Yea I agree it's all kinds of fucked up. If she is truly a victim in all this then I feel for her. As it is, if she was allowed to return to the UK, the community in her area would undoubtedly be in fear of some form of terrorism due to her association with ISIS and I think that should be a major factor in deciding whether to let her to return. It may not be kind to her to treat her as a terrorist, but it would be unfair to place that fear on innocent civilians too.

Morality etc. Aside, it's a danger to let her return. She could have orders from isis to carry out some atrocity on her return to the UK. As shitty as it may seem, she made her bed and now has to lie in it. Sure there's a chance that she was brainwashed or misled or whatever, but there's also the chance that she wasn't, or a chance that she still is. At the end of the day, she doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt when that benefit would carry the risk of lives in the UK.

I mean, you're technically right. In the UK at least, afaik when a woman commits what we would call rape, the law calls it sexual assault with unwanted penetration or something along those lines. Personally, I read an article years ago about a guy who got ruined by legal fees because he touched somebody lightly on the lower back trying to get past them in a bar.
