I wouldn’t leave and sounds like you need to be recording all interactions so she can’t make up shit to get you out. Don’t react to anything she says or does. Make notes. Don’t yell or get into any type of argument. She only has words and who cares about words. Keep your hands to yourself. You have to be the man, let her know you don’t want this and that you love her. That should be your only answer to whatever shade she throws your way.

You have a lot going for you. First you have one of the top professions women look for. When you’re ready you can easily land a hot chick in her early 30s. I went out and started talking to new people right away to take my mind off things. Start making plans with what you want to do next. You have a kid, you want to live near the beach to surf. You never know where you’ll be a year from now. Have fun with your kid and do the work on yourself where you think you screwed up.

She really doesn’t want to hear about your feelings but probably wants to feel like you understand her. If I was in counseling I’d let her talk and say shit like , so you’re saying you feel hurt when I’m working late because we’re not spending quality time together. That must have made you feel terrible baby. Basically repeat what she said in your own words and confirm how it made her feel. Unless she starts saying messed up things don’t let anything she says bother you. I would not get into any…
