Being gay is not inherently more sexual than being straight. I’d imagine churches shame queer people just as much as straight people, so that doesn’t seem like a double standard.

If you want to understand what wage gapers believe and why you can go email some academics who study this stuff, or watch videos from economists who believe the wage gap. Just because you think their beliefs are illogical, doesn’t make them hypocritical.

But it’s not a double standard if you believe the wage gap is caused by systemic issues. You can that it’s ridiculous, but it’s what they believe, so this imagined hypocrisy in their advocacy is completely made up.

The people who talk about the gender pay gap do so because they believe it has solutions, whereas like you said, the death rate really doesn’t. It has nothing to do with empathy.

You say the gender pay gap is disproven, but it is literally true that women make significantly less than men on average. The reason it’s “disproven,” is because the disparity can be explained away with factors not related to direct discrimination, the most prominent one being choice of occupation. This can also be explained away for the exact same reason. I agree with pretty much everything you said about abuse, but I’m not sure who this is directed at. I’m a man who was sexually assaulted by a woman, and in my experience the people who diminish the experiences of male victims the most are reactionary types.
