1	Veganism Is NOT The Healthiest Diet I'm a senior molecular biology major and I'm 1/2 through my cancer biology course. I understand the mechanisms at work and I should assume you might know statistics; but I know DNA very well. I received radiation in my intestinal region for cancer before, I've had several major surgeries in the area, and I always find benign polyps from 2 colonoscopies and I'm only 21. 1	Veganism Is NOT The Healthiest Diet No doubts about that either. Activated heme in red meat is a well known carcinogen for your colon. Any time you eat meat that's charred you are definitely cultivating prostate cancer. I will eat red meat rarely and only if I think it's high quality especially since I'm at a pretty big risk for colon cancer anyways. 2	US News Article: "Women Are 'Genetically Programmed' to Cheat, Study Says" Your evolutionary argument seems off. Destroying competition by eating them would be an evolutionary success. However, eating your own species is a HUGE health risk. All the diseases that can affect a human can be transmitted by eating humans. Additionally, toxic by products from aging would be consumed too which isn't ideal. It's why you will never see monkeys being eaten.
