What state? We're in Texas if that makes a difference. Little pin prick to the bottom of the foot, two tests taken

You obviously haven't had a baby recently. Every newborn is swabbed and their DNA checked and added to a database - source, just had a newborn and watched it happen

As someone who's worked on manager for a long time - you're absolutely right. You always want to give people chances, but you can also almost know if someone will actually work out our not almost immediately. The questions (at least for me) are either to gauge true knowledge and experiences, or to just waste time before I send them home (rude to just say 'f off you won't work'

Lol Are you seriously trying to claim that nobody has says that this sub is full of patriarchal comments? Because people absolutely say that. Now people here, including this post, try to claim it doesn't exist and that you all just want equality - so, if that's true, show it. Prove that this sub isn't filled with woman haters by showing a post highly voted that calls out sexist behavior.

When did I ever suggest it was? But great red herring.

The crazy thing is that the answer there was simple - remove the names and replace with a number that corresponds to the entrant - basically a double blind resume I honestly don't know if it would work, but it really seems like the obvious overlooked solution. But yeah, the truth is at the end of the day it really is hard to remove all the inherent biases BTW - I wanted to Thankyou for this actually great conversation today. It's kept me busy while waiting in the delivery room lol

How do you expect anyone up take you seriously after the hate you just spewed yourself? Yes the patriarchy is a real thing. It still does exist in places around the world. No it's not a conspiracy. The problem is that the definition many people think of when they hear 'patriarchy' is a very simplified 'all men' when really it's 'Patriarchy is a system of relationships, beliefs, and values embedded in political, social, and economic systems that structure gender inequality between men and women. …

Firstly that is a huge error in reasoning that the feminists you hate also use against you - reddit is NOT even close to a good view of a whole movement, let alone the internet in general. Never fall to the faulty idea that the vocal = majority. Secondly - /r/twoxchromosomes is a good one. It tries to keep things about actual equality and does call out misandry. Is it prefect? Nope. No place is. Thirdly - please show a men's sub that celebrates women. Lastly - this sub itself puts down woman all…

In essence yes. I believe that the end result should absolutely be based on actual merit. To allow that truthful equal test of merit we need equal outcomes leading up to it. IE each step leading up to the end step needs to ensure it is actually based on merit and not on the 'test(ers)' inherent biases

It does shine a light on the real problem, MRA is the real problem. All of MRA idea's stem from the faulty assumption of ''the MISOGINARY'. I have heard many descriptions of what this 'MISOGINARY' is supposed to be, none of them involved the actual definition of a MISOGINARY nor did any of these descriptions had anything other in common then 'WOMAN are bad'. Sides are always going to be a thing, but im not going amuse someone who's side only exists to shit on the other side. Then there really is…

That's an argument that I think depends on context and circumstances Personally I believe it's equality of opportunity (which does by definition sometimes mean outcome along the way) By this I mean that you need to create an equal playing field BUT the end result are based off merit. EG 1 - I despise lowering military/firefighter/nursing physical qualifications just so more woman can get positions, especially since those lowered expectations aren't given to men who would otherwise have been disq…

Exactly. Which is why trying to claim 'all feminists' doesn't do anything to shed light on the true problem and instead just adds fuel into the fire of hatred against another. To stop the 'my side vs your side' you instead need to look and acknowledge the similarities between the sides
/r/MensRights21/08/22 06:36 PM

They absolutely can. However this isn't a case of the meaning of the word changing, more so that people are using it as a cover for their sexist views. This is the exact same thing as misogynists claiming you be MRA, or MAGA trying to claim they are what the Republican party stands for, or pedos trying to use 'Catholic doctrine' as excuses for their crimes - in all cases they are groups subverting the true meaning of a group and twisting it for their own hatred.
/r/MensRights21/08/22 06:34 PM
-5

You realize that by trying to claim what a vocal majority might did your also committing a fallacy? Your argument equally applies to literally every single group - including men's rights. The point is that while feminism is meant to be about equality, many people have twisted it to become misogyny. The same can be said about Christianity and it's hate toward 'others' - many groups are twisted and changed over time.
/r/MensRights21/08/22 06:30 PM

Why do feminists believe that men need to be brought down a peg. They don't. Feminism isn't about bringing men down a peg, it's about pointing out issues that hold people back. And that's the issue - what most people now think is feminism isn't feminism, it's misandry. Feminism really is about equality, just like Christianity is - however both have been twisted and corrupted creating a world where the actual core tenements are no longer what is actively shown to the world.

I'm saying that you covering yourself is a personal choice. No body parts should be forced to be covered up - it's on you for looking, not them for showing
/r/MensRights15/04/22 10:32 PM

Why should they be covered? Because you can't control yourself? The bible luckily has a solution to that problem - if your eye sins, pluck it out. Not tell them to cover up.

Couple of questions - first where in the world are you? Obviously not America, and since that's obviously the case, then why would this be law that affects a country you're not in bother you? Secondly - can you truly not control your gaze? Or are you suggesting threat the mere act of having someone else's skin being shown takes ownership of your actions away from you?

I'm sorry but WTF??? Have you ever been to a nudist camp? A swingers club? Or better yet a gay sex club? If people can go to those locations, fully naked, and have the decency not to stare at others wobbly bits - EVEN WHEN SEXUAL ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED AND ENCOURAGED - then I don't think you have any reason to worry about a man being near a topless woman being accused of being a pedo or pervert. Really what you're really saying is 'I'm scared that I will be seen as a pedo or pervert as I won't be …

You really truly don't understand how Wikipedia has ever worked. It's never been a source of sited articles and has always been a place of personal opinions. As to a person's body - again no, you don't get to put your personal beliefs into others.
/r/MensRights22/03/22 03:18 PM

Wikipedia has always been a source of propaganda simply as literally anyone can edit anything. It's a place to go for the 'general picture' but not something that should ever be taken as factually correct And I'm sorry, but unless you actually believe that women should have their personal autonomy regulated and controlled, then yes this guy they speak about does deserve to be criticised. Men's rights are about equality, not controlling others.

Yes my issue was not that the she had casual encounters. Even I had them. But If I talk about them or the body count, I won't go much into detail about it with her, as it might spur some kind of insecurity or just make her feel awkward. It's not a matter of being with her or not, but the thought that why doesn't she realise describing it might make me uncomfortable. So these two right here day the true problem. Instead of seeing her as a unique being with her own ideas of what's acceptable or no…

And there you go, proving my point. When you're actually willing to discuss issues instead of being foolish, let me know. A great old saying 'he who must brag about their abilities lacks them'
/r/MensRights24/11/21 03:52 AM

No, you didn't question my intellect. You made a personal attack based upon incorrect spelling. You don't want to discuss or argue an actual issue, you just wish to stank the person talking. Sadly that says now about you and your position other then anything else

This is what is referred to as an ad-hominem fallacy. An ad-hominem fallacy is committed when, rather than talking about the actual argument being made, an opponent directly attacks the person making the argument. In Graham's Hierarchy of Disagreement, ad-hominem fallacies are the second-lowest form of argument (second only to blatant name-calling).

Your right. He did. And yes she's wrong with her criticism as she probably doesn't know who created the movie (I didn't until today) But what your doing is not educating, it's not bringing light to an issue, it's instead attacking someone for their point of view. Your basically doing exactly what she is - that's not bringing light or helping men's rights, it's just revenge hatred.
/r/MensRights21/11/21 05:25 PM
-10

Exactly right. It's literally doing the exact same thing she's doing - it's not raising men's rights issues, it's instead attacking someone who says something you disagree with - which is exactly what they do a well. So do you want to create change, or do you just want to revenge bitch? That's the real question.

Yes I've been to strip clubs. I've also worked security at such places. And no, that's NOT allowable behavior - no matter the location, no matter the situation, unless you've SPECIFICALLY given consent then it is sexually assault. Where they work means nothing. I should also add that it is NOT common behavior to grab you by your dick, and anyone doing that to you thinks that your worthless. The paper I linked to actually explained the sexual assaults, but I notice you didn't like that and said we were sticking to rapes and murders only to then try to bring it up again....interesting... As to murder you're correct - men are /convicted/ more. That's also for male on male murder. I thought we were discussing family in which case you need to take into account the numerous cases of mothers who are more likely to kill their children. As for rape is the exact same deal. You're looking at …

I'll tell you what - when you actually start linking to peer reviewed article as others have been, then maybe we can take your claims a little bit more seriously. While your at it, you might want to research what the definition of rape is, and that night enlighten you add to why it's basically impossible for a woman to legally rape a man. Until then it's clear that your not actually willing to look into things logically and instead just want to continue to attack others with opposing views.

You might want to actually do since real research instead of simply believing buzz words: Whereas early studies reported higher victimization rates for females and higher perpetration rates for males (e.g., [1]), subsequent national (e.g., [21, 22]) and international research (e.g., [7, 23]) reported similar rates of violence victimization for men and women, or even higher victimization rates among men (e.g., [24]). Other studies suggest that severe forms of violence are more likely to be perpet…

And again you prove that you're not understanding things. Your response is 'men are the cause' I've counted this by asking if you're ok with comments such as 'all women are evil' due to women being the number one killer of children The truth is that SOME men and SOME women are an issue. Police focus meds to be on the subgroup that the issue is mostly focused with. Anything else is a waste of time that achieves nothing. Oh I read it. You decided too place the blame squarely back onto all men instead of understanding that we're talking about a subset of men. Unless you'd also like to argue that all women should be monitored by CPS constantly as neonaticides are committed predominately by women.

Racial profiling is a bit different. Let's say that we have a /location/ that has a high crime rate. We don't know /who/ is doing the most crimes here, we just have the location. If we then stopped black people for being black then it's racial profiling. And even in my first example: even if we know that black people are more likely to commit crimes; of you then assume all black people are guilty and should be stopped your racial profiling as well. My point was more about where the police should…

You really aren't very good at understanding things are you? I was giving you a simple hypothetical analogy so you could better understand the argument being made. And even here you still have decided to focus on 'men' instead of where the crimes are actually occurring. Let's try this again: 90% of crimes are occurring at the bus station where 40 people catch the bus daily. 10% of crimes are occurring at the train station where 60 people catch the train daily. Where should our 5 hypothetical pol…

I think you're missing the point. Let's say that there are 100 men. Out of that 40 are black. So 40/60 black vs white. There are 5 police officers. A study shows that 90% of the crime is being committed by blacks with 10% being committed by whites. Now if you spread the police equally you'll have 1 officer for every 20 people. This leaves 2 officers to cover 90% of the crime, with 3 covering 10% of the crime. THIS is what the other guy was trying to point out - by saying 'all men' you are then f…

It's important to realize that /legally/ you are right. But legally isn't going to save you from the court of public opinion which sends you death threats, makes you loose your job, and brings you to the verge of suicide. This is why there's the fear - you can be legally in the right and still have your life destroyed while the other party gets off scott free

This right here. Anyone can give you tips on how to have a quick shag - pick up lines, tinder tips, etc etc. Heck, dress the part, have money, get the body - they'll all work to get the attention sure. But you want to have an actual long term partner? Be it long term dating, consistent amazing FWB, or possibly marriage (most people here might be against it, but to each their own) - then finding a similar interest and most importantly HAVING FUN is the answer. No No no lol Your all good bro - I was more suggesting that he (alpha) talk to the other guy (beta) as he might know what's going on; and if so then alls cool, no need to worry about hiding anything, and you can use that as a tool to gain other plates. From my experience poly chicks talk more then regular chicks, and if they find even one accepting dude then they'll all flock - and then you've instantly gained multi potential plates with zero effort.

I'm wandering if you do. Red pill teaches you to find YOUR alpha trait and understand that others have differing alpha skills. There's a reason why ugly rich men get what they want, or poor hippie dudes who play the guitar. Use your knowledge connections and skills to advance and gain more, don't ever cripple yourself by not using opportunities.

She hits me as being polyamorous. She's wanting to be with both of you for different reasons - you might be the alpha physically and sexually, but he might be the alpha when it comes to other issues (emotional support, intelligence, wealth, whatever) I wouldn't consider this a test - you've both been pretty clear. I would suggest something - find out if he other guy knows and what she finds attractive about him - you could then either work together to keep her as a plate, and use this to gain ot…

Been a while since I've needed to know the law, so I might be slightly off: Butt legally allowed to use 'reasonable force' to protect yourself 'in the instant' So if they have a knife, you can use a gun. If they have fists, you can not use a gun (reasonable force) And you can only strike as is needed 'in the instant' - so she gets in his face, he can slap her down - but he CAN'T continue to pummel her as the instant has ended. TrP is great for short term fucks, works everytime - but having a real relationship, mainly a daddy dom, changes need to be made - like the daily texts and calls (which I agree with you btw for normal relationships) And I already fuck her senseless - that isn't an issue lol But your right, ghosting/pulling back from her will definitely make her question things. She already knows I have other plates, but making her think she's not the bottom bitch / top queen might jolt her.

This is very true. Right now due to outside forces I'm very limited on where I can go out to meet people, but in a few months when that's no longer an issue I can change that. She has set the bar, that's for sure, but like you said; if you can get one you can get more

That's a good point. Frames on point with most everything else - but I did let this truck ruin my image with her. Yep, that's about it. I already know where the 'flaw' is - the truck I drive is a bit beaten up, so it clashes with how I look and act - I dress well, own a house - but if I'm working a basic job and have a shitty truck, it does confuse people - am I lying? Am I tricking/manipulating you? The fact we don't have much physical contact due to the distance definitely makes it worse - she's left to rely simply on what I say until she gets back (another month)

Hence why I'm asking advice - at times she's said she does - she wants me to be her daddy - then other times she turns around - 'i don't want my daddy and bf to be the same person' (she had a daddy who she was about to marry die in an oil rig)

I'd all the guy's over at r/auslaw about this. Although Australia does have some 'sexist' laws; most laws are written and implemented without regard for gender or race. Since this hasn't yet even been introduced to parliament, let alone gone through, I wouldn't be surprised if the end result is a 'non-gendered' law - basically stating 'anyone experiencing DV can break lease with proof'

The reassurance is more to do with the 'can't meet tonight' and the I'll, have fun with that' Instead a suggestion might be 'can't tonight, I've got X going on, but I'm free Y & Z' - this is the reassurance you still care and want to meet up, while not committing. Why two times Y & Z? The semblance of choice makes people think they are in control, when really both work for you.

Nah, even if he'd read the post he was wrong. Even if she shouted it into his face his wrong. Whoever throws the first punch, no matter what, is wrong. (This is why you'll sometimes see security guards whisper into people's ears, in front of witnesses and cameras, then 'taking a punch' before bringing the person down - then they get to sue them and get a nice pay day)

Even her Facebook post just says that she's going to disrupt the right wing movement. No. This right here is blatantly wrong and you need to be willing to see and accept that. She DID claim she was going to 'get scalps' What she DIDN'T do was following through with the words. But be careful of not giving the same reasoning and logic to both sides, those you agree with and those you don't - show both the exact same reasoning. She went to cause violence. Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet, but try offering two dates. 'hey, going out to the bar this week, Friday and Saturday, which night you joining me?' Human nature is to pick one of two choices. 'When offered too many 'when are you free?' People um and err. When offered a set date 'free tomorrow?' Their choice is yes or no - and humans find no to be the easiest option. But give a human two choices, either option being in your favor, then they have a habit of choosing one that you have given …

Just because you don't want to initiate a divorce does NOT mean you shouldn't prepare. I'd recommend going to the MRA subreddit and looking over their advice for men preparing for a divorce. Basically - record EVERYTHING you do around the house in regards to your kids, and what she does. The biggest problem with feminism isn't actually their problems, I mean in all seriousness there are issues that adversely effect women, but the real problem is who they blame. Rape isn't charged correctly. Ok. Feminism blames men. No, the real issue is you're local laws and maybe judicial officers. Wage is an issue. Sure. Feminism blames men for holding women back. Dosn;t matter the damage. You now suffer mental anguish. Get the security footage. Tell the police. Get a lawyer. Sue the bar. The biggest problem is that "rape" is defined in those surveys. In fact there are only TWO surveys that should be considered as "accurate" - one done by the government using actual rape reported statistics (anything else is conjecture) and the second a report that asked SPECIFICALLY what types of actions had been done IE - "have you been forcibly penetrated", "did someone touch your private parts over your clothes without permission" The first showed rape was around 8/100 women in America. I would say my knowledge would be the same as yours, only I am not drawing conclusions and saying she deserves a share. What I have consistently said is there is not enough information and provided a number of reasons why she might not deserve any.

This makes no sense. She received no compensation for lost income, so how could she owe him any of that compensation? Ok, say you earn $10 a year, your wife earns $100 a year. When you are divorced YOU can claim alimony from HER as she earned more, while she can not claim any from you as you earnt less. So since we don't know what her actual income was, then we honestly can't say she deserves any of it as it also means that if she had the potential to be earning more when they divorced that HE h…

That poster isn't really sexist - it's just displayed towards women so that they can see if they where in an abusive relationship or not. If they kept it gender neutral then some might not actually think. THIS IS A GOOD POSTER A lot of women do NOT believe they are in an abusive relationship UNTIL they see things like this - and yes, it works equally well for men. What questions? I wasn't ignoring any. And yes, when it comes down to equality and what the law is, you MUST take away the gender and race when looking at any case. Unless you believe that a women should be treated differently then a man? Because that is sexist.
/r/MensRights16/01/13 04:35 AM
1

Actually at NO point did I say "A women hit him, so he gets to hit her!" In fact I have pointed out you are to IGNORE the sex of the people involved and look at it as two PEOPLE involved. Person A hit person B first. That's what it comes down to. Change the sexes around and it would STILL be person A at fault. Gender means jack all.
/r/MensRights15/01/13 09:12 PM

But at the same time, by your own example, you DON'T know what she is capable of. All we have to base it on is the video, what happened, and what is defined as assault. What we DON'T know is what either one has done in the past, what each one is capable of etc. So instead of saying "I would back away" we clearly see that she DOES NOT do this. Instead she actually seams to be giving into his antagonizing ways and instead of immediately apologizing and trying to disfuse the situation, she instead …
/r/MensRights15/01/13 02:33 AM

That's because when it comes to the law and fights, it really is. Again - as horrible as the situation might be she chose to attack first. Yes he might have been threatening, but he HADN'T until after she attacked him made any actually threats towards her. Honestly I do think he was threatening, and yes he antagonized her, but again SHE chose how to react. She should have left or called the police. Attacking is NEVER the option. NEVER.
/r/MensRights15/01/13 02:29 AM

Exactly - get rid of the gender - person A hit person B, person B then hit person A. Who started it? Person A
/r/MensRights15/01/13 02:03 AM
17

Actually legally there isn't - a push is assaulting someone. A punch is assaulting someone. Same crime. Gender does NOT mean anything. A women is after all as equal as a man right? Who made the first strike is what counts. Gender in ANY violent situation, mainly if you do believe that both sexes deserve to be treated as equals, needs to be treated equally.
/r/MensRights15/01/13 02:01 AM

As someone who has worked in the security industry - It does NOT matter what was said, who escalated the situation or anything else. The ONLY thing that matters is who struck the first blow. Everything after that is fair game. It's actually very common for someone, a guy, a girl, a big person, a small person, to swear or threaten someone and antagonize them into throwing the first punch - because whoever lands a blow, no matter how hard or soft, is in the eyes of the law the person at fault. The…

I did look at the source, as well as the sources sources. And they ARE picking and choosing data and ignoring other studies done. Notice that a number of these reports are over 10 years old and definitions of rape has changed during that time. Now if the source said "historically we have had these numbers" then it would be closer to the truth, but they are using old out-dated data and claiming it represents today's world, and that's just bad data reporting.
/r/MensRights17/09/12 06:19 PM
5

Those numbers are VERY deceptive. Firstly you must define "rape" and considering that "kissing without consent" can in some places be considered rape that term itself can be VERY deceptive when used with statistics. If you go through where your source sources the info you can actually see that they have picked and chosen what year and who's articles to take the numbers from. Now this does not mean that it is not a horrid thing - just that those numbers can be deceptive.
/r/MensRights17/09/12 03:55 AM
10

I disagree - most people WOULD consider that rape. What they DON'T consider rape is being drunk, saying "yes i'll fuck you" and then the next morning claiming that because you where drunk it is rape. That's the difference.
