Post isnt entirely correct. You make 300€ with the army. They feed you 3 times a day and offer you a bed at the base. If you got an appartment, they compensate your rent.. with a maximum of 30% of what you earned in the past 12 months. You can only be compensated up to the total amount of rent. Not more. I was assigned to my worst nightmare. I had to work with drug addicts for 9 months. It wasnt just any institution. It was an institution that prides itself on being "unique". It houses, feeds and helps exclusively long term drug addicts that are also homeless. Oh I agree. Discussion is definitely driven by conflict. But not if the conflict arises from an emotional state of mind, instead of arguments and views being challenged against each other. Also - just cause theres "those" subs, we shouldnt just accept this as the norm and live by their radical standards. I think we have very different understandings of what is civil and what is not. Appearently also different ubderstandings of the purpose of being civil. Im not offended at all. I couldnt give less of a fuck about your tone personaly. I just think that its just a lot more hostile around here than I remember - which is something that in my mind inhibits discussion. See a lot of comments that are essentialy just "yea fuck that" get the most upvotes while posts with actual arguments and discussion dont get nearly as much attebtion.
