Very true, all movements fought against someone, but they fought against someone in the perceived stronger position. Unfortunately the narrative is women are the weaker, discriminated against sex, and men who stand up for their rights, as members of the stronger more dominant group, are somehow attacking women. Just like politics the issue is becoming too polarised. Both groups should be able to exist in harmony, but sadly if you're not part of my group you're the enemy is how it works in so man…

Is it in the employees contract that they must act as security guards? Would the building's management company pay their medical fees if they intervened and got their asses kicked? Would they pay legal costs if the attacker sued the employees? A lot of expectation on 3 dudes minding their own business with no support if it all goes south. They want everything and deliver nothing. Goes without saying that the attacker needs to face justice, but that's the responsibility of the system not a few gu…

True words man, you hit me right in the feels. Just shy of 50 here, and I have teenage children who live with me. My ex wife came from a family riddled with divorce, (her mother and sisters) while I had never been exposed to it growing up. Because divorce had been "normal" to her it was always an easy out, for me it was unthinkable. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how our divorce screwed up my kids. I can not imagine the emotions they went through, the scars it formed, nor how it will…

Man, a lot of us have been there and can relate. Your wife has been preparing herself for this emotionally for months, she believes all the lies she has been telling herself and is convinced she is doing the right thing. Now you get hit with the news and have to process it all in an instant and that's going to fry your brain. You have a million questions, but she has prepared all her answers so don't waste your time. You don't want to be making too many decisions until you've come to terms with …

I don’t know jack, but here goes. It’s been drilled into men that marriage, owning your home and having kids is the only “correct” path through life. If you’re 35 and single there must be something wrong with you, right? Society considers happy marriage the norm, there are no alternatives. If a guy is married and he’s not “feeling it” then he believes there is something wrong with him and works harder to improve himself (in a way that appeals to his wife) and keep his wife happy after all it’s a…

Unbelievable, utterly unbelievable that /r/femaledatingstrategy is celebrated by the media while similar forums for men are quarantined and shut down. Some good advice in there. Divorce is rough, but it’s not the end of the world. I’m not an inspirational quote kind of guy but two quotes kept be going during and after divorce: “Think of the life you have lived until now as over and, as a dead man, see what’s left as a bonus and live it according to Nature. Love the hand that fate deals you and play it as your own, for what could be more fitting?” – Marcus Aurelius The above quote kept me strong when I was feeling like all was lost. “Not my cir…

She could have got that shit done during the week but instead chooses to do it on the weekend to “prove” to her husband how hard she is working. It’s al theatre lads, designed to disguise the fact she spent all week out to lunch, yoga lessons and dance classes with the mothers club.
/r/MGTOW10/02/20 08:17 AM

Some additional information: during the marriage the husband traditionally hands his entire paycheck to his wife who then manages the family finances. She gives him a monthly allowance. Whenever a fast food restaurant increases prices, national newspapers will run articles on how this will affect average Taro if his wife refuses to raise his allowance. All the while, visit any upmarket restaurant in the city around lunch time on a weekday and witness the groups of wives and mothers (kids in scho…

Left, right, all echo chambers are bad in that they promote isolationism and increasingly extreme views. People argue that /r/mtgow is one such echo chamber which destroys the entirely harmless idea of men choosing to get on with their lives and pursue their interests without the distraction of a woman. I’m suggesting letting the knowledge out there quietly, outside of our own echo chamber. But if your deal is posting potentially inflammatory or insulting memes then do it here as you’re not cut …

Thanks for some good points. I don’t want to promote the idea of “invading” these subs. (That wouldn’t improve our image at all... we don’t want to be seen as a bunch of angry Karen’s) Employ some tact. Help a brother out where you can. Edit: Refrain from using “MYGOW” or “going your own way” when posting elsewhere. When a man is down, going through hell, just tell him to focus on himself for a while.... it won’t take long for him to discover the truth with a subtle guide.

No need to be preachy, pushy, offensive or confrontational, but some poor blokes on communities such as /r/divorce and /r/survivinginfidelity could sure use a dose perspective from a brother who has seen the light. I worked my way through those subs to here. In my darkest moments I probably would have ignored MGTOW advice but I would have recovered faster had I been exposed to the idea of being happy while going it alone.

If a mother is so skilled why doesn’t she go out and get a job as a psychologist, art director, teacher, CEO or any of the others listed? Oh I know, because nobody will hire her when her only qualification is “oh I do this at home all the time”, thus rendering the entire calculation bullshit. Can not agree more. Destroying kids lives. My kids have lived with me full time since my divorce and I've done everything within my power to minimize the impact. But the psychological damage they've endured, the affect on their identity, self esteem, notions of trust and their expectations from personal relationships etc. due to the divorce has been immense. They've been forced to grow up so fast. Divorce changed my kids forever. Its heart-wrenching.

If you’re considering divorce you’re 100% ready, you just don’t know it yet. The longer you fear making the break the longer your misery goes on. On the flip side if you go to counseling and the counselor is a woman there is a good chance that after a month she’ll have convinced your wife she can “deserves better” you and a divorce will come from her side. Do your research, consult a lawyer, protect your finances. Once everything is in order, and not before, make your move. Whatever you do, don’…

Too easy, if you speak the language. But for the fastest results you still have to play their game for a few hours. Most women on tinder here (maybe just in my age range) are looking for “romance” not hookups. They’re over the CC and are looking to settle. But all it takes is one date, some smooth talking and she’ll be convinced to sleep with you immediately lest you stray. It’s too easy. I assume it’s not a lot different for women in their 20’s. There is a lot of misinformation and preconceived ideas about Japan out there. Trying to figure out how to raise them in a properly balanced way, but I must admit I had not considered that as young women I should also teach them to not trust women as I would a son. Very true regarding an energy budget. As an older gentleman, I remember when solar energy was too poor to be considered an option. But with the advancements in solar technology along with general gains in the efficiency of appliances a little goes a lot further than it did in the past. I'm planning to add some 12V DC appliances to my emergency kit to skip the inverter as I understand that is where considerable energy losses occur.

During the last big quake gas disappeared almost as fast as food disappeared from the shelves. I'm not determined to use solar to maintain my current lifestyle in the event of a disaster, but I believe it's efficient and affordable enough to provide more than just a light in the dark.

The reason women cheat? lack of ethical standards? lack of commitment to relationships? lack of self responsibility? inability to communicate? greener pastures? heartless greed? How about: - personality disorders? - narcissism? - addiction? - past trauma? - you know, science ... No, no, no. It’s all the males fault he MADE her cheat. Women can do nothing unless a man makes them. Remember it’s ALWAYS the mans fault cause the woman never accepts responsibility for her actions.

Who cares, the article did a pretty poor job of dancing around the main theme that despite wanting to be equal marriage for women is all about having some poor chump pay their way ... but alas that will be lost on most people who read the article... Just finished it. A lot has changed since it was written, but the basics remain the same .. women are looking for an easy path through life with everything provided by a man. Any man will do for as long as she can string him along and the moment he doesn’t measure up she’ll branch to someone else.

I've seen a lot of people try to explain MTGOW, but you hit the nail on the head in one line that anyone (including offended women) should be able to understand. We are all arrived here via different paths, we're all travelling different directions, but the thing that joins us is that we realize we are free to choose our own goals in life.
