Literally YouTube. I found a YouTuber named chef zee who cooks traditional Latin cuisine that I grew up with and once I started making her recipes I recognized the scents and flavors from my childhood and got hooked! I think try finding a YouTuber that posts recipe videos of cuisine you’re culturally connected to. It helps with motivation and feeling like you’re “adulting” like the adults you saw cooking while growing up! After about a month I felt super equipped and proud of myself. Everyone lo…

You’re too young to go to bars but in another response you said eluded to being too old to attract many hvm since most hvw get married young?

I always find that putting on some cute lingerie/sexy nightwear and just going up to snuggle against him disarms him. Also baking him an apple pie (when I have the whole day rather than a quick fix) or getting a bottle of his favorite drink/beer really helps to lighten the mood and let him know I’m ready to “stop fighting” and tend to him…it’s worked for the last 5 years at least lol Edit : I think it’s lovely and sweet that you’re wanting to do something to “make things better” and I think he w…

Exactly. I doubt he’s high value at all. He’s got you under a spell and you need to step back and really take a look at what’s going on here.

I second this. Flirt with the idea but do not go all in until you are officially married and with no pre-nup preferably! Always cover your bases..it’s good to have an education, some form of job skills, keep your appearance up to par, and have a healthy savings account no matter what.

You’re smart to be considering this scenario and good on you for working towards a degree because let’s face it life happens and we never know the future. I’m currently a stay at home and before becoming engaged I was a waitress/bartender at hooters and I made great money. Due to the pandemic if closed down and I have taken the time to go back to school and earn my bachelors degree. My plan is to become a teacher if we need me to go back to work at any point and marrying with no prenup (I alread…

I would do it but I’d give him mine. If he indeed does like you he will be excited to contact you! Good luck !

Never let him not work and make it clear you do not wish to live that kind of lifestyle. He can take it or leave it. It makes me laugh when men get mad at a woman’s standard/preference. She’s not forcing you sir. But please do get out of the way so she can see the man standing behind you! NEXT! Also, don’t laugh or encourage his househusband jokes so he doesn’t even think twice about getting comfortable with that idea. Shoot him a look of utter confusion and bewilderment when he does and always …

Thank you ! I’m going to look into some casseroles as I know they’re popular and “easy” but I just never grew up on them so I’m unfamiliar!

May I ask what are some of the meals you prep? I’d love to start but I don’t have many ideas on simple meals as everytime I cook it’s a big production for our family of 6 lol

We just had a baby 4 months ago so I’ve just been getting back into the kitchen for dinner which has gone well. Im also starting to make him breakfast and coffee since the baby and I are up a bit earlier than him now… lunch seems like something I’m not sure how to tackle because there’s usually no left overs from dinner as we have 3 other kids who eat a lot and if there is a tiny bit extra it’s not enough for him to eat for lunch. I think it’s wonderful and also frugal for a wife to pack her hus…

I honestly feel like you sound like a 10 already! It’s great you have career options and an education! It’s an important thing to have in your back pocket ! I say just keep learning and studying femininity and diving more into it but generally I feel you are headed in the right direction and already have lots going for you

Yea! So OP thinking she’s missed the boat is way off! You’ve got plenty of time to work on yourself and get out there girl!

I don’t think Shame and guilt will get you anywhere. Don’t burden yourself with that. You are not “too old at all!! In fact many men are not ready to offer the type of relationships that are worthwhile until they are almost 30 anyway!

To be honest a pretty face is very subjective as well as can be worked on so easily with the correct makeup. I bet you’re closer to a 10 than you realize.

Yes but if he turns out to be a psycho you also will have to deal with that for the rest of your child’s life and going into battle with an multi millionaire will not be fun! Please don’t tie yourself down to this man in anyway for at least another 6 months! His true colors have not shown yet

Reading that gave me anxiety with how rushed everything seems! I would say try to slow this down and test the waters a bit. If he is patient and able to go with your flow then keep doing that but if he keeps insisting or even turns demanding…then you gotta go. Set time boundaries such as 3 months before getting engaged, a year to get married, 2 years to have kids…see how he reacts to that.

You already did the hard part of breaking it off. Please don’t blow your efforts by going back to that. There is so much more to life…so many men who would treat you better and add to your life & happiness instead of drain it all away. He is not a quality man! Do yourself a favor and focus on leveling up mentally and physically. The best feeling will be when you realize you did not need him all along meanwhile he has to live with himself and how he mistreated you. Bottom line, you do not deserve…

I say wait until you know you’ve already “hooked him” with your personality…basically the sex will be the cherry on top to him at that point. Personally I wait until hes impressed me so much I’m craving sex from him myself lol. But that’s just part of the way I’m attracted to guys. I just am naturally not attracted to men unless they show me efforts, commitment, and seem to be dazzled by me.

Definitely part ways but not with no ill will. He told you straight up where you stand and I think you’re smart to just take that as a signal to stop having sex and move on. Part ways peacefully as he simply doesn’t have the same idea about the relationship you did. Also advice, if you want a relationship don’t have sex before knowing he wants the same thing because you may get hurt and feel used after. If you were just looking for a good time at first then I guess there was no way to avoid this…

You don’t necessarily find them, you just have to be firm in your standards and not date a man who doesn’t have the same traditional values as you. I think you just have to expect to not pay and that’s that. If a man asks to split on the first date then that’s your cue to Pay your half and graciously excuse yourself from his life after that…next.

I think this may be an unpopular opinion but I think splitting the bill on the first dates is a turn off, but splitting or the woman treating sometime down the line when you’re officially a well established couple is cute and kind. I don’t like the idea of a man starting off by asking the woman to pay. It’s just tacky and unromantic to me. But with my fiancé now (it’s been 5+ years) I have offered to pay or just surprised and treated him on several occasions… so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s just my thinking a…

I agree with your first statement “don’t asks a fish how to fish”. I feel like that perfectly sums up the fact that you should take relationship advice from men with a grain of salt! In my experience guys say they want something but in reality they get bored or turned off by those very things pretty quickly. As for the book, it means not to be too wordy in expressing your wanting a serious relationship. Focus in showing appreciation and joy when a man’s actions are showing that he respects and w…

Forgive yourself. You seem to have reflected and taken the time to acknowledge what lead you down that path and are ready for change. People are allowed to glow up and start anew. You have the right to look forward and not back anymore! Also, don’t feel Obligated to disclose your sexual past with anyone. They are your personal learning experiences.
