yea, the only things you can sometimes save are premarital assets. anything post-marriage is fair game. Judges also don't like when people try to pull a fast one on them.

America was partially founded on the idea of people being in charge of their own life and person. But now people are trying to put law into people's personal lives and remove the very option to make certain decisions, which I view as quite un-American.

It would be the choice to be able to own a gun. Pro-abortion would be a person saying "we should always abort". Which is fairly unheard of, being as most everyone does not want to end humanity as we know it. Pro-choice is just that, choice.

I once had it get to the point where two of my exes convinced themselves that I'm an abuser and they found each other, teamed up, and started threatening me saying they would start spreading the word around town that I'm an abusive person. They said that by telling everyone that they would "protect" other girls from me. Clearly anecdotes aren't much to go by, but I certainly understand those who think there's some kind of trend of this lately.

I think /u/powdershuttle made a decent point. It very well could be simply due to spite. They're so absolutely enraged that conservatives denounce Islam that they take the opposite side just for the sake of disagreeing with conservatives. Because, you know, non-partisan issues are evil or some shit. Everything being black/white, right/wrong, conservative/liberal is one of the most idiotic trends in the last few decades. Nobody is allowed to agree on anything.

I mean, that's really the only explanation that's ever made even a morsel of sense to me. The people at the top are simply doing it out of spite, and the droves of people just follow whatever the leaders say without thought. It's just so inconceivably stupid and destructive to social progress that it's really hard to believe that so many people are willing to follow suit.

Nope, MSOE offered me a $12,500/year scholarship out of high school and it was STILL more expensive than Tech. If Tech was too expensive, no way I was going to MSOE. Also, when in doubt, go to Stout. They aren't known as one of the top engineering schools in WI, I didn't even consider them honestly. I go to UW-Platteville. broomball is much like hockey in gameplay only you don't need skates or a stick, just shoes and a broom to play. as for the price, it may be cheaper than other schools, but I still think it's ridiculous. I went to another engineering college in my home state of WI for literally half the cost.

Yeah I was going to go there however even when they gave me in-state tuition it was too darn expensive for me. I do recall hearing about the lack of women on campus. But what they lacked in that, they made up with free ski passes to students, broomball, a snowmobile parking lot, and more. Every year I still suggest to my current college that they should make some broomball rinks around campus in the winter, that would be the shit.

Nope. I'm in the Midwest however. But if you're thinking of a certain engineering college in the UP, I can say that I've been there and the gender ratio is even worse (probably somewhere around 10:1 to 6:1) and I can imagine that they have similar issues as well.

I hear ya man. My college is advocating the whole "Real men respect women." campaign at our school and I just want to tell people that it should be more like "Real adults respect others." It's not about just men, it's about everyone being a decent human being to others.
