Can't agree, both my parents were teachers, school principals actually, both of them warned me off becoming a teacher, which is what I wanted to do, telling me it was becoming toxic for male teachers, with false allegations of inappropriateness etc... My father had to cover a phys-ed class of grade one students, a little girl fell and scraped her knee pretty bad and was balling her eyes out, dad picked her up and carried her to the nurses office, with an older student at his side, only to be acc…

thanks, Have my own house, some toys, friends not tied to her, a poker group I play with weekly, 3 cars (lol), a cat, and a great job with people I like and get along with who appreciate my hard work, and for the last two years have been voted president of the local chapter of an international service club I belong too, and lol, quite shockingly (to me at least) have been described as a pillar of my community, like holy crap lol!

I'm MGTOW, if I get that desperate, I'll pay a escort to leave when we're done... In my 46 years, I've only had one room mate, he was like a brother before we were roommates, after I left my abusive ex-wife and was homeless, I got a basement apartment the next town over, only to find my ex was still able to manipulate people and family into making my life hell, my best bud invited me out for vacation, I went and stayed with him and his 16yo so on their rented acreage for a couple weeks in anothe…

I'm 46, was married 12 years, divorced 6 now, would be what she describes as suffering from peter pan syndrome, haven't been this happy and content in over 20 years despite being homeless for 6 months after the separation and starting you again with nothing at 40.

I left my wife at 40 when her abuse finally turned physical, I'm 46 now, went from being homeless living in my dad's old work van I inherited when he passed away with a few of my personal effects, things she didn't get her hands on or want, for 6 months... I now have my own home again, a great job, a life outside of work, friends she can't manipulate as I moved far away, and happy again, happier than in the last 20 years....

the real life version of this is women bleating "incel" when you disagree with them or call their bullshit out, the "no women will sleep with you!" cries... Look dear, I was married 12 years, turns out she, like most women, aren't the prize they imagine themselves to be, understand dear, my celibacy is not only voluntary, it is self imposed because women (things?) like you exist...

not going to lie, after 12 years of hell, then leaving when her abuse turned physical, only to laughed at by LEO who actually threatened me with "causing a public disturbance" charges when I insisted it was my right to make a statement about her physical abuse the day after she beat me then called the police ON ME! I am seriously considering finding someone, a close friend, another man who sees and understands the world as I do, and living together with them rather than having a relationship wit…

I think most women have been taught/brainwashed into hating men, some just find ones that make them wet, and then try to use them for as long as possible, other they get with because they are easily manipulated.

Sexual play, boys with boys, is a normal part of exploration, I have personally done a great deal of research in the area being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of my best friend's older brother, trying to understand what happened and why, and if it was exploration or actually abuse (it WAS abuse)./ I agree with your point though, that is why I think one of the first insults thrown out by a female after she is rejected is "WHAT? They can (and are attempting) to shame some men into compliance, it's common, everything from the idea of "toxic masculinity" to the over use of the word "misogyny", what men need to do is refuse to feel ashamed about it, like I have.
/r/MensRights22/10/22 04:45 PM
2

Men who refused to get married were portrayed as gay to shame them into compliance with a society that expected them to support a woman, when being gay was seen as shameful. I've been called gay for rejecting the advances of a woman in a bar, because she was entitled to my affections and resources and the only possible reason I wasn't interested is because I wasn't interested in her feminine wilds.

MGTOW philosophy doesn't encourage or cause harm to women, it just doesn't benefit women, therefore is viewed as "misogynistic" due to men withholding their time and resources from women in favor of investing it in improving themselves, and that is not acceptable to today's society, therefore is portrayed as harming women.INCEL is INvoluntary CELibate men who are angry about not being able to have a relationship with women, and generally this manifests itself as hatred of women.MGTOW are happy a…

Default 50/50 has just come to mean that the man is equally "responsible" but rarely gets primary custody or decision making power, it just means he always has responsibility now no matter what, but the same biases against them still mean he loses out. The reality is, and not just in Canada (Disclaimer, I'm Canadian), anything that is not seen as directly beneficial to women must be misogynistic, because society has been surreptitiously conditioned to believe that everything must ultimately be beneficial to women.MGTOW doesn't harm women, it is a philosophy to help men, mostly those who have been harmed by societal attitudes and women in their lives, find a way to improve themselves, what women would often call "self care", find a way to be ha…

Oh, and I'm perfectly capable of "finding out" the answers, I just have no wish to invest the time and energy in doing so when asking that question will quickly tell me the answer, if she answers well, she's a logical rational adult that is worth my time and effort, if she's offended, she suffers from an exaggerated sense of entitlement and isn't worth my time. Absolutely double standards, your privilege blinds you too it..... No, no problems with my career, damn proud of it actually, it's just none of yours, or any other woman's business, you walk out because you realize it's a man you can't BS, manipulate or otherwise control. I'll answer your inquiry, when you answer mine, what do YOU bring to the table?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 11:55 PM

Still making excuses for double standards I see. While you're busy doing that, I'll keep asking "what do you bring to the table?", it does a great job of weeding out the women who don't match my personal preferences, and I'll continue to react like a woman being asked that question when a woman asks me what I do for a living or how much I earn... Agree to disagree....

So you asked every one of them the moment you met them for the first time, what they did for a living? or did you find out over time? Lets just admit facts. you say all you do about "what do you bring to the table" not because it's wrong, but because you don't like it, it is direct, no BSing around, and not many women like direct and no BS, they tend to like beating around the bush and mixed signals. You don't like it because you find it hard to give a good answer.

No it isn't, maybe for you it is, but I have a life, my job/career just gives me then means to live it. So "what do you bring to the table?" has exactly the same purpose, but the fact remains, pretty much every dating advice source for women tells women to try and gauge income, and therefore suitability, by asking what their job is. I'm not at all insecure about my career, I've been doing it for 25 years, I am very experienced at it, very good at it, and paid well for that, it's just none of you…

Like I said, "what do you do for a living?" when asked by a woman on a date, is more often than not an attempt to gauge your earning potential, you can't determine what a woman is thinking when they ask you personally, but by golly, look at any dating advice source for women, and it's there in black and what, the whole "don't want to date no scrubs!" mentality. /r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 12:13 AM

You seem to think this only applies to women, Why would I bother with a woman who didn't fit my personal preferences when there are plenty of other women out there? Men worth their salt are not seeking relationships with women to validate themselves as men, our validation as men is completely independent of relationship status or desires.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 11:58 PM
1

So you won't be offended if I ask you "what do you bring to the table?" at a party VS on a date? It's a pretty open ended question too, women just don't like it because it forces them to justify any investment or potential investment in them, and they feel entitled to that investment without question, whether that investment be time, money, effort or something else. You're attempting to change the goal posts to fit your argument LOL!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 11:47 PM
1

Do you not understand one of the only reasons women ask what you do for a living is to figure out roughly what you earn? It is the same question put a slightly different way, no different than "what do you bring to the table", you're just trying to justify it because it's usually the woman asking that question. I am not my job or career. I can totally understand why women would call me a rude jerk for exposing the double standard.

YOU are the one confusing the civil contract of MARRIAGE and the sacrament of "Holy Matrimony", marriage IS the civil act, Holy Matrimony is the religious act, that's why even church weddings need a marriage license and the church officials licensed by the civil authority to be recognized civilly.

Not only the things or skills present in a relationship...

Kind of like asking what you do for a living to get an idea of income, or just getting to the point and asking what a guy makes?

This assumes that all men are absolutely desperate to be validated as a man by being in a relationship, fact is, there are many men (and more and more daily) who are just as disinterested in being in any kind of relationship as the women you mention, who are not seeking validation as men from women, who don't need or care for validation from a woman. It's almost like you think all men are desperate to get the job cleaning the settling ponds at a sewage treatment plant and want to ace the intervi…

Aggressive in the same way as a woman asking a man what they do for a living to gauge their income, or straight out asking what they make?

You can't be feminist AND egalitarian, they are mutually exclusive. one is about true equality, the other is about power, control and dominance.

It does have the words "secret service", absolutely, but nothing connecting that to Canada. The OP isn't critiquing CSIS in Canada, he is critiquing the Secret Service of the United States of America. Canada and the US of A are separate countries, in case you didn't know.

Absolutely there is an element in MGTOW that hate women, It is however tiny, and no more than christian fundamentalists movements, fundamentalist Islam, or any other religion that views women as subservient to men, Even police as a whole likely have the same or more members that are "misogynistic", however none of those ideas, movements, or as MGTOW is, a philosophy, promote the idea that men to take care of themselves and improve on and in themselves before they expend that energy of women, MGT…

I'm a MGTOW Canadian man, my celebacy is very volutary and self imposed, and you are correct, I don't have too much respect for men that respect themselves so little that they are desperate for the attention of women to validate themselves as men! The "INCEL"concept is actually completely opposite the MGTOW philosophy! MGTOW are excusing themselves from relationships, INCELs are desperate for them!

No, the Secret Service is American, we have CSIS here, Canadian Security and Intelligence Service, also, they are conflating MGTOW and a radical element of those who identify as involuntary celibate, I assure you, as a MGTOW myself for many years now, my celibacy is very volutary! It is also interesting to note, that "INCEL" as a concept actually started in the 90's from a female University of Toronto student who was pissed she was not getting the attention of men she felt entitled too!

The reality is, and not just in Canada (Disclaimer, I'm Canadian), anything that is not seen as directly beneficial to women must be misogynistic, because society has been surreptitiously conditioned to believe that everything must ultimately be beneficial to women. MGTOW doesn't harm women, it is a philosophy to help men, mostly those who have been harmed by societal attitudes and women in their lives, find a way to improve themselves, what women would often call "self care", find a way to be h…

By avoiding relationships, MGTOW men like myself (I'm Canadian By the way) remove themselves as Resources and utilities to be exploited by women, and as women don't like that idea, it is of course misogynistic, a word that once used to mean "hatred of women", but now is commonly used as "Something, a concept or idea a woman or women don't like". Realistically, the cries of "Mysoggyknees!" are being driven by fear, fear that women will lose access to resources and men as utilities, meaning those …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
