated to get some action. I’m just a normal dude and since getting laid like 13 years ago, I…

If you approach fitness the correct way and have good style, you’ll do fine with women either way. But I don’t totally disagree with what you’re saying. I think nichemaxxing is valid, it’s just difficult to pull off. Can you give me like 5 examples of niches you think would attract women? Like I feel like being a gamer/nerd is a bit played out, same with the hipster vibe is like 2016. Goth/dark aesthetic isn’t appropriate for people with a normal job… I’m curious what your take is here
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 07:49 AM

Being conventionally attractive > nichemaxxed if done correctly > average and boring > below average. But nichemaxxing is kinda difficult to pull off and can come across a disingenuous when you’re just dressing a certain style and behaving a certain way to get with women. That’s why being conventionally attractive is a better option — and it looks good on everyone. Gym, money, clean well fitting clothes, nicely groomed, etc. etc. will have the mass appeal and is probably the best route to take. …

This is called nichemaxxing (hate the names for this kind of shit) and it’s a well established strategy in the manosphere.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 06:19 AM
1

This just depends on how you define a PPB I guess. But when the Redpill/manosphere is talking about being a PPB they’re talking about my version. No one aspires to be a an old fat bald guy leveraging money for sex in a foreign country. In the manosphere, it’s about leveraging your total SMV to be able to have better dating options.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 09:42 PM
1

You’re ignoring the other reasons a PPB is appealing to foreign women. Depending on the location you choose, a PPB’s SMV increases once he moves/travels as he becomes taller, more masculine, stronger, bigger, more exotic (pale skin and colourful eyes are a beauty standard elsewhere), and yes more wealthy. This of course, is all relative to the male population in that area. I’ve cleaned up when I go overseas because my biggest disadvantage in the west (being a bit shorter than average) is no long…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 09:20 PM

If they’re a sex tourist calling themselves a PPB, they’re the same as a guy who fucks hookers and calls himself a real player. Can they describe themselves as such? Yea I guess, but that doesn’t make it true. They’re different by definition.

I feel like this sub is pretty 50/50 if you look at the posts and ascribe them to being a RP take vs a BP take. There are also some crazy incel takes and crazy feminist takes. As such, I stand by my initial comment — there is crazy on both sides.

Tbf, the women are just as crazy as the men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 09:39 AM

I just meant it as a common phrase. Like, if they don’t mind… it won’t hurt your chances or impact the date. That would be the implied rest of the sentence. Same with the car example — if a girl asks me on a date and I say “yeah, I don’t have a car but I’d still like to meet up with you if you don’t mind”. That’s all.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 08:46 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 08:40 AM

Fair enough. If you look good enough without it or your date doesn’t mind.. who needs it. I hate kissing lipstick (also think lipstick doesn’t make women look better), I’ve never had an issue with foundation though, except maybe getting some on my shirt
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 08:33 AM
1

And gay men can be pedophiles. The only important part is the abnormal sexual attraction aspect. *just showing you how stupid your logic is. If you don’t understand the difference between a PPB and a sex tourist, then you shouldn’t see the difference between a player who sleeps with a lot of women vs. a guy who bangs hookers and calls himself a real “lady’s man”.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 08:25 AM
1

I agree that there’s a big difference between buying a drink vs funding a lifestyle. But if you’re funding a lifestyle, you’re a sugar daddy overseas, not a PPB.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 08:14 AM
3

It’s not unfair, and it’s more strange than petty. Like, that attitude just cannot be helpful, I agree with you there. However, a much better practice for men would be to still pay for the first date — but to only go for a drink on the first date (alcoholic or coffee). Spending 1.5 hours and potentially like $100 dollars on a dinner date with someone you don’t even know you’ll like is the issue here. If a woman demands a dinner date then she’s the one being unreasonable, and you should just move…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 07:58 AM

A very reasonable take here. Men doing this are probably shooting themselves in the foot and ruining their chances at getting laid or getting a girlfriend over like $40 on a first date. If a man has a high enough SMV to do this kind of thing and women still want to fuck/date them, then who cares? It’s not hurting anyone. A Better rule of thumb (and without getting petty) is to just have a standard rule that date 1 is always just a drink first (alcoholic or coffee). Committing to 1.5 hours and ~$…

What an odd example. Not owning a car does not prevent you from casual dating or even getting into a relationship. During times travelling abroad, I’ve gone on heaps of dates and gotten laid a ton of times without having a car — it’s basically an advantage because you can always drink on the date and don’t have to worry about driving after. I’ve also had stretches of times in my life where I haven’t had a car and just used my girlfriend’s vehicle to drive us around. Dumb example.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 07:37 AM

If it was everyone for themselves in disaster situations and men were just looking out for themselves, it would lead to more women and children dying in those situations (and more overall death). The logic is that more men would be capable of getting out of a dangerous situation (which is likely true due to physical advantages) so we should prioritise getting the women and children out first.

Roughly 40% of all new relationships began through a dating app (by far the largest avenue). Telling men to further limit dating options will result in them being even less likely to get into a relationship. The fact that we’re having a disagreement about this at all shows that it really isn’t that simple. Most men aren’t perceived as being attractive & many women are worried they’re only being pursued for sex or merely because they’re attractive; Many men struggle with finding a woman to date t…

An average man will get rejected on a dating app by 95%+ of women. Only 35% of first dates lead to a second date — even fewer will lead to a third date and beyond. Around 75-85% of all romantic relationships fail. Around 40-50% of marriages end in divorce. Of the marriages that remain, many are unhappy but just unwilling to leave. I think the number speak for themselves.

Attracting, dating, and maintaining a healthy relationship are actually extremely complex topics and you can get things so wrong so easily.

“A nice pretty, girl who’s nice to him and basically smart, that is all your friends, that is everyone you know.” No it is not. Most women aren’t that nice — especially at that age. Most aren’t pretty (I’d wager around 20-40% depending on location are conventionally attractive at 25). Most have close to an average IQ (not sure if the qualifies as being ‘basically smart’). It’s possible your friend group are all former high school cheerleaders going to Brown and you perceive them as nice because …

This is one of the weirdest takes of all time. How sad and lonely do you have to be to come up with this nonsense. Also, you can be extremely poor and still have sex with a hooker for like $100 or less in some places. But like, why would you want to? “The greatest joy in life is fucking a woman who wants to fuck you.”

RP ideology isn’t about hating women, it’s about understanding female nature and being able to predict dating behaviour based off observations across different cultures around the globe. If understanding women makes you hate them, that’s on you. To me, I don’t view women better or worse than men — I think it’s clear we’re all just animals ruled by our hormones which create subconscious goals in surviving and reproducing.

Nah, it’s not necessarily reflective of the guy (though he may also suck at sex). Some women are of course quite good at sex and freaky, but the vast majority kinda do just lay there or hold the doggy position and don’t give great head. Sometimes it’s a chemistry issue, but I think it’s mostly just that women don’t really need to be good at sex and there isn’t all that much pressure or expectation to be good. Men are also expected to be the leaders and in the dominant role, so it’s just a man’s …

Not necessarily, I was just saying every guy I know has been capable of sleeping with at least a handful of women in their teens or early 20s and been able to find a girlfriend by 22. It’s not some impossible task reserved for Chad. But if you’re 20 and a virgin it’s chill, that doesn’t make you an incel as long as you’re not coping online like a bitch. One of your main points was that women’s standards were not actually that high. Having 100 points you’re looking for in a partner isn’t high standards? Compared to 7? Another one of your points was that men are just as picky as women — this anecdote refutes that and is a perfect example of why your post is utter nonsense.

My girlfriend showed me a journal entry listing everything she was hoping for in a man (she wrote it well before meeting me). It had over 100 points. We went through each and agreed that I met the threshold for about 95% of them, so they weren’t hard standards but they were very strong preferences with some deal breakers. I had one on my phone notes too before meeting her (copy pasted from the app): Attractive (to me) — not overweight, cute face, no glaring deformities/issues. Not too crazy Does…

I think most people marry for love at first, then slowly begin to resent their partner overtime and stay out of convenience and after realising they’re too old and/or too unattractive to really pursue the type of relationship or partner they’d desire. They just convince themselves it’s out of love. Convenience = security and a higher quality of life for the woman (dual income > single income) and access to some sex rather than no sex for the man.

Does that lie really work though? Telling a girl you haven’t had sex with yet that you see a future with her. That seems laughable in 2025. I’ve had sex on plenty of first dates but I’ve never said some crazy shit like that. In modern times, I’m Pretty sure most women would see that as a massssssive red flag if a dude said some shit like that before even having sex and dating for a few months first. Women get with PPBs because they want to, not through money or coercion. Do you know any PPBs in real life? I’ve been one and travelled with a few. I don’t think they call themselves that name, but if you understand that you’re leveraging attraction through relativity (by travelling to a place with less desirable men), you’re a PPB. Sex tourism is about paying for sex where prostitution is legal and/or cheap. PPB/geomaxxer is about increasing relative SMV to increase dating options/casual sex. A PPB/geomaxxer cares about genuine desire and wants to actually attract attractive women. A sex tourist just wants sex and fake validation. They are fundamentally different. But the confusion is a part of why there is a negative stereotype around PPB. Not all PPBs move, most just travel and have some harmless fun with local girls who…

Yes, they do. China, Japan, South Korea. Those destinations are just less popular because living there or travelling more will cost more and women in those countries don’t have to learn English because their economy is not propelled only by tourism. Also, a wealthy country doesn’t mean there isn’t poverty. You could go to the wealthiest country in the world and still go for poor women. So, it isn’t about that. A factor, but not what actually provokes the genuine desire. The genuine desire is what makes a PPB a PPB. If he’s merely paying for sex, he’s a sex tourist. It’s not criticised because of money/exploitation, it’s criticised because people view it as cheating/short cut to artificially enhance your attractiveness. A mail order bride isn’t PPB, that’s a mail order bride. I think you’re just confused on what a PPB is. It’s someone who goes somewhere to increase dating options and have easier access…

Not true. PPB is criticised because it’s perceived as cheating. Men that aren’t willing to take this measure (as it is inconvenient or implausible to travel to the other side of the world to date) don’t like the fact that other less attractive men can leave and obtain a more attractive partner than them so they demonise it. Women don’t like the idea that men they reject or would make work extremely hard to keep their attention can go elsewhere and get with more attractive women than them so they…

No your first point was about money, and I was correcting it by saying that money is merely one of the many factors that leads to the increase in relative SMV. The other one’s actual result in genuine desire too, so downplaying or negating them entirely misses the point of going overseas. You could just buy a prostitute or sugardaddy if that was all a PPB/geomaxxer cared about. You stated that other cultures are misogynistic and that geomaxxers take advantage of that. How so? Major power imbalances are commonplace in relationships in the west too though. There are rich and poor people here as well . There are couples where one partner is obsessed with the other partner. I did pretty well on dating apps. 15% being pretty fuckable is still disappointingly low. Fuckable = not obese or overweight (with bad proportions) & not horrible face. Possible that she’s imagining an average man as:- - 25-30 years old in great shape (athletic build) attractive face (no major facial flaws, few minor facial flaws) good hairline good style In other words, a 5’9 guy that aside from his height, is far far better than average. And when she says matching with 1000s of women, it means ~80% being low quality (overweight/ugly) and 15% being fuckable and 5% being attractive.

But to add to that, I think self-reported data can be incredibly deceptive as well and has many valid restrictions, and may not be indicative of the truth. I think it is only marginally better than anecdotal observations on a topic everyone seems to lie about. I mean, think about it, even you thought I was lying. So, honestly I’m not sure anyone can actually know the truth for this one

Yeah could be my frame of reference and social exposure. I’m mainly talking about the dating pool in relatively large cities in western (but not religious) countries because that’s what I’ve been exposed to. I disagree. I think people are just romanticising the past and think about weed smoking hippies and free sex for all, but that’s not really a true reflection. Soooooo many of my buddies parents growing up were high school/college sweethearts. And you basically never see that shit today. I don’t know a single person in my circle without 10 bodies except my girlfriend and even she has 8.

That’s a misconception. In terms of sheer sexual partners (looking at the AVERAGE not the median/mode), people are having more casual sex now. Things like tinder, “situationships”/lack of commitment, and the rise in cheating are major contributors as to why that is. But I mean, even anecdotally it checks out. I have around 40 and I’m basically on the lower end of my friend group. Like I said, a couple of my buddies are in the 100s. That kind of shit just wasn’t practical without dating apps. Ima…

Your initial claim was that boomers had more sex and more partners than millennials and Gen Z. The studies show that the opposite is true, that millennials and Gen Z has as much or more sex than past generations. Your claim is incorrect based off the studies you cited in trying to prove your point. In addition to that, I question how reliable self-reported data is, and who is being surveyed. Anecdotally, pretty much every woman I’ve talked to about this has told me they’ve slept with 15+. The fe…

That was in reference to your “actually I’m a Gen Z!🙋‍♀️” comment. You think my argument is poor based off of your emotion towards, you don’t want to engage further because you know that it is logically sound. Calling women a slut in 2025 is absolutely taboo. It is prohibited in school, the workplace, and basically every institution. It is frowned upon on the internet and in pop culture whenever a male character calls a woman a slut on tv or movies he’s always positioned as being the bad guy. It…

Mature, when you’ve plainly lost the debate just give a hollow retort that ignores that I’m correct. Calling women sluts is taboo. I mean, isn’t that a good thing? Or like do you want it to not be taboo and socially acceptable? Or do you just like the idea of women being perpetual victims? I’m confused.

Depends on what the high schooler or employee is calling the male — incel, asshole, or bastard wouldn’t receive the same punishment as faggot to a (presumably gay) male, slut/whore to a female, or n**** to a black person. Certain slurs are different level of taboo. If you called me an asshole, you may get detention in high school or a warning in the office, but you and I both know it isn’t the same. Also, if a woman alludes to her cousin being a player or having a lot of sexual partners at a tha…

Did you not read the study you’re trying to use to prove your point? It went from 3 (and top 20% at 7) in 2002 to 4 (and top 20% at 8) in 2013 and tied for the all-time high in 1950-1960 (meaning more sex and sex partners not less). Your claim was that people are having less sex partners and less sex than the past, but the study that you provided refutes that claim.

A) online =/= real life. B) taboo = prohibited/socially unacceptable. If you’re a high school student and call a girl a slut you get suspended. If you call a coworker a whore you get fired. At thanksgiving, if you ask a female cousin her body count, you’ll get a lot of strange looks and people will later say how weird you are. The existence of slut shaming online does not make it not taboo. It is taboo. Even major YouTube channels like fresh and fit get blacklisted and demonetised for slut shami…

Taboo = “prohibited or restricted by social custom.” Meaning there will be ramifications to breaking the ‘rule’. That sentence implies real life scenarios, like if you call a classmate a slut you may get suspended, if you call a coworker a whore, you may lose your job. Also, as far as those online spaces you’re referencing, think about something like fresh and fit (a somewhat popular but totally over the top redpill YouTube channel) — it essentially got blacklisted from YouTube and demonetised f…

Right, but OPs claim was: “it is taboo to slut shame women or ask them their body count in real life.” The first commenter asked “is it?”. The answer is: Yes, it is for anyone under 35, and we know we have to watch what we say. We all know that that is inappropriate and could have major ramifications including losing your career over a comment. With boomers, relationships were the norm. With under 30, tinder hookups are the norm. I have several buddies with 100+ body count and I’ve met some with over 400. That shit is basically only viable with something like a dating app. It’s not that boomers never had casual sex, but it’s not comparable to the modern times feast or famine module. And that makes boomers a bit out of touch in this discussion.

The study’s scope only measures ‘in the last year’ (not the entirety of someone’s 20s) and it’s focussed on the median not the average which is flawed as their will be many women who have been in a committed relationship (meaning a lot of 1’s). Also, where does it compare this cherry-picked approach to boomers? Believe what you want. It’s 39. In a year I spent travelling in my mid twenties I slept with 22 of them. Dependent-trailer doesn’t understand this basic concept: Woman A has 3 established romantic relationships, and has sex with each of her partners of 1000 times. Woman B has never been in an established romantic relationship, but has had sex with 20 men 10 times. Partner = relationship. Which I agree with. Partner =/= casual sex/hookup/one-night-stand. Read my example again. The example clearly shows how a person can have MORE overall sex in their life and MORE established romantic relationship, but less sexual partners. I can use a real life example too: One of my best mates has had 5 girlfriends in his life, with his most recent being a decade and continuing (basically all of his 20s). Tell that to my previous (and current) partners. No offence but based on the vibe you give off, I’m nearly certain you’re either overweight or otherwise unattractive. How do you think the human species carries on from one generation to the next? It’s honestly fairly retarded to pretend like dating/mating isn’t essential to the human experience. But I think you’re right — dating/mating is not equivalent to wage/housing/politics — it is far far more important.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 12:35 AM

Actually, dating/mating is objectively far more important than housing/wage to the human species. As a species, we would cease to exist without reproduction. Dating/mating is what leads to reproduction. We survived hundreds of thousands of years without a wage or modern housing infrastructure. We wouldn’t last more than 100 years if reproduction ceased. Also, from a subjective point of view, it’s honestly arguable which is more important. If I conducted a poll for men, I’m not so sure you’d like…

As if dating isn’t as essential to the quality of life we have and pretty much as important as getting a wage, living in a home, or eating to the majority of people. Exactly. These women need to (and they eventually do) just settle for a suboptimal option that they’ll regret marrying or not date at all until they’re 37 and desperate to find someone to have a family with. Standards aren’t important and women should have less standards and not prioritise who they’re attracted to but rather the men who have the traits they’re looking for. In principle, sure it would be great if men got to choose to be stay at home fathers — but in reality that isn’t a choice. If a man openly expresses he wants to be a stay at home father his dating options would be practically non-existent. He’d much more likely end up homeless than succeed at finding a woman to just provide for him for his entire life. In society in 2025, women get that choice and men don’t. The difference between what you’re claiming to be objectifying vs sexualising isn’t merely behaviour — it’s how you’re perceived by the women getting your attention. If you don’t see that you’re living in a bubble

lol I think you’re the one that doesn’t have a clue mate or you’re just from a dated generation where men were actually pretty shit towards women. No one says shit like that to women from my generation. It’s almost always old men living in the past Also, the difference between a girl liking being “admired” and feeling uncomfortable because a creep is staring at her is primarily about how attractive the dude looking is. Exhibit A is your meme.

Staring isn’t objectifying, it’d be closer to sexualising according to your definitions. Also, saying something thirsty or even cat-calling is closer to harassment than objectifying. And if you actually look at the comments, it’s like mostly bots foreigners and a lot of older men (gen x and boomers judging from their stupid truck selfies).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 10:46 PM

Maybe the disconnect is a generational thing. I don’t think any of my friends or really any of the guys I’ve met in my life look at a girl and think “I want to rape her” or “I deserve her” or “she is an object” ….. but all my straight male friends will say things like “she’s super hot” or even “she’s pretty but she doesn’t got much else going on for her” The way you’re defining objectifying doesn’t really exist in the younger generations. I feel like that’s a boomer thing.

Well you’d still be viewing her as a possibly viable sexual pursuit, or you’re appreciating her almost entirely for the sexual attraction she inspires in you, so it extends past admiring. And honestly, I don’t really see a problem with that. If I walked by on the beach without my shirt and a woman thought I was super hot and liked my abs and didn’t care about my personality and had fantasies about me, I wouldn’t really care so long as she didn’t interfere with me in any way I didn’t like. But sh…

Admiring without lust isn’t sexualising — it’s admiring. And despite what your religion may spout, desire and moderate amounts of lust are a part of the human condition and perfectly normal. Also, thinking about having sex with someone isn’t a sin — trying to have sex with them without their consent is. There is nothing wrong with having a sex drive and appreciating people you find attractive (even in passing). It’s normal to have fantasies — both men and women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 02:34 AM

Sexualising and objectifying are essentially the same thing in this context. You can be in awe of Megan fox in transformers, desire badly to have a woman like that, and it can propel you into the world of sexual attraction— but still not want to rape her or be outright disrespectful to her

I mean, I don’t really think that is the case unless she’s had many partners (I do know several women who have not been cheated on and have basically been with only one or two men in their life). And any man who has had a lot of girlfriends has also likely to have been cheated on. I believe that women are just better at not getting caught and men are more likely to be caught. I also think a woman who believes she’s been cheated on will tell people he cheated and that’s why she left without actua…

Pockets of Europe are probably pretty different. Most girls on my social I was either friends with a long time ago from working at a restaurant or girls I’ve dated casually. Vanity is pretty big in all the places I’ve lived especially amongst young women. Tbf, on instagram it is mostly pics/vids on vacation and other ways people make their life seem cool, but on the more text heavy side of social media is where you see the pretty girl shit talk attitude like what OP was quoting.

If you don’t see anything like this, you’re either barely ever on social media or you’re lying. This attitude is deeply ingrained in western culture in 2025. Nice try.

I use my fingers too. Meh, based what I’ve personally experienced, I’ll agree to disagree with you on this. I still think having 5+ inches with some girth is important for the vast majority of straight women and no offence, but you’re talking about a demographic of women I’m not talking about, so that’s likely the cause of our disagreement
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 11:02 PM

Fair, but I don’t think it would be dumb if it benefits men and women and helps to address a growing issue in the western world that is clearly getting more and more prominent and potential more problematic — too many young men very unhappy and unfulfilled is a recipe for disaster. I don’t think public facilities is the answer. It would need to be something that truly incentives men. And free (or heavily subsidised) [insert here] would do the trick. Maybe.

Yea but I’m talking about straight women and you’re talking about gay/bisexual women. Idk I feel like I’ve been with enough to know. And I kinda like using my mouth and have done so pretty often with the majority of women I’ve been with so I feel like the pattern I’ve noticed is legitimate even if it’s anecdotal. Some women don’t even want to be eaten out, kinda weird
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 10:44 PM

Interesting if true. Still, my latter point stands. Almost every girl I’ve been with prefers finishing through penetration. I wish it wasn’t like that because it would be easier to just make a girl finish with your mouth then have sex after to take the pressure out of it sometimes lol

While it is true that men and women are very very different, I feel like there is enough evidence that size is relatively important. I mean, think about dildo size. And as you’re looking at it from a lesbian or bisexual viewpoint, your view may not reflect the majority of women’s view on the matter. It’s probably easier to make a girl finish with your tongue than a penis either way, but most women I’ve been with heavily prefer finishing through penetration. It’s pretty difficult to make a girl c…

Maybe. I think there are dozens, if not hundreds, of worse ways the government spends tax payer dollars. Also, note that it could apply to things like the gym and probably some other health adjacent areas — so it would simultaneously create a healthier society. And it wouldn’t just benefit men. You know who hates that there are more unattractive men than women? Women. I’d argue that women may actually derive more benefit from the funding than the actual men themselves do because it would create …

A good analogy. However, it’s still probably a good indicator that many women do care to a degree. I think when men swoon over Alexandra daddario or Sydney Sweeney, it does indicate that many many men appreciate larger breasts. The difference is that men just kind of admit its an asset and openly admit that they prefer larger over smaller (even though there is a minority that do truly prefer smaller boobs), whereas generally most women will kind of say “it doesn’t matter at all”. IMO I think it …

Do you think the first point is problematic? I think the second one is all fluff without something tangible to actually help men (funding). Both work together in actually encouraging men to put as much effort as women put into their appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:03 PM

I unironically believe there is reasonable solution to this. I think it’s possible to help level the playing field by helping men increase their attractiveness. I think it would take a double edged approach: ——— 1. Government funding that men could apply for on things that increase attractiveness (hair transplants, certain cosmetic procedures, possibly even for things like gym memberships. If these kinds of things became more affordable I believe it would incentivise men to actually pursue them …

Okay so how can I — just a normal somewhat attractive, pretty fit male — have had so much raw physical animalistic sex with so many women purely for our own satisfaction? Am I some rare exception? No, women just like fucking too. Who do they like fucking? Men in or slightly above their own league. The more I settled and banged an overweight chick or something, the more aroused the girl was by the experience and into it.

You’re delusional and either asexual or closeted or just more attracted to women. I’ve slept with dozens of women purely for sex — with both of us going into it as a hookup and nothing more. This isn’t even close to the point I’m making and I’m not talking about myself. The point I’m making is that people act differently towards different people based on different things. One of those things being — who has the leverage in the relationship. In dating, the person with higher SMV will typically have the leverage. Women do this too. I didn’t assume that. In fact, point 1 essentially basically alludes to the opposite — the more out of your league a person your fucking is, the more likely they’re just using you for the moment and still on tinder and fucking who they want and doing what they want. But that’s not just really attractive guys — it’s everyone. Let’s say a guy, a 5/10, might treat a 4 like a last ditch booty call who he wouldn’t even take on a dinner date and a 6 like a queen. Partly. It’s that their own perceived sexual market value has been inflated (because of social media and tinder and other things) and their expectations have also been inflated. They say they just want a good guy, but what they mean is they want an exceptional guy or a man who is significantly higher in SMV and he’s totally devoted to her. Exactly, it’s usually this (which is my point 1). And it can even happen to men too, if a man is dating a woman better looking than him, he typically will get worse treatment from her than if he dates someone around his same level or lower. This is just how it goes. Only major difference is men intuitively know this and understand the trade off. Whereas Women honestly dont understand what’s going on.

Is casual sex revolting when women have it? The manosphere isn’t necessarily sexist — some proponents of it are. Similar to feminism. Posted this in a comment thread that would stem too far down for anyone to read but the point deserves some light, because it’s the fundamental flaw with this arrangement, and just hasn’t been articulated correctly. This theory/way of thinking is almost entirely the same as a lonely man who visits the same prostitute regularly and deludes himself into thinking it’s a deep and meaningful relationship. The only difference is that you’re exchanging sex (and a tiny bit of companionship) for sex (and…

You’ve completely ignored the part where I said serial monogamy and ENM LTR can be fulfilling and it is different and doesn’t fall in line with “heteronormative bias”. But you’re advocating for something else entirely. Your argument is almost entirely the same as a lonely man who visits a prostitute regularly and deludes himself into thinking it’s a deep and meaningful relationship. Low-attachment FWB will not = rich, fulfilling, and deeply meaningful relationship. I meet up to play tennis with some of my partner’s friends every week. We aren’t that close, but we enjoy the tennis we play with each other and are respectful and honest to one another. We do not have a deep/meaningful connection or relationship with each other, we just like playing tennis together and find it convenient as we kind of know each other and don’t want to find different people to play with. This is …

Hmm good take. Noted. I shouldn’t have gone at her like that. To answer the question: The post had a vibe of “men are so shit (stress-inducing/unmanageable) , I only want them to satisfy my sexual urges then piss off and not be attached to them.” She argued it well, but the essence of it was still anti-man, just in a carefully articulated way. At least, that was my perception of it.

I don’t care about snark, I got some thick skin and hot takes too. If I post something people may perceive to be anti-women — as this is kinda anti-man/“I don’t need no man” — I expect criticism and I open the door for presumptions to be made about me. For what it’s worth I redacted the accusation in my reply to her comment. But, for fun I’ll ask you this, if a man posted this exact type of thing in reverse, how many women do you think would comment: “wHy dONt yU JuS dAtE meN thEn” or “do men ev…

IMO your whole position is, at the very least, extremely naive, and at the most cringey, arising from a teen trying to be edgy. And You’re incorrect — I think you can engage in serial monogamy to a degree without it being hollow and you can even have an ENM LTR if that one person is your core person or you’re emotion…

Ohhh you were already in a LTR with him? To be fair, this strategy is much better for either only the very beginning of a relationship, or for casual dating or FWB type situation that you anticipate will last only 2-6 months. If you start doing this like months into a LTR, you’re just a weird idiot trying to act cool (and I assume that’s what you perceived him as such). Beards… come… from… stubble… as in, you cannot have a beard, unless you have stubble first… and they both (being that they are the same thing — facial hair) are a product of DHT. The thing that leads to dominant and mature men. Big butts may signal powerful legs, so that still has evolutionary backing, and whether your teeth are crooked or straight, it doesn’t bring about an evolutionary advantage. I’d assume most of our ancestors had crooked teeth. However white vs yellow/black/decaying teeth m…

The millions of men who watch RP content, comment, share their experiences online, guys in real life who say the same shit without even knowing or having ever been exposed to what the RP is. Those men. Sexual strategy isn’t a yes/no or flat/round question though. There are exceptions and nuances. If you google “what causes facial hair in men” this is the first thing google comes up with: “Men get facial hair due to androgen hormones, specifically dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is a derivative of testosterone. This hormonal stimulation causes hair follicles on the face to grow thicker and darker hair after puberty. The evolutionary purpose of beards is thought to be linked to sexual selection, where beards may signal dominance, maturity, and attractiveness to potential mates, and they m…

Extra fat in the hips and breast region on women is attractive likely because it’s associated with fertility and a successful birth (at least from an EP theory — which is likely the best explanation, but cannot be confirmed). However, a small waist is also considered attractive — it’s the golden hip to waist ratio that men find attractive and that has scientific research to support it. There were periods of history (in which food was scarce and starvation was rampant) where fat women were deemed…

Ah okay, so two things that could’ve went wrong there (and maybe even a bit of a mix of both):- He was of too low of a baseline SMV to be using that kind of tactic and/or he was punching way too far above his weight; OR He was not doing it properly. I think you may be underestimating a young male’s drive to get laid casually and potentially secure a long term partner much more attractive than his options in the west. Additionally, geomaxxing has benefits that extend beyond dating. A 70K USD salary in SEA allows you to live in a tropical paradise like a king. I don’t subscribe to the 20% stat. But regardless, I think I can help bridge the misunderstanding here. As certain things become more and more mainstream, it could eventually (if it isn’t already) affect the pool of men you’re interested in. Probably not with sex robots (at least in the near future) or porn; but if geomaxxing and larger age gaps continues to become more socially acceptable — even desirable men will dabble in it. Very few successful men I know have equally successful wives in a professional/financial sense. Are they target workers? I agree with that, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t complicated. Asking when you shouldn’t have to can absolutely kill a vibe or at the very least make you seem a bit incompetent and socially inept. ~90% of consent is body language so it can be complicated for some. It’s pretty easy for me personally, but I imagine as a shy and awkward insecure guy it would probably feel a bit different.

You can absolutely enjoy the company of a person with different interests and hobbies than you. Honestly, most relationships Ive observed have exceptionally few shared hobbies. Having good conversation/sex, similar humour, and great chemistry aren’t shared interests — that’s compatibility. And that matters more than liking the same thing(s).

First of all, finding a mate and having a family is probably the most significant and rewarding thing a human being can do — so sex and dating is an essential part of life for 99% of people. But I agree that we should be considering other aspects of life as well, and I still think women hold more advantages than men do in 2025 for most aspects. The only aspect I genuinely think favours a boy, is that he would be less likely to experience sexual harassment/SA.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 02:47 AM

I view being the ‘bad boy’ as more of being extremely self-interested and having a lack of empathy/care for the women you’re seeing, but doing so in a really relaxed, callous, but also kinda charming or cool manner. Like when a girl you’ve been hooking up with for months asks if this is going anywhere, just being bluntly honest and genuinely not really caring about whether or not you’ll see her again. Mate, as a male, if you use the same tactics that feminists/women often use, you just look like a whiny crybaby. Complaining with overdramatic/sensational language only works well for women. Just like a woman can weaponise tears (and this is socially acceptable, but isn’t for men) to get what they want, they can weaponise language (and this is socially acceptable, but isn’t for men) and get away with it. It’s not about honour, really. It’s about pride. Even if crying in public allowed you win an…

Fair, and this teacher may have been a misandrist. But the post was talking about female teachers in a general sense, not your specific biology teacher. Many female teachers naturally favour girls, but this is because a young girl may remind that teacher of herself at that age (or something along these lines), not because she hates the male students. I’m just against being overdramatic with the words misogyny and misandry when it’s more often just sexism. It’s language used to further divide us.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 03:22 AM
-1

The definitions for misandry and misogyny were changed in 2002 to include “or prejudice”, but the general connotation and original meaning is that it comes from a strong disliking/distain of the other sex. A argument that goes “But the feminists started doing it…” doesn’t sway me. You should hold yourself above the standards/argumentative strategies of feminists or you’re just doing the same shit they’re doing. We should aim to be better.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 03:14 AM

I wouldn’t say it’s misandry, it’s more like generic sexism, but your points aren’t wrong. Still, jumping to “misandry” or “misogyny” should not be the default when discussing these issues. Both women and men do it in this space and it’s rarely due to some deep hatred of the other sex. I don’t even see the word sexism anymore, just misandry/misogyny. Kinda messed up.

Kinda a strange proposition, but one I’ve never even thought about before, and somehow, I can’t see any flaw with it. State-subsidised cosmetic surgery is unironically a good idea. Benefits men by improving appearance for dating and benefits women by giving them better options. I honestly don’t see a problem with this solution. I doubt a lot of guys would want to take that measure though — cosmetic surgery is still kinda taboo.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 01:03 PM
2

I feel like 4-6 is a pretty reasonable number, but it’s not feast or famine which is what the post was about. To keep up with the analogy, I’d describe it as having a normal appetite and access to enough food to sustain a healthy weight. If you just want to sleep with many girls, 4-6 girls a year is 40-60 by the time you’re 28, and 80-120 by the time you’re 38. That’s plenty of women, I don’t know many guys who would say that’s too low of a number.

I’m not so sure disliking is an active state. Back to the analogy, you may ignore the popcorn expressing ‘disinterest’ in it because you tried it and you ‘dislike’ its flavour. You don’t need to be actively eating it to dislike it. Or to elaborate, you express disinterest in kale even though you’ve never tried it because you predict that you will dislike the taste. You may be disinterested in joining a book club because you think you will be bored and dislike it. These concepts seem interconnect…

Nah, in the stretches I’ve been single through my life (after maybe 18), I’ve probably averaged sleeping with a girl like every 2 or 3 months. So if I was single for a year, maybe like 4-6 girls/year. I’m not crazy attractive but I’m probably not below average either. I would still reject some women and wouldn’t sleep with a girl I found too unattractive. It wasn’t a feast nor was it a famine.

No, it’s not hypocritical. It would only hypocritical if he got mad at women for excluding him for the same reason. But if a woman said “sorry, you’ve slept with too many women for my liking” and he said “okay cool” then it’s not hypocritical.

Women entering into the workforce = increased productivity. Women having their own income = increased consumerism. Women account for 85% shopping. Both of those combined = massive increase in profits. More nefariously, as women enter into the workforce, employers can get away with paying employees less. I agree it isn’t comparable. But to be a bit more realistic, I would argue it’s okay for a guy who has slept with 100 women to not want to be with a woman who has slept with 100 men — and that isn’t hypocritical, it’s a preference he’s allowed to have.

You don’t really find that anymore and that’s one of the points of my post. Masculine traits = bad in 2025 media unless it’s a female character is doing it. I like the show Wednesday and I like her character. But even from the macro-view and not looking at that one-liner my point stands: Wednesday is written with traditionally masculine traits (courageous, confrontational, emotionally indifferent, cold and calculating, powerful) or gender neutral traits (intelligent, cunning). That’s how most of…

I think OP is mostly just venting, and that’s okay. It can be difficult to come to terms with the fact that an average woman is genuinely desired by literally billions of men, but an average man is genuinely desired by orders of magnitude less women. You’re right to question him though, He’s still incorrect, it’s definitely not merely feast of famine. I wouldn’t say I was insanely desirable 10/10 when I was single, but still went on plenty of dates and have had multiple steady relationships with…

Kind of, but if you’re average or even slightly above average you’re desired by a decent amount of women, but I wouldn’t really say “many” or call it a feast. Also, the quality of women you attract matters. If you’re genuinely desired by a bunch of undesirable women I wouldn’t describe it as feasting.

Honestly, great point. If someone reasonably asked me what were the downsides of RP, my own philosophical beliefs, my life decisions, or anything else I believe is good/correct/right — I’d be able to have an honest conversation about the downsides or what I may not be considering. With feminism, it’s more cult-like or religious (like you pointed out). Even PPD is too biased to have this kind of conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 03:50 AM

I’ve noticed this too. PPD moderators give that warning comment if you very indirectly call out a feminist/blue pill person on something. Yet, the person on this comment, directly insults you by calling you a chicken and there is no response.

True story: in Thailand, girl I matched with, 6 months pregnant, asked if she could come over to my hotel and suck my dick. She said she was horny and bored. It was right after COVID restrictions lifted. That was the entire date. After, she left and we basically never messaged again. No money exchanged. That was the moment I knew it was about attraction. But it’s just an example, so don’t latch onto it. Every woman I met, I told I was leaving in 3-4 weeks. The most I paid for was a few drinks (w…

You posted on my post, ignoring my actual question and the topic at hand to side-rail the discussion into details about a character — no one’s gaslighting you mate. It doesn’t matter what character said it, what matters is: could you plausibly see a male character saying the same thing about a female character while the scene is portraying him as this strong cool liberated badass? Absolutely fucking not. That’s a question you’ve been avoiding, and you’re ignoring the overarching topic. I’m not a…

For people who watched the show five year ago, and think of Phil do they think: Masculine, successful, businessman provider (even though technically this is true). They probably forgot his career. Or Goofy, incompetent, lovable guy but bumbling idiot that would be lost without his wife’s direction. It’s the latter because that’s how the show portrays him. Accolades mean nothing for how we evaluate a character — we base our perception about them in their actions on the screen.

C) the message in them isn’t be powerful, be attractive, be masculine. It’s: abide to contemporary mortality. Stop being obtuse and purposefully missing my point.

Disney where the morally sound man gets the princess. Good for you, but blue pill generally states personality matters most.. not physical appearance, wealth, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:36 AM

I don’t think it is assumed. Even if it was people (men and women, but women more so) aren’t honest about what they’re actually attracted to. Women say they like the “dad bod” and “it’s okay if you’re bald just shave it and own it” and “I don’t care as long as you’re taller than me”. /r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:32 AM

Blue pill is the ideology that “personality is what matters” When it comes to dating, it’s not. When I was single and in insane shape, I was objectively a pretty shit person and it was objectively a time where I got a lot of attention from women and was successful whether I was kind or kind of a dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:18 AM

Where do you think charisma, confidence, and charm come from 99% of the time? Being attractive from a young age, positive feedback when flirting, and experience with women. Your friends and their bfs are very likely close to being looks-matched or have a similar overall SMV. You’re very likely biased. When I look outside, I usually see couples that are compatible in appearance or SMV.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:14 AM

I was red-pill before it was a thing, I was never fooled by that shit. I knew what to focus on. But the blue pill message doesn’t include: Masculine frame, wealth, status, height, facial symmetry, muscles, social circle, what parts of personality actually matter in attracting women. Blue pill is Disney… it’s a fairytale, mate.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:05 AM

That’s what the blue pill is though. “Just be yourself” “just be confident” “you’ll find the right person, just be nice” “personality is what matters” This is literally what blue pill is.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 10:57 AM

Good, much closer. And actually — good points, those things definitely played a role too. Now you’re thinking critically! But do you not think nearly doubling the workforce played a massive role? If the majority of entire families were relying on single income, a median single income HAD to be relatively higher. When two people are expected to be working, companies can justify not having to give employees a wage that can support a family. Also, give women more pocket money and what happens, cons…

To be the sole earner and comfortably (without a crazy amount of debt) raise a family where I live you probably need to make ~200,000. Average income for full time workers is ~80,000. It’s not merely hard — it’s basically only a reality for about ~5% of top earners. First wave feminism was a net positive to society — and that’s what gave you all your substantive rights and freedoms today. The push to enter into the workforce, however, backfired when capitalism used it to justify paying employees…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 09:25 AM

Correct-ish. The problem is that capitalism exploited feminism to increase productivity, consumerism, and profits; and it has subsequently had a profoundly negative impact on average (and even well-above average) earners and people who want to have a traditional family setup (which includes both men and women).
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 09:05 AM

You could choose that in the 60s — some women worked back then, especially if they were single. You could also choose if you want to be a housewife or a worker, because employers used to pay an employee based on the fact that a single income per household was the arrangement in society — so an average family could survive on a single income. Now, I’d argue there is less choice for the majority of women. Now women have to work in like 75% of situations. That sounds like less choice to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 08:17 AM

Women in the 50s and 60s chose who they married — and therefore had autonomy in choosing a happy situation/life. They also got divorced if they wanted to. My grandmother got divorced in the 1960s. Women weren’t forced to marry an abusive asshole.

If household chores are 3 hours maximum per week at 50%. Then household chores are 6 hours maximum per week at 100%. You work 40 hours per week + 3 hours of housework = 43 hours per week. A housewife (based on your own estimation) has 6 hours of housework per week. Who has more freedom?

No it doesn’t. This is such an oversimplification. The vast majority of men that have poor hygiene etc. are already too ugly to attract women and they’ve just given up. The vast majority of the world is getting more and more progressive. But evolution isn’t necessarily about nature, it’s about adaptation for survival/reproduction. As we’ve transitioned into a society with law and social norms and tinder and feminism, we must evolve and adapt to that — even if it goes against “nature”. That means men cannot force themselves on women and women get to choose who they mate with. It’s still survival of the fittest — it’s just that our definition of who is the fittest has changed and women hold the power now.

Our primary ingrained instinct beyond survival is reproduction. You should centre your life around your own interests, drives, and goals — but, as a species, passing down our genes is our most essential driving force, which requires being able to secure a partner. Wanting to improve so that you can find a mate, have children, build a life together is pretty reasonable.

For your first point, Are you advocating for men to leave their wives at a certain age? I’m not really sure what point you’re trying to make here. Also, for your counter, if the money was mostly gone, but she was too old and unattractive to secure another man, wouldn’t get much in a divorce settlement, and had grown fond of her husband for other reasons over decades, she might stay. So, to answer your question, even if money was the main reason she got with him initially, she may stay with him w…

To answer your question: Appearance and youth are the MAIN things men look for initially in a woman. BUT what you’re forgetting is that we also fall in love and appreciate the other things a woman can offer like raising a family together, support in the ways she can, and being a kind and sweet person. Besides, if you’ve been married for 15+ years, most men don’t have the right combination of resources (post divorce settlement, child support etc.) and looks and modern dating knowledge anymore to …

See. This is what women say they want. Personality even if it’s a janitor on minimum wage. That’s what I’m talking about. But in reality, I doubt you’d even date a below average looking man on minimum wage.

Some entitled bimbo probably said it on a podcast once — that doesn’t mean it’s the majority of women. I’ll spell it out for you: Most women say they want a good/nice man, but what they really want is an attractive man who can provide. It’s that simple. That’s how they’re not being upfront about what they want and what attracts them. Does that make sense? I don’t care about a rule bimbos say and incels whine about or whatever you’re trying to claim. I care about what’s true. And if you want the …

/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 10:56 AM

The argument there is that women SAY they want personality but then go for the 666 guy. I don’t fully agree. I think women say they want personality, but what’s gotten me women is having a fit body, decent face and a reasonable income/access to resources. Being charming and confident is important too so that part of personality does matter, but being a nice/thoughtful simp is what some women promote and it doesn’t work.

The men who whine about expectations are usually losers — I agree with that. True RP men are just as critical towards men as women. If you aren’t getting women, get off reddit and do something productive about it. Getting women isn’t even particularly difficult if you know what you’re doing so I agree that the 666 rule is very untrue for like 95% of women. However, men in general are more upfront about wanting attractive and young women. Women are more likely to virtue signal and say it’s almost…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 10:34 AM

People tell women to marry young so that women capitalise on their youth and beauty and secure the best option while their value is the highest. Your argument isn’t really contradicting what I’m saying. Also, I don’t think you understand what virtue signalling is. A man can love his wife and not want to leave her but still admit that 20 year old women are the most attractive. You’re either really misunderstanding what I’m saying or really bad at arguing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 10:21 AM
1

Men saying they will fuck anything has nothing to do with what they value, they’d still prefer to fuck more attractive women (and they wouldn’t deny that) but will settle for unattractive if lonely/horny. And many claim it’s the most important factor or basically the only really significant one. Sure, some women are honest about money/looks being essential, but most of the time it’s extremely downplayed — you really don’t see my point here?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 08:10 AM

What men deny that beauty and youth are super important? Exceedingly few men will try to virtue signal and say it’s all about a girls personality. But many (arguably most) women claim that personality is basically everything or certainly the most important thing by a wide margin.

Because many men are undesirable losers that have a hard time accepting that women don’t like them. Then they crowd spaces like reddit and give RP a bad look. Real RP men understand female nature and accept it. Men aren’t evil or shallow for prioritising youth and beauty and women aren’t evil or shallow for prioritising resources. Human nature is inherently self-interested and driven by the instinctual drive to survive and reproduce and take the best steps in securing those goals. Again, the dif…

The term ‘the prize’ is lame, no doubt. But the issue is that it’s being used differently by men like OP and women — but there is truth to both sides. When women say they’re ‘the prize’ it’s about them being more desirable. And If they’re conveniently attractive, it’s true. Men will see them as a ‘prize/trophy wife’ and women may view themselves as such. When men say they’re ’the prize’ it’s about the overall net value a high quality man can bring to the table and the relative rareness. Not just…

No, he meant volunteering will not give you status among men or women, unless the volunteer work is worthy of status. Volunteering to give a speech at a major charity fundraiser could improve status, but scooping bowls of soup for the hungry (as admirable as it may be) doesn’t. It may get you brownie points for any women that take notice, but that’s it. And men are transactional — just like women are. Being transactional is the one thing I’m sure isn’t gendered. I don’t know about that. Those elderly women lived through WW2 and probably had more interesting/meaningful lives than many people have today. In what way do you think your life is more exciting? What highs do you experience that those women didn’t? I’d argue life and the workplace is actually duller today — less impactful, less meaningful, yet simultaneously more stressful. Many women (usually single women) worked part time as nurses or teachers or helped assist their husband in those days, so …

Good, I wish you only happy days for you. For the last bit, maybe you only assume that because you were told to assume that. More opportunities can also lead to more responsibilities, more expectations, more stress, more pressure, more challenges, more accountability, and less happiness. Most elderly women I’ve had conversations with, seem relaxed, claim they are happy, and say they are fulfilled with their life — even if they were a stay-at-home housewife that raised a family.

Are times more overwhelming now? What do you think is causing this rise in depression? Do men not cheat or have bad addictions today? Does an average salary actually provide women financial freedom and a good quality of life in today’s economy? Do you like your job? Maybe you do, but do you think most women enjoy their work? The big one you ignored: do you think women (not you or your family) are happier today than in the 1960s?

I’m just asking questions that make people think a little bit more critically. If it’s hard to answer or it gives you an answer you didn’t like, it could potentially give you a more well-rounded perspective. Probably not, as this is reddit, but in general it’s a tactic that can help get to a logical conclusion or maybe even the truth of an idea. It’s known as the Socratic method
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 03:46 PM

Is it different today? While there isn’t as much social/religious pressure, Economic pressure essentially forces average earning men and women to pair up if they want a reasonable quality of life. Given that the divorce rate is pretty much on an upwards trend, I’d say women are still marrying men they don’t like. I doubt women are happier and there are surveys and stats that demonstrate that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 03:41 PM
3

I don’t have a hypothesis. I have a question— are women happier today than in the 60s? The 20s? Earlier? I’m not sure, but I think it’s possible. And if that’s true, then another important question must be asked: why?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 03:33 PM

Interesting. You think millennials are less materialistic? Care less about being better than their neighbours? Again, I feel like it’s the opposite. Millennials are obsessed with shopping/spending on non-essentials and proving how great their life is via social media posts. I think in general, we’re way more shallow and self-obsessed than boomers were. We’re not competing with our neighbours anymore, we’re competing with the entire internet.

Good, I’m happy for you. For my family, I’d say it’s the opposite. My grandma and her sisters were all very happy, my mother and that generation was less, and all my female cousins seem miserable. All of my girlfriends, though good people, have had depression or anxiety. There’s also a downward trend tracking back from the 70s of how women have rated their own wellbeing over the decades. I’m not really sure why, but I think it’s noteworthy.

Good point — words do change in meaning. When someone cuts off your grandfather in traffic, he might call them a f***t, but that doesn’t mean he’s actually making assumptions about their sexuality. Or in high school a group of popular girls might call another girl they don’t like a whre, but that doesn’t mean they believe that girl is literally selling her body for money. I agree with you. I believe it’s possible my field of work may be fully online in the next 5-10 years — and if so, I’m absolutely considering geomaxxing solely for financial reasons (as I have a long-term girlfriend atm). At the end of the day geomaxxing is about way more than increasing relative SMV — it’s about increasing overall quality of life. The manner in which it’s usually criticised is on the dating front though, so that’s why my post was tailored to that aspect of geomaxxing.

Absolutely it would! This is absolutely a form of geomaxxing that is rarely talked about and a great point that further distinguishes it from sex tourism. Well done, a critical thought. It’s about strategy, leveraging things to your advantage, and increasing relative SMV — not exploitation/paying for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 11:42 PM

I interpret sex tourism to mean paying for sex — going somewhere for cheap easy to find prostitution. Whereas geomaxxing is about increasing your SMV to the point where women to want to be with you/find you attractive. And going to a place where you have a rare phenotype, are usually much taller than the local men, have features like lighter hair/color eyes, broader shoulders etc. makes you stand out and more attractive in a relative way. I don’t think anyone cares either way about women doing that - I’ve never even thought about it. And I kinda doubt it is even that frequent of an occurrence, but I see your point. People wouldn’t look down on it the same way. I think you make some decent points, I’d caution you though, some of your message reads as a bit angry and bitter. Your essay is mostly projection and rambling. I do appreciate the effort, but I’d recommend trying to be a bit more concise and less judgemental. It’s possible that some geomaxxers dislike western women, but I imagine most are either exhausted of rejection or just want better options. Maybe try to view the issue with more empathy? Imagine that it’s so hard for you to find a decent guy, you’re considering moving to the other side of the world. Not everything needs to be a gender war issue.

I can see the downside to certain elements of sex tourism - but let’s go with the example you provided. Guys just going on a boys trip for a week, download tinder, capitalise on a brief spike in SMV and go on some fun dates with local women and it leads to consensual sex. What’s even the issue with that? Men and women have one night stands in the west all the time. If a single man in his 20s travels to Asia should he refrain from having sex with local women? Men perceived to be less attractive by western women inherently deserve less? Also, I don’t think it’s entirely about money. A rare phenotype is certain areas is just seen as desirable and attractive. Also, when you play a video game - it’s against other people and they don’t receive a benefit from you beating them at the game. I’d argue that most men that succeed with women in another country could be successful with some women in the states too — just not the quality of American women they’d want (overweight or unattractive). This response isn’t bad, but there are a couple issues I have with it. It seems like it’s more directed at sex tourism, not geomaxxing. I believe there is a pretty convincing argument that all relationships are transactional in one sense or another. I guess the question is what is being transacted.
