I completely agree that anyone who says women are the "gatekeepers" of sex are morons (at best). I plan on making a big post explaining why this trope is dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 12:55 AM

Sure, there are idiots who act that way. But they're just embarrassing morons who don't represent men at all, they just make us look bad and make everything difficult for everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 04:37 PM

men have standards, actually
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 03:35 PM

Most men develop an emotional connection from the sex, thinking that they won't, and so yes, they will be disappointed. Also, the fact that you think sex in relationships is something the woman "gives" the man in return for doing things says way more about you and your stupid views on relationships than it says about sex.

And that is how most men are. We mostly want to get a relationship out of sex, or we catch feelings for a woman after having sex with her casually. The narrative on this subreddit of men being only after sex is just a degrading lie.

Most people frustrated with the lack of sex in LTRs are women

I don't even understand the point you're trying to make

I agree that a lot of this bullshit rhetoric comes from men, and its especially frustrating as these idiots just degrade themselves and their fellow men this way. And it is true that men (on average) are more likely to pursue casual sex. But most men want serious relationships, and one study says that about 1/3 to half of men who engage in casual sex do so in the hope of an actual relationship.

Oh great, yet another "men are only after sex but women are virtuous and not carnally inclined" post on here.

Women are not the "gatekeepers of sex." Anyone who says that (and from my experience, it is mostly men who say it) is degrading men and elevating women to some status of superiority, and they're too stupid to even realize it.

The goal for most men is a committed relationship, actually. And msot women willingly engage in casual sex.

Oh great, another "men are horny pigs but women are virtuous angels" post from this person

It is also crazy how she assumes women don't want sex or have no carnal desires of their own, or can't be selfish/shallow. They absolutely are/can.

It is also bizarre how she assumes that women don't want sex and are just virtuous, asexual, angelic beings. It's honestly sickening

No, they don't. At least not the vast majority of men. If I said something as stupid as "women lie to men to get sex," you would find that retarded and offensive, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 03:48 PM

Exactly. It blows my mind how most men aren't offended by shit like this, and how some even promote it themselves. The vast majority of men would never lie or manipulate a woman into sex, just like the vast majority of men are not rapists.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 03:46 PM

It has been said by sexists and misandrists. It is literally as stupid as saying "all men are rapists" or "all women are sluts."

Anyone who says women aren't "visual" is an idiot who should never be taken seriously again.

And misandrist women are still attracted to and want to fuck hot men
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/26 04:56 PM

Sure, if they feel unattracted to them or there are other issues in the marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 08:11 PM

So women inherently do not like sex according to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 05:22 PM

It is also bizarre how people act like sexual intimacy/pleasure is not also a need for women. It literally is.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 04:18 PM

Because society still teaches that women are inherently virtuous, but men are inherently perverted. Its sickening.

false

Why is this subreddit so obsessed with the idea that men are sexually insatiable but women are virtuous and lust-free? Every god damn post on this subreddit is some variation of this BS trope.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 01:11 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
