Emotionless and cold is itself likely a mental health issue.

As someone that spent about 10 months in a long-term care mental health hospital in Canada, no it's not third-world in quality. In fact, it was pretty amazing all things considered. Although that said I would assume that if you aren't in the Golden Horseshoe or somewhere else very populaton dense, you're fucked. Only insofar as you're fucked if you need any other medical care for serious ailments, though.

Never said nobody takes it as an 'all violence against women' day, just said that - at least around here in Toronto - you'll generally have to go looking to find those people.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always seen it explained that it's remembered just for being a really bad shooting and as it being a marker of that sexism that really did exist for a long time. Very few GTLDs are actually controlled in a meaningful way. .mil .gov and .edu are, but are US…

As someone that lives well downtown in Toronto (Read: Near the most updated TTC crap) I can say I haven't seen the women-only signs anywhere around here for at least a year, so it seems reasonable if OP saw any left it's just a more forgotten route/area/whatever.

Remembrance day is really throughout the commonwealth; it was originally called Armistice day because it marks the anniversary of the end of WWI - that it was about WWI is why it's around the commonwealth.

They also had a talk by Lionel Tiger on men in the media. My first thought when seeing it was "I WANT THAT NAME". But yeah, this stuff has been going around campus a while, not a recent initiative.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
